India has urged its citizens travelling to or living in Canada to "exercise utmost caution".
The advisory comes a day after tensions escalated between the countries with each expelling a diplomat from the other side.
Canada said it was investigating "credible allegations" linking the Indian state with the killing of a Sikh separatist leader.
India strongly denied this, calling the allegations "absurd".
Analysts say relations between the countries, which have been strained for months, are now at an all-time low.
How India-Canada ties descended into a public feud
Why Western nations fear India-Canada row
On Wednesday, India's foreign ministry said it issued the advisory "in view of growing anti-India activities and politically-condoned hate crimes and criminal violence in Canada".
The Indian government has often reacted sharply to demands by Sikh separatists in Western countries for Khalistan, or a separate Sikh homeland.
The Khalistan movement peaked in India in the 1980s with a violent insurgency centred in Sikh-majority Punjab state.
It was quelled by force and has little resonance in India now, but is still popular among some in the Sikh diaspora in countries such as Canada, Australia and the UK.
Canada has the highest number of Sikhs outside Punjab and has seen several pro-Khalistan protests and demonstrations. In June, reports said India had raised a "formal complaint" with Canada about the safety of its diplomats there.
In Wednesday's statement, Delhi said that some recent threats were directed at its diplomats and some Indians "who oppose the anti-India agenda".
"Indian nationals are, therefore, advised to avoid travelling to regions and potential venues in Canada that have seen such incidents," it said.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Monday that intelligence agencies were investigating whether "agents of the government of India" were involved in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a Canadian citizen - India had designated him a terrorist in 2020.
Nijjar was shot dead in his vehicle by two masked gunmen outside a Sikh temple on 18 June in British Columbia.
"Any involvement of a foreign government in the killing of a Canadian citizen on Canadian soil is an unacceptable violation of our sovereignty," Mr Trudeau told the Canadian parliament on Monday.
India reacted strongly, saying that Canada was trying to "shift the focus from Khalistani terrorists and extremists" who had been given shelter there.
Some Indian media reports claimed the statement from Delhi followed a similar Canadian advisory for its citizens travelling to India. Canada's government confirmed its travel advice for India had been updated on Monday but said it had been "as part of pre-scheduled and routine maintenance in the section on travel health information".
"No new risk information has been added to the India TAA [Travel Advice and Advisories] page," a spokesperson told the BBC. Ottawa's advisory asks its citizens to "exercise a high degree of caution" because of the "risk of terrorist attacks throughout" India.

NEW DELHI, Nov 3 (Reuters) - India's capital New Delhi was wrapped in a thick layer of toxic haze on Friday and some schools were ordered closed as the air quality index (AQI) plummeted to the "severe" category.New Delhi again topped a real-time list of the world's most polluted cities compiled by Swiss group IQAir, which put the Indian capital's AQI at 640 in the "hazardous" category on Friday, followed by 335 in the Pakistani city of Lahore.Regional officials said a seasonal combination of lower temperatures, a lack of wind and crop stubble burning in neighbouring farm states had caused a spike in air pollutants. Many of New Delhi's 20 million residents complained of irritation in the eyes and itchy throats with the air turning a dense grey as the AQI hovered around 480 in some monitoring stations. An AQI of 0-50 is considered good while anything between 400-500 affects healthy people and is a danger to those with existing diseases."In my last 24 hours duty, I saw babies coughing, children coming with distress and rapid breathing," Aheed Khan, a Delhi-based doctor, said on social media platform X.There were fewer people in the city's parks such as Lodhi Garden and India Gate, popular with joggers.Residents snapped up air purifiers. One service centre for the appliances said there was a shortage of new filters and fresh stocks were expected on Monday.
Officials said they saw no immediate improvement in the air quality.
"This pollution level is here to stay for the next two to three weeks, aggravated by incidents of stubble burning, slow wind speed and cooling temperatures," said Ashwani Kumar, chairman of the Delhi Pollution Control Committee.
Farmers in the northern states of Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh typically burn crop waste after harvesting in October to clear their fields before sowing winter crops a few weeks later.
