Top 30 Films of the Year (via my Letterboxd)
I wanted to do something for Christmas that was both a summary and also something a little different from the stuff I already write, and seeing as I record pretty much every movie that I watch on my Letterboxd, then I figured I may as well write about it a little on here. In no particular order, my top 30, the perfect Christmas treat if you're trying to find a little movie to give your family some Christmas cheer.
Charade (1963)
Tumblr media
This film is if you imagine House of Gucci except for it's a bunch of blokes trying to frame and murder each other and one of them has stolen the heart of Audrey Hepburn. This film mixes both humour and drama perfectly, and you can play a fun game where you can take a shot for every plot twist in the film. Letterboxd says I rated it 4/5 so that means I recommend it.
Uncut Gems (2019)
Tumblr media
I watched this movie for the first time the day that I'd sent off my pcr test to find out if I had Covid (I did) so watching this was an absolute whirlwind after overdosing on cough syrup and laying in bed with a fever. This movie was the first time I'd ever seen Julia Fox in anything which is cool and that pimped out Furby.... I think about him a lot. I rated this 4 stars on Letterboxd so another recommendation.
Scooby Doo (2002)
Tumblr media
No, not the movie where Velma wears the latex suit, the first movie. I feel like every Scooby Doo movie is just as chaotic and pretty much the same which is why I probably can't remember the plot to this. I was even more confused to read my Letterboxd review which just says 'i like the bit when mr bean turns into an oompa looma'. 5 stars though.
The Lighthouse (2019)
Tumblr media
Truth be told, I hated this movie and my flatmates were very upset to learn that I didn't like it. It becomes funnier when you have the Vine boom noise playing in a video behind it though, it's like having an extra jumpscare. Sorry film bros, I just couldn't hack it. I rated it 0.5 stars meaning it was one of two of the lowest scoring films on my Letterboxd.
Jumbo (2020)
Tumblr media
This movie is very French, and if you've watched enough French movies then you will know exactly what I mean by this. Without spoiling the plot too much, this is about a young woman who falls in love with a fairground ride. Very French core. You'll have to watch the rest of the movie to find out how that romance goes. This was given a 4 star rating.
American Psycho (2000)
Tumblr media
Do I like this movie or do I just like all the memes that have come with this movie? In terms of a fairly recent cult classic, this is the correct type of movie, but I was even more surprised to learn that the Reddit dreamboat character doesn't own any branded knives, despite the amount of money he has. I rated this a solid 3.5 stars. Solid, like the film plot.
Norbit (2007)
Tumblr media
I don't understand why there are so many copies of this movie on the shelves of CEX, it's a bit of an underrated masterpiece really. Put the heroin chic style fatshaming jokes aside, I actually find some of it pretty funny. Mostly the church scene at the end. Rated this 5 stars because I would buy every copy on the shelves.
Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992)
Tumblr media
As far as a pre-origin story goes to the original show, I think this really hits the nail on the head. It's not the story that we wanted, it's the story we needed. The random appearance from David Bowie was a bit out of this world, like the whole movie. Though I think I need to finish watching The Return and then come back to this movie so everything starts to make a little bit more sense. A solid 3 star rating, though it'll probably go up the next time I've seen it.
Macross: Do You Remember Love? (1984)
Tumblr media
Another movie that is based on a narrative from a TV show, except you don't need to watch the show to go straight on to the movie. If you're a fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion and you're feeling a little bit feminine then this is the thing for you. Space girl sings and space things happen. Another 3 star rating.
Paul (2011)
Tumblr media
My Letterboxd review reads; 'they did something. i'm not sure what,,, but they did something' and I think that's all I need to say about whether or not I recommend this. 2 stars.
Boiling Point (2021)
Tumblr media
If you're British and you've ever worked in hospitality then this is the film that you'll just get. I loved this film. Angry swearing man, lots of people doing gear and an absolute shitshow from start to finish. Gave this a hard 4.5 stars and would recommend to anyone.
The Love Witch (2016)
Tumblr media
Aesthetically wise, this has to be one of the nicest movies out there. Taking lots of inspiration from the 60s both in looks and also the overall vibe of the movie. The problem being, the plot feels a little bit empty. It's wonderful in terms of how feminist it is, but that's really all it has going for it. Another solid 3 star film.
