I’m gonna list a couple of simple and probably obvious things that helped me through ys when I played (heads up: panty shots are frequently bought up in this and it's also a pretty long post):
You can take panty shots through the wall if you stand right outside of a classroom next to a girl and facing her then sneak a shot. I'd reccomend to do this while everyone sits in class doing nothing before class starts. You can also take shots through the outside walls as to get the girls furthest from the door, but that's only for the 1st floor.
Killing student council is easy if you make them discover a body (just hope it doesn’t bug out and they just immediately stand next to it) and wrap the corpse up before they get back. When they start walking around sadly, they most likely won’t notice your footsteps, but don't bump into them or they'll go back to normal.
Killing Osana with poison is the easiest way to go as long as you’re oke with getting rid of Hana and Kashiko early on since you can’t poison bento while they watch. Or you could lure them out of the room, but I prefer killing them for now.
A Baseball bat or Shovel are good weapons to use without getting noticed depending if you like the sports or gardening club more. You just gotta keep everyone in their clubs alive until you don't need them anymore (idk if you can hold the props in the drama club even if you're in the drama club)
Trash bags. Not much else I can say here.
Those striped panties that you can buy from the lingerie store are useful (apologies up) just try not to get caught by the bullies when doing anything because they just mess it up.
REMEMBER to put the bucket with bleach water and mop next to where you plan to kill people with something that will leave blood. I've made that mistake many, many times.
I'd just say to laugh outside of the teacher's lounge as to not get caught stealing something by the gym teacher (luring her out)
If sneaking shots is too hard, wait for the girl to walk past you.
Student council don't let you stand still while they walk past you and will push you away even if you just stand still.
Try not to cut corners while holding knives, running into a student council with a knife out will ruin your day.
(This ones just a reminder) You can place bugs in the girls' locker room, under the table in the meeting room, under the desk in the StuCo room, under the chemistry table in the science club, next to the delinquents, in the teacher's lounge, on the rooftop where Osana talks to Raibaru (aka where you push people off), and in the headmaster's office under his desk. Idk where or if there are any others but let me know if there are and I'll add them. Btw from what I've seen, they disappear each day.
Take a picture of Taro, Osana, and Raibaru just in case (Raibaru isn't necessary) Taro is for speeding up time and the other two are for tagging in case you lose them.
If you're going to do Budo's task, you have to help his club-mates first. They all have the book task so I'd recommend to talk tk one of them and get their task, then get a book and rinse and repeat. Budo's task bugs out a whole lot when you need to talk to Raibaru though. (that or the times the two of you could talk have changed)
The occult club is probably the easiest club to kill since when you kill someone in front of them, they beg for their life for a second and then run. I'd say to kill Shin first though because he'll immediately get a teacher.
You can easily kill all of the bullies and sports club during lunch if you have a bat and trash bags. Or just normal stabby stabs and a bucket and mop. As long as you make sure to walk up behind them for both before killing them so they don't immediately apprehend you or fight you (also make sure to kill them behind the bush by luring them with a giggle or the radio). The bullies are easy if not all are there since there would only be three, but idk if Hana and Kashiko go to the pool during lunch on day one.
If you didn't get shots of all the gardening club girls, then just take sneak shots while standing behind them during lunch, none of them will notice you as far as I know. The pink arrow may start to appear but I don't think they will fully notice.
I think taking pictures of students also give you points.
I think the people who will attack you if you kill their friend/family member in front of them are Kokona with Saki, Saki with Kokona, Riku with Kokona, Pippi with Ryuto, Ryuto with Pippi, Kyuji with Osana, Sakyu with Inkyu, and Inkyu with Sakyu. Oh, and everyone in the photography club if you kill another photography club member. Fred will attack you no matter who you kill I think.
I might rb with more info if I think of any, but I hope what I have so far helps anyone struggling. Feel free to add on.

