A STUDY IN HOW DOES JAZZ RUN THIS BLOG ?

𝚂𝙿𝙴𝙴𝙳

I am extremely slow. i do my best but my writing depends heavily on inspiration not to mention that I get distracted by all sorts of things all the time. I also tend to start avoiding my drafts pretty heavily once they reach a high number (like they are right now, RIP) I´m usually quicker with people that I talk with ooc - mostly because I´m probably plotting with them and my motivation is super high for any plots that are plotted and talked about.

Like I said above, I`m usually drawn to the replies to the people I talk to with the most ; just because my motivation is the highest for those threads / or dynamics that we talked about. Speaking from experience over the past few weeks, those tend to be multiple paragraphs that make me go insane and rob me of all of my writing juices so I´m really just shooting myself in the leg everyntime but what can I say. I am a bit of an idiot

I´m not the biggest fan of random starters - it´s why I haven´t posted a starter call ever since the one when I first started this blog like a month and a half ago lmao ;; I just tend to lose muse for them pretty quickly unless our muses REALLY click and pop off but in general I prefer to plot things out a little more just to get some ideas flowing ;; to give us a chance to get really invested in whatever dynamic we came up with? But if we´ve been writing for a while and we have an established relationship between our muses I absolutely might hit you up with a random unprompted starter from time to time whenever an idea really tickles me - anD I INVITE YOU TO DO THE SAME FOR ME, PLEASE !!!

Oh man I swear i LOVE memes, I really, really do - but again I kinda shoot myself in the leg sometimes by hoarding them like a Dragon hoarding it´s mountain of gold. Again, I´m just extremely slow when it comes to writing - if you´ve sent me some in the past I promise I`ll get to them!!! just.....very slowly....and in time lMAO

It´s exactly because of all of the above that I tend to be really selective - though I have to admit that I haven´t been as selective as I perhaps should have been considering how overwhelmed I am with all the things I owe - rip. I always make sure to read everyone's rules before I follow / follow back which is why it might take me a while to do so sometimes.

I do have a very basic wishlist that I wrote around the time I started writing Billy - it is a little outdated at this point and there´s a lot of things i´ve thought about since then that I really want to write at some point so I really need to update it but you can access the wishlist really easy through a link in my pinned post!! and if any of the plotlines there strike your fancy please always feel free to hit me up in my dm´s or my discord if you have that!!!! I am an extremely anxious person. I struggle with getting to know new people because I get really nervous. if we follow each other and haven´t talked yet / or have talked only a little bit here and there I swear it´s not because of you or anything it´s probably because I got extremely anxious & or am too chicken to message you first and go “hi!!” like a normal person. The fact of the matter is, if we follow each other I´d absolutely LOVE to write & interact with you! I´m just sorry that I can´t really follow through sometimes because it just doesn´t work out for some reasons.

I’m back, and with the usual nonsense.

I’ve been thinking about that potential novelization again. Heck, I dreamed a while back that I was going to tweet Hallmark to ask “permission” to do it (but ended up tweeting them in the dream to novelize the Wedding March series instead). It’s fanfic. I don’t need permission to write it!!! (Dream!Me was stressed out at the idea that Hallmark could say yes, because then I’d be locked into writing it. I’m still marveling at Dream!Me’s confidence.)

I’m gonna ramble about the potential for a novelization of When Calls the Heart here, just ‘cause I can. I have a lot of thoughts and feelings and nowhere to put them. Read on if you’d like!

I like When Calls the Heart! I really do. It’s had its ups and downs, but overall things have been pretty darn awesome.

I don’t think any of us would be here if there wasn’t something about the show that really captured us, took us by storm. For some people it was the romance. For others, the friendships. I know people who watch the show for specific characters or character arcs (Henry comes to mind), or because they like the feel-good nature of the series while it deals with some realistically awful situations/issues; the Lee and Rosemary and the infertility plotline that popped up in S6 comes to mind, here.

Honestly, I wish I could trust someone else to novelize the tv series the way I’d like to see it done. Unfortunately I’m a picky baby and I have very specific ideas of what these characters are like from a more intimate POV than we get with the show, so...if I want it done, I gotta do it myself. (RIP my free time, though.)

The biggest roadblock, though is...feedback.