The Gentlemen (2019)
Tumblr media
I was minding my own business popping into the coffee shop I always go to on my days off when Raz asked me what my favourite film was at the moment; he then proceeded to lecture me because I hadn't seen this and sent me home as homework to watch it. I did. I'll tell you what, it was so worth it. The cast line up is incredible and the plot is just as solid. Proper man film full of classic laughs. Loved it. Gave it a nice 3.5 star rating.
Decision To Leave (2022)
Tumblr media
This was the film that I'd told Raz was my favourite at the time. I'd just gone to see it in the cinema and it was just as dark and gripping as I would expect it to be. The subplot aligns with the main plot wonderfully to create a rather depressing ending. 4 stars.
The Interview (2014)
Tumblr media
It's a Seth Rogan movie, you probably know how this one is going to go. I used to really like this film a good few years ago, but watching it back this year, I realised the only funny part was Kim Jong-Un riding around to Fireworks in his tank. I gave this a three star rating which is probably a little bit too nice.
Starstruck (2010)
Tumblr media
Imagine you're the dude that played Chad Dylan Cooper on Sonny With a Chance and Disney asked you to play some blonde heartthrob dude for an upcoming tween movie they had in mind. This was the end result. The soundtrack features some bangers and the whole film is just full of feelgood vibes. Can't really go wrong here. I rated it 2.5 stars purely based on it being a Disney movie. The plot isn't great, but boy is it fun.
Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
Tumblr media
The easiest way to explain this movie is that it's an Adult Swim classic except it has nothing to do with Adult Swim. Slapstick humour, autism and bad dancing all curate the wonderful comic masterpiece that is Napoleon Dynamite. Remember to vote for Pedro. 4 stars.
Suspiria (1977)
Tumblr media
What I really love about this film is that it really doesn't make much sense at all. In fact, it's one of those films that didn't need to be made, but I'm really glad it did. It mixes really bad sound editing so you can't hear what anyone is saying and when you can hear the actors speak, it's because they've dubbed over the original lines because when it was filmed you couldn't hear what they were saying. The colours and the overall setting is magical and insane and for that reason I loved this movie. 4 and a half stars for a pioneering woman horror classic.
Her (2013)
Tumblr media
The Joker falls in love with robot lady, or the infamous Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson). Except this is a very heartfelt story and might actually leave a tear in your eye after watching. Feels like watching a sappy episode of Black Mirror. I rated this 4 stars because I loved the movie enough to buy a physical copy of it.
The Tinder Swindler (2022)
Tumblr media
I mean yeah that happened. The only reason I watched this was because Don't Fuck With Cats was made so well,,,, I was left majorly whelmed by this documentary. I gave this three stars for pity on all the lovely ladies he swindled. (don't even think this counts as a movie really).
Contagion (2011)
Tumblr media
This movie was far too ahead of its time to be made. I don't need to explain the synopsis to this movie because we already lived through it. My grandma hated living through covid, but she sure loved watching this movie. 4 stars.
The Worst Person In The World (2021)
Tumblr media
Just wanted to ask which one of the three main characters was the worst person in the world because they were all equally as bad as each other. I rated this 5 stars and I think if you haven't watched this already, then you should.
Little Joe (2019)
Tumblr media
Little Joe could have been one of the most interesting films in the world if the director had decided to not ensure most of the film was just filler. This felt like it was a good 40 minutes too long and literally nothing happened for the last hour. The concept of this film is really cool, but it is like watching a really shit episode of Black Mirror, I rated this 2.5 stars.
The Pacifier (2005)
Tumblr media
If you've ever thought about the idea of having Vin Diesel as your personal home counsellor then you've come to the right place. There's lots of scenes of this man both screaming and also saving lives. It's a movie you can both laugh to and also have on as background noise while you take a nap. 4 stars.
In Bruges (2008)
Tumblr media
They're filming midgets. 4 stars for the midgets being filmed.
Borat (2006)
Tumblr media
Made during the days where Sacha Baron Cohen was still pretty funny and not just using any form of slightly racist joke to make a person laugh. Borat sometimes almost feels like a loveable character. Bonus points for Pamela Anderson as Pamela Anderson. 3 stars.
