What do they all think of eachother?

Sparrow: Well, I think it should be kind of obvious what I think of the trio down in the jail.

Spindle, fake whispering: He hates them.

Sparrow, side-eyeing Spindle: I don’t hate them. But they’re not exactly great people, so I think it’s sufficient to say that I’m not exactly a fan.

Sparrow: As for Dream, I’m…not entirely sure. Look, I know he’s an awful person and has the blood of hundreds, if not thousands of people on his hands, but…he was also my boss for god knows how long. I always trusted him. And it’s a bit hard to change my own opinion of him that drastically.

Sparrow: And Gouge is a whole other can of worms. I can’t believe someone that close to me could do something so….horrifying.

Spindle: I dunno I personally think they’re all shitheads.

Pulaski: I don’t know much about any of them, but the snippets I’ve heard have given me a…less than ideal opinion of them.

(None of them really know Hunter unfortunately)

Slash: Oh give us 5 minutes in a room with bird boy and you’ll see exactly how we feel about him.

Byte: God what I would give to gut his fucking ass.

Pluto: He’s such a fucking bitch. We all hate him. I mean look at us! He fucking locked us up! He’s a dick!

Slash: And don’t even get me started on ‘Lord Dream.’ What a narcissistic asshole. I may not hate him as much as Finch, but he’s a very close second.

Byte: Meh I hate Finch way more. Slash has some weird vendetta against Dream-

Slash: Because he’s a fucking prick! You know he is!

Byte: -but I don’t really care that much. I mean I want him dead but it could be quick for all I care.

Byte: Now Hunter, ohhhh he’s a close second

Pluto: Oh we all hate Hunter. He’s so annoying. He needs to learn when to shut the hell up and piss off.

Slash: Yeah he’s an annoying bastard. We’ve tried to skin him but he’s too damn slippery.

Byte: Gouge is pretty cool though.

Slash: Yeah we’re chill with Gouge. She hangs with us sometimes.

Pluto: Used to, anyways.

Slash: Stupid fucking bird bitch.

Delusion: I’m…unsure of how to feel about Finch at the moment. While he did overthrow me, I do believe he was just doing what he thought was best. He’s wrong, of course, but I understand he wasn’t acting out of malicious intent towards me.

Delusion: And he has given me rather decent accommodations for the situation, and has given me enough magic suppressants that I don’t have to worry as much about getting burned by my aura. So I don’t hate him, which would surprise many given what he did. When I am inevitably released, I may even give him another chance at loyalty. He’ll have to earn it back, of course, but he’ll be allowed the chance.

Delusion: As for the others? I am less than fond of Slash and Byte. They’re clearly negative influences on Pluto, and need to be disposed of. I do have high hopes for Pluto, after all. I believe he and Gouge would get along well.

Delusion: And I believe it should be obvious how I feel about Gouge. She’s a very loyal worker and has thusly earned my respect.

Delusion: Now Hunter is an interesting case. He is rather useless to me and I will likely be rid of him in the long run, but at the moment he is proving a tad useful, so he can stay.

Gouge: Do I look like I give two shits about them? Fuck off.

(Gouge won’t admit it but she does like the horror squad, maybe even more than she likes Delusion. She thinks Hunter is annoying, and dreams of all the horrifying things she could do to Finch when she breaks out. She hates his guts.)

Hunter: Oh I really like everyone! Though I really do wish Pluto, Byte and Slash would stop trying to hurt me…

Well. Almost everyone. I’m not entirely sure how I would’ve genderbent Rahni, since they’re agender and rather androgynous. What’s the opposite of agender? Pangender?? I’m not into gender or bending I don’t know how this works beyond binary genders and presentations

But anyways, to actually answer your question:

Nothings really different. They just have different genders. And some are less “suddenly snappy” once a month, whereas others ARE now “oddly moody” once a month. That might have some bearing on how often some of them do fucked up things, but not much. And honestly all the ones who gets a little extra murderous on their period are so valid

Probably the biggest difference between relationships, is that once in a while Hunter would get extra touchy and cuddly, and that made Byte want Out even more. Regardless of the reason behind it, he was very clear that he didn’t like touching, and Hunter never listened.

I’m hiding all the heroforge things and the little notes under the cut, so this doesn’t take up too much space

- Fester, being a demon in a 15 year old’s body, didn’t get much of a change at all.

