Here’s the thing: I have multiple Old Hollywood FC’s for Snow White, and while I try to keep the authenticity and integrity of my Snow White consistent, obviously each human would bring their own nuances to the portrayal and the lore of their own personal lives. That said, this concept has currently been on my mind so much: Elizabeth Taylor as Snow White in a late 1940s/early 1950s MGM fantasy film. She’s dressed in evening gowns by Helen Rose, some powdered blue and some canary yellow, and lives in a cottage type dwelling much like the house she had with Michael Wilding in the beginning of their marriage. She’s surrounded by all her chipmunks and the animals she brought about during her schooldays at MGM and, depending on how modern that plot would be, the Fairest of Them All would come up as allusions to when Elizabeth was called the most beautiful woman of the world in that era. Instead of seven dwarfs, it’d be her seven husbands.

The persona that Marylin Monroe portrayed to the public was essentially an act as she wasn't being authentically herself, but she can be used as a source of inspiration nonetheless. Marylin was pretty consistent with having this child-like, super feminine innocence about her. I personally found it to be adorable. It's pretty obvious why she was the bombshell of the 50s. Diana Dors has been a new favorite of mine. My favorite 50s blonde bombshell has always been Marylin and although the two are somewhat similar looks-wise, Diana had more of an edge to her personality-wise. Quick note before getting into this list--not everything I've read will make it. Just the stuff I read and recommend others parse through. For example, I have intentionally omitted my studies in Kabbalah to discourage others from unintentionally appropriating.

But by "parse through", I truly mean that.