Do you think Ali and Ash will make the Olympic roster? ANd do you think the CONCACAF tournament is structured in a way that will make it hard for us to qualify? I’m a new USWNT fan, I became a fan before the WWC because I found woso fanfics (yours included) so I don’t know a lot about soccer but I’ve somehow become I diehard USWNT and NWSL follower
Hi there.  Welcome to woso!  That’s women’s soccer, just in case you don’t know that yet.  lol.  First of all, thank you for reading the story.  I appreciate it very much.  :)
Now to your soccer questions… I’ll take the easier of the two first.  I think the CONCACAF tournament is as good as it’s gonna get anytime soon.  CONCACAF is probably just as corrupt as the rest of the FIFA, etc.  But, in general, I think it’s a fair tournament and the USWNT should have no problem qualifying for the Olympics.  But you never know.  I think it was before 2012 Olympics (or maybe 2011 World Cup??) when the USWNT lost to Mexico and almost didn’t qualify!  So you just never know.  But there’s absolutely no reason the team shouldn’t win the CONCACAF tournament.  They’ll certainly at least come in 2nd place and still qualify.
Whether or not Ali and Ashlyn make the Olympic roster is a much more difficult question.  I believe with all my heart that the team is better with them both on it.  They’re excellent players who could both still start (in my opinion anyway), and even more importantly, they’re experienced veterans who know what it’s like to play and win on the biggest stages.  They were also both part of the 2016 Olympic team (Ashlyn was one of the alternates and Ali made her first Olympic squad ever - she missed the 2012 squad because of her knee injury) and I think it’s important to bring many of those players back so they will give it everything they’ve got to erase the embarrassment of their worst finish ever in Rio.  I’m hoping Ashlyn will get an official spot this time around because I believe she deserves it.  I personally think she’s a better keeper than Alyssa but I know most people disagree.  I watched Alyssa when she was with the Boston Breakers and she’s a great keeper, but she’s not nearly vocal or bossy enough back there.  She never has been and I don’t think she ever will be.  It’s just not in her DNA.  Her timidity back there is why a lot of the miscommunications happen along the backline.  It’s Alyssa’s job to tell them all exactly what to do.  Anyway, I digress.  Ashlyn should make the team as the 2nd keeper because she’s the only one with any true leadership skills.  You’ll notice that most of the time Jill Ellis tried some crazy grouping of newbies on the backline over the past 2-3 years she had Ashlyn in goal.  Alyssa almost always gets the best and most experienced defenders on her backlines.  This is certainly not always the case, but it does happen more often than not.  So I think Ashlyn should make the Olympic roster.  It’ll be her first time and I’ll be super stoked for her.
I also think Ali should make the squad.  She’s certainly good enough to play on that backline.  She more than proved that at the World Cup.  All the horseshit US Soccer and Jill Ellis tried to feed everybody about how old and slow Kriegs was over the past 2-½ years was exposed as exactly that - horseshit.  I think Ali is a better outside back than Sonnett and Davidson (and Purce for that matter too).  I think Crystal Dunn did a fabulous job at LB at the WC and I think Casey Short would be a great backup for her.  I think Kelley O’Hara is the starter at RB and nobody is going to change that.  US Soccer markets her like crazy and I just don’t see anybody taking that spot from her.  I still think Ali is a better defender than KO, all day every day.  But I agree that KO is a better offensive player than Ali is.  It depends on what the coach is looking for.  It’s just that simple.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Ali was the first and only defender off the bench in the biggest games in the World Cup.  That says it all right there really.  Why would you not bring her to the Olympics with you too?  Also, on a side note, I think Kelley’s too aggressive and reckless to be a starting defender.  I feel the same way about Sonnett too.  You shouldn’t have to worry about your defenders getting yellow cards.  You want your defenders to be solid back there and tough, no doubt, but you have to be able to rely on them for the full 90.  And if a player has to change the way they’re playing the game to avoid getting a second yellow card and leaving the team down to 10 players, then that’s a problem.  That’s just my take on defense in general.  Ali plays tough, physical, aggressive defense - that’s what attracted me to her in the very first place back in 2011 at that World Cup.  But she rarely commits a foul and hardly ever gets a card.  That’s how I like my defenders.  But that’s just me.  Another good thing for Ali is that she can play Center Back too.  She’s played CB quite often for the Pride in the NWSL over the past couple of years and she does a really good job of it.  A lot of people assume it’s because she was too slow and old to play RB anymore.  But that’s simply not the case.  Tom Sermanni moved her to CB because she was easily the best defender on the team and he wanted her in a more centralized position so she could help more on defense and so she could lead and command more from that centralized position.  She’s also really fast and he wanted her to play there in CB because the other CBs on the team were kind of slow.  Zadorsky isn’t slow though, but she wasn’t there when Sermanni made the move.  We all know how dynamic Ali can be from that RB position and she still sends in some of the best crosses in the game, NWSL or USWNT.  If the Pride ever get a decent backline again, Ali might move back to RB where she truly excels.