This fandom is notorious for being terrible about ‘participating’ and fanfic isn’t everyone’s cup of tea anyway. Imagine working your tail off to produce a well-crafted novelization of the series only for it to get ignored. I’d probably never write again...and that’s not me being dramatic, either. I think it’s fair to say “my time is worth something” and stick to that. It is. My time is worth a lot to me. I could use it to clean the house, do dishes, spend time with my husband, play with the cats, clean the yard, do gardening, work longer hours and get paid, play video games, crochet, et cetera. I have an endless supply of hobbies! It’s harder than it sounds, because it means I can’t ever dedicate tons of time to just, you know, one of them. On the plus side it means I’ve got something waiting in the wings no matter what mood I’m in!

The possibility exists that the story would be a surprise success, too. I mean, I doubt it (judging by the numbers, fanfic for this series isn’t that popular), but...you never know! Jack and Elizabeth are a focal point of the first few seasons and a novelization of the series would also support this.

Anyway, I think I said before that I was toying with the idea of pre-writing five chapters, posting them a week or two apart, and gauging interest based off of that. If people aren’t interested, I can abandon the project early enough into it that nobody has to feel sad about it. If people are into the idea, and take the time to comment on the chapters... Well, it looks like I’d have to keep going.

It’s just a struggle to get started.

For two reasons.

The first is the possibility of failure. Now, you could say it’s not a failure if you complete the project, or no time spent on a hobby is wasted, but for me that just isn’t true—at least not completely. Writing is a hobby, but it’s a very personal hobby. I pour a lot of myself into those stories, into storytelling, and the very point of writing for me, especially when I post it online, is the social aspect of it. Fanfiction is a social hobby! When nobody comments on the story, nobody favorites it, nobody bookmarks it...

Well, I might as well have just left it all in my head and not taken the time to write it down.

The second is...Elizabeth, and by extension, Jack. And, uh, by extension of that, Jack/Elizabeth.

Hear me out!

I think both characters have some good foundations going for them. Season 2 shattered a lot of the good things they had going on for the Dramaz (which I wholeheartedly disagree with), but I feel fully capable of warping the S2 events to better suit the characters we ended up with (and to avoid some of the unnecessary meaningless drama that never did sit right with me). I just feel like both characters are...a little bit...empty? And especially for focal characters, they need depth that the show just simply refused to provide outside of Dramatic Situations.

I’ve been working through some of that in my head. Something I always liked about Elizabeth was how she unapologetically enjoyed being rich! Whether she was in Coal Valley or Hamilton she sported fashionable things. She loved going shopping with her sisters, dressing up for dinner, et cetera. Her vague ignorance of people like Abigail visiting (welcome in the house, but definitely unaware of ‘dressing for dinner’) was this really nifty mix of like...endearing and frustrating. I think playing that up a little further, or rather...bringing it to the forefront, might be a great idea.

Speaking of Abigail, I think the character was an excellent addition to the series in the beginning and I’d prefer to continue along those lines, here. I’d fully plan to include her, but with my own slight twist on things; she stays Abigail. No Lorigail.

I can’t decide exactly what to do with some of the other characters, though. I greatly enjoyed Cat and her children, and as Emily is still around later I feel like I’d want to keep her around, but she needs a role to fill and it doesn’t feel quite right to relegate her to the very background when Elizabeth spent the first season going up to bat for her. I think I could figure it out easily enough, but it’s another consideration I’m up against.

Of course, this is all kind of hinging on the idea that the first five chapters would be met with some measure of success, because if people kind of shrugged over them it won’t matter what I do with Cat or anyone else.

Anyway I feel like it should be stated outright that I have no real intentions of completely altering anything...at this time. That could definitely change, though, if the readerbase wanted it badly enough and I felt it was appropriate. There are some things that I think need more attention, but that’s not the same as altering events, per se. Bill as a character comes on really mysterious but what’s the point of writing him that way when the entire potential readerbase already knows he’s married? Already knows about the counterfeit plotline? It might actually be more fun to get into his head and write some of those scenes from his perspective (third person limited, not first person; I despise first person). Then we have his reasoning (stupid or not) instead of the mystery.

Therein lies the reasoning necessary for anyone to actually start reading it in the first place: it offers something the tv show doesn’t (because text-based mediums can get into people’s heads and narratively examine their psyche) but doesn’t actually deviate hard from what people already know and like about the show. I guess you could say that it’s giving them more of what they like?

I think the difficult part of balancing a novelization has to do with the points of view; do you pick a few and stick with those? Do you GRRM it up and everyone gets it sometimes, or do you choose the scenes and select the narrative based specifically on how that scene would best be told, which could result in some people having more scenes than others?

