Nightmare Nightmore Highlights.
I'm not gonna recap or analyze the episode too much I just wanna share a few of my favorite things! Not really any spoilers, if you've already seen the leaks of Abbey and her mom floating around then you're all caught up.
Draculaura is throwing a party for the holiday of Nightmore, but I couldn't possibly care less. I'm here for Abbey!
Heath has the same reaction to seeing Abbey for the first time as a lot of us did. in Awe of her beauty. same dude, same.
She towers over everyone! even the boys! I am in love!
Draculaura is like a smurf compared to tall powerful Abbey.
Abbey's eyes aren't purple anymore, they are brown! and so pretty! breaks up the abundance of purple in her hair and outfit I am super into it!
Abbey's hair blend is the colors of the Bi flag and I have no choice but to stan.
Mama Bominable threatening to bring forth a cold harsh merciless winter upon Bloodgoods head if she doesn't produce Abbey is such a mood. I love me a good mama bear.
WHERE IS NIGHTMARE!? why is this messenger dragon hanging out in Bloodgood's office but her horse isn't!? The episode even has nightmare in the title but I see no Nightmare the horse. I don't like it. A headless horse person without their horse is just a zombie... why are you booing me? I'm right!
Draculaura already has her license in this gen? I'm here for it! Also Clawd chose to sit next to her. Also Clawd said "nailed it like a coffin" which was only ever said in G1 by Clawdeen and that makes me happy.
This is the second or third episode where Lagoona inexplicably has flat teeth, the music video for her doll did this too. I'm not exactly a professional animator but I've studied it enough to know that rendering characters off model is a fire-able offense. Fix it Nickelodeon.
Heath encouraging Abbey to use her ice powers telling her she is strong, charismatic and beautiful. ahhhh! my heart!... I've mentioned on here I'm not much of a shipper per-se. But that was a lie, Habbey was one of my OG ships and it brings me such joy to see them again! I needed this since the only Heath we got during G2 was this:

Yeti's in this universe seem to basically be water benders and I am okay with that! Mama Bominable is fuckin pissed! LOL Bye Bloodgood it's been nice knowing you!
Damn, Abbey's dad didn't contribute any genetics to that her at all. Mama Bominables genes were like "this is MY child!" I do love that she has horns and a more pronounced underbite, perhaps Abbey will get these traits as she grows? Or maybe her buns are hiding her horns? IDK but it's fun to imagine! I wonder where they got the idea to give their yeti Horns... HMMMMMMM
it's a mystery, we'll never know.
This isn't even a highlight I'm just taking pictures of Mama Bominabe at this point, I love a strong woman willing to murder the school principle for her daughters safety.
SHE CALLED ABBEY SNOW ANGEL AHHHHHH- I'm sorry I just had to get that out.
The boy is in love! .... And he actually says something really profound. I'm so impressed G3 is giving Heath some depth and not just making him a one note idiot... Don't get me wrong, I liked one note idiot Heath but there was more to him than that.
Heath trying to kiss Abbey on the first day of meeting her is absolutely a G1 call back.
in her intro episode he kissed her hand and his lips froze off.
I love everything about this episode! I love that Abbey is Nepali! it's way more accurate to her Monster type and before some nerd tries to get in the replies and go "Actually Russia occupied Nepal at one point" that's true, they did BUT! the myth of the Yeti originated in 1937, Russia didn't occupy the Himalayas until the 1960's.
This episode is my new favorite! I heard a rumor that we won't get any new Monster High episodes until after the new year, but if they are anything like this? they will be worth the wait!

You part your lips willingly, opening wide for him. You watch as he purses his lips, eyes burning as they wander back down before spitting into your open mouth. You groan loudly, but not loud enough to miss his groan- much more guttural than yours, something vaguely animalistic.
“You’re going to cum for me, Miss Thompson,” he says darkly. “You’re going to cum for me, and depending on how big of a mess you make on my hand, I’ll consider fucking you- does that sound fair?”
You nod you head vigorously, teetering too closely to the edge to consider his question seriously- he could have told you to streak naked through campus and you would have said yes.

