@hobbitwrangler @grey-gazania @runawaymun @echo-bleu tagged me to do this, so I guess I really should do it! I did this one recently on my main for all the fandoms I've written for, so I'll keep this limited to Tolkien fics here.
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 82.
2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 128,198.
3. What fandoms do you write for? Currently mostly Tolkien, with the occasional dash of Timeless and Narnia.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
As the Hare Flees Before the Wolf (T, Celegorm & Eöl, 1.8k): Curufin is not the only son of Fëanor Eöl meets upon the plains of Himlad. Or, Eöl meets Celegorm while pursuing Aredhel and Maeglin, and things go very badly for him.
Here at Journey's End (G, Frodo & Legolas, 1.6k): They stay for those they love.
West, West Away (G, Sam & Thranduil, 3.6k): Sam meets an unlikely kindred spirit on the journey West.
and I will love with urgency, but not with haste (T, Aegnor/Andreth, 3.1k): A summer evening spent in a glade near the shores of the Aeluin.
with death on his brow like a crown (G, Aegnor & Finrod, ~600 words): Five times Finrod foresees Aegnor’s death, and one time he foresees his own.
5. Do you respond to comments? Yep! It may take a while depending on spoons, but I almost always do. The only exceptions are for comments that make no sense to me or demand me to write more for a pairing.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? There's a lot of contenders for this, but let's go with Like a Wave That Should Engulf the World (G, Faramir/Éowyn, ~700 words), in which Faramir foresees Éowyn's coming death.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? For Charity (Boromir, Faramir, Éomer, Lothíriel, and Éowyn, 2k), for sure. Two thousand words of pure ridiculousness.
8. Do you get hate on fics? Not since ye olde days of posting on FFN.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? Very rarely and very vanilla, with emotions and metaphor taking precedence over mechanics.
10. Do you write crossovers? Nope. Not much into reading or writing them.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Hope not!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? Nope.
14. What’s your all-time favorite ship? *looks at header, url, and blog title* I don't think I even need to say.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? For the sake of answering the question, my Glorfinwyn AU, but only because I'm not sure I have the skills to pull it off, and my perfectionism is a raging beast. But I do really want to finish it, even if it's three years from now because I'm the slowest writer I know.
16. What are your writing strengths? Characterization and description/scenery, although I've been struggling with the latter lately. Dialogue has finally been getting easier, though.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Plot, body language, and describing emotions.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? I'll sprinkle in some individual words/pet names (all shamelessly ripped from RealElvish.net) here and there that should be guessable from context clues. I don't do full sentences very often both because I feel it isn't necessary most of the time (sorry JRRT), and because I know people don't enjoy having to scroll to the notes for translations. But I will admit to having a weakness for Elves lapsing into their native tongues during uh. heated moments with their partners.
19. First fandom you wrote for? LOTR, years ago. And here I am back again!
20. Favorite fic you’ve written? This is so hard, but Over Seas of Starlight (G, Frodo & Gandalf, 3.6k) is near and dear to my heart. Sailing West, my beloved.