The point is, she can play multiple roles along the backline and that’s a big asset for her when it comes to making the Olympic roster.  Instead of taking 23 players (20 field players and 3 keepers) like we do for the World Cup, we only get to take 18 players to the Olympics.  16 field players and 2 keepers.  Nobody knows what Vlatko’s going to do because he’s too new to get a feel for yet, but making the Olympic roster is one of the hardest things to do for the USWNT players.  Theoretically, you could take the WC roster and eliminate 1 keeper and 4 field players and you’d be all set.  But that alone is a difficult task.  Add to that the players who just missed the cut for the WC, like Casey Short, and the decision gets even harder to make.  Players like Julie Ertz and Crystal Dunn and Ali Krieger who can play multiple positions become very valuable now.
And for God’s sake, everybody has to be healthy!!  Ellis screwed up big time in 2016 by bringing Megan Rapinoe who wasn’t ready to come back after her torn ACL.  It was ridiculous.  I love Pinoe - I truly do.  But she wasn’t healthy and shouldn’t have taken up a roster spot.  I hope Vlatko doesn’t do the same thing with Alex Morgan after she has her baby.  I love Morgan too, more than most people do, and I think she makes the team better just by being on the field and keeping the defense honest so the other players have room to do their thing and score goals.  I think Morgan is one of the most selfless strikers I’ve ever seen and she gets crap for it all the time.  The stats don’t show it but she changes the game just by being out there and keeping defenders busy and opening up space and setting plays up.  She’ll never get the credit she deserves for that either.  Anyway, I love her ok?  But if she’s not 100% then I don’t want her on the team.  Period.  End of story.  I know Sydney Leroux just came back after giving birth and played in the NWSL 3 months afrer having her daughter, but ask Syd how she did after having her first baby?  Syd was able to do that because she knew what her body needed after pregnancy beause she’d done it already before.  Morgan is an amazing athlete and I’ll be thrilled for her if she can do it, but I also don’t want her to try so hard either.  You just had your first baby.  Relax and enjoy it.  You’ve already got an Olympic gold medal, you know?  Here’s another advantage for Ali Krieger - Kelley O’Hara is injury-prone and can’t stay healthy these days.  That’s a big risk to take with you into the Olympics.  We’re gonna need a really good backup for her.  Ali Krieger.
So this is a whole lot of words to say I don’t know if Ali or Ashlyn will make the Olympic roster.  They both deserve to be there.  I think the team will benefit greatly from having them both there.  But we’re just gonna have to wait and see what Vlatko does.
Here’s what I think I’d like to see for my Olympic roster:
Strikers/Wingers: Rapinoe, Heath, Press,  Lloyd, Pugh
MF: Lavelle, Ertz, Horan, Mewis, Brian
D: Dunn, Sauerbrunn, Dahlkemper, O’Hara, Krieger, Short
GK: Naeher, Harris
cut from WC roster: Franch, Sonnett, Davidson, Long, MacDonald, Morgan (I know this is 6 players, but I put Casey Short into the roster instead of Sonnett)
Morgan Brian has been playing really well lately so I think I’d take her instead of Allie Long right now.  I personally don’t like Pugh very much - I don’t think she’s improved at all since she started playing with the team in 2105/2016.  I honestly would take MacDonald over Pugh but that’ll never happen in a million years.  And I really like Tierna Davidson a lot.  I like her much better at CB and I would seriously consider taking her over Dahlkemper because I’m not a huge Dahlkemper fan to begin wtih.  But, again, that’ll never happen.  Although who knows?  Jill Ellis got rid of Ali Krieger for less reason so who the hell knows?  I like bringing 6 defenders because Crystal Dunn could slide up into MF or Forward if necessary during the Olympics.  She’s the ultimate utility player who can kick ass on any line on the pitch.  Legitimately.  And I don’t like when they move JJ back to CB because she’s so good at that holding midfield spot.  The team plays totally differently when she’s not in midfield (they play worse).  So take 6 defenders.  Keep JJ at MF and move Crystal around if injuries happen and we need another body up top for some reason.
There.  I’m done.  I’ll stop now.  Aren’t you sorry you asked?  lol

