I don't know if you've seen the new pic Kibum posted, but if you're online I'm sure you've seen the drama about it now...

I don't get it though, usually Key will say himself when he posts something if it shouldn't be shared, so I wonder if even he didn't see a problem with it at first? Why is one picture such a problem? Is Taemin not allowed to exist in public while enlisted?

This isn't a dig at Baekhyun cause I'm glad he was able to do these things, but didn't he have youtube videos coming out while enlisted? And I know he was all over his verified twitter all the time? How is just one picture different than that? Is it cause of the platform? Even though its not Taemin's bubble and he makes no money from it? Would their be so much drama if it had been posted to instastories?

I saw people saying there were articles, but there were articles written when Taemin went to Keys show?

I dunno where I'm getting with this, other than enlistment is confusing, I hope Key and Taemin in particular are okay, and I can't wait for this overlong awful enlistment to be over...

I have Bubble so I received the scolding directly via text! That was a shocker, lol. I'll give you my unvarnished opinion on this but as a warning, I'm going to be brutally honest about all of it. You're asking completely legit questions here.

The situation is nuanced, and I think for a lot of fans just the idea that they did something Kibum didn't like and felt the need to tell everyone off about was enough to either upset them or make them scared and 'fall in line." I deleted the posts I made and then I reflected because I never share Bubble content. But this time I made an exception — why did I do that? Because EVERYONE did.

So this is my opinion (don't take it as gospel because I have no access to anyone's thoughts). I think Key misjudged the reaction to that photo and how berserk everyone would go. He sees Taemin all the time; we haven't seen his entire face since his birthday in 2022 (lol). And, we've had virtually no communication from him in almost two years. "We" went nuts. Can anyone blame us? No. But Bubble is a paid service, and Kibum always reminds us not to share his shit. I never share anyone's shit publicly anyhow, but again it was ubiquitous, so I joined in. See the problem?

He had every right to get mad and remind of his boundaries and Bubble policy (there are financial penalties you can face for sharing stuff too btw). I also think he probably felt remorse over sending it in the first place since he likely misjudged what would happen. Is it all about breaking Bubble policy? No. And I don't think it's all about him being annoyed at fans breaking his trust either.

Baekhyun did have a personal YouTube account that he setup himself to use to communicate with fans during enlistment. It's my understanding he did this as a way to keep in touch without it having any links to promo/work. But, do you remember how he had to delete it all, and then he came online to tell us it's okay etc? I think that SM caught wind of extra scrutiny on people doing civil service enlistment, and it was a precaution. I also think this is why they've cooled it on Taemari, and it could be one of many reasons why Taemin stopped doing any posts at all. I'm not saying it's THE reason, but I think it's likely a factor.

There is a lot of criticism of celebrities who do civil service enlistment, and that criticism was present before the investigation involving Ravi and others came to light. People have been criticizing the option for years, saying it's how celebrities get out of doing "actual" service (let's put aside arguments about why that's wrong/insane, etc). Instead, put yourself in Taemin's shoes. He started service one way and is finishing it another. Wouldn't you want to avoid public ire and scrutiny over how you're spending your time in enlistment, ie. "living it up" etc. In my opinion, that's the worry over the photo being everywhere and now in news articles.

Why is the concert different? He went with Lee Soo-Man on the non-Beyond Live day as a private citizen, he kept his face covered the entire time—he even dressed low key. I have the same shirt that he wore (lol, imagine my surprise) except it's the branded version. He wore the non-branded version. Though he did have a Prada bag so maybe my argument falls apart but it wasn't like, in your face, was it? Anyhow, I hope you'll see my point. When he went to that soccer game, Jimin and Sungwoon were also there but they were in a fancy box. He did not sit in the box - he was just with the regulars in the stands. It wouldn't look so good to be in a fancy private box when you're supposed to be serving in the military, would it?

When Minho served, whenever he called Taemin he said he could never show his face. He was allowed to call him on VLives (or comment, lol) but he said specifically he can't show his face. They even argued about it. To bring this full circle, Bubble is a paid promotional, parasocial service. Even though for Kibum, sharing the photo is "private," it's still part of his work as an idol. So technically Taemin was in paid content. Is it a big deal? I really don't think it is (also is he definitely not discharged already?! o.O) so no one should feel sad or bad or whatever. Next time anyone shares anything on Bubble, I know it won't get shared. That's just how the fans roll. There's a level of respect here that is a breath of fresh air tbh.

