Hola, konnichiwa, and other greetings. I’m on a walk and ended up here. Not a really serious question, and pretty weird, but I like asking these things to see the outcome.
How would the ROs react to a MC who chose only a chair to fight? Out of all weapons they can choose, out of any magical doohickey or clever scheme, they ignore the most obvious choice of weapon and hit the enemy over the head with a chair.
Florian: He's known you since childhood; he's come to expect and be amused by your nonsense.
Marcella: Same as Florian, except she would grab a chair and join in.
E: They've known you since childhood, and they're consistently exasperated by you.
Ari: She'd be confused at first, and would then provide backup so you don't get yourself killed. Expect a firm talking to after the fight.
Dimitri: You worry him so often that he's almost certain he's going to get ulcers from knowing you. He frets at you afterward.
Julian: He's highly amused and cheers you on. Seeing how pissed your opponents get makes his day.
Orion: He will confiscate the chair, sit you in the corner, and then take care of the fighting.
Rowan: They call you a dumbass afterward, but they're laughing. That's a huge win, seeing as Rowan almost never laughs.
Kira: She'll light the chair on fire for you, so now you're throwing a flaming chair. She's an enabler of chaos, so she approves.
Cier: He's also an enabler of chaos, and will hand you more chairs to throw while he lounges and enjoys the show.
Ilaria: Before you can fight with the chair, your enemy is already dead courtesy of her. From the look on her face, you might be next.

I've been wanting to post some of my MCs for IFs besides SHOH for a while, so I decided to start out with @dakotawritesif 's four amazing IFs!
Upper Left: Alina Rhys (Fallen Lights): Flirting with Florian, but Ezrah will always be her #1 boy. Loves her brother very much, and is studying magic (alchemy/elemental). Pretty cheerful, friendly, and fiercely defensive of those she cares about. Probably the most well adjusted of the MCs...FOR NOW.
Upper Right: Reina Davis (The Unseelie): Don't really know a lot about her yet, except that she appreciates her best friend, and misses her boyfriend a whole lot. Is she okay? No. But surely time will heal all wounds....right?
Bottom Left: Lyana Vailia AKA Nell van Dalen (Reaper's Bay): Pale hair, pale skin, gray eyes...her entire family is dead, and her appearance and distant demeanor makes her seem as though she's already joined them. She works for The Red Fortune, hoping his reputation will keep her from joining her sister. But when they meet, well...maybe she'll appreciate more than his protection.
Bottom Right: Elena (AKA Elly) Naess (Disenchanted): A sorcerer with a penchant for alchemy and wind magic. She did not take her fall from grace...well, gracefully. Bitter, disillusioned, and angry, she's perfectly happy to let Theo kneecap people for her, and leans on him and Viktor for support. Or maybe...leans on them for other reasons??

Ezrah Rhys - Ezrah is the person she loves most in world aside from Florian and Emil or Orion, and she’s not afraid to show it. Of course, as a proud and doting big brother he feels the same way about his Star. Only his love for [his suitor] equals to that of his love for his sister.
Queen Evelyn Vasil - Alina just. Does not like the queen at all starting from that first day when she comforted Florian, telling him that it’s okay to still be grieving and to cry as much as he needs and hugging him as long as he wants. And that dislike just grows over the years, and in turn Alina is on thin ice with the queen except for the fact that she knows that the younger woman would do anything for her son and that’s the main reason why she’s permitted Alina to become Florian’s advisor.
Prince Florian Vasil - Florian and Alina are each other’s best friend and first love.
Emil Renaud - When he permitted himself to be friends with her, Alina and Emil were as close of friends as they could be because of his circumstances with his family. They both miss each other dearly, though Emil more than Alina since she has a support system and she was his respite in the first place. Emil is also Alina’s first crush.
Marcella Dumont - Ever since Ezrah introduced them, Marcella’s been a part of the family - at least as far as Alina’s concerned, and treats her like another sibling.

Moving to Kesdon with her beloved older brother Ezrah was the best thing to ever happen to Nadya Rhys. She threw herself into her magical studies and spent most of her days taking advantage of the royal library. At her brother’s insistence, she also expanded her combat skills, although she preferred attacking from a distance and outsmarting her foes rather than imitating her brother’s direct style. This preference influenced her magical studies as well, as she developed a specialty in illusions and trickery.
Outside of her studies, however, Nadya was rather reserved. She spent most her time either in the library alongside the similarly studious Emilia or hiding from the palace crowds in the gardens with Prince Florian. She avoided the politics of court as best she could- which was why she was so surprised when the Queen offered her a position as Florian’s advisor.