10 Fantasy Thoughts: Is Cooper Kupp your 2021 fantasy saviour?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What a week for individual performances.Derrick Henry and Aaron Jones followed up lacklustre Week 1 performances to win plenty of matchups. Aaron Rodgers did what Aaron Rodgers does with a monster bounce-back performance. Austin Ekeler was used heavily in the passing game with nine catches on nine targets. Just like we all thought. Well, some of us. Week 1 overreactions are almost always followed by a market correction, so maybe keep the hot takes to a low whisper instead of shouting them out to the world. It’s very unbecoming. But hey, if people want to make it known that they think Robert Woods is washed or that Saquon Barkley suddenly became a bad running back, then be sure to seek them out and offer to take those “terrible” players off their hands. Do them that service, take that weight off them on this journey, almost like their Fantasy Sherpa. And then crush them. (All weekly rankings courtesy of Fantasy Data) 1. Cooper Kupp’s revelation I will be the first to say that I thought that the biggest benefactor of Matthew Stafford heading to Los Angeles this off-season would be Robert Woods. Through the first two weeks of the year, it’s becoming apparent that I might be just a little bit off. Kupp has been nothing short of brilliant in the first two weeks, compiling back-to-back top-10 weeks, including the top spot in this week’s finish. He has 21 targets which places him in a tie for fifth among wide receivers, 16 catches (tied for first) and 271 yards (third) with Stafford under centre and occupies a ridiculous 37.5 per cent target share. It feels like every time the Rams get possession that Kupp is going to get an opportunity to score because he constantly looks like he’s wide open. Sean McVay is also unleashing Kupp out wide as opposed to the slot where he’s primarily been deployed from since his rookie year. That percentage of slot snaps has dropped from 73 per cent in his sophomore year in 2018 to 44 per cent through the first two games of 2021. Alpha wide receivers don’t play out of the slot and it seems as though the Rams have found their alpha receiver. Kupp is going to have an off game here and there and I expect Woods is going eat a bit more into Kupp’s target share, but make no mistake about it, Kupp is going to have a monster year. 2. Derek Carr, the unlikely addition to the QB1 group Steady. Decent floor. Capped ceiling. Great second quarterback. Those have been terms used to describe Derek Carr’s fantasy relevance since coming into the league, but we might be seeing him turn a corner and maybe, just maybe, he’s actually as good as we’ve seen in the first two weeks. It’s certainly early in the schedule, but it’s not like Carr has been up against cupcake defences to start. Baltimore’s D has playmakers and the Steelers basically shut down the Bills’ aerial attack in Week 1. He currently leads the league with 817 passing yards and has four touchdowns to one interception, while occupying the QB8 spot. With the Dolphins on the docket next, it looks like another matchup that Carr can exploit, especially considering that this Raiders offence looks like it has some pretty good pass catchers outside of Darren Waller. Henry Ruggs appears ready to take the next step forward after not living up to the rookie hype of being a high first-round pick last year. Hunter Renfrow is a reliable slot receiver and Bryan Edwards has all the tools to become a good receiver at this level. All this while the running game hasn’t been too great and Josh Jacobs is dealing with an injury. Carr is going to have to be on top of his game in the coming weeks as he gets the Chargers, Bears, Broncos and Eagles in the four games following Week 3's Dolphins game. By then, we should have an accurate assessment of where Derek Carr fits into the QB1 conversation. Something tells me that this is for real. 3. The Mike Williams we’ve been waiting for He’s had a 1,000-yard season and a 10-touchdown season, but both did not occur at the same time. We’ve been drawn in by his tantalizing talent and incredible ability go make absurd leaping catches, but we’ve never seen the consistency that warrants a regular spot in your lineup. Enter new Chargers offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi, formerly of the New Orleans Saints, with Williams in a contract year and you've got a recipe for success. Lombardi talked up Williams in the off-season and is using him like he used Michael Thomas with the Saints. Justin Herbert even talked about his skill set and also wanting him to get the ball more. We’re now seeing the fruits of these discussions. Williams is currently the WR5 (tied with Amari Cooper) and has 22 targets in the first two games, parlaying those into 15 catches for 173 yards and two touchdowns. That’s the good stuff right there. I, for one, have been a big proponent of Williams ever since he was drafted out of Clemson and I’ve drafted him basically every year he has been in the league, so this one feels good. 4. Brandin Cooks = Automatic Cooks may be the most underappreciated fantasy player that we’ve seen in a long time. All he does is get the job done and his ADP almost never reflects his production at the end of the year. Last season, Cooks was the WR17 in 15 games with 81 catches for 1,150 yards and six touchdowns on only 119 targets. In five of seven seasons (including his rookie year where he only played 10 games), he has accumulated at least 65 catches, 1,082 yards and five touchdowns. It’s a pretty impressive resume that probably doesn’t get enough credit, especially in fantasy. The question now becomes, can Cooks still thrive with Davis Mills as the quarterback in Houston following the hamstring injury to Tyrod Taylor. What we know is that there isn’t a lot of competition for targets and that Houston is going to have to throw a lot in order to stay in games, so I will bet on Cooks getting plenty of looks and still manage to be in the WR2 or WR3 conversation going forward. 