- The first person who calls Pulaski a milf wins me $5 (not ‘owes,’ wins.)

- sparrow’s hair. Gave me problems,,,but she looks nice.

- why the fuck does slash look like a twink now. I actually gave a little MORE muscle for the illusion of simply Different Toning but he looks like a twink what the fuck

- ALSO Slash has a torn ear. She’s got one in her normal ref, too. I see we all collectively forgot about that NSJSHSH

- 💞✨Spindle✨💞

- OH Delusion’s hair is actually for realsies like that now. Normally I use that style becuase none of the actually short styles look right for DS Dream, and Boy Delusion is supposed to have hair much closer to normal DS Dream. But now it’s actually THAT style

- You may also note that Delusion’s had the most change. This is because I wanted to give her heels, and I was sure she wouldn’t be stupid enough to wear heels in a fucking fight. It’s for in the office.

Sparrow: Well, I can tell you that some of us aren't making any Christmas plans, given they'll be spending the holidays in max security.

Sparrow: But I do plan on giving them something. Probably nothing more than some holiday foods. Cookies, doughnuts...depends on their preference.

Pluto: Where the FUCK did you come from??

Slash: What do you think we even could do? Are you blind? We're in a cell.

Byte: We were going to commit some holly jolly crimes, but apparently Sparrow doesn't want us to have a fun Christmas.

Pluto: JR continues to be run by stuck up, bitchy, boring birds.

Delusion: I don't see the point in honoring a god that doesn't help their people, anyhow.

Hunter: Oh. Er...sort of?

Hunter: I...want to make some yummy deserts, but I think...well, something- something usually goes wrong every year.

Orange: Tell them it's your dead brother. You know, the one you killed? Go on, Blue. Tell them.

Hunter: ...It's...generally the same something.

Hunter: I try my best to work around it, but it's not...I can't really prevent it.

Spindle, wrapping his arm around Sparrow's shoulder: We're going to do Christmas and Chanukah.

Sparrow, rolling his eyes, amused: Spindle found out that doughnuts were a tradition Chanukah food and decided to buy about twenty boxes of them.

Pulaski, chuckling: We had to give some away.

Pulaski: The children were happy to help take them off our hands.

Spindle: It was totally worth it.

Pulaski, chuckling: Well, anyways; I'd like to make a nice dinner for everyone. It doesn't have to be holiday specific, if I make something we can all eat, I think.

Pulaski: It'd be nice to make a traditional side dish for both holidays. Desert, too. I think that'd make it even better.

Spindle: Sparrow and I still have to figure out how to, like, combine stuff so it's not weird or insensitive or whatever.

Spindle: ...I'm also hoping I won't burst into flames trying to participate, too.

Sparrow, kissing Spindle's cheek: Oh, don't worry; we'll just douse you in eggnog if that happens.

Sparrow: Oh, and Champion's doing alright. Aren't you, Champ?

Champion: Happy barks and excited tail wags

Sparrow, smiling: Good boy.

Does hunter, gouge, sparrow, pulaski, and hacker believe delusion is a god?

Debatable, definitely not, probably not, probably not, and...debatable.

Spindle/Hacker might, prior to being kidnapped by Fester. After that though, and after Sparrow and Pulaski help him regain his senses, he learns about what Delusion's been up to along with Sparrow, and any illusions he may have once held are gone now. Sparrow probably worked closely enough with him to see his flaws, even before finding out what he was ordering Gouge to do to keep JR's image pristine.

Hunter's a bit deranged so he could go either way.

Gouge I think probably doesn't believe in any god and would scoff at the idea of Delusion being a god, except that'll probably get back to him and she knows he 100% believes he is one so she just tries really really hard not to react when someone says something about it. She's giving herself a headache with how hard she's trying not to roll her eyes.

i wonder how often people in JR debate the existence of capital-G God.

Does anyone in H!DS have nightmares, and if so how do they handle it when they wake up? Like, what do they do to get their mind off it or calm down.

Actually though, I think only Pluto, Hunter, and post-good ending Spindle and maybe Sparrow have nightmares.

Hunter and Spindle's are the worst, and Hunter usually just hides in bed and hugs his stuffies tight. There's not much else he can do.

