For some, the holidays are all about frankincense and myrrh, while for others, they're all about Hallmark hunks and her. If you fall into the latter camp, you may want to make like Santa and get thee to New Jersey this December.
Christmas Con New Jersey has already revealed plans to reunite the cast of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation — Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, Randy Quaid and Juliette Lewis will all be there — along with 15 fan-favorite actors from across the Hallmark, Great American Family and Lifetime holiday cinematic universe. But PEOPLE now gets to exclusively reveal 14 more stars set to take the stage.
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixon: Move over. We're about to unleash our own list of Santa's helpers.
Melissa Joan Hart, Alicia Witt and Catherine Bell will be joined by fellow festive ladies Nikki DeLoach, Erin Cahill, Melissa Claire Egan, Danica McKellar, Katrina Law and Brooke D'Orsay.
As for the gents, Cameron Mathison, Kristoffer Polaha, Jesse Hutch, Will Kemp and Wes Brown will be decking, er, walking the halls of the Expo Center.
This lineup means a number of this year's holiday movie costars will be at the event together. D'Orsay and Kemp are paired up for A Not So Royal Christmas. The already announced Lacey Chabert will get to see Brown, her Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up costar.
And Cahill and Bell will get to say hello to their Christmas on Cherry Lane costar Jonathan Bennett.
Meanwhile. here's hoping Great American Family actors McKellar and Jen Lilley bring their dancing shoes. McKellar will be cutting a rug next month in Swing into Romance, while Lilley is costarring with Matthew Morrison in the upcoming A Paris Christmas Waltz.
Other stars previously announced include the Three Wise Men and a Baby gents — Tyler Hynes, Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell — as well as Kimberley Sustad, Victor Webster, Cindy Busby, Brennan Elliott, Autumn Reeser, Taylor Cole, Steve Lund, Jesse Metcalfe and Benjamin Ayres (Romance University gear, anyone?).
In addition to the stars Christmas Con is a winter wonderland complete with a tree lighting, a holiday market full of local artists and vendors, photo ops and other activities.
Christmas Con 2023 takes place Dec. 8–10 at the New Jersey Expo Center in Edison, New Jersey. Ticket information can be found here.

Top 100 Ladies of TV
Looking at old blog posts, many years ago I did a "100 favorite female characters" list, but I have met so many wonderful new ladies now that it is quite out of date and needs a major update to accommodate them. International Women’s Day seems like the perfect time to do so!
Only this time I'm restricting it to TV characters, or I will die of Overwhelm.
NOTE: This list is not in any kind of order, I just wrote them down as they came to mind. I considered alphabetical, but found it was nicer to keep everyone from a given show together. And rather than starting from scratch, I kept as much of the original list as I could and just added newer favorites on at the end, if you're wondering why some of these Very Old Fandoms are clustered at the top.

Movie Reviews:
JPV852: Only the second time seeing this (last was probably in the early 2000s on DVD) and thought it was okay but guess like others, this has grown on me. Laughed throughout even when the dialogue wasn’t the greatest, but I have an appreciation...

I can’t believe that they’re people attacking Sarah for standing up for herself and her cast mates. I completely agree with her. What Holly and Rose did was so childish. I lost a great amount of respect for them. Madeleine, Melonie and Sarah were always speaking highly of the OG’s and wanting them join the new show and the OG’s can’t even wish them well (Except Shannen). The thing that annoyed me the most was after Holly got called out she starts saying that they’re more important things in the world, girl your started this whole thing with that stupid video. Why couldn’t they be like Melissa Joan Hart, every time someone asked her about the new Sabrina all she ever said were good things about the show and the cast and was glad that the character could live on.

Christmas Reservations (Lifetime, 2019)
We’re really good at falling in love, aren’t we?
Starring: Melissa Joan Hart, Ricardo Chavira, Ted McGinley, Michael Gross
Plot Synopsis: It’s Christmas at the Treeline Ski Resort, where Holly is the event coordinator at her family lodge. She plans every event and keeps all the guests happy. But when her college sweetheart, now widowed with two children, checks in, Holly discovers she has her own reservations about life and love. (x)
In My Humble Opinion: Did you know that there are multiple kinds of reservations? For example, there’s type of reservations you have when you book a table at a restaurant or a room at a hotel early. Those are your typical reservations. Then there are the reservations you have about doing something, the reservations that hold you back or make you wonder if something is worth it, such as the reservations I have with Lifetime starting it’s Christmas movie slate in October. Those are the type of reservations this movie is obsessed with.
I know this because every character has some kind of monologue about the reservations they are currently struggling with. If you took a drink every time the word “reservations” was said, you would be wonderfully smashed by the end of the movie.
It’s not just Melissa Joan Hart who is dealing with reservations though, as the summary would have you believe. Christmas Reservations is a Love, Actually kind of movie with multiple plotlines about people having reservations. There’s the old Olympic skiier, a contest winner, a mother-daughter duo from India, a music teacher dealing with health issues, Melissa Joan Hart’s dad, and some random redhead boy. All of these characters have reservations about something and through the power of going on a ski vacation during Christmas, they are going to work through those reservations as that is what you do.
Christmas Reservations isn’t a transcendent experience. There’s nothing about it that really sticks out as being exceptionally fun or funny or heartwarming. However, it has enough that charm that watching it never really felt like a chore. It moves through its various plotlines at a clip, and if none of them really stick with you, well none of them get to be too grating either (though the mother-daughter from India plotline comes close). It helps that all of the performers have a decent amount of energy for the gig and don’t seem to be phoning it in.
They didn’t have reservations about.... okay, I’m done. I’m not going to use that word again for at least a week.
Watch If: You think Bigfoot lives above Whoville, if you have a favorite conifer, or if you have lose the room key to love.
Skip If: You’re Norwegian and hate skiing and sledding, if you are a forty-year old man who can think about chasing a dog around, or if your name is “See You on the Slopes”.
Final Rating: ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆
