Btw you mentioned you had cool OC's but I don't remember seeing them very much, could you explain a little about them? What fandom are they for? If not multi fandom lol, and what's their backstory? Also you totally don't need to respond if you don't want to lol. Have a great rest of your day/night and remember to drink some water and get rest!
-🐗
Oh no I want to 🐗 anon. I want to. ꒰ᐢ. .ᐢ꒱
Gonna stick with OC’s for Genshin rn because that’s what the majority of my posts are about but let it be known that nearly every fandom I’m in or have been in has at least one OC.
Really only one of my Genshin OC’s has a lot of lore/backstory, but all of them have something (I also have OC concepts if anyone ever wants/needs some help with creating one!!)
And that OC would be…..
Ludwig Fritz Köhler von Leichenberg!! My little psycho Priest man~~ My little guy~~
It all ties into my personal Genshin AU but… we’re not gonna get (too) far into that rn-
ANYWAY-
Ludwig is the High Priest of Mondstadt in this cannon. He goes out on basically his equivalent of crusades whip is why he’s not present most of the time. This ties into my “added nation” The Fae Wilds.
His main job as the high Priest is to ensure that fae don’t make their way into Mondstadt, or at the very least non of the very bad ones-
I’m not gonna go too deep but the lore of his job and his backstory basically goes as follows:
Before the fall of Khaenri'ah, The Fae Wilds were directly connected to Mondstadt, to the point where there were human settlements there. Fae weren’t cruel and over all everyone was happy.
With the cataclysm, The Fae Wilds were also taken out, or at the very least corrupted. Now it’s where the tormented souls of Mond find themselves. Returning for revenge is all they can do.
The role of the High Priest was developed immediately after the corruption of Fae, though the corruption was slow spreading so people still kinda lived in the Wilds, just closer to Mond. The High Priest is chosen by Barbatos himself, and is basically the highest position in Mond. Everything, every decision and otherwise goes through him. Though, of course, freedom is still the main thing. The people choose to follow the Priest.
Unfortunately for him, Ludwig lived in one of these settlements. The corruption began to rapidly spread, and his family died to it. He was there to witness their deaths and their rebirths as Fae… the bad kind.
He was saved by Barbatos, which immediately made him obsessed with the God. When brought to Mond by that current Priest, he was considered a blessing. He became a nun - I know men can’t do that but let’s be real Genshin would - and soon quickly raised up the ranks.
The Priest before him was a horrible guy (I mean he was a pervert and Ludwig was a little choir boy, if you catch my drift), and as such was punished - killed - for his crimes. Mond went without a Priest for a few years, then Ludwig was selected.
This solidified his obsession with Barbatos.
The High Priest role allows the human chosen to live until killed via a Fae, but it comes with extreme healing abilities and such so it’s really, really hard.
Ludwig has held the position for… well over three hundred years.
He’s hypersexual, but not in the fun way. In the “Please someone help him and teach him that sexual touch is not the only form of love” way.
He’s strict with the few rules Mond has. And unfortunately breaking these rules often leads to what the other Nations would call “torture” and “cruel punishments”… Ludwig doesn’t think so though!
He is a catalyst user, but (like Wrio) has his own special weapon, which is a large - and I mean HUGE - church bell connected via chain to a small hammer. think flail style (Like Gyomei).
He is - naturally - a Anemo vision. And his actual catalyst is a bell.
He has killed before in the name of Barbatos… he’ll do it again to. Watch out Fatui.
He actually did kill a few Fatui during (before Traveler) the Stormterror event. It was in front of The Lady as well when she dared ask to kill Dvalin.
He cannot hold a beer. Not at all. All it takes is a whiff of alcohol and he’s out like a damn light-
He’s dating Varka but he has two hands just saying…
He hates Barbara’s fan club because he had one like it. He beats up her fans on a daily basis.
He knows Venti is Barbatos. He just chooses to not tell him so he can have freedom.
Anyway he has a shrine in his home filled with Barbatos stuff-
Upon realizing Venti liked apples he tried to make it so you needed a license to pick apples so they could persevere them.
(It didn’t work btw-)
He’s just a little guy. My little guy~
Anyway the other ones are….
