i got exactly one (1) like on that post with tags about Andrew And Neil having A Moment during Taxi (a song by The Maine) so here's a small snippet of the fic i'm working on where that appears !
Taxi - The Maine
( I recommend that you to the song for the Full Effect, but its obviously not required)
Tumblr media
What is this fic about? Basically it's the most self-indulgent thing i could possibly write: the foxes go to a music festival, Neil sees a set from a band called The Maine and becomes a Fan. He learns why people like live music so much, learns to let go and have fun at shows, and has Many Emo Moments while listening to their music. Basically, if you wanna read a fic about Neil experiencing some emotional healing while listening to music from a band that you don't know, this is the fic for you!!
*note: i haven't written any kind of published fic so please be kind to me !! this is completely unedited and is straight from google docs so it might be pretty rough.*

I am a little pissed about the news. What reason could there be for TWO world tours in a year except trying to milk the money for the one they missed bc of covid out of them? I can't even imagine the stress...
i think it’s lovely that they’re going to canada (ie a country they’ve at least never been to) and some cities that they’ve never been to as well, so i don’t wanna diminish anyone’s excitement about those positive aspects. my issue is that yeah exactly it’s another world tour in less than a year that’s being announced when they are still conducting the first world tour in japan today? not only that but they’re prepping for a comeback along with kcon in california and based on the dates and gaps between canada and japan shows, they seem to have blocked out time for end of year shows as well...
in the last united states and europe tours that happened literally a few months ago, multiple members were out with sickness, muscle pains, injuries, dehydration, etcetc and all kq seems to have done about that issue is put more rest days between the tour stops. not only that but they continuously failed to inform fans of what was going on or waited until hours before a show to say ‘hey yeah he wont be here xx’ after going into radio silence for days and continuing to be silent about the members’ physical conditions beyond saying they wouldn’t perform at the concerts. i for one couldn’t give two shits about whether xyz is performing when his health is on the line and i’d much rather know that he is okay and resting before i know whether he’s gonna stand on a stage or not. it’s not like they’re poor. they’ve made millions from the tour in the first half of the year alone, and there are reports that show they are no longer in debt anymore. on top of that they release merchandise for every little thing that happens like it’s nothing.
as much as the members themselves tell fans not to worry, worrying over someone you respect and care about is inevitable and impossible to control at the end of the day. it’s entirely natural to be upset and put off by news that they aren’t going to be getting well deserved rest after half a year’s worth of touring, and it’s not like they’ll get much opportunity to rest between comeback and the start of the tour when they prepare for those tours months in advance and they’ll have to prepare entirely different setlists and productions for all these venues and all these concerts. i don’t doubt that they’re planning another europe leg of a tour with more dates than this past spring too.
i’m with you anon, i’m frustrated at the company who, as much as they support and seem to take good care of the members when they are hurting both mentally and physically, continually put the same members through that same mental and physical stress under the guise of being such an angelic company compared to the bigger ones out there. two world tours in a year is ridiculous at best and it’s frustrating because people will try to tell you that you can’t be concerned for ateez’s wellbeing just because they’ve told fans not to worry in the past. burnout and mental/physical fatigue is unavoidable if this is how they’re being worked.