You are both breaking my heart and wearing my last nerve out. I'm only human. I'm not a saint. While I am genuinely very sorry that tumblr deleted your account, did you read the email that they sent to you? I know that you screenshotted it. You have it posted right now on this iteration of your blog.
Truth be told? I don't know if anyone reported your account. I can say with a clear conscience that I didn't. I had no reason to. The last I interacted with you and/or that account was when I was in the comments of your pinned post, talking to you there.
I am not exactly certain that your account would have required much reporting, to be honest. I think that you are imagining a bandwagon of people joining together to work against you, given the way you are currently in several inboxes, calling people bullies and so on. Again, I can say with a completely clear conscience, I have never participated in any such link up or bandwagon against you, or anyone else.
So let's keep it a buck. You do somewhat routinely post about the things mentioned in that email. It's your blog, you have a right to talk about the state of your mental health if you want to, but in this case, it was tumblr itself taking notice and action of the frequency of that, and what specifically you were saying.
Hell, let's go back in time a bit. You and I literally met and became mutuals BECAUSE you posted a farewell note on your blog, several deletions and remakes ago. It was written as if it were a done deal, and having been familiar with your url in the fandom tags, I was immediately worried for you, stranger that you were, and desperate to reach out to you hoping it would come before a too-late kind of moment. You know what the saddest part of that search for you was? Encountering people who did claim to know you and who said, with great shame, that this was somewhat regular for you.
You know it too, because even in our conversations you mentioned having been blamed or accused of attention seeking in the past and having callouts written about you.
The answer is right there, Stray. Your blog was deleted for mentions of self-harm. You may not have been glorifying it or promoting it, but you posted about it enough that you finally tripped a flag somewhere. That's it. That's all it is.
As for the rest? This is the second time you're calling me a bully. Yet again, I am asking you to prove it. Please show me the instances in which I bullied you, or the actions that I took against you. What, exactly, did I do? Because to the best of my recollection? I spent a while trying to be your friend, trying to be as supportive as I could be, introducing you to other friends of mine to help widen your circle, gaming with you, plotting things to write with you and then the one night I couldn't stay up late to talk with you because I was literally recovering from being incredibly ill AND had to take my son to an appointment the next day... ended up with you having sent me overnight screenshots of deleting your blog and either blocking or unfriending me on discord. Which one of those things was the bullying, Stray? Because the way I see it? You're the one who ditched me the second I couldn't be of use to you.
last but not least, rumor out of the hell part of this country says you have a problem with sharing mutuals. you don't like it when someone you like writes or interacts with someone you don't like and that may be the root cause of your distress. if so, rumors of my and @lt-ghxst's relationship are both greatly exaggerated and misunderstood. it's not my fault I tagged and bagged him, as that is what you do with wild gators. however, if he has slighted you, I don't take any responsibility for him. he's untrained and not yet housebroken. it's a miracle if I can get him to only piss outdoors. he bites. he's ornery and nasty-tempered. Honestly, he should probably be put to sleep but I am determined to break him in.

1.Which of your fics would you keep the basic plot of but rewrite completely?
Far Away (From Where I Belong). I'm currently rewriting (can't even say that really, I'm outlining) it. I love it, it has some really great writing in it, but I jumped into it without really knowing where I wanted to go. So, I'm taking a step back to actually plan out what's going to happen and to make the characterization more consistent.
2. Anything you'd like to write but feel like you're unable to?
Casefics. I want to write casefics so bad, but I feel I don't have the skill to write the detective part of things.
3. How would you describe your writing style?
Hm. To quote Phineas and Ferb: that is an excellent question. I've never really given much thought to it? I guess I'd say it's simple with a focus on emotion and a dash of melodrama (because who can say no to melodrama).
5. What's a tag you never want to use for your works even when it applies?
Bruce Wayne is a Bad Parent. Listen bad dad!Bruce hurts my heart so much. I don't think any of what I've written needs that tag, but even if it did, I simply could and would not.
15. What's your favourite plotless fic you have written?
I used to have a huge series of one-shots over on ffdotnet (idk if tumblr is still doing that thing where it hides posts that have urls in them) when it was still the fanfic site to use before A03. Anyway, my favorite was this super short one where Bruce pulled into the Wendy's drive-thru as Batman while him and Dick were on patrol (this is early!Robin days). I mean there are so many "Batman gets fast food for Robin" fics, but I loved trying my hand at one. It was fun and short and sweet.
28. Any writing advice that works for you and you feel like sharing?
I really like the whole 'don't take yourself too seriously' advice. Even when writing something with a serious tone, it helps me to remember that I'm not writing for a Nobel Prize. I have a lot more fun when I remember that I'm supposed to be having fun.
33. Give your writing a compliment.
Your writing touches on emotions in a beautifully simple way.