Pluto usually has nightmare about Slash and Byte abandoning him. Generally he'll just snuggle up more and try to remember that they would be here if they wanted to sell him out to Delusion.

Sparrow and Spindle have nightmares about Spindle having a bad relapse into Mindless, Murderous Demon. Sparrow's are more from the context of him not being able to help Spindle snap out of it. Spindle's generally involve much more graphic details of how that relapse happens (usually involving Fester returning), and him slaughtering his loved ones. Sparrow doesn't get freaked out enough to wake up Spindle (intentionally or otherwise), and he probably hasn't told Spindle about the nightmares. Spindle usually wakes in a panic though and Sparrow holds him and soothes him and promises he'll make sure that never happens.

..Actually, Pulaski probably has nightmare too. Of the horror's he witnessed while stuck with Fester. He also keeps that to himself.

What are horror ds cast weird but cute quirks

oh god. um. i'm about to make shit up on the spot be warned. also they may not fit your specifications very well

Spindle probably makes animals noises ranging from dog to goat to cat. Growling, barking, purring, bleeting. The barking and bleeting is entirely unintended and he gets really embarrassed by it. He gets embarrassed by the fact that he can purr now, too, but Sparrow thinks its adorable

delusion would probably flutter his wings some when happy, if he wasn't 1. squashing all of his emotions and 2. didn't have a stick up his ass and think it was unprofessional to show happiness like that anyways. idk if that's really weird but definitely a lot of people in JR would think it's cute.

the horror squad imitate each other constantly. not in a mocking way just like. You ever pick up a little habit from someone you hang out with a lot? like a way of speaking or some kind of body language? it's a bit like that. It's not generally a conscious choice. They do it so much though that they're scarily in-sync a lot. It freaks a lot of people out, though it's kinda sweet that they know each other so well that they can predict what the others will do so well.

slash's sticky fingers have become more of a way to get Pluto and Byte things as presents. she will also mug people to get these presents if she saw they had something she thinks her friends will like.

Byte has a yarn addiction and has a huge stash of yarn in her room. this is actually pretty normal for people into fibercrafts but she has a big ass shelf in her room for all her fuckin yarn and the other two are kind of afraid of how much she has. and because she and the other two are thieves, her stash is much bigger than most people's.

Pluto shifts a lot in his sleep, and one time when they were sleeping together he accidentally pushed Slash off the bed. They all woke up from the big thump. Slash just slowly blinked up at the other two and could not figure out how she ended up on the floor. They still tease Pluto for it.

If the real Bobby was still alive, and she'd escaped the cult she grew up with, she'd still be insane about minecraft. possibly to a more intense degree because it helps her forget about the shit that happened to her.

fester itself does not understand how a lot of human things work. no one in-universe finds this cute or endearing but you guys might. this is the monster lover website after all

Gouge bites her lip when she's concentrating on something. She should probably keep some chap stick with her to deal with the consequences of that but she, much like someone I know (me), can't be assed to even though the dry cracking and peeling lips are really bothering her. also she sets the chap stick down and forgets where she puts it.

Hunter has a lot of weird quirks. he's been alone with a ghost for far too long. Whether or not these quirks are cute is entirely a matter of personal opinion and varies often in-universe. byte thinks they're all annoying and some of them are maybe a little scary. New Friends sometimes find them endearing or off-putting. The most obvious one is him looking off to the side often and making faces like he's listening to someone talk.

Rahni had a habit of biting their tongue when worried, in such a way that their tongue sometimes would poke out of their mouth. Delusion found this quite endearing.

Pulaski is a little neurotic about eating Right(TM). He always was pretty serious about that, but it's only gotten worse since Fester. In the good ending, as they work on rehabbing Spindle and getting him to a point where he can eat normal human food again, Pulaski is intently watching his reactions to food and making notes and talking to doctors to make sure that he makes something that's good for Spindle. Spindle and Sparrow are unaware of how much effort he's putting into this.

For some reason i feel like Sparrow chews on his pens/pencils. he's trying to break the habit but he hasn't been successful yet. in the good ending he'll (jokingly) blame all the chewed up pen caps on Spindle and Spindle goes 'yeah sorry i got hungry :/'

how would the h!ds react to someone flirting w them ( I'm really interested in how Gouge and the horror squad will 😭 )

Delusion may or may not notice. If he does, he’ll probably mostly ignore it.