5. Teddy Bridgewater, the Wild (AFC) West’s newest gunslinger In a division that includes Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert and Derek Carr, Denver needed to being to have success through the air to stand a chance to stay alive in the AFC West arms race. Teddy Two Gloves was always perceived to be a dink and dunk type quarterback as evidenced by his Air Yards Per Target last season which had him near the bottom of the league for starting quarterbacks. Something has changed. It could be the poor competition faced so far as the Broncos took on the Giants and Jaguars, or it could be that Bridgewater has finally been unleashed. Through the first two weeks, he sits fourth in Intended Air Yards behind Trevor Lawrence, Derek Carr and Tom Brady and fifth in Completed Air Yards behind Brady, Carr, Daniel Jones and Justin Herbert. What we can deduce is that Teddy is slinging it early on. The Broncos offence has been very good through the first two games and gets a peach matchup against the awful Jets in Week 3. Teddy Bridgewater has become quite the fantasy asset in Denver with a plethora of weapons at his disposal and if they continue to let him sling it, we could really see him stay in the conversation as an every week starter and a back-end QB1 by the time the season is done. 6. The Cowboys RB timeshare…really? One of the Cowboys running backs is RB12 and the other one is RB26. My guess is that you’ve figured out that Pollard is the RB12 and Elliott is the RB26. Yes, the above statement is accurate. “It has to be because Pollard is making the most of limited opportunities though, right?” Incorrect! Pollard has 23 touches compared to Elliott’s 31, so yes, Pollard is making the most of his opportunities (7.7 yards per carry and seven catches on seven targets), but the workload is a lot closer than it has been in years past. Elliott just doesn’t look like nearly the same player that we saw two years ago and looks more like the player that we saw last year. So maybe this is just what he is at this point in his career. On the other hand, Pollard looks great seemingly every time he touches the ball. You’re going to start Elliott every week, but now you’re going to have to start Pollard every week until we are given a reason not to. The thought process is that the workload going forward is going to look very similar to what it is now, but there’s also a chance that if Zeke doesn’t perform that we could see Pollard get even more looks as the season progresses. 7. The Patriots backs are relevant again The best thing that happened to the Patriots running backs was to get rid of Cam Newton as the team’s signal caller and bring in a less athletic, more accurate passer in Mac Jones. That much has been evident over the first two weeks of the season. Damien Harris has taken over as the lead dog in that backfield and established that he’s going to be the guy to get the bulk of the carries. We’ve also established that James White is back after a tumultuous season last year where he dealt with great personal loss and injury. There is a very good chance with Jones at the helm that both Harris and White finish as top-30 running backs. Harris because of his workload and usage in the red zone looks like a virtual lock. For White, it comes down to how much usage he’s going to get in the passing game. With 13 targets (18 per cent target share) through two games, he’s on pace for 110 targets and if that holds up, he should be a great return on value, especially considering he was way down everyone’s draft board before the season started. The Patriots look like they’re back to being the Patriots we had seen for so many years prior, except for, you know, that Brady character. 8. Is the Vikings duo of receivers now a trio? It’s early in the season, we are all aware of that, but some times, some things happen that make you raise an eyebrow. There was obvious hype surrounding Justin Jefferson after his incredible rookie season and even though plenty of people were down on Adam Thielen, he certainly didn’t become a bad receiver overnight. But nobody expected what we’ve seen out of the third member of what might now be a trio of good receivers. KJ Osborn has been a revelation early on in the season for Minnesota, currently sitting at WR19 with 12 catches, 167 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets (18.5 per cent target share) and has been a great complement to the two great receivers ahead of him. The likelihood of this production is due to the injury of Irv Smith Jr., the lack of talent at the tight end position and Thielen and Jefferson drawing top coverages. Jefferson and Thielen are going to get theirs, but Osborn is worth an add in deeper leagues, especially because we have to think that the Vikings are going to be throwing the ball a lot this season. If Jefferson and Thielen go down with injury, Osborn is an easy WR3 play but could even pay dividends as a high-risk, high-reward flex play with those two in the lineup. 9. Patience is a virtue with Hollywood Brown There’s a very good chance that we overlooked Brown’s finish to last season where he was the WR13 from Week 12-17. Yes, he did have five touchdowns in that span and yes we know that is a fluke stat, but you know what, he’s been a touchdown machine since Week 5 of last year. In that stretch of 14 games he has 10 touchdowns, so he could just be on a hot stretch, but it’s worth noting. Through two games this year, Brown is the WR8 with 182 receiving yards, two touchdowns on 16 targets and looks like he’s becoming a lock for your lineups every week. We know that some receivers take some time to adjust to the NFL game and Brown is probably that guy. It also helps that he’s becoming a focal point of the passing game (28 per cent target share) while rookie Rashod Bateman is on the sidelines and Mark Andrews has scuffled a bit out of the gate (eight catches for 77 yards) because this Ravens team is still going to need to have some success in the passing game to make a run in the AFC. Hollywood has arrived. 10. The Weekly “Mike Tolbert Vulture Awards” Ricky Seals-Jones This is one of those rare occasions where a player vultures a touchdown and it was on a great play. Seals-Jones made the most of his lone catch, going for 19 yards and a touchdown but making a great grab in the corner of the end zone on a pass from Taylor Heinicke. I’m sure Logan Thomas managers were thrilled by this. Andy Janovich The Browns fullback not only vultured a rushing touchdown from both Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, but he also outscored Clyde Edwards-Helaire, James Conner, Nyheim Hines and was decimal points behind Jonathan Taylor, Alvin Kamara and Miles Sanders. Janovich’s two carries resulted in zero yards and a touchdown. Can’t make this stuff up. Jauan Jennings Jennings is outscoring Brandon Aiyuk in fantasy scoring just like you all predicted. He had two catches for 17 yards and a score in the Niners win over the Eagles and followed up the San Francisco train of touchdown vultures after they doubled up on the award last week thanks to Trey Lance and Trent Sherfield. Darrell Williams This one was easily my favourite vulture line of the week. Williams was a pre-season sleeper to take away work from Clyde Edwards-Helaire (and even outscored him this week), but you’re not going to get very far with his line of three carries for -2 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 0.7 yards per carry and still outscored the RB1 on his team. I love fantasy football. Read the full article