I’m leaning a little toward the latter with the idea that some characters will probably never get their own scenes, because if a character is only allowed to have one, why bother even giving them that? I’m not sold on the idea though, because I can’t even choose a character who wouldn’t get a scene. Probably characters who just aren’t around enough for it to matter? I’m thinking about characters like Greta (the investor) or Jenkins (bank manager) more than I am even characters like Ray Wyatt, ‘cause at least Ray sticks around in the story for a reasonable period of time (and therefore might deserve a scene or two along the way).

(Though I mean, I can’t say for sure. We all know what happens to these characters, so maybe I’d have to stick with giving characters scenes who will eventually join the ensemble of Hope Valley? Hm.)

I guess it’s something to think about.

Rolling again with the assumption that the story is a success (let’s just be confident, here!) there are future aspects of the series that didn’t really do it any favors and/or weren’t presented in a satisfactory manner.

I’ll give a few examples off the top of my head: Season 2′s drama, Lorigail, AJ and Bill’s weird relationship dynamic, wedding drama for Jack and Elizabeth.

I can swallow a lot of nonsense! I like drama...when it’s interesting and done well. What I don’t appreciate is the cheap stuff, designed to fling a roadblock in the way of a romantic couple. Jack and Elizabeth didn’t need Charles to make things feel off/weird/bad, or for Jack to be made to feel unwelcome. I personally think the entirety of the S2 plot could be better shaped and molded for the characters. We can still have drama, but not at the expense of the characters’ integrity!

Just throwing ideas out there, but in the novels Elizabeth’s original contract was only for a year, so when that year was up and it was the summer break from school, she returned to Hamilton and waited to hear from Coal Valley to find out if she’d be invited back there for the next school term. I’m not against Elizabeth’s mother falling ill to get her back to Hamilton, but I’d prefer if her...extended stay there didn’t hinge of iffy (flimsy) health stuff. They resolved that way too neatly and it was just... I don’t know. It could have been better done, maybe to offset the potential for drama.

As far as Lorigail goes, I think Abigail taking on a role in town as part of the town council and eventually stepping up as mayor should come at a cost, and those costs eventually lead to her giving up her role as mayor (which would take care of a lot of the lorigail issues of her just being involved in everything). Obviously this is so far in the future it’d hinge on a very successful story overall, but I’m busy being confident so I’m willing to entertain the idea that someday I’d have to address this.

AJ also doesn’t show up for a very long time but her introduction was pretty mediocre, and Bill’s reaction to her (not chasing her down instantly) didn’t make a lick of sense. Bill isn’t easily swayed by anyone’s dumb opinion, and he’s not a romantic in the traditional sense so it’s hard to imagine a kiss from a stranger made him slack on his job duties. An easy fix here would just be to show the good moments that had to have existed between the bad ones. The only reason Bill would let AJ go without even trying to find her is if he feels that 1) she doesn’t deserve to be jailed, and/or 2) she’s safer if she’s free. It’s not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things but I think it’d be a real shame not to ‘fix’ the issue while possible.

Finally, with the wedding drama... Honestly they didn’t need any of it. The church didn’t need to burn. If we want wholesome content: there’s been a bit of a drought and there aren’t any nice flowers for the wedding, so Elizabeth’s dad remembers that his girls used to like making paper flowers and organizes everyone to use colored paper to make them so they can string them up in the church. I mean, something little like that doesn’t really change the backbone of the story we’re getting (I mean, we’re here for Jack and Elizabeth’s wedding, a celebration of happiness, not for the drama that ends up being completely meaningless). Cute mishaps on the wedding day would be much better/more interesting/tell a better story.

(Or maybe Bill just about completely misses the wedding and then we get Lee and Rosie’s rings being used, which sort of ties in with how close Elizabeth gets with them in S6 storylines...)

The more I think about it, the more potential for an amazing story I find in this, and the more excited I get.

Henry is SUCH an interesting character; it would be amazing to get into his head early on.

Imagine getting to see Elizabeth and Abigail’s friendship actually form.

Clara’s relationship with other people, like Abigail and Elizabeth, but also exploring the specific kind of grief she feels vs. the grief Abigail feels and how that might clash/be different.

Exploring the different relationships the women in town had with their husbands. Some were obviously still in love, some not so much, others ready to move on quickly and a few completely closed to the idea.

A schoolhouse/group of kids that isn’t replaced every ten seconds and remains somewhat consistent...

Getting to write Jack and Elizabeth actually falling in love over the big and the little things.

Elizabeth as a passionate teacher.