Hunter would get very excited and flirt back. Also you’re probably never going to get rid of him

Gouge and the Horror Squad will probably not be interested. Gouge doesn’t really like people much, and the Horror Squad…they don’t trust people. For good reason.

Gouge will probably give you a withering look.

If anyone flirting with the Horror Squad, it’s probably one of the other members of the horror squad. And if it’s not, you’re either really weird, creepy, or just insane. They’ll either give you a weird look and dip or just kill you.

Spindle, assuming he’s in his right mind, would flirt back. how exactly he flirts back depends on whether he’s a human or a demon, because if he’s a demon he’s going to assume you’re into that kinda thing and he’ll probably make sure to grin so you can see all his sharp teeth and he’ll casually show off his claws and stuff.

Sparrow will largely ignore you, I think. He’s either decided that Spindle tricked him into letting him free, or he’s trying to save Spindle, or he’s dating Spindle. In the first scenario, he’s kinda hurt and not ready to give someone else that kind of a chance. In the second, he’s a little too distracted to even notice. In the third, he’s uhh. Taken. …although, he might be a little more receptive if you are also flirting with Spindle.

Pulaski is going to gently pat your shoulder and go “that’s enough, son”

the only people who would flirt with Fester are teenagers (15 year old body and all) and uh,,,anyone who would be an appropriate age for the ancient demon inhabiting said 15 year old body has no business flirting with someone who appears to be a 15 year old. So.

does Hunter ever met Sparrow?? ( also, who net the creepypasta squad ( idk how they r called in here ) aside Sparrow ( well he only met Hacker(?) ( I also forgot abt his name in h!ds ))

is someone masochist of the cast?? ( weird question but i just feel like there is at least one person or its all gonna be a headcanon ( tats also includes do u allow headcanons on the h!ds??))

Was Dani ( I think tat was their name or it was just a meme ) was in a hospital?? ( I mean probably which just includes 2 more questions: Does Dani like was abt to commit it? ( aka yk ) Did Delusion like have a some kind of close relationship ( aka in love ) w Dani?? Also did Delusion took Dani to the JR Hospital like in DS ( aka if that whole thing happened )

well if wheeze and I have a headcanon for the H!DS fools it’s basically canon so

1. Pluto LOVES Halloween. Unfortunately for everyone else that’s his favorite time of year to do lots of murder. And ofc Slash and Byte always go with him. People are out and about, there’s lots of sick decorations to see, AND they get to dress up lots!! Very easy to hide their identities.

2. Hunter probably has met Sparrow; he hangs out in JR enough that he’s probably been there when Sparrow comes to get an assignment or report on one or whatever. Or he’s wandered around and run into Sparrow a few times. Either way, yeah; they’ve met.

3. So far, no one else of importance has met the Creepypasta Squad (they’re called the same thing here, though I would like to give them a new name,,,). Also H!DS Hacker’s nickname is Spindle! spindle my beloved

Sparrow also hasn’t met Fester/Bobby; only Spindle and Pulaski/Randy.

4. That’s…a good question? I don’t think so. Fester, maybe?? In a ‘wooHOOHoohoho pain is HILARIOUS’ kind of way? No one else is, though. Gouge, Slash, Byte, and Pluto are just sadistic, Delusion is just delusional. Hunter I don’t think handles pain well at all. Pulaski and Spindle probably have relatively high pain tolerances due to their unfortunate time stuck with Fester (And Spindle’s is probably even higher thanks to the demon thing). Sparrow’s probably about average about it. So. Yeah. If anyone is a masochist, it’s probably Fester.

And headcanon everyone if you wanna. If there’s something we’re really uncomfortable with we’ll say something, but it’s not like we could police your thoughts and headcanons even if we wanted to

5. Honestly, mostly due to how little attention we spare for Ani even in normal DS, H!DS Ani is very neglected. They exist, and hypothetically their story is similar to normal Ani, but since we forget normal Ani a lot anyways I’m not sure we’ll ever like, fully flesh out their backstory

Horror DS Fun Facts :)

In-universe, Cross, Nightmare, and Error still just the Meme Squad. When they’re with other Dreamswap MVs, they’re the Horror Squad

All the signature bladed weapons are significantly more vicious looking than normal. I can’t show it in hero forge but Dream’s sword has notches in it, and Nightmare’s scythe (and the spearhead blades) are serrated.

