Lmao, I've just seen that Tommo video about George and honestly, I want to study the really weird perception that's started creeping in about his driving ability recently.

He had a scrappy year last year, and sure he's been making more mistakes than usual, but he's still driving the same unruly car that Lewis is, yet somehow doesn't seem to get the same extenuating circumstances applied to his results.

Charles is also a really scrappy driver, and yet it only ever seems to get brought up as a footnote, rather than a defining part of his driving ability.

Sure, there's things he still needs to work on, but given the cars Mercedes have served up over the last 3 years, it's not like he's had the comfort to just focus on his driving like he would do if he had a more reliable car underneath him.

This idea that he's somehow under performing is genuinely WILD.
