【About the "鬼子母神" 】
鬼子母神,also known as Hārītī (Sanskrit),is both a revered goddess and demon, depending on the Buddhist tradition. She is one of the Twenty-Four Protective Deities of Mahayana Buddhism.
In her positive aspects, she is regarded for the protection of children, easy delivery and happy child rearing, while her negative aspects include the belief of her terror towards irresponsible parents and unruly children.
In both Chinese and Japanese Buddhism, she is venerated as a protector deity, but in many folk traditions is often recognized as a female demon of misery and unhappiness towards children and parents.
In Chinese Buddhism, Hārītī is also known as Hēlìdì (訶利帝) or Hēlìdìmǔ (訶梨帝母). In Chinese tradition, she is one of the Twenty-Four Protective Devas (二十四諸天 Èrshísì zhūtiān), a group of Dharmapalas who are venerated as protectors of Buddhists and the Dharma.Statues of this group (and Hārītī) are often enshrined within the Mahavira Hall in Chinese temples and monasteries.

白蛇传Legend of the White Snake #Zhenjiang #镇江 Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing travel to Mount Emei, where they brave danger to steal a magical herb that restores Xu Xian to life. After coming back to life, Xu Xian still maintains his love for Bai Suzhen despite knowing her true nature. Fahai tries to separate them again by capturing Xu Xian and imprisoning him at the Jinshan Temple. Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing fight with Fahai to rescue Xu Xian. During the battle, Bai Suzhen uses her powers to flood the temple, causing collateral damage and drowning many innocent people in the process. However, her powers are limited because she is already pregnant with Xu Xian's child, so she fails to save her husband. Xu Xian later manages to escape from Jinshan Temple and reunite with his wife in Hangzhou, where Bai Suzhen gives birth to their son. Fahai tracks them down, defeats Bai Suzhen and imprisons her in Leifeng Pagoda. Xiaoqing flees, vowing vengeance. Twenty years later, their son earns the position of zhuangyuan (top scholar) in the imperial examination and returns home in glory to visit his parents. At the same time, Xiaoqing, who had spent the intervening years refining her powers, goes to the Jinshan Temple to confront Fahai and defeats him. Bai Suzhen is freed from Leifeng Pagoda and reunited with her husband and son... #travelinchina #architecture #mural #legend #art #whitesnake #whitesnakelegend #travelgram #journey #traveller #wheretonext #travellife (at ZhenJiang, China) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMKFWa4nHLs/?igshid=4495o7mg5tyg

An ancient temple hidden in a forested mountain since AD1439 during Chinese Ming dynasty. Its main building starts at the foot of the mountain and then makes it's way up to the peak. This temple was named after a famous Chinese monk called Fahai, so it has been always called Fahai Zen Buddhism Temple. It is highly praised for it's mural art of wall painting, which is amoung the most 2 famous architecture of mural art in China, even around the world. The other building is Mo Kao Grotto at Dunhuang.(在 Moshikou, Beijing, China)

IDEAS changed
OK, I have just realized I can’t continue the illustration style. Because it quite be too animation and too complicated. I can’ t finish the three illustrations, i may not enough time to all the illustrations. So, I decide to draw something that I really good at.
I was worked on  the Dunhuang Mural repairs for several months.  Me and teammates were tried to repair the old Chinese murals such as Dunhuang mural and Fahai temple’s mural. So why I cannot work on these styles? Basically, it is one of the best option for me,because I am familiar with these styles
