Issue 42 just came out, so let's talk about it!

So while everything with the Restoration and the Deadly Six is going on, we get to see what's up with Starline...

Hey, that's the garden Silver and Blaze worked on in the 2019 annual! Also, I like how even though he wants to be better than him, Starline is still a fanboy for Eggman and his work :3

Well sh*t, this escalated quickly.

So the Deadly Six arrive at Restoration HQ, and they start fighting their forces (or I guess you could say their... Sonic Forces? HAHALOLXD).

She did the pose! SHE DID THE POSE!

Also, that secret entrance that Starline found just so happens to also lead to the Restoration HQ, so he's here now too!

Also, a thought just occured to me... If Starline and Eggman don't know where Restoration HQ is, than how do the Deadly Six know where it is? This is obviously the first time they've actually been inside it, meaning they probably didn't go in it during the Metal Virus, so does that mean it's location is just common knowledge to everyone BUT Eggman? Also, now that Starline knows where it is, is he going to use that knowledge against them?

Anyway, Jewel, Tangle, and Whisper are also hanging out in the main control room of the HQ...

Tails, what were you expecting? Sonic ALWAYS get there first cuz he's f*cking Sonic!

So while Sonic is on his way to the HQ, Starline confronts Belle!

So now I'm wondering... Was that hair he got from the chateau a while back actually Belle's and not Tails' like I thought it was? I mean, Belle (I'm assuming) doesn't actually have DNA, so if it was hers, then how would Starline use it to learn about her? Maybe they'll pull a Shadow the Hedgehog and we'll find out that Eggman/Tinker used someone elses or maybe even his own DNA to create her or something like that, but that's just speculation.

So while Starline makes his great escape with Belle in tow, Sonic finally shows up to kick some Zeti!

And that's it for Issue 42!

One last thing I'd like to point out is that I recently heard that Ian Flynn confirmed that the 30th anniversary special was basically this year's annual, so now we don't have to worry too much about an annual getting revealed until next year. Honestly, I think it would have been nice if we got both the anniversary special AND an annual for this year, but I understand that they've been in a very tight time crunch lately, so I also don't blame them for wanting to cut down the work load.
