Mona my Beloved🔮🌌✨️
Ngl it does bother me sometimes how Mona is treated like a piece of meat by the fandom (I know lol, what a shocker- a hot anime girl being lusted over? How surprising-)
Pretty much EVERY character in genshin has like a million NSFW art pieces made of them as well as many people lusting over them. This is pretty particular for the course.
However you'd expect since mona Is one of the most sexualized characters in the fandom she'd be pretty beloved right?
Unfortunately no. Granted, I don't see anyone actively hating on mona which is good! But at the same time whereas popular characters such as ganyu,childe,scaramouche,raiden, etc. Are lusted over for their physical attributes, they are also beloved by the fandom for their personalities.
Basically, their personalities are treated as a part of what makes them "hot"
Whereas Mona is really just treated like a peace of meat.
Which is a damn shame because ironically I think Mona has one of the most attractive personalities in game.
I mean she's intelligent,she's snarky but with a ladylike coyness to her that makes every conversation with her so entertaining. She's haughty but not arrogant and is incredibly protective of her friends.
Tbh she has more personality than a lot of the more "waifu bait" characters in genshin. (Not saying I don't like characters like Ayaka,Nilou,Noelle or Ganyu, I just wish they'd have more distinct personalities and interests, I still love them tho <3 )
I mean she's had multiple events at this point where her personality and strengths shine! (Even saving the traveller's life multiple times lol)
She's so sassy which is very refreshing compared to the more "vanilla" waifus of genshin (again, I still love my vanilla waifus tho <3)
I mean just looking at her animated expressions during cutscenes makes her snarky quips and flustered mistakes even more enjoyable!
Overall I just wanted to say , while yes Mona is a very attractively designed character
(Literally so hot china had to censor her-tbh slay)
I want to remind everyone that her ✨️Personality✨️
Is just as smoking hot as she is 💅🏼

I can’t tell you how many times I watched from a distance as I stood at the stands grabbing my water bottle. The way her she just existed. I could always see her smile from the other side of the track.
She wore her gorgeous pink locks in cute space buns or the French braided thick pig tails. Her ears always moving and listening but the way she had them pierced brought the gaze to how perfect they were. She was so confident and cool.
I remember the first time I met her as I transferred from a different place. I was in AP literature and we were starting to read the same shit I’d read in ninth grade. When I got called to talk about the female character portrayed in the book once again written by a white man. I got her to laugh that day when I gave the teacher a hard time. It was the moment I fell in love with her.
I also remember the way she would say hello and give me small cute praise in class. But it was another story when I really couldn’t help the way my eyes would look her up and down in her cheer outfit or the way she wore knee high socks with her practice uniform. I love the way her tail was so luscious, it looked so soft. I found myself staring a few times when she would blush or bite her perfect bottom lip…
Then it happened after homecoming…I was on the way home, bandaged up and icing my ankle from a srum, when I found her crying on the stone wall close to our houses. She was devastating…I stood by her and consoled her, turns out her best friend wasn’t such a good friend, and I caught her shivering. I took my letterman’s off and wrapped it around her shoulders.
I walked her home and there before she went into her house she turned around and ran back to me and kissed me…she left me standing under a streetlight dazed as I remember how soft her cherry chapsticked lips were against mine…

- Moon Tortured (Sky Brooks, #1) by McKenzie Hunter Nope%! Decided i didn’t wanna.
- The First Binding (Tales of Tremaine #1) by R.R. Virdi 100%! 5🌟 This book is the slowest slow burn that keeps you enraptured with tidbits and hints and little subtle things that tug you along, wanting to know what was that all about? And then what about that? ...And then the ending is a masterful crescendo, smashing through the quiet musings with an energetic crash - leaving you to crave the sequel that is barely in the planning stages. What a beautiful, masterpiece of art. Can't wait for the sequel so i can indulge in a reread!
