Hello!

Inspired by other smash or pass blogs, this one is about Fire Emblem characters!

My name is Mod Garn and I use she/her!

Will only be posting characters who are 18+ but since this is Fire Emblem not everyone has a canon age. Even if they do, a character's age can be called into question. TL;DR I'll be arbitrarily judging a character if they look old enough for this. If you think a character should or shouldn't be here, I am sorry.

I will be doing almost every character in the franchise, including from the mainline and spin-off games, one off generics, the cipher exclusives, and manga exclusives.

Also I am splitting up characters who are technically the same character but under different identities.

Characters that will be excluded are:

underage characters (as mentioned before)

characters without a decent (or any) picture of them

Characters who share the same portrait as each other since that will be redundant

Generic portraits for classes, so if a character uses a generic class portrait (ex the 10 elites from fe3h) they won't be included (the only exceptions are Abysskeeper and Gatekeeper)

I'll be posting 3 characters a day, alphabetically, at 3PM EST.

Also thank you to reddit user u/Just_Nefariousness55 for making this post compiling every character in the games. My life was made so much easier because of you.

IT'S DONE. I'M DONE.

535 hours across 5 complete playthroughs, dear BG3 you are going on the shelf until I can look at you again. xDD

the last run was super fun, the tactician difficulty definitely made me more involved/finally got me using scrolls and various potions and elixirs instead of hoarding them till (and past) the very end

i even managed to accomplish the most difficult thing in the whole game and saved all the gondians (if you know, you know)

maybe I'll attempt an honor run one day, but this is not the day

#bg3 playthrough #Astarion's run was a mixed bag for most of the companion outcomes #he didn't dissuade anyone away from their wants #so gale and wyll got way different endings than what i usually go for #karlach's no more #so is lae'zel #halsin's fine #Shadowheart's fine living quiet life with Astarion in the countryside #the game was definitely worth the full price several times over #though i admit it's mostly the companion storylines that make it shine plot-wise #the overarching plot does try to spoon-feed you social commentary every now and again #i swear the whole refugee thing made me roll my eyes more than once #i still think the name sucks for a group of people who lived like 1-2 hours away by car from the city of Baldur's Gate #like 100-150 miles maybe #come on #survivors from elturel would've been better #on the same note trying to sell the city as some sort of beacon of light/hope when you see that every other house has a murder basement #'jewel of coast' indeed #a grand unpolished kidney stone more like it

I think that past!Belos knew or suspected that Luz was from the future and that why he left his carefully edited journal to the library ~400 years ago so Luz would eventually find it, read it and lead to her traveling back to show his past self the light glyph since he couldn’t find it back then and his future self probably remembered learning it from a time hopping Luz. Which connects to Lilith who traveled with Luz.

“I’m starting to think I wasn’t very good at my job.”

Belos made sure not to let Lilith in on anything important or about the Day of Unity because he knew that she’d someday betray him and time travel using the timepools with the human. He already knew that Lilith was going to someday betray him from the moment she joined the Emperor’s Coven and that a human girl would someday appear on the Boiling Isles in the future and they would travel back looking for his past self and show him the light glyph and help him get past the stone sleeper guarding the Collector’s summoning disk.

TLDR: Emperor Belos knew that Lilith would betray him and that another human would someday appear on the Isles. He also knew that Lilith and the human would travel back to his past to find him as Philip Wittebane seeking knowledge on how to build a portal to the human realm. Knowing or highly suspecting that they found him though his journal, Philip edited it carefully and left it in the library for Luz to find in the future to lead her to want to meet him in the past and showing him the light glyph.