Personal Shopper (2016)
Tumblr media
This film feels like Kristen Stewart begging you to watch her in a movie that isn't Twilight to prove to you that she can act and that she has more than one facial expression. As it turns out, she still only has one facial expression and I find it hard to feel any form of emotion to her character at any point. I gave this a friendly three stars.
Bratz: Fashion Pixiez (2007)
Tumblr media
Did anyone ever notice in the film that Cymbeline's dad was pretty much the same model as Fiona's dad in Shrek? I bet you didn't. Now you'll have to rewatch the film again to find that. As far as mid goes, this is the most mid Bratz film out there, the only cool thing is their outfits and that is why it was given a 5 star rating. Vibes only.
Zoolander (2001)
Tumblr media
I'll be real with you here. This is not the movie I expected to be writing about, this movie is the last minute thrill of the year. The whole year, my TikTok has been graced with videos of Patrick Bateman with the sigma male captions underneath them, until about literally 5 days ago. My fyp plagued with that one clip of Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson pouting at each other on the red carpet. I knew I had to go back and watch the film. This is a break the scale rating of a film honestly. So many random people in it. George Costanzas dad, Paris Hilton and ,,,, David Bowie. Loved this.
Death Becomes Her (1992)
Tumblr media
This film has got to be one of the most camp films out there, When I decided to watch this film, the plot was something I was not expecting at all, but boy were they all so real for this. Humour and discussion of women and their insecurities all perfectly blended into one. My Letterboxd review reads, 'this film made me cut my ingrown chin hair off, thanks Meryl Streep' and if that doesn't convince you to watch the film, then I don't know what will.
Well there you have it. I think this list is a perfect compilation of movies. Ones for the family, movies to scream to, movies to fall asleep to. But most of all, no matter what happens this Christmas, there is at least one movie in this list that will match the exact vibe of how it went with your family. And finally, as Gossip Girl says,,,, have a happy jolly holiday. Xoxo, Gossip Girl.

hello 🌻 so I'm kinda new to thai bl, since my tl started going crazy. I saw the discussion under your recent video, I gathered you know things, so I was wondering who is the director you've mentioned and why people are going insane on twitter. or is it not common getting projects so close to each other?
Lol yeah I see lately more and more western fans are joining the madness, can't really tell if its good or nah, cause its totally not the safe place for "unproblematic purists", but we'll see how it goes xD
Oi, I’ll try to do this somewhat shortly, don’t hit me if I’m bad at expalining haha. Tee is most known for directing "Tharntype" and "Lovely writer", Aof directed "1000 stars", "Dark Blue Kiss"… "Bad Buddy". In the world of thai BL, they fall into a category of a very high quality ones, that fans love.
Long story short like we know that directors as it is everywhere play one of the most important parts, but when it comes to thai lakorns it basically can determine not only the quality of the shooting and the whole tone of the creation, but also the quality of the portrayal of the relationships/closeness etc. They in most cases decide everything up to the intimacy scenes and it's even up to them to say "do korean dramas fish kiss bc thats how I see it" (here's the fun fact about thai bl actors/directors for you, sometimes actors themselves don't wanna kiss normally, sometimes directors don't allow actors who wanna kiss normally to kiss normally). It's also their vision that decides how to twist the character and turn him into a complete opposite from the original material kind etc. They just literally hold everything in the hands most of the times, including scripts.
So fans already kinda split directors into categories who either make the original material worse than it is and fail to guide the actors into the right direction and those who can make a candy out of basics by bringing out the best in both the original material and actors.
That being said the two cookies right now due to the fact that they stole everyone's hearts and fired up everyone even just with looks + the fact that they want to keep doing bl together and having too much fun with it are now there basically the perfect snatch.
So the fact that P'Tee is doing a workshop with them already and both of the best directors want them and some famous screenwriters there too, means that they see a huge potential in them. And for fans it means that they can have quality content with their faves.
To describe their vibe/type of directing, I mean, it's different depending on the story for sure, but it's very I'd say.. natural. There won't be any "we're in a relationships but don't touch me" stuff or other "old classic intimacy cringe" you'd see in many lakorns. And when it comes to Tee, he has this great balance between tasteful steamy with all the emotions you need, which is also lacking these days.