It’s pretty common for the Meme Squad to hear someone talking about how Nightmare’s not real. It pisses him off but he doesn’t usually do anything about it. Cross and Error are pissed on his behalf but he doesn’t do anything so he won’t either.

one time though some Semi Important Guy (gender neutral) on the news was talking about them and called Cross and Error ‘fantatics’ who probably think that by killing enough people they can bring Nightmare back from hell or something. It’s common for them to do that to people who piss them off. They choose memes or vines they find ‘fitting’ to the situation and recreate it and take a picture before killing them

Nightmare has an untraceable phone that he sometimes uses to send Dream pictures of a recent murder. The pictures are also recreations of a Funny Internet Thing. Dream can’t exactly say he has contact with the Meme Squad and he can’t just say they did it, so he has to find actual evidence. Usually when they do this they’ve taken extra care to hide the evidence. They very much enjoy watching him struggle

dream and nightmare have this weird thing going on where Dream gets irritated on nightmare’s behalf whenever a murder is pinned on him for no reason other than there being little evidence of who could’ve done it, and Nightmare always wants Dream to figure it out before anyone else does. it’s like Sherlock and Moriarty but more fucked up somehow

the only thing really keeping Ink from joining the meme squad is a pay check and a nice apartment

Terry was originally bought with several other tarantulas to help Ink with an 'interrogation’ with someone who has a horrible fear of spiders, but she got attached to Terry. Occasionally he still helps out. terry he beloved. terry my beloved also but only bc i don’t actually have to meet him i don’t vibe with spiders

Ink has a lot of drawings with Terry. Some of them are very cute. Some of them are with him tearing into the carcass of some kind of bug.

Dream could theoretically set a full corrupt on fire with his aura. He wouldn’t on purpose unless they pissed him off but his aura is just that reactive. Hopefully Toasty doesn’t happen here, for Jet and Obsidian’s sakes. or really everyone’s tbh there’s a lot that could go horribly wrong

the Meme Squad know that they’re not entirely sane exactly but they think that all they need is each other. It’s very sweet but nah y'all needs some mf therapy. Mostly related, they have a lot of separation anxiety and always sleep in a pile. Always. They’re almost very soft.

You know how friends jokingly threaten each other like 'i’m going to beat the shit out of you.’ sometimes? The Meme Squad does that but more murdery. it’s the same thing effectively they’re just unhinged

The Meme Squad found an abandoned warehouse and made it a death maze with traps. They will occasionally bring random people here and hunt them through the maze. The maze is decorated to look like the Backroom because they’re a bunch of nerds still

kevin’s favorite pie is chicken pot pie. it has no real effect on his Ultimate Form, he just prefers it more than other kinds of pie. nightmare is only slightly concerned

Nightmare’s very very good at sneaking around and hiding. The most recent photo of him his from when he was just starting to become a multiversal menace. so it’s fucking old. And he’s had decades to get better. He can become unseen very very easily. because he’s so good though he had to teach Error and Cross his ways because otherwise they were going to get caught. They still get a lot closer than Nightmare used to when he was on his own but they never really do.

trick or treating is very dangerous. Most people just have Halloween parties and no one unfamiliar is let in. Unfortunately ever since the rumors started going around that Nightmare died people decided it must be safe to go out again. Fortunately there are a lot universes and the meme squad is only three people and they aren’t going to split up, so even with them jumping AUs frequently during trick or treating hours, there’s a pretty low chance that they’ll find yours!

They always dress up as horror movie villains. This would be super helpful in identifying them, except they always choose the ones that are super popular and that a lot of people will be wearing.