911 Lone Star Rewatch: 3x01
Ahhhh!! I'm so excited!!!!! I love love love the ice storm arc. It's so brilliant. (Like, if I had a nickel every time a 911 show had a multi-episode arc at the beginning of their third season that changed me as a person.... you know what I mean?) Okay, okay. Enough yapping. Let's get into thissss.
Opening with the shot of Billy and his black eye is iconic. You deserve it greasy man. "if you want to blame anybody, blame yourself." "And yet, I blame you." Tell him, Owen!!!
MARJAN'S OUTFIT. Her headscarf wrapped like a long braid!! She looks gorgeous.
"We never give up, until hell freezes over" immediately switch to an it's always sunny in Philadelphia title card that says 'Hell freezes over & the gang gives up".
I have to say the thing that they do on this multi-episode arcs where they show you the first part of an emergency, but don't come back to it until sometimes episode later, stresses me outtttt. That kid under the ice is just so terrifying.
Okay but why are the paragon uniforms so good though? Paragon is the worst, but TNT looks great in powder blue.
So did everyone know that TK and Carlos were broken up before the episode aired?? Like was it in promos or trailers or was it a shock during the first episode??? Someone who was around, let me know! Because I would have been shocked.
Charlie's nursery is so beautiful. Judd put so much care into his little cloud animals for his daughter. Ughhhhhhh. The only dad ever.
So Carlos gets to the 126 preeeetty quickly after they call the cops on Marjan. Is that where his beat is? Or was he just around the area because he knew what was happening that day and knew Marjan was gonna cause some trouble.
Season 3 is definitely the best Carlos' entry.
I'm not gonna lie, I loved Owen's hill country era. Just him and buttercup going on a little walkabout for a while, leaving the house to Matteo and TK. OH AND SADIE. She sucks, obviously. But god she is so fun. Because you really don't see her betrayal coming at all.
"Look at our little probie all grown up!" That's his brother your honor. Matteo and TK's dynamic is great and, admittedly, underappreciated.
Billy... I love you...I hate you... I love you...I hate you...
"Try not to hit any pot holes on the way". TK is trying his BEST, Tommy.
Carlos have such a cool and calm exterior and then just being the most awkward and sweet man on the inside. I want to study him like a bug.
Here's the thing, Marjan. I get what you are saying about how Owen could've just signed the letter. But I am with Judd and Paul on this one. "unprovoked, cowardly attack" would have made me throw another punch.
Judd talking to Grace about Owen hitting Billy is so funny. "he knocked that man out cold." "But did he die though????"
I think one hug from Buttercup would heal me.
"hide behind your beard and your strategically placed clutter" I'm sorry Owen, but Marjan ate you up a bit with that one.
Okay wait. When the roof of that building collapses, right before Carlos picks up the Major, I can't quite catch what was said. Does Carlos ask him 'do you trust me?'. Cuz if so, the Major says yes so fast. And I think that says a lot about the impression Carlos leaves on people. He's just so clearly a decent human.
OH GOD. Carlos immediately forgetting how to speak as soon as he sees TK. And TK BEING THE ONE TO RESPOND TO CARLOS' QUESTION with his little sassy answer. Ugh, you idiots are so in love.
Matteo, Paul, and Judd are peak brotherhood in season 3. Like their whole Elsa's palace exchange is golden. Matteo and Paul start to make fun of Judd and he takes it to 11 immediately.
Owen is always going on the most insane side-quests.
I forgot this episode ends with Marjan's crash! Another cliffhanger! After a whole hiatus!! I would have been gnawing at the bars of my enclosure.
Season 3, my beloved!! I'm very happy to be in this part of the rewatch. These next 17 episodes are going to be great. 10/10!!

Critical Role Season 2 Episode 136 Thoughts (Part One) -
Wasn't in the mood for liveblogging last night, but here are the thoughts I had while watching!
Warning, this is long and loud and busy with little breathing space, read at own will!