So I yelled a bit too, I really was rooting for someone to see the beauty, but aparently everyone did, so it's all good. Good luck to them.
As for the last part. It's definitely not common, but getting projects so close to each other happened before. For example, Earthmix have two bl dramas coming out this year and short movies along with it too (that without counting all of their entertainment shows). What's not common is for P'Tee to grab on GMM actors so fast, but I don't blame anyone in this situation haha.
Hope, I explained it somewhat okay, sorry if its clumsy, it’s a bit hard to explain, depends on how new you are and what you’ve watched so far <3

Home Sweet Home 🏠
So this is it, the final level. I adored this level as a child - well, watching my dad play it at least. It was always stuck in the back of my head that this level was a “bonus” level for getting all of the secrets, it was what I used to think constantly and I continued to think that to this day. So you can possibly guess my surprise when this level popped up all of a sudden because I knew for a fact I missed a few secrets. But this was a nice level, it truly added to the story.
We begin in Lara’s house with her admiring her newest addition to the collection. She’s sat on her bed by (what I suspect to be) a nice toasty fire and then the nice times are ruined. Even from beyond the grave, Bartoli seems to follow us everywhere as his men have broken onto the estate, their cars pulling up in the long driveway. I thought the instant this happened, I could perhaps use the dagger, I mean, it seems like a wild chance but a great opportunity, a bit sad we didn’t see a Croft Dragon, but nonetheless, we would try to get rid of the last few who continued to pursue to treasure.
Before we did so though, I went downstairs to the main hall, which was at one point the training room, and would press the button for some music. Oh, how I have missed this music. It was from the Venice levels, oh Venice Violins, it was absolutely perfect for taking down some people and drowning out the eerie silence. It did make the task of finding people more difficult, sure, because now I had to really listen for the footsteps, but I will not deny that I enjoyed the music. I don’t honestly understand how I found it, I was literally just running around the house to try and find some people as they had scattered absolutely everywhere when I came across the button. And I’m ever so happy that I did!
It was a pretty easy level overall, wasn’t too bad at all to deal with, though me using a shotgun? That had to be the worst part purely because I am useless with the shotgun in these games. My aim with them are shocking and it always will be. There was a lot of darkness, purely because it was night time and we managed to get some outdoors-time with this level. This was pretty much the only level where I had flares, or at least enough flares to survive. I kid you not, I was so happy when I picked them up in the weaponry cupboard. I managed to survive the darkness outside with the help of some flares and with the help of my mum pointing out the enemies that I couldn’t see. Then we were up against the last guy, the one whom we have met before in the opera house and he had unfinished business with us. Either that or it’s his twin brother. Either way, it was take two on the fight and I have never cheered so much when I have beaten an enemy. He wasn’t difficult to deal with, it just felt like the perfect wrap-up. The last grunt to finish the job that his boss had left him to do, and we foiled it yet again. Ah, the joys.
After it all, it was the final cutscene, or better yet, the famous cutscene. We all know this cutscene too well as it was one that broke the third wall. After you have been shot for being a nosy pervert, in roll the final credits and oh my god, I never fell in love more with a game. It had been a long journey and terribly long from the looks of the final stats. Oh, how @jaybird1306 would be ashamed of me for not collecting them all! But I am happy with all of this, I wasn’t aiming for a full secrets run or anything, this was more of a trip down memory lane game for me and I have fallen in love with every minute of it.
Final Overview
This game is my childhood, and coming back to it was an absolute pleasure. It really sparked some memories for me of times when I would watch my dad play it in my childhood home. He would sit at the computer and I would watch in awe, sometimes running around and unable to sit still, sometimes even copying some of the moves Lara did in-game because I just adored her. This was the game which started my absolute adoration for such a video game icon and Queen. I have absolutely fallen in love again and I highly doubt it will stop any time soon. Now, for some of the features I loves the most.