For this tag, (reblog with the meaning/origin of my url and my favorite color) my url is pretty easy to explain hahahha I stole it from an All Time Low song 🤭 "i'm sick and tired of false devotion" and well, idk, I just liked it hahahahah I was setting up a new tumblr just for fics and here we are (I even fell back down the spn rabbit hole when I was only ever meant to post about bands XDDD). For the longest time I couldn't decide between blue and purple for my favourite colour and then I chose neither: it's green. Forest green hahahahah

I’d be happy to be added to your taglist and I’m looking forward to seeing more of your stuff! If you’re looking to turn your blog totally into a writeblr, I’d first recommend going on a follow-spree and filling up your dash with other Writeblrs and send them a quick message to get on their radar, like the nice ask you sent me the other day :) This is a really easy way to meet other people so they recognize your url.
Once you follow a bunch of writeblrs, try to participate in some of the common events: ask days like Storyteller Saturday and Worldbuilding Wednesday, tag games like “find the word tag” and “last line tag”, and just generally interacting with people by liking, reblogging and commenting on their work. In my experience, everyone is happy to talk about their work, that’s why we’re here, and it’s usually reciprocal too! Kindness pays forward, so be friendly and you’ll start getting attention in return! And for good measure, here’s a list of some of my favorite writeblrs off the top of my head...

1. why did you choose your url?
tbh i'm not that emotionally attached to my current url, but i was in a hurry and wanted something sort of related to my old url + a pun or rhyme of some kind. and now i don't want to change it again because doing so would break a bunch of links, i'm pretty sure. choosing usernames is always so stressful.

yeah i made one a couple months ago and then stopped using it almost immediately haha

no. i'm not totally sure i see the point of queue tags?
5. why did you start your blog in the first place?
i honestly have no memory of starting my blog at all. i do remember that i just lurked for the first year or so, which is why i will never ever catch up with all my likes no matter how hard i try. i'm guessing i started it to follow one specific blog, but i'm not sure.
6. why did you choose your icon/pfp?
because of this post.
7. why did you choose your header?
because it's funny.

not sure! probably a couple dozen. i've unfollowed several mutuals solely for the crime of being way cooler than me when i'm in one of my deeply insecure phases lol. i really wish you could mute people on here without unfollowing them. my current solution to this problem is to just not look at my dash at all 😌

my tumblr use habits are in flux at the moment. but probably still too much, especially considering all i'm doing is going into the murderbot tag and also looking at my old posts and reblogs and thinking about how good my tags are.
14. did you have a fight/argument with another blog once?
no. i mostly don't see the point in doing that in an online, semi-anonymous setting. maybe i would see the point if i had more followers (and thus felt like the time i would spend fruitlessly arguing with someone i don't know would be worth it because a critical mass of people would be exposed to my viewpoint) and/or people were directly sending me shit that i really felt the need to correct? but that's never happened. i argue with people i know in real life, because i know what they think and i might actually be able to convince them or learn something about their perspective that enriches our relationship and/or changes my mind. in this setting, i'm only seeing a fraction of what the person thinks and i'm making inferences about them and their viewpoint based on how they're presenting their argument and other cues that may be wildly incorrect, and they're doing the same for me. there's just a lot working against a successful argument on tumblr dot com. i've seen it done, but it's rare.
15. how do you feel about ‘you need to reblog this’ posts
very negatively!
16. do you like tag games?
yeah! though i often have this urge to be like "how could i possibly have an answer to this hyperspecific question?" which i tamp down because no one needs to see that.
17. do you like ask games?
i go through phases of liking them, but after doing a few of them i'm like "ugh all my answers are so boring" and then i need a refractory period to get back up to liking them, lol. it's been a while though, so this is good timing.
18. which of your mutuals do you think is tumblr famous?
i used to be mutuals with someone whose posts routinely get tens to hundreds of thousands of notes, but i unfollowed them because it just stressed me the hell out. other than that, i have mutuals who i would say are fandom-famous, but i don't think that's really the same thing.