Characters dealing with nightmares, good dreams, dreams about their friends or potential love interests... I want to see real raw human emotion, here! The good stuff, definitely, but maybe some of the bad, too, because writing the different ways they deal with it could be...fun.

Abigail being Abigail and staying Abigail... ♥

HOBBIES being a part of everyday life!!

CHURCH!!!!! SERMONS! Worship! Gathering together for meals!

Rewriting some of the dangerous scenes to actually FEEL dangerous.

Writing in Julie’s perspective would be SO much fun.

Including travel time for the big events and shaping the world into a place where time MATTERS aaaaaa that’s so fun too!

Anyway, I’m rambling. I just really, really love the idea of writing this. I have so many thoughts and ideas I want to do, all without deviating too far from the source material that we all love so much.

It’s just hard to feel like I should spend my free time on it...but lately it’s really been gnawing at me, so...

We’ll see! It could be a lot of fun just to try. At least if I try, I’ll know. If I don’t, I’ll probably always wonder what might have happened if I had.

ALTON ADVENTURES BIG ANNOUNCEMENT

So...because its Friday and I usually update AA on Fridays, I figured it was time to make my big announcement!

And that is...that Alton Adventures is changing. A little bit.

Am I rebooted the comic again? No haha! Once I get back to it it shall continue as normal but some characters may look a bit different going forward.

Who may those characters be?

Sir Gareth Nemesis

Why is he changing?

Sir Nemesis’ change is actually less drastic than one may think. For starters, he needed a design rehaul. I wanted his armor to be more simple, easier to draw but with still details that could tie him to Nemesis (the green eye, the arms, the light pink details instead of inconsistent tentacles). I also had an issue where his hair was too close to his skin color, so to combat this I turned him into a ginger! His eye color also changed from gold to green, another thing to visually tie him more to Nemesis.

So yes, I changed Sir Nem’s design because I was unhappy with it. His armor was never drawn consistently ever, I was constantly changing the tone of his hair and his skin so that was inconsistent. I want my designs to be more consistent and polished going forward.

What else is different? Well, you can probably tell he looks much more serious, like in older pictures I drew of him. Why is that? Well, I was kind of..honestly tired of his role as the “dad character tm” that he kind of turned out to be. It almost undermined his true characterization and turned him into a typical over the top exaggerated hero character. And I started to realize how much I missed his original concept. A battle hardened solider that was filled with regret and remorse, who heavily sympathizes with the plight of the alien he’s locked in combat with. He’s still much a father however, as he has a biological son and adopts an alien who mimics his likeness (hence another reason he’s a ginger now as his Nemesis daughter always was one). He’s just returned to his roots as a character. Because I felt that characterization was a unique one for the Nemesis ride. And it was an idea I really loved. Sir Nemesis actually WAS one of my favorite characters...I wanted his role to be much larger than it is in the comics. I don’t blame anyone for him becoming a joke, I did initially kind of fuel the fire for it, I’m just hoping that its not to late to get back to the Sir Nemesis I originally wanted to write. And of course, all my characters are still meme and joke worthy. I just want to tackle much more serious issues with my comic and show the more serious side of some of my characters and don’t want there entire existence to be a joke Mr.S can’t have too many folks 1 uping him in the laughs department! I guess to note with this change that his original voice claim has also been solidified as well. It’s a more somber and serious tone that I feel fits him as a character.

Final Notes

Sir Nemesis is a character that I have a lot of thought put into. His backstory is tragic, emotional, and his character is complex and he’s not the perfect hero people might image him as. I plan for his Arc to follow the Fireworks arc in the comic, as well as I am planning to start some more text heavy short stories about how the Secret Weapons became Secret Weapons (which I will likely call Secret Weapon Short Stories hehe) and will be writing his first. Also a very important thing i must address. Yes, the eye on his chest moves. (I have a gif but it doesn’t want to work on this post Ill have it up later ><)

Erica Annabelle Cloud

ooof okay this is a huge one. Confession time. Erica was always my least favorite character. Why? She just had...no character. I didn’t know what I wanted to do with her, her design felt phoned in and there because I needed an Air/Galatica character, (yes, she is changing as her Galatica stage too). She was just. not well thought out. She had a dual identity but I think a lot of people didn’t pick up on that? She felt like a Rita 2.0 as just a nice and friendly optimistic person and literally had 0 backstory. Originally she was supposed to have had some sort of accident that turned her into Galatica and she had memory loss and forgotten about when she was Air, yeah it was a mess. That eventually just turned into Nebula Corona being a character she made up (bc her one trait was that she was into space and wrote a lot) that she played as when her rides themeing changed.