The use of darkness. It was absolutely phenomenal, especially in the later levels such as the China levels and some of the underwater levels, as much as I don’t want to remember them ones specifically. But that draw distance truly made each level seem much bigger than it was, it also made you wary of what could be in front of you and to think before you act, something I rarely did to be honest. But as I mentioned before, the way they used it in levels such as China, more specifically the Floating Islands, was incredible. I was basically wary of every step and it made you fear the darkness all around you. It gave you a sense of the void and the unknown, a constant theme which I enjoyed greatly.
The use of sound. Oh god the sound and the music, I could honestly gush over it all day. Music truly makes the game and although all games have music, none have struck me as hard as this game did. Right from the menu screen alone, it struck a cord with me. It was beautiful and I almost found myself humming just the menu tune by itself just whilst I was at work or doing chores around the house. They have always impressed me with their timing for sounds or music. The use of silence was just as good as well as they keep you on end when there is utter silence. And then, all of a sudden, BAM, you are hit with some intense music and you have no idea why or what because whatever it is is still in that darkness! It’s just great, it even makes these games seem very thriller-esque with the jumpscares (at least in my eyes) that the music produces.
The graphics and colour palettes. Bring it all back in because I’m about to gush some more. I adore colour palettes and the contrasts they used in the levels, more specifically, as everyone may know, I adored the colours they used in the Temple of Xian, the Tibet levels and lastly, the underwater levels. Although I did not like the underwater levels, the colours used absolutely caught my heart, the contrasting colours made my heart leap a little. The bright colours of the Temple of Xian level was beautiful as well, they were so fancy and beautiful, much like the colours used in the Barkhang Monastery and they started to introduce to us in the Ice Palace and the Catacombs of the Talion. The snowy peaks of the Foothills though were just as nice, although bright on the eyes, they certainly used it as a way to hinder your view of particular enemies or even rolling boulders. Although the graphics, as some would say, are quite outdated, I enjoyed the blocky graphics. They helped to give me a better idea of what to do and where to go, to become more calculated with my jumps and actions to take. It may also just be me having a moment and being a bit biased, but I adore these graphics. They are perfect to me. Although I do enjoy a lot more realistic graphics for games, the ones for these games were just perfect to me. The graphics suited the game itself and I understand they will change over time the more I progress, but I believe I will still fall in love with these graphics time and time again.
Lastly is the story. As a child, I took not much notice to the story, but replaying it now, I have started to understand the story a bit more. It is beautifully written and is clear, so long as you pay attention to cutscenes or any sort of dialogue, which I made the mistake of missing during the diving area, but nonetheless, I watched back the scene and was able to catch up to understand properly what was happening and why we were collecting particular relics and items. The enemy himself, Marco Bartoli, was a formidable foe, continuously sending enemies to cover his tracks but sadly, he made it too obvious for us to follow after and foil his plans. He was a very interesting villain, and he got his wish in the end, to become the dragon of his dreams. Just bad timing on his part that we were also aiming for the dagger at the same time. But the story was fun to watch unfold and was, in all honesty, quite new to me, bearing in mind, I thought it all as just a “shoot-em-up”, adventure game. How naive I was as a child, but at least now, I properly understand it all.
This game has certainly left its mark on me and I’m glad it did. It got my mum more involved as she told me what she thought I'd need to do whenever I was stuck. My dad, on the other hand, would only chip in with comments such as "that's not how you do that" and then would quickly try to go back to his little cat nap afterwards. Two completely different types of help, one more so than the other. But overall, I have enjoyed this game and I hope you guys have enjoyed watching me play it as well, or at least have enjoyed hearing my thoughts, opinions and what I encountered. This has been Tomb Raider 2, and this ends the chapter on my favourite Tomb Raider game, whether that changes though is another story. But we’ll have to see. I will now begin playing the third instalment and boy, we are starting with a clean slate this time because I barely know anything on this game, save for the first level (which I never finished) and a couple of cutscenes. Otherwise, we are about to trek into new territory and I hope to write about the next game to come. Now I leave you all with a song and want to thank you all for joining me on this bumpy ride! See you all on the next one!

Duke Reviews: Pinocchio
Hello, I'm Andrew Leduc And Welcome To Duke Reviews, Where We're Continuing Our Look At Disney...
youtube
Where Today We Look At Walt Disney's Second Animated Feature, Pinocchio...
