I hate HATE that the final song in the HLD soundtrack is called Panacea because Drifter doesn't get his OWN panacea. He's victorious yes but in the end he doesn't get what he needs most. I'm about to ugly cry just thinking about it

LET HIM LIVE.#DON'T PLAY A SONG REFERENCING A CURE-ALL WITH A MAN DYING ON SCREEN PLEASE 😭 I'm not emotionally strong #enough for that #not art #hyper light drifter #listening to the HLD soundtrack on shuffle and I shit you not if Panacea starts playing I'm going to choke on my own sobs no joke #literally the only like. fictional character death that ever made me THIS emotional was the Hollow Knight #the first few times and then I accidentally desensitized myself to it :') it still hurts lore-wise though #but god Drifter? he makes me hit the floor and WRITHE I become such a massive sob baby #AND FOR A COMPLETELY WORDLESS GAME TOO. dude that is POWERFUL #the BUILDUP TO IT ALL #the climax the sense of dreaded victory because you have a FEELING. you KNOW that something will happen.
