Those of the conjurer’s guild had sent out a request for herbs. Considering things were rather calm at the moment, leaving her with nothing much to do. So, Z’nakei had agreed to get everything together and deliver it.
Nearing the entrance to the guild, the Miqo’te paused for a moment, propping the crate on her knee in order to stretch her shoulders a bit. With it back in her arms she continued on, entering the guild and looking around to make sure she wasn’t in anyone’s way.
“Brother E-Sumi-Yan?” She called out, mismatched eyes looking for the Padjal. Catching no sign of the guildmaster, she turned her attention to the first person she saw. That lucky person being a Keeper Miqo’te.
“Excuse me?” Z’nakei directed towards the Keeper, tail swaying a bit as she decided to set the crate of herbs down to the side. Mostly since so said crate wouldn’t get destroyed by her habit of talking and gesturing with her hands.
“I have the herbs that were wanted, do you have any clue where Brother E-Sumi-Yan is or where I should put them?” Now that her hands were free, she fidgeted idly, tugging at the bottom hem of her tunic or tracing along her neckwear.

FFXIVwrite2020 day 25, wish
The Miqo’te had once again found herself on top of Kugane’s tower, legs dangling off of the side as she looked at the sprawling city beneath her. She looked up as something caught in the corner of her vision, mismatched eyes locking on a shooting star as it rocketed through the sky above. Her head tilted to the side, looking along the trail left in the sky.
A fuzzy memory of her own came to mind, becoming clearer the more she focused on it.
“Mommy, mommy!” Her younger self squealed, dragging a frazzled Miqo’te woman out of her childhood home. “Look, look! Stars!!” Little stubby tail wagging in excitement as she flailed about, jumping around in a circle before focusing on the spectacle above once again.
“Mommy, mommy! Make a wish for me! If both of us wish for the same thing, then it HAS to come true!” She grinned, bouncing in place before hopping up and climbing up her mother’s back. “Wish that I will grow to be big, and strong, and super cool, and beautiful, and heroic, an-”
“Alright, alright… Have you not heard that telling others your wishes will make them not come true?”
The little girl gasped dramatically, acting as if something had scandalized her. “Mommy! How could you do this to me? I’m dying!” The child let go of her mother’s shoulders, falling on the patio below. “Bleeehh….”
“Oh no. It looks like I will have extra dessert leftover tonight… whatever shall I do?” The woman started to head back inside.
“Mommy, NO!!” The little girl scrambling to her feet and hurrying inside as well.
Z’nakei sighed softly, shaking her head. What she wouldn’t give to have some of her mother’s desserts again. Perhaps that will be her wish tonight...