Abdul: What’s your worst ever transfer?
Difficult, we’ve all had bad ones! I signed Marco Boogers at West Ham. Actually he wasn’t a bad player, he wasn’t expensive and we took a gamble on him. But he got sent off at Old Trafford for taking out Gary Neville. That wasn’t my instruction to do that. Then he disappeared. Someone told me he was living in a caravan! We ended up selling him to someone in Holland.

Solskjaer not expecting any signings today
Tumblr media
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said he ‘doesn’t think’ his club will sign any players before the transfer deadline closes later today.
Solskjaer wanted a striker in addition to midfielder Bruno Fernandes, who joined United for £47m on Thursday.
But, despite Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe confirming United’s interest in Norway striker Josh King earlier this morning, Solskjaer is pessimistic about further signings.
“I don’t think we will do any more business,” said the United boss.
“January has always been difficult. It is not something you just do like that. I am happy with the ones I have here.”
Solskjaer did previously say Ashley Young and Marcos Rojo would not be leaving Old Trafford this month but both subsequently did.

Adrian: Looking back, is there one player you were on the verge of signing but missed out on, that you regret never managing?
Eden Hazard. Joe Cole rang me when he was at Lille and said, “Harry, I’m playing with the best player I’ve ever played with”, and I said, “Woah, that’s some statement Joe, you’ve played with some absolute greats.” So I went over three times, but I didn’t need to see him three times, as once was enough to see how good he was. I went three times, as I wanted to meet him and tell him how keen we were to bring him to Spurs, but unfortunately the deal never got done.

Richard Neldet: Who was your best deadline-day signing?
Difficult question. But Rafa Van der Vaart was a great signing. We were looking to loan Rafa because the fee was high but then at the last minute Daniel Levy came to me and said the club need money so we can get him cheaply, and would I be interested in signing him permanently and I said “Yeah, of course I would”, so that was that, we signed him.

Ian Dennis
Radio 5 live senior football reporter
Olivier Giroud to Tottenham is a possibility but is dependent on Chelsea finding a replacement.
Frank Lampard will block the France forward leaving Stamford Bridge if Chelsea are unable to sign anybody today.

Benjamin Park: How quickly can last-minute deals get done?
They can get done very quickly. You don’t even have to be with the player. As long as they have the right paperwork to sign to be registered. You’re relying on your secretary. Managers aren’t involved with the paperwork.

Guess the deadline-day signing – reveal

Whoops sorry, this is a little late. I’d given the floor to Harry Redknapp!
Anyway, here is the answer to the guess the deadline-day signing teaser.
It is Alvaro Arbeloa, who signed for Liverpool on this day way back in 2007. The clue was in the first two words of my entry at 09:11 GMT.
Plenty of you got this one right, so well done!
Another to come just after 10:00 GMT.

Harry Redknapp Q&A
‘Listen Harry, do you want to loan Aaron Lennon?’

Anonymous: What time do you get to the training ground on transfer deadline day and what time do you leave?
Well you leave when the window closes and you get in at about 7am. Sometimes though you just shut up shop and go home. But I’ve had plenty of late requests. I remember when I was at QPR and Daniel Levey rings me and says, “Listen do you want to loan Aaron Lennon?” and I was like,”Yeah course I would, but how we going to get hold of him now, it’s half past nine at night?!” We tried, but we couldn’t get hold of him, which was a great shame.

Anonymous: What happened with that failed famous Peter Odemwingie transfer?
Time was dragging on and we couldn’t quite get a deal done with West Brom, but they wanted to get rid of him, so we said you better travel down, as we’re going to run out of time, so if we agree a fee, we’ll then be able to get it done. But he made a big mistake though Peter. Instead of going to the hotel that we’d booked him into round the corner, he came to the football ground. West Brom saw it on TV and thought we were taking a liberty and so pulled the plug! I feel sorry for him, but he was bang to rights.