This year, attention on the worsening air quality has cast a shadow over the cricket World Cup hosted by India, with financial capital Mumbai also suffering from a spike in pollution levels.
Delhi hosts a World Cup match on Monday between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
A concentration of toxic PM2.5 particles, which are less than 2.5 microns in diameter and can cause deadly illness, was 53.4 times the World Health Organization's annual air quality guideline value in New Delhi on Friday, according to IQAir.
While junior schools in the capital were ordered shut for Friday and Saturday, they were open in the suburbs and children boarding school buses were forced to wear masks that had been put away since the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Poor air quality also caused respiratory problems, irritation in the eyes and restlessness in pet animals.
"Breathing trouble can develop into pneumonia or other ailments in younger animals. If possible, avoid taking pets out on morning walks for a few days till the air improves," said Prabhat Gangwar, a veterinarian at animal welfare NGO Friendicoes.

Pink Himalayan Salt
Pink Himalayan salt is a mineral-rich rock salt that is mined in the Punjab region of Pakistan. It is pink in color due to trace minerals and is commonly used as a food additive. Besides cooking, it is also used in spa treatments and as decorative lamps. Below are some common uses of pink Himalayan salt. Mineral content There are many types of salt available worldwide, but pink Himalayan salt has gained popularity in recent years due to increased media attention. This type of salt is marketed as being beneficial to health and nutritionally superior to ordinary table salt. However, there are very few studies to back up these claims. Several people claim that pink Himalayan salt can improve the condition of their skin and relieve sore muscles. Moreover, it is often used in salt lamps to purify air. These lamps contain large blocks of the salt and an inner light source that warms the salt. Some people also visit salt caves, which are natural or man-made, to treat respiratory or skin ailments. While this type of salt has a wide range of benefits, research supporting its non-dietary uses is still sparse. Pink Himalayan salt contains a number of trace minerals that help in different body processes. Magnesium, for example, is a vital nutrient for the heart, while Boron helps regulate the calcium metabolism in the body. Phosphorus, on the other hand, boosts the utilization of B complex vitamins. It also plays a vital role in the formation of DNA and RNA and in communication between body cells. Health benefits Pink Himalayan salt is a natural source of minerals and trace elements. Compared to table salt, which is highly refined and has more additives and artificial ingredients, Himalayan salt is unrefined and contains no harmful ingredients. It is also a great food additive, making it an excellent choice for cooking. Himalayan salt has a high heat retention capacity, making it suitable for cooking. Its ionic salt and trace elements help strengthen the human body. To use it, simply fill up a glass jar with water and sprinkle a quarter teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt in it. The jar should be covered with a plastic lid. You should also keep it away from heat. Pink Himalayan salt may also be used as a foot soak. Its magnesium content may help revitalize dry skin, which may be especially helpful during winter. It also balances pH levels, aids in digestion, and purifies the air. Some people find pink Himalayan salt beneficial for reducing respiratory problems. Exfoliating texture Pink Himalayan salt is beneficial for skin health, and it is an excellent exfoliant. Dead skin cells accumulate over time and can cause skin to look dull, rough, dry, or flaky. Exfoliation helps remove these cells, leaving your skin looking bright and radiant. Exfoliation can be an enjoyable experience, if done regularly. Pink Himalayan salt is a natural exfoliant with a hygroscopic nature, allowing it to absorb moisture and promote skin toner. Himalayan Salt has a detoxifying effect, and contains 84 different minerals and trace elements. Its high mineral content helps draw toxins from the skin and promotes the removal of bacteria. A salt body scrub can also include a little essential oil for a lovely scent. You can either choose a soothing blend or make your own. For sensitive skin, opt for a gentle blend. Other essential oil blends can be used on all skin types. Common uses While pink Himalayan salt may look and taste different, it is very similar to table salt. It is also very different in its composition. Table salt consists of sodium with added iodine and an anti-clumping agent called yellow prussiate of soda. It is also bleached, and may contain aluminum derivatives. Gargling with salt water is a common practice that helps prevent throat infections. To gargle, simply mix half a teaspoon with a cup of warm water. Pink salt can also be used in the form of a salt lamp, in which the pink tone creates a soothing ambiance. Many people find that using the salt lamp helps them relax and unwind. Other common uses of pink Himalayan salt include using it as a preservative in food and drinks and as an alternative treatment for respiratory and skin conditions. Pink Himalayan salt can also be used as a cooking surface. Large blocks of the salt are ideal for grilling or searing, and can impart a salty flavor to foods. You can purchase coarse or finely ground varieties of pink Himalayan salt. Coarse salt has bigger crystals and is easier to measure, but finely ground salt has more salt per volume.