Why is Baekhyun on Twitter whenever he wants but we don't hear from Taemin often? Personal choice. And that's a choice to be respected. It's not our business unless he chooses to share. Existential perspectives aside, we're part of "work" and the man is not in work nor getting paid for it right now, so he doesn't need to do shit. lol.

I am still highly distracted by the spoilers and suffering for it but hearing that both Obi Wan is done after ep4 and that the carriage scene is also in ep4, I think a lot of the over the top yelling about Kenebling I saw was a touch dramatic.

(not that I am also not dramatic, I am and will continue to be so)

I haven't read or thought much on Penelope possibly having a dream but if she does...good for us, ha. I know the metadata said a dream in ep2 but in my head (and the way I'd write a fic) it would be near the end of the ep to bookend the brothel scene at the front to contrast both how he acts with her and his feelings for her over the episode. Cue wake up scene and fade to black for a mini cliffhanger before going into the 3rd ep where that garden scene is supposed to be for real. What a ride it's going to be.

Knowing we get some serious yearning, jealousy, horny jail vibes and they pretty much have to be eps 2-4 before the carriage scene that's so much to work in through 3 episodes, Obi Wan feels so much more like a plot device than anything else at this point.

Oh they are so angry about the promo. Every time I open twitter I see a new and offensive bad take on why we're getting promo but they didn't (in 2022, with the pandemic restrictions still going strong no less). It's nasty behavior and says a lot more about them than it does about s3. Truly one season per couple is perfect. No pressure to break them up for drama, no storylines fading and feeling hugely OOC or painful for almost a whole season just to act like the huge conflict never happened because they're moving onto the next one. I will happily let the next couple take the spotlight and all the better if I manage to get invested in them along the way.

20 years? That's so impressive! Adulting and too much of it, I agree, but impressive nonetheless.

I am so distracted and still searching down holes I probably would never go down to find more spoilers LOL! But I need all of them. I did see that we only get Obi Wan in 1, 3 and 4. And I would be good with that. I saw the Carriage spoiler and girl I died. I saw it ends on a cliffhanger and I will say I do have a rule about no cliffhangers because they give me the GREATEST anxiety there is. So as soon as episode ends I will be back down my spoiler hole for episode 5.

I think if you look up the word dramatic in the dictionary (something they definitely had when I was younger) it would have my name listed there. I read something that brothel scene number 1 happens in episode 2 and that brother scene number 2 didn’t come until episode FOUR! FOUR!!! I said. Yes I got dramatic again. I might have dropped to my knees in true Darth Vader style and yelled NOOOOOOO! But then I said Stacy…and Yes I talk to myself a lot…I said Stacy shut the front door, it will be ok. And then I was fine. Because then I remembered that no one knows really anything past episode one and we are all making stuff up in our heads and getting paranoid now.

I think its going to be fun and games and yearning and pining with a pinch of annoying there is this other suitor who likes veggies hanging out in the back for a couple of episodes and then all of a sudden episode 4 there is going to be some serious shit going down. And whatever happens in that one is going to be the ballgame. Because I noticed we only got like 3 screenshots from that episode. Like two of her in her dress dancing with Lord Kenobi at the ball and her serious face as he’s talking to her. And then Colin all angry and serious on the stairs…so what the hell goes down in 4 because damn. That’s where it all goes sideways and they end up literally sideways in a carriage!

I saw more beautiful promo today of Nic and Newts in Australia and it made me just flutter and flurry and not care that everyone was angry about it because it was so sweet and pure that you have to be mad and crazy to be angry about it. The things I have read that they keep saying about them is just trash and not nice. I’m happy it’s one season because if you focus on a couple for too long, writers have a tendency to screw it up by adding in dumb things to keep the story interesting like new love interests or fake drama that no one asked for. I’ve watched too many Ryan Murphy shows to trust writers. I want to see them happy and sexed up next season and running off to find a room. Maybe Colin can throw in a couple lines of “My wife” to make me giggle too.

I was ok with 20 years until my co workers told me it was like 41,600 hours of my life…though I’m pretty sure a lot of those hours were sneaking off to read fanfiction too.

Anyways, I haven't written anything since spring I think, which is acceptable since drawing is more for me (if you wanna follow my art ig it's castiele_rose, lol shameless promo, which nobody will probably see or care about lol) and writing is just so I can share my thoughts and fantasies with y'all, I ain't gonna be greedy and keep 'em all to myself. Okay so this imagine was inspired with Hyungwon's line "I love you" in the White Love/Girl MV by Monsta X. Homework. Ugh. Who invented that? You wished you could just get your education without all the homework and stress.