Detleif! My Centaur boi! Apart of the non lethal Fae from the Wilds (really just Demi-Humans) dubbed wind spirits. He helps Mr. Ludwig in keeping the more… wild Fae out of Mond.
He’s a sweet man who lost his daughter in an accident, - ahem she was killed - and he do be Anemo. He wields a bow!
… He’s my horse for the cavalry-
Then we have Ella! She’s my weird Hilichurl. If anyone read the old posts I called her a he, she went through a small change lmao
She can speak and has retained “human” intelligence compared to her brethren, and is actually good friends with Ludwig. She and Mr. Ludwig have made a deal where hilichurls and humans live in peace in Mond.
She’s the Hilichurl representative!
Also she’s a winged Churl… lol that’s not important-
She technically doesn’t have any actual vision. Think I’m gonna keep it that way
And finally an Undertaker for the graveyard by the Church! Under the works, all I know is that they use a claymore and aren’t a Anemo Vision holder.
And that’s really all I got! I’m open to questions about them and going in more depth if anyone’s curious!
(And willing to write fics for them… anyway-)

Name: Stephan Mondlicht
Known Aliases: Stephan Köhler, The Doctor, The Dandy, Fritz (more derogatory term used toward him)
Age: 30 (in 1986)
Height: 5'11"
 Weight: 139lbs
Hair color: Strawberry blond
Eye color: Green
Nationality: East German
Sexuality: "Homoromantic" asexual
Family: Mother-Kristal Köhler, Father-Johann Köhler, Sister-Annette Köhler
Appearance: Though pushing seventy he looks closer to fifty. He is quite thin and a bit bony. Having been in the Russian mafia he has some tattoos. His short, reddish, curls are slicked back and sports an undercut. He has wild green eyes with a touch of madness in them and sharp canines and incisors he had filed to be sharper. His hands are always gloved to cover the numerous scars from improper healing and surgeries he had performed on them.
Stephan likes the finer things in life and dresses in high quality English suits. He used to have them smuggled in during his time in New Order. Gloves and dark colored waistcoats are always worn with it. He prefers dress shoes. His civilian clothes are semi formal and outdated clothes typical of the period.
Personality: Stephan is a spineless, sassy dandy with a fear of pain and death. He got by with his intellect and if that failed him he used manipulation and deceit. He had little loyalty and was very self serving. If ratting someone out to the authorities meant benefiting him he would do it. However after becoming a criminal himself that no longer became an option. He was a perfectionist and a collector of luxurious and often contraband items. He enjoyed being in control of things no matter how minimal. He holds himself higher than others especially the gangsters he treated. If it weren't for his minimal skills in the medical field he would have his ass kicked by his patients on a daily basis with how he runs his mouth at them.
✭ JJBA Verse Info ✭
Stand: Puppets
Stand Appearance: Puppets appears as a nervous system bonded to a skeletal frame. The white muscle like tissue that surrounds the frame is pure nerves. The head, hands, and feet have perfectly circular holes where it's hollowed out all the way through. At the top of the head an exposed brain peeks out. It's waist is just the nerves tapering to an exposed spine. On its chest a symbol similar to the Tree of Life can be seen.
Stand ability: Puppets is a close range stand that affects the nervous system and can either excite adrenaline and extreme panic in a target or neutralize it so the target is calm even when they think they should be afraid.
--------------------------------------
Early Life: Stephan Mondlicht was born Stefan Köhler. Born in East Germany in 1956. He was the only son to survive birth and had a younger sister years later. He lacked emotional understanding from a young age and struggled to connect with his peers. This became prevalent after the death of his friend while ice skating. His friend fell through thin ice and young Stefan watched unsure of what to do. His death didn't impact him as it did those around him. He didn't understand why people were upset about death. This incident was one of the driving motivations for him to get into psychology and later neuroscience.
He excelled in his field but had unethical and cruel experiments done after hours of the academy. His field being watched closely by the government he was thrown from school and not permitted to practice even psychology.
In 1980 he gets contacted by an underground organization called New Order (Neue Ordnung) that had a single goal of overthrowing the communist government. Stefan was put in a unit for human experimentation to create a type of super soldier to ensure their success (in the JJBA verse it was to create artificial stand users by mimicking the effects of the stand arrow as well as conditioning subjects to potentially control stand ability outcomes.) Through much trial and error it was learned the only children were susceptible to the gene therapy and subjects had to undergo torture and pain to activate the genetic modifications. Stefan was made to evaluate and control subject testing. Something he did with no conscience or regret.
