Sometimes I remember that line in S3 meant to show how BK keeps up appearances of running Providence more humanely than WK where Rex says WK was so cheap that he didn't even buy individual stalls for the bathroom and then I remember that Rex got his own basketball court and locker room and Providence was constantly canonically paying for repairs for damages caused by Rex fighting EVOs and fighting EVOs rather than just immediately collaring them and paying for food and cages and such for incurables and EVOs waiting for Rex to cure them and paying to keep Paradise/Purgatory base afloat and then I think maybe. Maybe there is another reason WK was cheap.

If I'm not mistaken, I've never shared my progress in embroidery here

Here is a small bookmark I've made last month, for a friend's birthday, with my sister doing the sewing of the 2 pieces with a little cardboard inside ; after all, it's a bookmark !. I'm happy with the results, particularly of the little bird (I'm learning needle painting at the moment), less so with my French knots (but they are an evil stitch). What do you think ?

I have a problem with longfics in which I will dive headfirst into them and read so fucking quickly, but then I’ll lose motivation 3/4ths of the way through (and it’s very very rarely a fault of the writing itself, I’ve experienced this with more longfics than I can count) and switch to something else and then never come back to the original one and it’s so sad 😞

And if I do end up coming back, I have another problem where I can’t pick up a fic right where I left off unless I remember it really really well. I HAVE to reread the whole thing… and then I end up quitting right around the same place I quit before anyways

#I want to read them I do #but my brain loses all interest #I’ve got 3 separate longfics sitting in my google tabs rn and I can already tell I’m starting to drop a 4th one I’m reading #they’re SO good but my brain just CANT DO IT #I think it’s related to gifted kid burnout tbh because I would do this with books too when I was in school #hell I still do it with books #I quit reading Songbirds and Snakes because I got to act 3 and just… couldn’t do it #my brain lost all interest once the actual hunger games part had concluded #everyone in my family who’s read it keeps telling me I should read the rest but I just cant #the very idea of reading it bores the fuck outta me