She was just..barely a character and her design was abysmal (Her Galatica suit was okay but her Air outfit was an afterthought) She needed a massive visual upgrade. A sleeker flight suit that makes more sense (I used a ref or two for this design!) A different face shape to help her stand out more, my signature they wear glasses they have dot eyes look. Long, wispy, flowing hair to resemble those trails planes make. A bit more lanky and tall. And let me tell you I LOVE her design now. It looks so much more unique and you can just SEE she has so much more character now! As for her characterization im going full into her being a nerd. A very tech nerd at that! She designed her suit to help her fly at her best, and eventually will be the one that designs and builds all her Galatica tech! Her Galatica design hasn’t been done yet, mostly bc I wanted to focus on her current comic canon design, but not much would change I feel with her upgrade anyways! She is effectively the brains of the group, and the others often turn to her for plans of attack when dealing with a situation, or innovative solutions to problems! I have yet to get a voice claim for her, but im sure one will come to me soon enough!

Final Notes

Erica/Nebula was a character I struggled to connect with. Everyone else had Airs that were either super plot important, or just much more cool and creative in general. I felt, that with my Air/Galatica she was just there, and I wanted her to be more. So a full character rehaul was done with her and it makes me so happy. She feels much more fleshed out, better designed, and I’m super excited to do more stuff with her, and hopefully you will all see her much more now that I’m a lot happier with her as a character! <3

Welp that's the end of the updates....wait. Hold on. I have something written here. What could this be? Oh! I remember now!

Black Hole, AkA Beatrix, will be joining the MAIN CAST of Alton Adventures!

When I drew my Black Hole design, I knew she was something special. She stands out compared to a lot of my characters, and her design SCREAMS main character. While the biggest main roles will still be held by Mr. S and Rita, I wanted to add another non SW coaster to the main crew, and because Canonically Corkscrew is MIA, Black Hole seemed like a fitting addition to the main crew! As she isn’t human, a species literally only referred to as Black Holes, I thought making her a main character and giving her a big arc would help flesh out the reality of non humans in Alton Adventures! Her powers and design and character and personality are just too fun to shove her into the background. I feel that adding her to the main cast gives them not only another character to support them, but a closer friend! You will all see her much more in the future for certain!

Well that's about it! In terms of comic updates themselves...its still going to be hiatus as long as I’m being swamped with school work. I hope you all understand. I’ll try to squeeze in updates over the breaks I have IF im not working on assignments for class. As I also said, I wanna do short stories as well, to expand the world and explain it better, as a comic will only develop the world so quickly and lots of you have tons of questions! I also wanna do something animated at some point, that’s my dream. I’ve ALSO mentioned to some people about merch, likely going for making stickers first since that's simple. I got an excited reaction for that so I’ll come up with designs for them soon! I just wanna do a lot with Alton Adventures, because I know how much it means to people, and of course it means so much. Goodness I really need to actually get to this park, I look quiet silly constantly gushing over a themepark I’ve never been to all the time XP That all aside I thank you all for sticking by me. I promise that even if I don’t do comic updates as frequently during the school year, I’ll still work to push out as much AA content I can outside of that! I’m always open to suggestions to what you guys want to see! ALSO, working on a big google doc spreadsheet with info on all the characters I’ll be posting when its more completed! So be on the lookout for that!

Again thank you to everyone who’s stuck with me through this, Your support makes me feel nothing but proud of what I’ve created. These characters may have been created out of something some may consider silly or odd, but the only thing that matters to me if that I can make at least someone happy with what I create.

Sony’s planned reboot of The Crow has once again gotten its wings clipped.

Star Jason Momoa on Thursday morning confirmed he and director Corin Hardy were leaving the project. Financial issues are said to be the reason behind the Film-to-watchonline ’s failure to launch, but the inability to get this project on the right track has now been a decade-long saga.

The Crow, following the plot of the original comic series by James O’Barr, and the 1994 Film-to-watchonline of the same name, would tell the story of Eric Draven, a man who is killed alongside his fiancee by a vicious gang led by the sociopathic Top Dollar. Eric is resurrected by a supernatural crow who gives him abilities to stalk down the killers and claim vengeance. While there’s a beauty in the simplicity of its narrative, contrasted by the complexity of grief through which O’Barr was inspired — a result of his own personal tragedy — The Crow has been one of the most challenging Film-to-watchonline s for Hollywood to remake. From script issues, budgetary concerns, the inability to find a director or star who stays on long enough for production to start, the project has encountered a development hell unlike any other comic book Film-to-watchonline based on a single narrative. It seems The Crow is cursed to remain dormant. Perhaps these latest exits are further signs that the notion of remaking the Film-to-watchonline should finally be given up.

