How the au works

Currently you lay on the cold marble floor and purple (f/t) leaves a trail showing the (h/c) crawled their way to the bathroom despite being in a weak state, unfortunately you are on the second stage of Hanakaba.
An opposite version of hanahaki, the flowers grow outside of the victim instead grow insides in short is like you dead of old age.
Knocking sounds break the quiet room as you sit up against the wall. It continued for a few minutes until the person from the outside lost their patient and used the spare key to open the door.
“ (Y/N) we are up for a meeting with the rest and the higher ups needs you to be prese…nt ”
“ Huh…? Why are there flowers all over the floor..? ”
You ignore the sound of footsteps and a blurry black and pink-red figure who rushes up as your consciousness begins to fade away.
“ Pss!.. (Y/n)…! ”
“ Wake up..! ”
“I’m.. up… ”
The (h/c) rub their eyes tiredly while the purple haired girl asks in worries.
“ Did you stay up again? It’s not good for your health if you keep continuing like that.. ”
“ Nah.. it’s possible low sugar i forgot to bring some for lunch. ”
“ I see… Do you mind if I bring some sweets for you? Sleeping in Himeko-sensei’s class isn’t a good choice. ”
Sweets… from Mei..? SWEETS FROM MEI?!
You can’t help but feel your ears start to burn. The tiredness is washed away but your mind keeps repeating the same three words.
“ Y-Ye-a.. I-uh.. really appreciate it i-if you will.! ”
HELL why would you start to stutter right now?! IN THE FREAKING CLASS RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU CRU- NO! YOUR TARGET!
You ruffle your hair but your fingertips felt something odd in your hair, something soft and small, a few small bumps then the school bell rings and everyone gets back to their dormitories.
The (h/c) went back to their dormitories which they shared with Kiana Kaslana, Raiden Mei, Bronya Zakychik, Himeko Murata and the Overseer’s granddaughter, you open the door to find Kiana clinging on Mei again.
“ Mei-senpai! What are we having for dinner tonight? ”
“ Let’s see… the ingredients are enough for some fried chicken and (f/f)..”
“ Kiana-chan? Do you mind going out to buy some groceries? ”
“ Anything for Mei-senpai! ”
That girl Kiana Kaslana.. if she wasn’t The World Serpent's lord’s granddaughter you could have already confess, aside being the granddaughter she was the vessel for the Herrscher of Void too and nothing can get worse than that.
It’s not like you don't have the guts to do it but if it isn’t your job’s duty to watch over them it seems training overnight is the best choice for now.
“ hey blockhead! Can you move? You are blocking the door. ”
“ You little Paramecium.. could you repeat that? ”
“ (y-(y/n)? ”
“ No, the one you called me a few seconds ago. ”
“ Blockhea-d…? ”
You smile calmly before you slam your book at Kiana’s face, knocking her out in the process, change of plan to “ buy groceries for Mei ” since you knocked Kiana out.
“ Opps? heh.. ”
“ (y/n).. Did you knock out Kiana again? ”
“ No?~ ”
Mei turns her head around and catches you red-handed while dragging Kiana to her bedroom and the (h/c) smile awkwardly at the purple haired girl.
“ Just.. put her on the couch i'll tell you what i need before you head off. ”

It’s getting slightly worse by the months.
The flowers grow on you as if you are the main nutrition, Purple (f/t) can be seen on your back and front here a little and there.
Everyday the dizziness gets worse to the point you fainted during a training you thought was nothing until the Substitute doctor broke the news for you.
“ Ugh.. ”
“ I see you are awake. ”
The (h/c) turns their head to the source of the sound, a white haired girl with golden eyes stares at them beside her is a small bottle with pink blue gradient liquid inside it.
“ Do you know why the flowers are growing on you? ”
“ No.. ”
*sigh..*
“ I should say you are a bit lucky on this one. ”
“ The one you got is ‘ Hanakaba ’ , an opposite of ‘ Hanahaki ’ or what some people call as throw up flower illness. ”
Now you are very confused, you do know what ‘ Hanahaki ’ is but what the heck is ‘ Hanakaba’ ?!
“ As I said, it is the opposite of ‘ Hanahaki . The flower grows around the victim's body instead of growing inside and slices the victim’s throat when they are rejected. ”
“ It sounds no difference to me.. ”
The Substitute doctor threw the small bottle which you caught it in one hand.
“ Now listen carefully, you have four options since you are on the first stage. ”
One. Confess to the person you love before it's too late,

Two. If you want to keep waiting then take the liquid from that bottle in your hand when you get to stage three to slow down the process but there’s side effects.

Three. You can take the cure instead of getting the surgery. You can still remember the one you once loved but there's a chance of relapse, I can't promise what will happen when it relapses.

Four. You can go ahead watch your crush start off a family with someone else that’s not you while slowly erase from this world.
“ Choose wisely (Y/n) I have to go. ”
“ Wait! Before you go.. could you tell me your name? ”
“ A fellow Kaslana, that's all you need to know. ”
The golden-eyed girl’s body disappears into a small cube and the door opens revealing worried Mei and Kiana.

Au! Brainrot idea reader addition
Tw: grammar, English is not my first language so bare with me
hanahaki! Reader ( other way around )
But what if the flower grows outside of the body instead of inside?
Like how FlowerFell Frisk died but the other way around?
The s/o color flowers/slowly grows around their body where the reader can cover it up, and like slowly dying but no pain.
Also a longer life span. ( dont mind me, i’m trying to think in a nice way)
First stage -
Small/midsize s/o color roses can be seen in their back and chest, then small bits of roses hiding in their hair, starting to feel dizzy,
Second stage
Half way s/o roses covered one of their eyes same with body it has reach down to their arm and leg slowly spread to the left/right part who is has been cover by the flowers.
feeling tired through out the days.
( im totally not make the reader stay inside for this au) - pale skin - weaken legs make them harder to move around without falling

Third stage ( death stage)
s/o roses can be seen everywhere on their body except the face ( eyes are cover with roses so they are blinded)