You were hanging out with Hyungwon at the practise room after your classes. Well more like doing your homework and studying while he was practising a new song they had to record tomorrow.

You always liked listening to him practising for a song. His voice helped you relax and concetrate and you liked to say that your work was done quicker and had better results. And of course you didn't feel tired afterwards, unlike the times you had to do it alone. After those times you would just collapse on your bed and fall alseep in matter of seconds.

"White girl you can fill up my everyting", you listened how he treid to repeat some words to adjust his voice to the note he had to sing. He made a small pause to write something down on his paper.

"I love you", he said with more softness and emotion than you've ever heard come out of his mouth.

"I love you too", you responded almost immediately and then you realised.

You two are just friends. Yes, you fell in love with him over the years, because he never once abandoned you or said bad things about you, but you never told him. Well, now you did. Oops.

Your eyes went wide and you covered your mouth with both of your hands after you dropped the pen on top of your book. You were scared but you still turned around towards him.

His eyes were big dark circles shining and starring at you and his mouth were slightly open. His singing and your sighs in the big room were now replaced with the echo from the pen that slipped out of his hand and fell onto the hard wood floor.

"What?", he asked, still shocked, not moving from his spot on the chair.

"What what?", you tired to play dumb like it wasn't obvious that you just said those 4 words to him.

He blinked a few times before standing up and saying, "Can you repeat that?".

He started walking towards you slowly. Your heart skipped a beat and you started to panic slightly.

"Repeat what? What did I say?", you started ranting because you didn't know what else to do while he was getting closer by second, "I can't quite remember because I've been studying all evening and y'know my brain's fried so I don't even know what I'm saying anymore I'm probably just tired and stressed so I don't really know what I'm...", he kneeled down and was now very close to you, "... saying".

You were looking into his eyes with yours wide open because of fear. He was looking at you but when you noticed him looking down at your lips for 3 seconds you almost fainted.

He started leaning in slowly, touched your chin with his index finger and lifted your head slightly.

"Repeat that, love", when you heard that nickname come out of his mouth with a low voice, you felt your stomach drop.

You couldn't say anything. You were in complete shock. Was he going to make you say it again, which wasn't supposed to happen in the first place, and then laugh at your face and walk away? No, he would never walk away from you. Was he going to laugh at you and say he said it for the purpose of the practise and not to you? Was he gonna laugh it off thinking it was a joke?

"Do I have to force it out of you?", he asked quietly, moved away from your face slightly and looked you in the eyes, "I love you", he said it again, with a slight smirk, to what you exhaled sharply.

Sudden rush of confidence hit you with those words being pointed at you this time, or so you thought, so you, without hesitation, said, "I love you too", to what he smiled and then chuckled.

"She loves me too", he said cheerfully, more to himself, as he sat down across from you. You were confused. 5 seconds ago he was making you dizzy by being incredibly close to your face and almost kissing you and now he's being all cute and soft.

"I'm confused", you furrowed your eyebrows and blinked a few times quickly.

"You're so cute", he laughed a little and put his hand on his stomach.

"Wait, was this a joke?", you said feeling embarrassment filling up your body.

You wanted to dig a hole for yourself and crawl into it and never look him in the eyes again. Why were you so careless and let that slip out just like that? It's because of school and stress, you convinced yourself.

"Do you want it to be a joke?", he asked calmly.

"No, wait no, I don't know what to think", you looked everywhere but towards him, which is why you didn't notice him crawling towards you.

With quick movements he got closer, took your face with both of his hands and kissed you softly but deeply.

Unconsciously, you pulled him closer by his arms which caused both of you to fall on the floor, breaking the kiss.

He moved some strands of hair from your face while you just watched his beautiful face above yours.

"So what are we?", you asked while looking at him.

"I don't know. What do you want us to be?", he asked looking back at you.

"A joke", you said, making fun of the previous conversation, to which you both laughed.

After you both stopped laughing he started leaning in again.

You two almost kissed again, but then you heard the door of the practise room open and someone walk in saying, "Are you two done being cute?"

You recognized the voice as Changkyun's.

"How much did you see?", Hyungwon asked looking up at him.

"Nothing", Changkyun said. You couldn't look at him from embarrassment so you were just looking at the ceiling.

"How much did you hear?", you asked him, fearing the answer he was about to give you.

"Everything", he said through laughter to which Hyungwon barried his head into your neck to hide from the maknae.

You bet your love for Hyungwon that Changkyun is gonna tell the whole story to his hyungs with the biggest smirk on his face.
