Maybe I'm seeing things, but it think that in order to make Nui Harime creepier Studio Trigger intentionally almost never animated in-between frames for her, she either snaps from one keyframe to another or slides around like she's being dragged by a mouse cursor.
Her facial expressions are sometimes just her mouth getting stretched.
