After a while, she had found the perfect spot.

It was in a small clearing, where the lush green forest surrounded the river, with the only open ends being where it cuts through. With jagged and rough rocks emerging out of the golden sand and yellow dandelions being speckled throughout the surrounding grass, basking in the light of the sun’s radiant rays. It was beautiful, she’d have to take Atreus with her when he's feeling better. 

He’d enjoy the sight and probably sit near a tree sketching his surroundings, refusing to let her see it until it was absolutely perfect. He would insist that she should be somewhere in front of him, so he could be certain that she wouldn't take a peek at it before his masterpiece was complete. When she complied with his request and waited for her son to finish, she always seemed to end up in it.

It made him a little annoyed when she would ask him if that was her, he would puff out his cheeks and pout his lip a little bit, with a grumble he'd say “Oh course it’s you, who else would it be mother.” After his words were said, she'd put his journal down to the side, give him a warm smile and scoop him up in her arms to kiss his chubby cheeks, and thank him for making her so beautiful, thank him for being such a wonderful artist. As he would giggle and insist that he didn't make her beautiful, she just is.

Hehe that top sketch was my first warmup on her and her facial structure and I ended up liking how it looked so I lined it :D

I got inspired by @neechees' thoughts about Laufey so I decided to do a quick doodle of her and Kratos' first wife, Lysandra with a few edits done for 'historical accuracy' on both their outfits because i have done too much research on mykenaean clothing to not include it

Anyway I hope we get some sort of material that shows the fight between Kratos and Faye. Please. I need more Faye content.

I think this was after Groa told Odin about the prophecy, and I think he killed her because he was so in love with a Giant that he refused to believe any of the Giants would end up banding together to defeat him, including his wife. I think Odin and Fyorgunn got in a heated argument where Odin asks Fyorgunn is she was plotting to kill him, and Thor may have came in and see his mother likely grab a weapon to defend herself as she likely felt scared by Odins frustration and in the process accidentally killed Fyorgunn, probably by means of binding her to a wall with his hammer, but in the process, accidentally crushing her.

From there, Odin grew detached, angry with Thor, but also heeding Groa's vision, so he sent Thor to eliminate all threats (Giants) of the vision. Faye understandably wanted to set off and battle Thor because he killed so much of her kind and likely felt more personal because he was half Giant. That's my theory.

anyone else think kratos and faye are kind of echoed in surtr and sinmara? surtr is a fire giant, kratos is associated with fire. sinmara is an ice giant, faye is associated with ice. both kratos and faye have some degrees of control over their respective elements via the weapons they use. also, according to the mural atreus and angrboda saw, surtr and sinmara battled each other before growing close and falling in love, while faye states that she and kratos nearly took each other's heads off at first meeting. also 2x surtr carrying sinmara's heart inside his chest and sinmara carrying his heart inside her chest, while faye tells kratos that she will always be a part of him, and he will always be a part of her