Ink’s drawings of her her victims are very realistic and they’re not usually exaggerated. It’s terrifying but it’s fine. She also draws a lot of Terry and some of them are very nice and cute and then others are of him tearing gory pieces off of a bug he’s eating

also sometimes she draws terry helping with murders but those are all just made up. it still scared Finch in the Good Ending though so before Terry was brought to Ink’s cell he made sure terry wasn’t actually a demon spider. He is not! he’s just a Little Guy. but after blue and bobby finch has good reason to be concerned

While Ink’s in the max security area, most of her drawings are of the horrible things she’s going to do to Finch before she kills him if she ever gets out. Slowly over the course of her therapy sessions they become more of just Terry. also she lets terry out of his enclosure to wander around the cell frequently and lets him hang out with her

There’s actually no reason Red Sky can’t happen after Delusional. I won’t go into but we can call that the Everything’s Gone To Absolute Shit Ending And Everyone Dies

no one knows anything about the real bobby.

Bobby fucking cheats in Minecraft btw. On single player worlds that’s fine but he does it in public servers too. Constantly. he has all the hypixel pets and outfits and he did not get those fairly. he’s got the mvp+ or vip+ or whatever’s the highest thing there too and he’s not really supposed to but he does. he keeps getting banned but he can easily make more accounts. he doesn’t really care he just wants to make people miserable. he absolutely trolls too

Randy will sometimes hear Bobby laughing in his room. This would not be concerning however his default laugh is 'evil cackling’. fortunately he’s just trapping some villagers in a burning building, or making another player suffer for finding him in hide and seek. at least he’s not murdering people through their computers. as. far as randy knows. he’s not going to ask though he doesn’t want to know

Hacker, once he’s able to eat junk food again, eats so much he gets sick. Finch tried to tell him that would happen but he wanted the cheetos. the doritos. the good shit. he doesn’t really regret it

Final Girl Finch ending

fuuuuck yeeaaaaah

favorite ending for the name alone

but also Hacker actually gets saved and good things happen

This ending relies on a chance encounter between Finch and Randy at idk walmart or whatever and Finch recognizing Randy

it’s like that spiderman pointing meme but randy’s sweating nervously and Finch is Approaching

he’s like “Hey you’re That Guy that helped Hacker escape right?” and Randy goes “…nnnnnno…” y'know like a liar. this results in Randy getting interrogated in the middle of target or wherever. And i mean the funny version of interrogate that’s ‘Insistently Asking Questions And Not Letting The Person Go’ and not Ink’s version of interrogation

Randy ends up telling him everything and then he’s gotta fuckin go or bobby’s probably going to come looking for him and he doesn’t want Finch to end up like Hacker because of him too, but Finch goes ‘whoa hold tf gimme your phone i’m giving you my number text me when you get home’

Randy does and then Finch is just like ‘ok cool. i’ve got an idea’ and then just doesn’t text again for ages

Until one day Randy gets a text from him that’s like ‘when are you going to be out next’ and they meet up and Finch reveals many many months worth of research into Demony Shit and he goes ‘we’re getting you and Hacker out of there’

and then it happens

there’s like a boss battle but through the power of being Just Some Fuckin Guy in a Horror Movie (world) he’s become The Protagonist and has the power of impulsiveness, dumbassery, and modern day technology on his side

Randy brings Hacker out of his room and without Bobby there the runes they have aren’t working super well so Hacker’s very Confused and not entirely with it, but slowly he comes back and he recognizes Finch and they have a very heartfelt reunion that involves lots of hacker crying and apologizing for never texting him back like he said he would and Finch is just like “hacker you got kidnapped and turned into a demon why are you apologizing for that of all things”

Hacker’s going to have some issues for a while but he gets better! The physical changes he’s stuck with but his mental state recovers and soon he’s almost like how he was before.

He can’t eat normal food for a while, but they slowly work on it. They start with meats and work their way towards fruits and veggies and then eventually candy and junk food. Hacker is very excited to upgrade to junk food

While Hacker’s starting to recover, Finch finds out about Ink’s little experiments on some of her coworkers

He tells Dream immediately and Dream’s just like ‘Oh. Hm. I see. I’ll talk to her about it. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.’