Eventually the government discovered the base and killed everyone involved including subjects. They destroyed all traces of research and records of all members involved. Through some sheer spite and fear of dying Stefan survived and enlisted the help of a Russian mafia called Winter Sun that offered to get him away and provide a new identity. Giving what money he had he put his trust in these gangsters. They gave him the new identity, Stephan Mondlicht, carted him away to Russia and made him the mafia doctor. In doing so he was heavily protected and no harm would befall him but Stefan felt tricked and grew resentful. He remains the reluctant mafia doctor of Winter Sun.
Organization Status: Mafia doctor
Random Facts:
※ In academy he played cello and had an aptitude for music. He also has a very nice singing voice.
※ He loathed his sister growing up and never knew what became of her nor did he care.
※ Stephan drinks an inhuman amount of coffee. Caffeine and alcohol are the only substances he uses.
※ Stephan loathes children. Which is why he had no problem with experimenting on them. He lacks empathy to begin with but it's exceptionally lacking toward kids.
※ It took him a while but he figured out he is not attracted to woman but he doesn't really experience sexual attraction and romantic love is a concept he doesn't really grasp either. If anything it's more an aesthetic and perhaps sensual attraction.

The White Ribbon (2009)
“Das weiße Band – Eine deutsche Kindergeschichte”
Drama, History, Mystery |
The White Ribbon is a black-and-white German-language drama film written and directed by Michael Haneke. The film darkly depicts society and family in a northern German village just before World War I and, according to Haneke, “is about the roots of evil. Whether it’s religious or political terrorism, it’s the same thing.”
04_Der Pfarrer (Burghart Klaussner) ermahnt seinen Sohn (Leonard Proxauf) zu Aufrichtigkeit
The film premiered at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival in May 2009 where it won the Palme d’Or, followed by positive reviews and several other major awards, including the 2010 Golden Globe Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
The memories of an unnamed elderly tailor form a parable from the distant year he worked as a village schoolteacher and met his fiancée Eva, a nanny. The setting is the fictitious Protestant village of Eichwald, Northern Germany, from July 1913 to 9 August 1914, where the local pastor, the doctor and the baron rule the roost over the area’s women, children and peasant farmers.
The puritanical pastor leads confirmation classes and gives his pubescent children a guilty conscience over apparently small transgressions. He has them wear white ribbons as a reminder of the innocence and purity from which they have strayed. When under interrogation, his son confesses to ‘impure’ touching; the pastor has the boy’s hands tied to his bed frame each night. The doctor, a widower, treats the village children kindly but humiliates his housekeeper and also sexually abuses his teenage daughter…

I would like to ask about your ocs and genshin au 🥺☝️
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU-
*Ahem* Anyway ૮꒰⸝⸝> ̫ <⸝⸝꒱ა-
You’re my first ask! So happy to make your acquaintance! Ive needed to get this out for a while so:
This all stemmed from me realizing that Mondstadt has such a small amount of story compared to the rest of the nations. It has minimal would building and little lore. I understand this is probably because it’s basically the tutorial nation but still-
I have a hardcore love for my baby🥹.
I only actually played Genshin for a little bit (and it was around the time Liyue was coming out) so all I had was Mond and it enraptured me.
It started also with me realizing the people of Mond (and Liyue as well) were stupid because the statues of their gods are RIGHT THERE but they can’t put two and two together with Zhongli and Venti starting next to them.
Mond is more cultish in this AU, worshiping Barbatos with a bit more vigor, as well as the fact that they do know Venti is Barbatos. I mean, who else would pay his tab? They give him the freedom of walking around without having to deal with his godly duties, because he graced them with the most freedom out of all seven nations!
Anyway-
Let’s start with the main OC!~
“Mein Herr Majesstät der Heilige Vater Ludwig Fritz Köhler von Leichenberg!”
Otherwise known as:
“My Lord the Holy Father Ludwig Fritz Köhler von Leichenberg”
(His name is Ludwig Fritz Köhler von Leichenberg if you couldn’t tell!)
