Many years ago I was an assistant manager at [REDACTED]. So one day I'm at the register and this person and their child are checking out, the kiddo (maybe 10yo) asks to get a candy bar. Of course the parent says no, and the kid looks confused and says "But it's Friday. There should be no limits on Friday."

So I live by that now. I'm treating myself to all kinds of goodies because life is shitty rn but I just got paid and it's Friday and there's no limits on Friday.