It’s impossible to tell how upset Dream is about this but 'talk to her about it’ isn’t what Finch was hoping for. And a week or so later Ink’s still. working there. He knows Dream did have some kind of chat with her though because she’s glaring daggers at him.

he brings it up to Dream again and Dream has no intentions of firing or arresting her. Finch is now very very suspicious and does some digging

And he finds out that Dream’s been sending Ink to 'take care of’ anyone and everyone who disagrees with JR’s policies. Whether they be violently protesting or just speaking out. He also finds out just how horrific Ink’s interrogation methods are and about all of the brainwashing and shit

He gathers up a bunch of it and exposes Dream (and also Ink, and possibly several other officials) to the media and there’s enough evidence that he can’t reasonably deny it

he’s really confused though why’s Finch doing this? This is for the Greater Good

he is quickly arrested, along with Ink, and they’re both put in the max security cells

fun fact, the magic nullifying barriers that the cells are strong enough to stop Dream’s aura from burning him because of his own negative emotions, so he is not going to slowly go mad from searing pain that he can’t seem to stop. i do have some mercy

fun fact #2 for this exact reason dream has one of these barriers installed in his apartment so he can Emotions freely

When Finch accused Dream and Ink of Heinous Crimes, Ink’s apartment was searched (with an actually reasonable warrant) and they found all of Ink’s lovely paintings of people murdered in horrible, gruesome ways that matched several murders that went 'unsolved’, most of which had been people who’d spoken out against JR in some way

the paintings are returned because they’re technically personal property and also no one wants to keep them. the talent of the artist is undeniable but jesus christ those are fucked up

Finch ends up taking over JR and vows to make sure it serves actual justice, and not Dream’s twisted version of it. He came here to do Good Things and by god is he going to make that happen. hacker and randy come with him btw

The Meme Squad also gets arrested and THIS TIME they’re put in the Max Security Cells

i say 'cells’. They attempted to separate them but it made them freak the fuck out and finch decided that they could share a cell. it’s not like they were going to kill each other, or get out together. they calm down. They’re still unhappy that they’re in there at all but at least they’re not going to be separated.

did i mention they have a lot of separation anxiety

bonus points if they pass Dream and Ink’s cells and they just look in like ??????? and Dream looks just as confused as they do about it and Ink just glares

so yeah that happened.

and then blue shows up! You know how he’s really possessive of Dream? yeah he’s not super happy about what finch did.

fortunately finch is used to fighting for his life and after fighting bobby he is not afraid of who he perceives to be Some Guy. also he knows demons exist and blue seemed to just fucking Appear so he threw a crucifix at him and orange screeched and fuckin vanished, leaving a very confused blue boy with a vaguely cross shaped mark on his face and possibly also a bloody nose

Blue gets arrested for Attempted Murder and only attempted murder because currently they have no idea about his kidnappings and actual murders and he’s not about to tell anyone. This does however mean he gets to go to the Normal Cells and there are People There and he gets to talk to people and that helps him a lot.

he also gets some real therapy for his abuse survivor trauma and other issues he has from being alone for so long

He’s probably the first one of the main 6 who get better enough to leave

he gets so much better i’m so proud of him

Randy and Hacker end up staying in JR too

hacker and finch are very soft,,,,,,

Finch ends up making a little unit to deal with Supernatural Shit and Randy’s in charge of it. Most people thought he was crazy until Hacker came in and was like 'hi. can confirm demons exist. also ghosts. there’s one in here already and finch told me they’ve been writing on the walls didn’t you guys notice that at least’

the protests die down. finch is not crazy. The unit checks out any reports of supernatural activity. Most of them aren’t actually ghosts or anything which is Good but some of them are actually and that’s not so great. Some of the ones that are are just very lonely and sad ghosts though so they bring them to JR so they can be friends with Ani while they see if there’s anything they can do about helping them pass on or whatever. they also want ani to have a friend and ani is VERY UPSET that they think they need friends >:/

not really but shhh

oh yeah speaking of Ani- after dealing with Bobby, Finch wasn’t super scared of Ani anymore, and they got bored of trying to kill him. they just fuck with him now. stealing pens. writing mean things on the wall. hiding his keyboard. that sort of stuff. they’re very petty. Hacker can also see them and he thinks this is really funny

oh yeah Finch makes it a policy to give everyone in the Max Security Cells a Thing or two for Entertainment. Nothing that can be used as a weapon ofc but just Something. They’ll ask the inmates what they want but if they can’t decide or say they don’t want anything they get a standard deck of cards. It’s really not fair to leave them in there with nothing to do but think and idk do yoga or whatever.

Cards are the default because there’s a lot of different games you can play with them.

Dream got one because he didn’t respond when asked if he wanted to have anything brought in for entertainment.