Mrs. Ludwig is the High Priest for Mondstadt, the person all who aren’t affiliated with the knights respond to, and even then he’s technically above the knights in terms of power!
The High Priest is technically the highest rank in Mondstadt, all orders coming and going through him, as I believe Mond to be more of a Theocracy if anything, being run by an unnamed book about Barbatos that only the High Priest has access to.
The thing about this role is it makes the holder immortal. Every time an old Priest dies, a new one is hand picked from the church by Barbatos (Note: Only three of these Priests have existed, Ludwig being the current and longest holder of the title).
If I had to describe him, I’d say he’s a man who’d do anything in order to get on Barbatos’s graces, no matter the cost. He’s stricken on the rules of Mond, but enforces the fact that everyone should have their freedoms.
Due to his… less than idea childhood he’s a very sexually charged man. I’d call him hypersexual. He finds comfort in sex, though not in a healthy way, so please help him figure out other romantic ways to express himself! He is gay, and I personally believe he’d be with Varka if anyone. But he’s also Poly and has two hands!~
I won’t go into detail so I can get to the others, but have a few fun facts!
He calls close friends “Vögelchen” which means little bird, people in the clergy/city are called “Spatz” which means sparrow, and the children of Mond are “Spatzi” which is little sparrow!
He HATES Morax but can stand Zhongli. He just dislikes any other nation in general but Liyue gets the brunt of it.
He likes to say he got his Vision from kissing Barbatos. (He really fucked him but no one has to know-)
He can’t handle alcohol at all. A simple whiff of GRAPE JUICE is enough to get this man as though he drank 5 bottles of vodka with no breaks in between
Now onto:
Tempest Fae Gardian: Detleif!
He is…. A centaur! Big ole beefy centaur as well! And a sweetheart!
Detleif guards the divide between Mond and the Fae Wilds! (Which I will explain if request!) He more or less represents the Demi-human population in Mond, and his story quest would reveal the hidden nation of Demi-Humans!
Being a horse, he cannot glide nor climb, but he has a boost in running and in swimming!
He’s overall just a very jolly man who’s happy to be here, and is based off of German show horses! Specifically in the spring! He can hold a good solid…. Hundred pints of beer and is great friends with Ludwig!
(If you couldn’t tell, I worked a bit more on Ludwig compared to everyone else lol)
Some fun facts before we move on:
He didn’t gain his anemo vision with dead friend trauma :) (He got it from dead daughter trauma :3 )
He allows the children of Mond to ride on his back and braid flowers into his hair Repunzel style.
He often takes Venti home on his back when he gets too drunk to walk.
And finally (because I have at least 2 for each nation and I don’t want this to be to long):
Finn!
A winged Hilichurl! Who can speak! Wow!
In my AU, Ludwig decided to basically crusade the hilichurls into believing in Barbatos, and he met what was thought to be an extinct variant of churl, feathered!
You can actually find winged hilichurls in the manga, what panel? I can’t remember-
He’s a little bastard but he’s my little bastard :).
He has three bodyguards (two Mita and one Samachurl), because… you know… people kill churls of all kinds without hesitation (and I wouldn’t be shocked if people mounted their heads on walls honestly)
Some quick fun facts:
He’s taller and lankier than most, and actually looks down on most smaller characters (I’m looking at you Xiao)
Just like Ludwig, he fucking HATES Liyue; last time he went there, he was nearly killed
He has a bat like tail, it ends with a wisp, and all his fluff is slightly fluffier.
I’m going to stop here because I could go on and on but I don’t want to boar-d (hehe, get it?-) you. But if you have any questions feel free to ask! ૮꒰ྀི∩´ ᵕ `∩꒱ྀིა

Gestalt Theory
Gestalt Psychological Theory (’Un-fined whole’)
Gestalt is a German psychological theory discovered by psychologists Max Wertheimer, Kurt Koffka, Fritz Perls and Wolfgang Köhler. Gestalt is a psychology term meaning "unified whole". It refers to theories of visual perception developed in the 1920s, these theories attempt to describe how people tend to organise visual elements into groups or unified wholes when certain principles are applied. The theory looks specifically at the human mind and behaviour as a whole suggesting we do not simply focus on every small component and tend to look at things as wholes.