So who would your romance options romance in other games?
Okay, here’s the ask I messed up posting last night lol! This took way longer than I wanted it to because it was really hard to decide!
Florian: I think I’ve said this before (?) but Arthur from @the-kingshound because he’s very loving and supportive and Florian definitely needs that. He’s also an example of nobility that isn’t toxic, which Flor also desperately needs (that and a hug).
Marcella: K de la Renta from Golden by @milaswriting because she’d want to find out what was beneath the surface and proceed to fall ass over feet in love (as she does).
E: Kallias from @greatprotector-if because they might actually be a good influence. E is so repressed and would be hella flustered so it’d be hilarious. Then again, E is also used to being a babysitter so it fits.
Ari: Jun Hyuga from @mata-aetara-if because she loves a challenge. She could beat his ass and then proceed to heal him when he’s being an idiot, so obviously it’s a match made in heaven.
Dimitri: Gotta be Xander from @unwilling-souls-if because he’d want to know why he’s like that and he’d be intrigued by him and then trip and fall into love lmfao.
Orion: He would totally romance someone like Sebastian from @infamous-if because at his core he’s a sucker for sweet and slow romances with lots of longing. Honorable mention to Orion also from Infamous because that would be funny and very confusing.
Rowan: Noah from Novaturient by @kalorphic because, let’s be real, Rowan is moronsexual. They’d also totally help with the taking over the world thing; that’s definitely a Rowan thing to do.
Kira: Hannie Blackthorne from @thrill-seeker-if because she loves a good rivalry and would also make them hand made knitted goods with fae magic. Would protect them with her life.
Cier: I think Grayson Donohue by @if-mirrormine because he longs for that kind of devotion and loyalty. Would be just as loyal in return and also would love the cuddling.
Ilaria: This one was especially hard but I landed on Marco from Blood Moon by @barbwritesstuff because he might actually be able to make her smile. She’d fall pretty hard and fast after that.

If MC stayed dead, how long would the LIs and Ezra take to accept or just deal with it ?
Ezrah would not move on. He’d continue living, but he’d feel like he lost something essential. Like someone ripped out an organ and expected him to keep on living.
As for the ROs, only certain ones know MC pre-death. As for how long they’d take to move on, I think it depends on your relationship with them. Most have a rough time if you’d been romancing them.
And, of course, the childhood trio (Flor, Marcie, and E) are mourning more than just a romantic relationship. MC basically grew up with them, and everything is just wrong without them there.

"You threw dirt in my face," Ezrah says, baffled.
Silas purses his lips, "I didn't throw it in your eyes."
Ezrah's chuckle is borderline disbelieving, his words teasing, "No, you threw it in my mouth, thank you so much for that...but you still lost."
The tips of his slightly-pointed ears practically glow red, and his dark eyes narrow at Ezrah's tone. He turns away sharply, placing his wooden sword back in the rack, before facing Ezrah once more.
"You and your sibling are monsters," Silas informs him promptly,
Ezrah's laugh is boisterous and unrestrained, and he covers his mouth as if to stifle it even as his shoulders shake. Silas can't help it; he drops the annoyed act, a smile forcing its way onto his lips as he watches the other man's mirth.
"And you're dating one of those monsters. Besides that, I'll have you know some circles consider my sibling a saint," Ezrah wheezes the words out between chuckles, "Though I don't believe those people had to deal with the teenage mood swings. They'd certainly reconsider the holiness they're touting."
Silas rolls his eyes, "I've never thought of your sibling and the word holy in the same sentence."
"I must admit I've only done so in reference to their socks," Ezrah grins, "My sibling aside, I truly apologize for my monstrousness, Silas."
Only Ezrah isn't a monster. He's the farthest thing from it possible. The man in question must see his face soften because Ezrah draws nearer, only a breath away now.
"I forgive you, by the way," Ezrah says quietly, his words amused yet dry, "For the dirt. My mouth tastes absolutely disgusting."
"Figured I might as well try anything," Silas shrugs, glancing away, "Not like it worked."
"It startled me," Ezrah admits, his smile turning into something beguiling that makes Silas feel as if he's been struck, "Though, if you really wanted me off my game, you should've done something else to my mouth."
His eyes fall, pointedly, to Silas's own lips. A flush is slowly working its way up the Leydonian's neck and seeping into his cheeks, and Ezrah appears to relish the sight of it. If Silas felt stricken before, he's not quite certain how he feels now. He thinks his heart might be trying to flee the confines of his chest.
Ezrah leans forward, and Silas braces himself for a brushing of lips that'll make this heat finally spark a fire and consume him in the flames...
Only Ezrah doesn't do that. He reaches around Silas with the barest tilt of a smirk to his lips, returning his sword to the rack Silas still stands in front of.
"You wouldn't want me kissing you now," Ezrah feigns concern, "I told you, my mouth tastes terrible."
He's gone, walking away with a wink and the barest brush of shoulders. Silas doesn't know why he tries to get a leg up on this infuriating man anymore; he never wins, so he really should just give in and stop trying.

Ezrah's Story, Part 1
The first part of several stories that will detail Ezrah's life before and after MC arrived! This one takes place a few months after MC is born. These are exclusive to the Fae tier on Patreon!
"When is he coming back?” Ezrah asked, watching his mother work from across the room.
The apothecary was more barren than usual. Gutted, devoid of life; just like her. Her eyes, the same brown as Ezrah’s own, seemed dim in comparison to his memory.
“Never,” She says, the word clipped, “Quit asking, Ezrah, please.”
“But he was nice.” Ezrah protested before stealing a glance at the small crib across the room, “And doesn’t he want to know his own-?”
“Enough.” The word was stressed as if she was teetering on the precipice of her patience and was about to be pushed over.
His shoulders slumped as he watched her continue to sort herbs. Perhaps he was going too far, but…
“He was nice, though.” Ezrah pouted, “He reminded me of dad.”
The glass jar shattered in her hand, and a long string of curses followed soon after. Blood dripped to the floor, each splatter a ricochet. Ezrah stared, wide-eyed and shocked, as she turned an angry gaze on him. He’d never seen her look so mad, not in all his seven years alive.