Ink got a notepad and pen to draw with (And also she demanded Terry be brought in so she could take care of him and no one really wanted to go into her apartment and do it so they allowed it).

The Meme Squad got one thing each and they all decided to get cards so they can try to build the biggest most epic card tower they could. also the longest god damn go fish games ever

kevin was not allowed to be brought into the cell because he requires a bit more room then a little cell. also dream apparently knew kevin from the village and nightmare confirmed that there’s only been one Kevin and not multiple chickens named Kevin, so Finch really doesn’t want to know why kevin’s still alive. he has someone else go take care of Kevin.

Everyone’s getting therapy so if Nightmare does well with it Kevin will probably be brought to JR and given a nice pen and Nightmare can go out there and take care of his baby. the person who’d been taking care of kevin is relieved

Finch also goes to talk to Dream sometimes, after he realized just how deeply fricked Dream’s mind was. it’s not his fault the villagers were insane and let a kid grow up thinking he was an angel who could fix everything wrong with the world

dream’s going to be there the longest. it will probably take many many many years for him to get better. but he has that time

there’s a thought that blue keeps getting possessed by random ghosts that want to kill Finch so he keeps breaking which would be really funny but it wouldn’t actually do anything

How would each of dream and cross react to kid going to them because of a bad dream in late night? (separate)

Cross would do her best to comfort them but I don’t think she’d be very good with words, so at most she just hugs them and gently rubs their back and hopes it’s helping and wonder how the hell she ended up in this position JSJSHE

Dream’s much more eloquent with words, but he’s also kind of emotionally distant (especially when he doesn’t have his aura being smothered by some sort of magic suppressor) so while I think he’ll hug them if they ask, he’ll probably not be the most comforting

especially if his aura’s working bc that’s not going to be fun for an already very upset kid. Hopefully he saw this possibility coming and found a quick solution, because you know this man doesn’t fucking sleep so he’s probably doing work in his office, instead of sleeping in his apartment where he’s got a magic suppressor.

How are H!DS when they’re sick? Like a moderately bad cold, coughing, sleepiness, all that fun stuff. More stabby? Less?

I know DS Dream (and presumably Del by extension) can’t get sick because magic apples, but hypothetically how would he be?

okay well firstly the horror squad has a new nickname for delusion. someone called him 'del' for no real reason and the squad was like 'hahaha dell computer ass bitch'

Secondly…

Gouge, Byte, and Slash are crabby and bitchy about it. Pluto would be, too. The Horror Squad tries to take care of their sick fool, but they probably all end up getting sick because they live and sleep together.

Excluding Pluto because spirits can’t get sick or drugged or poisoned, but we ARE talking hypothetically.

Delusion would be irritated, but try not to show it. Depending on what he’s sick with, though, it might be hard to keep his emotions squashed down, which is uhhh. Not going to be helpful!! He’d probably be forced to stay in his apartment and recover, which is just going to irritate him more. He has WORK to do! He doesn’t have TIME for this!

Hunter’s whiny and pathetic (affectionate). He’s responsible about it though. Goes to the doctor if he needs to, does what they tell him to, and rests as much as he can. And then whines to Orange. Orange hates it. Hunter continues to do it, because he’s miserable. Also fuck Orange.

Pulaski’s kinda ‘suck it up’ when he gets sick, but he does try to rest so he can recover. He doesn’t complain much, no matter how miserable he is.

Sparrow’s a bit like what Delusion would be, but easier to convince to go rest. Especially when Spindle recovers and he and Pulaski are with him after the Final Girl Finch ending. The two tag team Sparrow until he stops working and just rests and recovers. Or goes to the doc, if necessary.

Spindle is usually grumbly, but he’ll whine and sniffle pathetically if Sparrow’s there. Assuming demons even CAN get sick. Prior to demonification he probably didn’t get sick while he was in custody, so. But, if he can get sick as a demon, he wants Sparrow to take care of him :(( he’s sick (true) and dying (joke) and lonely (situational)!! Sparrow rolls his eyes but takes care of his idiot.

Fester, if demons can get sick, is more likely to get sick that Spindle because they’re still inhabiting a human body. They’ll probably think they were cursed for a while, though. And it’ll take a lot for Pulaski to convince Fester that no, he’s not cursed, he’s just sick and needs to rest.