When you think of transfer deadline day, who do you think of?
Well Mr Transfer Deadline Day himself, Harry Redknapp, of course.
We asked for your questions, and you inundated us and didn’t disappoint.
So we’ve picked a selection and obviously there was only one place we could start…
Mark: Did you realise your car window interviews would become such a staple of deadline day?
Ha, no I never did. I just find it hard not to be nice to people. There was always someone from Sky TV there and they have a job to do, so if I can do them a favour, I will do. Usually they’d be stood outside for hours. It might have been raining, snowing, freezing cold, and they’d carry on standing there. Sometimes I’d take them a cup of tea, or invite them in for a sandwich in the canteen.

‘I know what Manchester United means to him’
Bournemouth v Aston Villa (Sat, 15:00 GMT)
Tumblr media
Bournemouth
More from the Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe on Joshua King:
“We have missed him since he has been out injured, so speaking as manager I would be very reluctant to let him leave. With a day to go in the window it’s very difficult to find a replacement.
“It’s going to be [a decision] between the chief executive and owner. I love Josh as a player and person. I know what Manchester United means to him with his history with the club, so I understand his position.”

‘I won’t deny anything you have read’
Bournemouth v Aston Villa (Sat, 15:00 GMT)
Tumblr media
Bournemouth
Right here is theBournemouth boss Eddie Howe.
Very little chat about a six-pointer with Aston Villa on Saturday but plenty on potential incoming players and Joshua King’s future:
“We’re looking as always. We have never been in the market for permanent deals, we’ve been looking at loans and what we can do. It’s difficult to find players who can make a difference on loan, so I don’t imagine too much happening today, but you can never say never.”
On Joshua King being linked to Manchester United:“I’m not going to deny anything you have read but I don’t want to talk about it too much. He is much valued and loved by us.
“He is a massive part of our team, he brings that unique pace and strength, coupled with technical ability and an eye for goal.”

Come in number 18
Tumblr media
Manchester United made the biggest signing of the transfer window when they signed Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon for £47million yesterday.
Fernandes has been given the number 18 shirt previously worn by Paul Scholes and, latterly, Ashley Young.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should be talking about Fernandes soon and, possibly, Josh King, who United have spoken to Bournemouth about.

Post update
Steve Bruce’s news conference at Newcastle is under way. As soon as we have anything from that you’ll see it here.
In the meantime Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is on his way. Wonder if Joshua King will get a mention?

All quiet on the Liverpool front
Tumblr media
Mandeep Sanghera
BBC Sport
There are unlikely to be any major ins and outs at Liverpool on transfer deadline day today.
On the signings front, the Premier League leaders did their main business by bringing in winger Takumi Minamino from RB Leipzig at the start of the month.
In terms of outgoings, the Reds knocked back approaches from Roma and Sevilla to take Xherdan Shaqiri on loan earlier this month. They insist they will not consider selling the attacking midfielder until the summer as they remain on course for the top-flight title and are still in the Champions League and FA Cup.