Quote:
"the whole is something else than the sum of its parts" is often incorrectly translated as "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts” - Kurt Koffka
Kurt Koffka was really annoyed with the mistranslation, as it incorrectly implies addition and that the whole is something more than its individual element, whereas his argument was that is it was something else entirely. Its not addition, its something completely different.
Gestalt can be broken down into 6 different design principles, these are:
Figure & Ground
Similarity
Proximity
Closure
Continuation
Order- symmetry & alignment
Tumblr media
General rules:
Objects will be perceived in their simplest form
Tumblr media
We see this as 5 interlocking different coloured circles rather than what it physically is. In fact, these are coloured curved lines which are split by one another but we don't see these as individual shapes, we see it in the simplest form. This being 5 interlocking rings which are not technically possible considering its a 2d image.
Humans naturally follow lines or curves
Tumblr media
Road markings act as guides on junctions/roundabouts to ensure we are in the right lanes. Even though these lines are technically separate shapes in a row which have no relationship together, as human nature we perceive these as single elements which we naturally follow.
The mind will attempt to fill in detail that isn't actually there
Tumblr media
Where there are gaps essentially no information within imagery, our minds will subconsciously fill in the gaps.
Figure & ground
This is how the human eye separates 2 images within the same image through solid, stable areas. Some of the figures/focus of one image creates another object in the foreground.  The figure is the object and the ground is the background.
Tumblr media
When we look at something we try to apply a focus, looking at this example our eyes can differentiate between two visible images. The positive space in the foreground is seen as a chess piece and the negative space can be perceived as two side-on faces looking at each other.
Similarity
The way we seek differences and similarities when we place two objects next to each other and link similar elements/characteristics. Occurs when objects look similar to one another and therefore perceive them as a group or pattern. The similarities can be in any design element e.g. shape, texture and colour.
Tumblr media
There is a clear similarity of shape which is position in the shape of peacock feathers. Despite the shapes being different colours and at different angles, there is a clear connection from one to another.
Similarity can also be coupled with the theory of anomalies when enough similar objects are composed in some kind of pattern to empathise a different object. Making it different from the similar or pattern which creates enthesis to draw the eye.
Proximity
The way we group closer-together elements, separating them from those farther apart. Breaking up objects in the same image. The positioning helps portray a relationship between the separate parts.
Tumblr media
In this logo, there is no letter ‘u’ but due to the series of shapes that have been placed in close proximity within a boundary help perform the letter ‘u’ which is recognisable to the human eye immediately.
Closure
When an element is incomplete or space is not totally filled but has enough to indicate a passage which we subconsciously fill in.
Tumblr media
This logo reads as ‘usa’ despite the ‘s’ not actually existing and is implied through the use of negative space posed by the surrounding. The logo uses a ‘u’ with a tail and an ‘a’ with a proceeding tail. However, as people who understand western alphabet know that the empty space suggests the letter ‘s’ which our mind does my filling the missing information.
Continuity
The way we follow and “flow with” lines due to direction, size, scale until they are interrupted. Occurs when the eye is compelled to move through one object and continue to another object. Often use in typography based logos.
Tumblr media
Claiming they sell everything from A-Z, they connect these two letters with an arrow. Our eyes follow this arrow beginning from the tail of the ‘A’ which swoops down into it causing our eye to continue to follow and push up into the ‘Z’.
Order
The belief that alignment and symmetry are attractive in order to balance design and help us understand. These are human qualities, therefore, humans connect with these and make them easier to understand.
Tumblr media
Seen as two golden arches which are joined in the middle, using 100% symmetry implies a relationship. Symmetry can also be used in various directions to balance out a design as well as working alongside asymmetry to create visual weight to certain areas.
When Gestalt principles are ignored designs tend to look out of place or incomplete forcing the human eye to focus on little inconsistencies rather than the greater whole. You may not be able to point something out that is wrong but will feel something is out of place.
Reflection
Gathered a better understanding of how techniques of gestalt can be used to control the eye of the viewer
Potentials
Bare in mind the principles when creating my outcomes to make more visually appealing the eye
Moving forward these will be principles considered which I can discuss in my work about how it makes the eye focus on particular areas or lead eye to particular areas
