It is interesting to observe that the only investment a global brand as Pleasing has done is 1 slot of outdoor advertising in the UK (London, if I am not wrong) where there is actually NO point of sale at all and just right after the launch. Never announced before, never communicated a detail out of SM. Just a couple of screens with a date and a logo after Glendale's LOT show. It's the perfect equation. From a personal perspective, I have several male friends who have started using beauty products like eyeliner, concealer, and nail polish. Gen Z is notorious for being attracted to personalization and things that make us stand out.  Makeup is a tool of self-expression that can do exactly that.

After investigating these new brands, one question comes to mind.  How will current, well established beauty brands capitalize on this emerging industry? Companies like Revlon, Color Pop, Nars, and Maybelline are extremely well established as far as makeup.  Clinique, The Ordinary, Neutrogena, and Mario Budescu have a hold over the skincare industry. Will we see product lines marketed for men by these brands?  Will their long history as female forward companies effect their ability to break into the male beauty industry? 
I think it would be an incredibly smart move for these brands to make a move to a more non gendered creative space. Brands that don’t subject consumers to the “Pink Tax” have the opportunity to market their products to a broader audience.