Well I just opened the stream and was greeted by a very smooth Fjord.

Listening to the stream with no video is interesting, I've started learning certain audio cues off by heart now.
Such as when the art reel is about to end, when Matt is about to call the opening sequence and when the raven flies away during the opening sequence.
It's fun.
I've also gained much more respect for Matt's voice acting thanks to listening with no video. Like, I can see these NPCs from just hearing their voices???

Soo . . . I started the Greed Island arc. Quick compilation of my reactions so far:
Gon's faces and Killua's blushies are PRECIOUS
AHHHH HIS HAIRRRR HIS EYESSSSS
I was so happy at first when I found out he was gonna join them, and then he had to ruin it with his worst scene so far. My reaction:
My reaction to them letting Hisoka join the team even though I already knew that would happen because I watch the opening everytime:
Overall, it's not a bad arc so far, but the infodumps about how to game works are annoying, because I can never follow them very well.
Honestly, that's just a thing that happens for me with watching anime all the time. In manga it's different because it's a heck of a lot easier to go back and read what's being said vs. having to go back during a video. That's just me though.
I HATE THE BOMBER THO
I'm really enjoying Bisky so far. The whole mini arc where she trained the boys was really satisfying and was just a real good dose of pure shounen.

i can find the major basically anywhere, but this is the least expensive place 😔😔 bc i’m not smart enough to go to a public school, also i don’t exactly do ~college~ it’s a 2 year course that’s way more practical but the degree works just like a college one. but my school is actually pretty great in education, it seems, they have really high grades in the ministry of education (my course has a 4 out of 5, and others have 5 out of 5) but some of my classes are pretty horrible too ksjndkj but oh well what dont we do to have a good job right
i’m basically in the areas of design and technology right, so i’m studying ux/ui design, front end development, some other programming languages and i’ve also been learning drawing fundamentals, so i can go to illustration/animation. I BASICALLY WANNA DO EVERYTHING RELATED TO THESE AREAS LMAO i recently bought a game development course, so i’m gonna start that too!! drawing, illustration, animation, gaming, design, programming, 3d modeling, app development, idkkkk i love learning stuff and doing stuff but actually ~studying~ is a pain in the ass lmao ALSO THANK U FOR LIKING MY CONTENTTTTT, as a graphic designer i feel like i never do enough of ~design~ here on tumblr lmao like my gfx (the few i’ve done) are rlly basic but oh well

It’s no problem! I skimped a bit on the details before since I didn’t want to attack you with a wall of text, but I’m happy to talk about it some more.
I wanted to keep the main conflict that Yuuri has to be with his anxiety. Not gonna lie, after throwing some ideas back and forth with a friend, I was very thoroughly convinced that getting Toshio knocked up and dying during a nightmarish Twilight-ish birth would be a great idea to fuel Yuuri’s manpain (partially because I love Yuuri’s mum and didn’t want to go down the whole route of killing off female characters to fuel the main characters character development/conflict, etc. I also thought the idea of a wombless birth for a demon pact baby was efficiently poetic/demonically magical enough). I think his mother would keep the specifics of his birth and what he is a secret, but Mari would be close enough to know that his birth is connected to her father’s death (I imagine that she would resent Yuuri as a child and reveal this to him at some point, but also grow to love him in spite of this resentment). So yeah, Yuuri’s main conflict with himself would be over his sense of self worth and feeling burdensome to his family, and also being unsure whether or not people genuinely love him or if they care for him only as an obligation to his father’s memory.
As for the problems that are specific to the whole demon pact baby thing, I think the only thing I solidly settled on was him not being able to enter church/holy grounds without great difficulty e.g. bursting into flames maybe. Other things might be animals are wary of him (I wonder how it’d effect Makkachin and Vicchan?), or maybe he’d be collected by the demon his parents made a pact with at some point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ For a plot that revolves around the demon pact baby thing, I don’t think I’ve thought about the actual mechanics of what that entails as much as I have the effects it would have on his interpersonal relationships and personal turmoil haha