This Film Is About An Old Wood-Carver Named Geppetto Who Carves A Wooden Puppet Named Pinocchio Who Is Brought To Life By A Blue Fairy Who Informs Him That In Order To Become A Real Boy, He Must Prove Himself To Be Brave, Truthful And Unselfish...
Will Pinocchio Succeed In His Quest?
Let's Find Out As We Watch Pinocchio...
We Open With When You Wish Upon A Star As The Credits Roll, Eventually Ending We See Jiminy Cricket Finishing Up The Song As He Sits On A Bookshelf...
And Honestly, Who Doesn't Like This Song?
It's Basically One Of The Top 2 Songs You Immediately Think Of When You Hear The Word "Disney" (With The Other Being A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes From Cinderella)...
However, Lately It's Been Brought Into Question By People Who Believe It Promotes Laziness And A Lying Belief That Everything Will Be Okay If You Believe Hard Enough, But I Honestly Think That People Like That Never Had A Childhood Or Has Never Thought Like A Child In Their Adult Lives...
Also I'd Be Crazy To Not Point Out That As Jiminy Is Singing The Last Words Of When You Wish Upon A Star, You Should Also Notice That The 2 Books Alongside The Pinocchio Book Are Peter Pan And Alice In Wonderland, 2 Other Stories That Would Later Become Disney Animated Movies...
Introducing Himself, Jiminy Acknowledges That Many May Not Believe That A Wish Can Come True, Which Leads Him To Tell Us The Story Of Pinocchio As He Gets Off The Bookshelf To Open The Book...
Saying That One Night, Jiminy's Travels Through A Quaint Little Village Where He Took Up Shelter In The Workshop Of A Wood-Carver Named Geppetto, Who Carved Dozens Of Toys, Clocks, Music Boxes And Puppets...
Hearing Geppetto Enter With His Cat, Figaro, Jiminy Hides As He Works On A Marionette After Greeting His Goldfish, Cleo. Painting A Face On The Marionette, He Names Him Pinocchio And Tests Him Out By Walking Him Around The Workshop While Playing Music...
youtube
And While It's Really Not A Song, I Actually Enjoy This Scene And The Marionette's Interactions With Figaro And Cleo Are Pretty Cute...
With The Clocks Indicating It's 9 O'Clock (In A Scene Which Shows Some Of The Elaborate Clocks In The Workshop (Some Interesting, Others Slightly Offensive) Geppetto And Figaro Get Ready For Bed...
But Before Going To Sleep, Geppetto Wishes Upon The Wishing Star That Pinocchio Would Become A Real Boy, With The Star Growing Brighter And Closer To The Workshop, It Eventually Arrives And Transforms Into The Blue Fairy, Who Grants Geppetto His Wish And Brings Pinocchio To Life...
However, The Fairy Informs Pinocchio That The Task Of Granting The Rest Of Geppetto's Wish Is On His Hands, Saying That He Must Prove Himself Brave, Truthful And Unselfish In Order To Become A Real Boy And Also Know The Difference Between Right And Wrong...
But Unable To Know It As...
Well, One Of The Complaints People Have In This Movie Is That Pinocchio Is A Little Dumb And Yes, Even I'll Admit He Is A Little Dumb But It's A Naive Type Of Dumb So I'll Let It Go..
Anyway, Unable To Know, Jiminy Tries To Explain To Pinocchio The Idea Of A Conscience Which Leads The Blue Fairy To Ask Jiminy To Become Pinocchio's Conscience. Agreeing To, The Blue Fairy Dubs Him As So, Before Taking Off...
Though Unsuccessful At First, Jiminy Tries To Explain The Concept Of Right And Wrong And Tells Pinocchio That He Wants To Do Right, Which Leads Into Our Next Song, Give A Little Whistle...
youtube
But As Pinocchio Joins In, He Wakes Up Geppetto, Figaro And Cleo Who Discover That Pinocchio Is Alive And That If He's Brave, True And Unselfish He'll Be A Real Boy, Which Leads Geppetto To Celebrate With His Music Boxes...
Tell You The Truth, I've Always Wondered What Geppetto's Neighbors Thought About All The Music Boxes Playing At 3Am At Night?