6 bad habits to avoid while preparing for UPSC
Discover the game-changing approach for passing UPSC examinations, and say goodbye to those stressful last-minute cramming sessions!
Tumblr media
Preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) test is difficult. It demands dedication, effort, and a well-planned study schedule. However, even the best-intentioned hopefuls might slip into bad habits that jeopardize their prospects of success. This curated post will look at six bad behaviors you should avoid during your UPSC preparation journey.
Bad Habit 1 Procrastination
Procrastination, the greatest foe of productivity, reveals itself in the postponing of duties and the indulgence in little diversions. This behavior is especially dangerous for UPSC applicants since it breaks productive study sessions, creating a sense of last-minute urgency. Because the UPSC test is so important, procrastination might seriously impair one's ability to cover the material in its entirety and do well. To ensure full preparation and success in pursuing their goals, aspirants must meet and beat this opponent straight on, establishing strict study habits and fostering resilience in the face of temptation. and choose the best coaching in your area. I recommend that join Chetan Bharat Learning in Chandigarh Punjab They offer the best  UPSC coaching in Chandigarh
It entails deferring chores or activities and squandering time on unnecessary distractions. Procrastination might be damaging to UPSC applicants since it disrupts good study sessions and causes last-minute stress. To break this undesirable habit:
Divide your study tasks into tiny, achievable chunks. This will make them less intimidating and simpler to begin with.
Set deadlines for each work to instill a feeling of urgency and accountability.
Bad Habit 2: Distractions
Distractions are a huge difficulty for UPSC hopefuls since they take their focus away from critical study materials and prevent effective study sessions. Distractions, ranging from the constant buzz of social media updates to the appeal of non-essential work, can interrupt attention and prevent efficient preparation. Recognizing the influence distractions may have on their goals, aspirants must actively control their study settings, eliminate possible distractions, and develop the discipline required to sustain attention in the face of external stimuli. UPSC hopefuls may maximize their study efforts and stay on track to succeed in the competitive test by prioritizing their study objectives and implementing distraction-reduction tactics.
To minimize distractions and stay focused:
Create a dedicated study area devoid of potential distractions. This might be a calm spot in your home or a library.
Use productivity tools and applications to block distracting websites or set timers for concentrated study times.
Bad Habit 3: Lack of consistency
Lack of consistency is a severe obstacle for UPSC applicants, undermining the steady progress required to learn the large subject. The inconsistent nature of study sessions impedes the memory and comprehension of key topics, limiting applicants' capacity to thrive in the competitive examination. Recognizing the critical necessity of consistency, aspirants must emphasize regular and rigorous study regimens, allotting a certain time each day for full topic review. By developing a habit of consistency, candidates may maximize their study efforts, improve retention, and considerably increase their chances of succeeding in the difficult UPSC test.
To ensure consistency:
Create a daily study program and stick to it. Consider your study time non-negotiable.
Set reasonable goals and track your progress regularly. This will help you maintain motivation and accountability
Bad Habit 4: Neglecting physical and mental health
Neglecting your physical and mental health while studying for the UPSC examinations might be a bad habit. While achieving success in these difficult tests necessitates intense focus and hard effort, it is critical not to neglect one's well-being in the process. Ignoring physical activity, a good diet and mental relaxation can result in burnout, lower productivity, and even health concerns. Prioritizing self-care routines such as regular exercise, good eating habits, and mindfulness practices is critical for maintaining optimal physical and mental health, which will eventually improve productivity and performance throughout UPSC preparation. Here are a few tips
Prioritize sleep and exercise. Get enough rest and indulge in physical activity to refresh your mind and body.
Relaxation practices such as meditation or yoga might help you reduce tension and anxiety.
