What's the au?

I'm assuming you mean the AU based on @pomellon 's art so here goes :3

Basically, Euplerians are this species Pom came up with that are sort of 'lab rats' - they're made for specific purposes by a company as designer creatures for a bunch of different reasons :3

Pom has his own au surrounding them so mine is like. semi related lol.

Basically it involves Pandora (the company that makes Eupies) getting commissioned by a government/military to make a 'super weapon' Euplerian, which is named Project D.R.E.A.M.. They designed this Eupie to be super smart, fast, and strong because he's a superweapon (also he was supposed to have the ability to be radioactive at will), but Dream broke containment once he realized what they were making him for, killing a scientist in his panicked scramble to escape but sparing the other scientist in the room, George.

Now Pandora is putting together an effort to try and recapture Dream before he can get too far away from them - but that's difficult because he's sort of 'half baked' - meaning his powers and abilities are all wonky and they haven't had time to neutralize them - instead of being radioactive at will he's radioactive all the time, for example.

I have a sort of rough character list in my head too - it's got most of munchy on there, and Punz is in it but he gets into a fight with Dream and dies (oof).

Basically in terms of characters: George - Human researcher, from the UK and works mostly on the computers/genetic sequencing of the eupies Velvet - Human researcher Skeppy - Human researcher and close friends with Bad. Tony - Human researcher who came onto the project super late in the game and immediately befriended Sapnap.

Punz - Eupie, originally commissioned as a kid for a family but was brought back to the facility after they died, his blood is full of lead and boron because they were trying to make him immune to Dream's radiation. Also he dies after he went rogue and attempted to kill Dream instead of just restrain him. Ice attribute at first which then turned into some kind of chemical attribute when he needed to neutralize Dream. Bad - Eupie, designed to be a guard/caretaker/assistant class mix who mostly runs errands and keeps an eye on the other Eupie residents - he's the oldest Eupie there so mostly he acts like a dad and tries to stop everyone from killing each other (metaphorically) Part of the team designed to capture Dream, upgraded to Hunter class. Sapnap - Eupie, defective guard class who was initially supposed to be terminated (was scraped due to underdevelopment), but he was rescued by Bad who raised him and who he sees as a father figure. Part of the team designed to capture Dream, so upgraded to Hunter class. Antfrost - Eupie who's not in the story that much. Assistant to Velvet, and later part of the team designed to try and capture Dream, upgraded to Hunter class. Sam - Eupie, designed as a guard/companion initially but upgraded to a Hunter class after he volunteered to help with the search for Dream. Foolish - Entertainment class, literally just a livestreamer like he is irl just considerably fluffier. Lives with Karl (human) and Tina (also a human) in NC and Dream hides in their house for a little during part of the story.

Decided to make things easy for myself this time around and just work from a base when making character refs. So have some rough designs for the Euplerian au!

I have this one au I’ve been poking at off an on again that I’ve only shared with a couple of friends so far. This is an old quick concept I made of Punz and the species most of the characters are. Call em euplerian, they’re a man made species originally meant to be used as lab rats

Bad Assistant/Guard class  Carnage Attribute 

A lab assistant who also functions as a guard within the Pandora Labs. Oversees production of new euplerians and tends to their physical and mental development after they’ve been removed from their pods. 

Status: Turned rogue, escaped

Puffy Guard/Assistant class Earth Attribute 

A guard within the Pandora Labs. Oversees various productions within the labs and makes sure no classified documents or materials are taken from the facilities. Shares DNA with Project Dream and has been assigned to take a maternal role should the experiment survive the pod development.

Status: Guard within Pandora 

Skeppy  Experiment/Harvest class Earth Attribute 

An experiment developed to constantly grow layers of thick diamond scales to be harvested in semi-regular intervals. Is not allowed to leave the facilities due to being an experiment and harvest class euplerian. Allowed minimal stimulation and socialization to keep docile and cooperative. 

Status: Turned rogue, escaped

Sapnap Defect class  Fire Attribute 

A military/guard class moved to defect due to underdevelopment within the pod developmental stages.

Status: Scrapped

Dream Experiment/— class — Attribute

Classified experiment. 

Status: Missing, assumed dead

Sam Experiment class Light Attribute

Status: Terminated

Punz Adoption/pet class  Ice Attribute 

A commissioned cub adopted by a loving family and raised as a human child. Was put in the adoption system after human parents suddenly passed away, and is struggling to adjust to their new pet classification.

Status: Runaway

George Mascot/work class  Lightning Attribute 

A commissioned mascot for a famous tech development company, also able to be employed as a worker. Has made several achievements and improvements to the industry but is only publicly known as the face of the company and for being a social media influencer.

Status: Missing, assumed kidnapped

i dunno if you take requests or anything but i feel like i need to see euplerian ranboo i feel like the enderman design would transfer over nicely

Ranboo would look really good as a eupie! I can see him having really big/long ears, long-ish fur, and maybe a split tail :D

He probably won't show up in this au since I scaled it down to be more DTK+/Munchy Crew centric, and I rarely take requests due to pretty much working with art 24/7, but you're more than welcome to make your own euplerian designs! I always love when people to take inspiration from my aus and I love to see other people's takes, art styles, and writing <3

Sometimes I get stuck thinking about euplerian!Drunz because they’re so into each other for all the right and wrong reasons and I can’t wait to actually talk more about the au