But When Pinocchio Sets Finger On Fire, The Party's Over And They Go To Bed...
The Next Day, The Village Is Alive With Boys And Girls Going To School, With Pinocchio Going With Them..
Seriously, If Can Ask How Did Geppetto Enroll Pinocchio In School After Only Having Him For One Night?...
But As He Goes To School, He "Befriends" A Cat Named Gideon And A Fox Named Honest John Who Tells Him That He Is Just The Type To Become An Actor Which Leads Into Our Next Song...
youtube
And I Honestly Like The Tune As It's Very Catchy...
Late On His First Day, Jiminy Tells Pinocchio Not To Listen To Honest John, But Pinocchio Ignores Him And Goes Off With Honest John And Gideon While Jiminy Follows...
Taking Pinocchio To Stromboli's Caravan, He Buys The Puppet Off Of Honest John And Makes Him His Star Attraction That Night As Jiminy Watches From The Audience As Our Next Song Starts...
youtube
And What Can I Say About This Song Except That It's A Great Song, In Fact It's So Good Even Ultron Likes It...
youtube
Becoming A Smash Hit, Jiminy Realizes That Maybe He Was Wrong And Decides To Let Pinocchio Go On Without Him...
Meanwhile At Geppetto's Shop, He Worries About His Wooden Boy And Goes Off To Look For Him While In Stromboli's Caravan After The Show, He Congratulates Pinocchio On A Successful Show...
But Wanting To Go Home To His Father, Stromboli Throws Pinocchio In A Cage And Declares That He Will Stay In There As They Tour The World And When Pinocchio Gets Too Old He'll Chop Him Into Firewood...
Tumblr media
Calling Out To Jiminy For Help, He Eventually Shows When He Goes To Say Goodbye To Pinocchio. Attempting To Get Him Out Of The Cage Proves Impossible As It's An Old Lock And He Can't Unlock It...
Feeling Sorry For Themselves By Crying, Their Worries Grow Bigger When The Blue Fairy Shows Up...
youtube
(End At 1:39)
Freeing Them And Returning Pinocchio's Nose To Normal, They Sneak Out Stromboli's Van Before Heading For Home...
Celebrating At Red Lobster...
May As Well Call It That As It's Called The Red Lobster Inn...
Honest John And Gideon Meet With A Coachman Who Will Give Them A Huge Bag Of Money If They Bring Him Stupid Little Boys For Him To Take To Pleasure Island, Though Honest John Is Worried About Getting Caught At First, He Eventually Accepts...
Running Into Pinocchio, Who Is On His Way Home, Honest John And Gideon Pretend To Be Doctors Who State That He's Allergic...
Allergic To What?!?
They Don't Really Say But Either Way They Say That He Needs A Vacation And Must Go To Pleasure Island To Get Better Which Leads Jiminy To Go After Him...
Once On Board The Coachman's Coach, Pinocchio Meets A Boy Named Lampwick...
Who I Honestly Love...
Seriously I Love His Character Design So Much I Wanted To Meet Lampwick At The Park And Take A Picture With Him...
Tumblr media
And I Knew He Was In The Parks As For A Time They Had Him And Pinocchio In The Main Street Electrical Parade...
However, Every Time We Went He Was Never Out And Eventually He Became One Of The Characters That Was Taken Out Of The Park And It Made Me Sad As I Knew I Would Never Get That Picture...
And Ever Since It Has Been My One Disneyland Childhood Regret...
But Enough With Childhood Regrets, Let's Move On..

And That's Pinocchio And I Honestly Love It...
The Story Is Great, I Love The Characters And While There's No Real Bad Guy (I Guess Since Honest John, Gideon And Stromboli Are In The Parks At Times You Could Classify Them As The Bad Guys But Still) I Absolutely Enjoy It...
However Looking Back At It Now And Watching The Nostalgia Critic's Disneycember Review Of It I Do Have Some Questions Some I Asked During The Review Others But This One I Seriously Agree With The Nostalgia Critic On Is What Happened To The Boys On Pleasure Island Did They Just Stay There Forever? Or Did Pinocchio Rat Out The Coachman's Operation?
Either Way I Feel Something Should Have Happened...
But Still It's A Good Film And I Say See It...
