I wonder what he’s waiting for to announce the line up…maybe they’re waiting for all the artists to 100% confirm?
The Mexico FITF shows haven’t sold out yet. I think a few more promo days in Latam (Sao Paulo was brilliant) and they’ll be able to sell 5k more in Mexico City, and then they’ll announce AFHF lineup.
I don’t know whether LTHQ/ Louis got humbled by Asia (probably not), but they’re doing some last minute promo for Latam which is what they should have done for Asia. People with limited means and who have to plan for travel expenses need to feel the love, and they need to feel it from Louis, specifically.
Doing essentially two international tours in Europe but zero for Asia… well, we can all tell who Louis loves, can’t we? I mean even if the basis for this schedule is logistics, it’s a bad look, especially since Louis won’t even address the cancellation with any kind of candor. It opens the fandom to racism and xenophobia, exactly like what we see every single time he comes to Latam. Without fail.
Fans from India are some of the most enthusiastic and active Louies, but they have to watch from afar and get not even a little bone thrown to them. They don’t get merch, they don’t win contests, they don’t get meet & greets, they don’t get livestreams and conversations, they don’t even get the possibility of a tour. Same goes for the entire continent of Africa, as well as New Zealand and Asia.
To build an audience, there needs to be someone who will research the fanbases and local cultures, and some show of love. The audiences are there… the Google searches are there. Ed Sheeran just did an incredible tour across Asia. It can be done.

Harry and Louis on many occasions expressed to perform in India. it is really a diversified culture. But maybe due to logistics and planning, they either have to put hold on it or skip for that tour. Honestly being an Indian, sometimes I personally don’t want them to come here. Even though they can be lowkey, the Hindi(regional language) Actors,Actresses and Producers throw them a party and expect them to come only to take photos with them, their kids and rest of the generation. This personally happened with Ed Sheeran. And the paps are way worse than American paps, trust me. So it’s like I want them to come but then again, I don’t want them to tour here. If you know what I mean.
Yeah, I hear what you’re saying. Hopefully, if they do come, they’ll be able to manage all of that stuff better. 🫤

in the case of india, there are reasons why artists rarely tour there or only do a one off concert. it’s mainly to do with lack of suitable venues, poor organization of events, and a very high entertainment tax on live events that makes tickets inaccessible to the average fan. artists often have to depend on sponsors to cover half the costs to make it economically feasible for them to perform - it’s estimated that without a sponsor, the artist has to sell at least 10-12k tickets just to break even (ed sheeran performed for 12k people in mumbai)
oh yikes but harry's doing like minimum 10-12k shows, most of them are way more - do u think the fanbase wouldn't be there?

From Ed Sheeran's stadium-style venue to hosting global artistes, India's live entertainment industry is
Ensuring that no view was a bad view at Ed Sheeran ‘s concert in Mumbai, the Mahalaxmi Racecourse was transformed into a monumental stadium-style venue recently. Ed, who performed in the city as part of his Mathematics Tour, sang, danced and ran around the stage several times but fans were treated to all the running, singing and dancing from all angles because of the 360-degree circular,…

Ed Sheeran rocks Aryan Khan’s D’yavol jacket; mother Gauri Khan gives a sweet shout-out
Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan turned into the coolest hosts for global music sensation Ed Sheeran during his recent India visit.
Get ready for a dose of heart-warming celebrity interactions!  Ed Sheeran, the Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, is currently in India for his second concert, and last night, Bollywood royalty, Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, hosted him for a star-studded evening at their residence, Mannat.
Tumblr media
Gauri Khan took to Instagram to share glimpses of the fun evening. In a photo, she beams alongside Ed Sheeran, looking stunning in a vibrant blue dress. Ed sported a cool jacket – and eagle-eyed fans noticed it belonged to Aryan Khan's clothing line, D'yavol.x!
The night wasn't just about pictures; there was music too! A video on Gauri's feed shows Ed Sheeran serenading the guests with his iconic song, ‘Thinking Out Loud,’ on his guitar. Joining Gauri in the festivities were her friends, filmmaker Farah Khan and director Kaajal Anand.
The fun didn't stop there! Shah Rukh Khan himself shared a hilarious video where he teaches Ed Sheeran his signature pose – all under the direction of none other than Farah Khan!  Sharing the lighthearted moment, Shah Rukh Khan captioned the video, "This is the Shape of Us. Spreading love together...."
Mini Mathur, a Bollywood actress and wife of director Kabir Khan, who attended the party, couldn't resist sharing her experience.  She posted photos with Ed Sheeran, calling him "warm, curious, funny" and "like someone we all know from another time."  She also thanked Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan for a perfect evening.
Ed Sheeran's India trip isn't just about partying with Bollywood stars. The singer has a big heart too!  On Tuesday, he visited a school in Mumbai and interacted with the students. A video shows him singing ‘Shape of You’ with the enthusiastic students clapping along. He even described the experience as "so so much fun!"
He will be performing in Mumbai on March 16th as part of his +-=÷/x tour.

Hey Gina!! I was just scrolling thru your blog and all I'm saying is that I totally agree with the anon that said that they don't want H&L to come to India.
I'm Indian too and trust me the objectification and judgement faced by celebrities is crazy here. The homophobia here is absolutely mind blowing too.
Celebrities are treated as if they're just objects for people's entertainment and nothing else. You don't like what a celebrity wears? Fuck them. You don't like that two celebrities wanted their marriage to be private? Fuck them.
The objectification of women here, oh my god. Every single fucking thing they wear is objectified, every single fucking thing they do is faced by judgement.
Once an actress went to her husband's cricket game here, and the team didn't really perform very well. Guess whose fault it was? The actress's.
(Not that the celebrities are all innocent either. A celebrity ran over 5 homeless people sleeping on the street once. One died. The worst thing is that he never really faced any repercussions. And he also poached two blackbucks once.)
Ed Sheeran came here once, as the anon mentioned, and all the Bollywood actors treated him like he was their ticket to fame, and not a real person.
Don't get me wrong, I love my country, but sometimes the people here act rally shitty.
I'd love to see Harry and Louis one day but I really don't want them to experience this shit.
Sorry, I was trying to tell that I don't want them too come here but it soon turned into a rant about my country😅
TL;DR- I love my country but also hate the situation in here and I really don't want the boys to come here. I also wholeheartedly agree with the anon. And also love your blog.
Hi sweetheart. Oh wow. I honestly can’t even imagine how it would be if they went there. It really would be so nice if more artists did live streams so that countries who rarely get tours could experience these shows.