Plans to remake Alex Proyas’ 1994 Film-to-watchonline were first announced in 2008 with Stephen Norrington (Blade) ready to sit in the director’s chair. Norrington ultimately left the project and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later) joined as helmer in 2011, with Bradley Cooper set in the lead. Cooper eventually left, and Mark Wahlberg was said to be his replacement until Fresnadillo dropped out as well. In 2012, Francisco Javier Gutierrez (Rings) signed on to direct, with Tom Hiddleston and Alexander Skarsgard rumored to be circling the project. Luke Evans was officially cast in 2013 and James O’Barr was hired on as creative consultant. This time, it seemed, The Crow would finally fly. Yet, before anyone could get the fog machines set, Gutierrez left the project. Corin Hardy was hired in 2014 and Jack Huston was cast in the lead, but Relativity Media’s bankruptcy stalled the Film-to-watchonline . In 2016, Jason Momoa replaced Huston and the Film-to-watchonline was retitled The Crow Reborn. But that rebirth was not to be.

In an Instagram post, Momoa lamented the fact that he wouldn’t be able to take on his dream role eight years in the making. While he made it clear that he had no ill feelings towards his experience working with Hardy and Sony Pictures, he did apologize to creator O’Barr for letting him down. Momoa suggested it may take another eight years for the project to come to fruition.

It’s easy to sympathize with the creatives involved, given the time and effort they spent in trying to get this project off the ground. But The Crow shouldn’t fly again, regardless of the best of intentions from everyone involved. Sure, Film-to-watchonline s are rebooted and remade all the time, but The Crow feels different — sacred in its perfect alignment of all the right elements, and the one thing that went very wrong.

The 1994 Film-to-watchonline , directed by Proyas, holds up incredibly well as both an adaptation and a Film-to-watchonline that created its own visual language. There’s a legacy that the movie has, which has earned it a special place among fans. Its cult reputation not only stems from the way in which the pic deals with grief, but also as a result of the tragic death of star Brandon Lee. Lee, who was accidently shot and killed on the set of the Film-to-watchonline in 1993, played the central role of Draven with a melancholic vigor that hit home with audiences. As the actor’s final role, many have seen the tragic parallels between the Film-to-watchonline and Lee’s short life. Lee, who was set to be married a week after The Crow finished Film-to-watchonline ing, has become a figure of gothic romance within the narrative of Hollywood tragedy. But looking beyond the sensationalizing of his death and the comparisons drawn between Lee and the additionally short life of his father, Bruce Lee, there remains the simple fact that he is absolutely brilliant in his portrayal of Draven. But the Crow seems different. This may be because Lee died on set during Film-to-watchonline ing, or it may be because the movie deals so heavily with death and the inability and unwillingness to let go of people. Whichever the case, it feels like Eric Draven’s story has been told for good, and Hollywood studios have the opportunity to be curators of a once-in-a-lifetime performance.

The franchise notably didn’t end with Proyas’ Film-to-watchonline . The Crow spawned three sequels: The Crow: City of Angels (1996), The Crow Salvation (2000) and The Crow: Wicked Prayer (2005), which saw a steady decline in interest and quality. What these Film-to-watchonline s did have working for them was that they continued the story of the Crow through characters other than Draven who were looking for vengeance. Thus, the Crow franchise became an anthology, an angle which comic book miniseries subsequently took as well. Draven was only portrayed again in the short-lived Canadian TV series The Crow: Stairway to Heaven (1998). In terms of Film-to-watchonline , Eric Draven has only ever been Brandon Lee.

Proyas has been publicly outspoken about his feelings toward the Crow remake. In December, the Film-to-watchonline maker wrote in a Facebook post that he opposed the idea of a remake, calling it wrong. “Hollywood should just let it remain a testament to [Brandon’s] immense talent and ultimate sacrifice," he wrote. There are other versions of The Crow, centered around different characters and set in different time periods, that could be told if Sony remains insistent on trying to make the movie happen, but the departure of Hardy and Momoa might be the final nail in a coffin that should remain closed. Lee gave everything he had to the role of Eric Draven and the dream of Hollywood stardom. It seems only right that Hollywood celebrate and mourn that dedication by letting the remake idea finally rest so that the actor’s legacy lives on through the recognition that what he did cannot be re-created.
