in the mood for criticising the very reactionary approach of just. humanity in general. now I’m wondering how much of this is being escalated because we’re just. talking past each other. because people hear one thing and catastrophise it into another. because that’s what trauma does to you. and it happens en masse and bypasses peoples ‘don’t kill people’ instinct

#I think I’ve kinda alluded to it before but. ‘israel is bad and should stop’ I don’t think is the solution #I think it’s going back upstream to the people who took everything from Jews in general then were like ‘you exist on our terms’#who knew nothing but stopping violence with force and so. that’s what they gave them no choice but to do #dig right upstream to those systemic causes and. this is gonna take A WHILE to unravel #but damn it when someone is lashing out you have to know kindness and safety is often the most effective thing #but how do you deploy that en masse?? and how do you do that but. still ensure justice?? because people killed don’t just come back #and because. you need freedom for palestine too. real freedom #anyway if I talk in circles enough I’m gonna be like ‘the cross shows both justice and disarming by creating safety’#which is all well and good but. we so badly need this to be a actual tangible solution #and if you know your enemy’s mind better than they do. then you know how to fix it #bloody devils advocate affective empathy hopefully I can do something good with you #you guys know all I’m saying is generational trauma and tribalism is a thing and hurting people hurt people?#and the solution is gonna involve deconstructing A LOT of antisemitism real fast. and demonising israel as a whole is not gonna help #tryna remove the barriers for justice for palestine. idk what this reads as but. that’s why we need it asap