Lineup Lamentations - GW5
Our Transfers, Captains, and Starting 11s for the week.
WALSH
TRANSFERS:
OUT: Blind
IN: Davies
Off a WC and not saving...fucking fuck me. Really torn up over this one throughout the week but in the end I think I really just made a mistake and picked the wrong guy. I'm throwing my hands up and rectifying this issue. Jumping on the best defender in the game right now. Blind, I hardly knew ya, but you're fucked right off mate. 4 cleans in the 4 starts you've had you don't deserve this....but....Bavies...fuck. Stats are better than Alonso last year and the fucking boy was basically playing second striker against Dortmund getting in the box that cheeky little son of. He's in. I don't want to stubbornly miss out on all the fun.
GK:
Sticking with Foster this weekend over Elliot. Didn't really think much about it although I've seen plenty of friends with this same GK combo going with Elliot. WBA just such a better defensive outfit and at home they keep their fair share of cleans. West Ham are still West Ham. Good performance on Monday but it was Huddersfield. And they nearly didn't break through. I'll go with TP and his tall lads to get a clean. So, since I'm going Foster you, yes you reader of these words, should go Elliot. Because that's how this works.
DEF:
Looking tidy in defense this weekend.
New lad Bavies has the home banker against the hapless Swans so a clean feels pretty good here as long as Lloris doesn't do something fucking dumb.
Jones looks like a steady guy who I will be content to run out there week in week out without hesitation until his injury.
Finally, FRANNO FUCK Simon Francis gets a start for the lads. Cheeky 4.4 boy giving me some excitement to watch the fuckfest game on Friday gets me going. He's generally in Howe's team sheet when he's fit - he was in GW1 and as club captain and Howe already professing the team has missed him I expect him to feature after getting 45 minutes in for the worst player in the Prem Tyrone Mings. I've seen Franno predicted anywhere from RB, RWB, RCB, or CB so don't ask me where he'll play or how Howe will set up but just get me a fucking clean sheet. Don't let Grob do it in the face. Not in the face. Seriously though, I do fancy Bournemouth in this game. Think they will do Brighton to nil. Go on.
MID:
My sexy Jese gets a go. He inadvertently came on for me last week with Blind's surprise no show, but now is his time to shine. No more DDG in goal this weekend against you my son. Show me your dong and some dongs.
Eriksen just looks like the best shit of life, he's going to be in the team for quite a while so feels good to have him in here.
With Mane out, Salad feels a lot safer in this moment for the next couple and hopefully he can fucking do some shit against Burnley. Burnley were absolutely all over the fucking shop against Palace last weekend and if they do that against this team they are going to be looking at a 6-0 or something. We'll see if Dyche can get his bus in order.
Brady on the other side of this coin. Eh. Not feeling great but maybe he can get me a cheeky assist through ball on a counter or some shit off a set piece. Idk. Good luck Robbie.
FWD:
Bobby goes. Pen duties? Eek. Fucking Bob.
Kane obv.
Rom obv.
Safe and safe. Not much to chat about here. Forwards feel good. Rom is on borrowed time, maybe? The Donk just keeps scoring and finding a way. Each game.
CAP:
KANE as if there was any question. He'll probably get 70 minutes in this one....but it should be 4-0 by that time with his haul in place. Go fucking fuck my young Harold. My absolute glorious lovely son.
ALON
TRANSFERS:
OUT: Heaton
IN: Elliot
Oof writing these at 7am before I go catch another flight... Sorry if they’re a little stale <3........
In the end Heaton had to be dealt with and I followed my pod partner’s suggestion of Bob Elliot to tend the goal for me. I’m now spending 8.0m on the GK position which feels great as it’s always the lowest scoring position in the game, so I think structurally I’m sound there, but I just need some points to follow. Hopefully I didn’t miss out on all Bob points and now he’s gonna be horrible, but it’s very possible.
I wonder which certainty will come through? Walsh starts Foster so that’s a jinx yet he’s also benching Elliot so that’s a GOOD jinx. I’m starting Elliot though so that’s another bad jinx and I don’t know what wins in the battle of light and dark......... Just kidding we both know who wins. Elliot is fucked.
GK:
The aforementioned Prosciutto Face Rob Bob Elliot between the sticks. He’s been solid this year, Newcastle are solid, we’ll see what happens. I back Rafa to decode Hughesys shit and keep the Potter horses in check.
DEF:
Jones home Everton feels to me like a nailed on clean. Ronald has to change something with Everton quickly or he’s going to start feeling some heat. Getting absolutely DONE in Europa League yesterday was not ideal for him/them in this moment.
Southampton and Ryan Berty at Palace, probably the worst team in the division, should also sound like a nailed on clean but let’s not kid ourselves, Soton are fucking shit. Who knows how this piece of ass fuck game goes but one thing is for sure that Berty will drop points... I think Walsh and I took Palace in survivor because fuck boring boring Soton.
Lastly rotational cog for me Danny Simpson slots in with Naughton away at Spurs, Danny has the nice fixture away at Huddersfield. The last time I needed Danny in he came through with a steady 6 pointer and anything less then that this time around I will be disappointed. Go on Danny.
MID:
Salah and Salad and Sarah and Pauline still go, he’s still a great pick as I said on the pod. His goal in UCL was lucky bullshit but whatever, the point is he will just keep racking up attacking returns from where I’m sitting. And he has to be nailed with the Mane ban.
Daveed goes again walking the tightrope for me after blanking in the 5-0. It’s good that he got on the board in UCL that feels promising to me although I did not watch the match. Another day another who knows with City. Where will he play? I don’t know. How will they set up? I don’t know. Will they struggle to score or will they score 4+? I still don’t know.
Brady away at Anfield. Not ideal as Burnley are to be bossed for possession, though it must be said if Brady’s corner/FK deliveries are on point, there are returns to be had in this one. Burnley did us last season.
And last and least unfortunately I’m still stuck starting 4.5 Chalobah and this time home to Man City. Sucks, but I’ve had other transfers to deal with and it hasn’t been worth taking a hit to get rid of him in this moment.
FWD:
The pillars of FPL come straight the fuck in and these lads haven’t moved for me since GW1 which feels pretty nice. Kane, Rom, Bobby. Go the fuck on. Nothing to be said.
CAP:
Harry. Do you listen to our pod? It’s Harry and there’s no discussion to be had. He’s the standout captain for the next four gameweeks running. End of.