Bad Habit 5: Using only one study approach
When studying for UPSC examinations, relying entirely on one study strategy might be restricting. While it may appear easier to stick to a tried-and-true method, it might impede a thorough grasp and memory of the extensive curriculum. Everyone has a different learning style, and adopting a range of study methods, such as reading, taking notes, talking with peers, practicing past papers, and using visual aids, can dramatically improve understanding and memory retention. Using a variety of study approaches gives a more comprehensive understanding of the topic, boosting the likelihood of success in the UPSC examinations.M
To vary your research methods:
Read from many sources and mediums. This will help you get a broader perspective and reinforce your knowledge.
Participate in group discussions and simulated examinations. Interacting with other applicants and simulating exam-like scenarios will help you develop your analytical abilities.
Habit 6: Negative self-talk and self-doubt
Negative self-talk and self-doubt can significantly impair UPSC preparation efforts. Your thinking is an important part of succeeding in such tough tests, and allowing negative ideas to dominate can damage confidence and enthusiasm. Constant self-criticism or uncertainty in one's ability impedes effective learning and problem-solving. It is critical to identify and fight negative self-talk, replacing it with positive affirmations and a development mentality. Developing self-confidence and resilience is essential for overcoming obstacles and attaining success in UPSC examinations. Thus, cultivating a positive and inspiring inner dialogue is critical for retaining motivation and momentum throughout the preparation process.
To counteract this:
Create positive affirmations and express appreciation. Remind yourself of your strengths and express gratitude for the opportunity to pursue UPSC.
Surround yourself with people who believe in your ability and encourage you throughout difficult times.
Conclusion
In your quest to pass the UPSC test, and the best UPSC Institute in Chandigarh is Chetan Bharat Learning it is critical to identify and find all Questions and answers our expert teacher improves your learning skills and  You will be more successful if and follow you all the thing about health, vary study techniques, and cultivate a positive mentality. Remember that clearing the UPSC is more than simply studying hard; it's about building the correct habits and mentality to drive you forward

Not just Diwali, everything Hindu is the target | Project 2030 - 8 Nov 2023
In 2010, they banned adverts for fireworks in Delhi. By 2023, fireworks are banned across India between Sept-Dec. By 2030, they can be banned altogether!
Fireworks contribute towards 2% of air-pollution in Delhi. Burning farm-excess in Punjab contributes 40%. Guess which ban is actively supported across the nation?
This is not my rant - its now become a fact. Hindus can't celebrate Diwali with traditional fireworks not due to a law passed by the democratically elected government - but by the SC that has listened to PILs filed by lobbying groups.
Its not just fireworks and Diwali though. Every Hindu festival, from Holi, Durga Puja to even Rakshabandhan is under regular attack - year after year. Its very possible that just like Diwali, SC could order how Hindus celebrate these festivals too. Even our traditional foods are said to be bad for our health and should be removed from our dining tables.
Are animals, women, children, environment only threatened during Hindu festivals?
No adverse comments are made against Eid where millions of animals are slaughtered in the open by amatures, causing untold misery and polluting the rivers by washing their blood directly from the street into the water-works.
No one cares how many trees are cut for christmas, using arable land to grow a tree that is discarded after a couple of weeks. Waste of land, fertilisers, transport cost, disposal nightmare are never discussed in any newspaper with regards to Christmas that is celebrated across the globe! Surely, that has an enormous environmental impact too!
No one cares about unhealthy consumption of excess food during Eid, Thanks-Giving or Christmas. Giving chocolates for every celebration - from Easter to mother's day - is actively encouraged by media, but laddoos during Ganesh puja are looked down upon. Indian snacks are seen as unhealthy, but western snacks made with chemical preservatives are perfectly OK for every occasion. Adverts, articles in the media, cooking shows on TV - they all carry this narrative.
As I have said time and again, its not the firework - what I am against is the hypocrisy of this sort of narrative setting. We already have the courts banning aspects of our celebrations. You and I wont even realise when that will become a law and be imposed on us. Sadly, we don't even  realise that we are complicit in making this happen through apathy, tacit support and silence.
