What do you think Charles and Gion's ideal types are?
From what I've noticed in the comics of prince series, Charles and Gion are the most ambitious and power-hungry type. (Not that others aren't power-hungry themselves)
Keeping in mind that these are young royals who will ascend the throne in their future as the new leaders, I'd like to say that these two would either want someone powerful. More specifically their equals or slightly lesser than them.
Reasons?
They themselves are powerful enough. They would want someone as their equal to love and respect. Anything less than that would tranish the good name and reputation They have.
They have to care for themselves before caring for their partners. They don't want anyone to drag them down.
Next, power means connections.
Reasons
It is undeniable that royalty cared about the connections they make. Having a powerful partner who is also an ally in political, ecomonical and social aspects is important.
I doubt these two would care for someone lesser than them if they do not provide good use for them.
This may be why Prince Gion is still single. He is a perfect being with high standards. Anyone lesser would tarnish his precious reputation.
As for Prince Charles with Carla. I have no words for this. I personally think that Charles is looking to establish his position in the high society and Carla is an easy target to use.
Of course, with power comes great responsibility. To have responsibility, you need knowledge. Therefore, they will want a witty and knowledgeable partner.
Reasons
Once again, reputation.
They have the entire world looking at them through the mass media.
Of course, once you have power and brains, beauty is just a bonus.
In conclusion, they will want power, brains and beauty—unless they are trying to achieve something else.

hey jen! love your blog! if you dont mind, have a question for you... but heres a bit of an explanation first; im a lesbian in my 20s from the rural midwest. im sure you know what i mean when i say there arent tons of us around here. so even though i desperately want lesbian friends, any time i come across another lesbian out in the world, i get weird. i want to be friends but i get so intimidated and scared of rejection that i become almost territorial about it? like my place in the world is being taken or something. its hard to describe!
have you experienced anything like this? did you grow out of it? i feel bad about it because like i said, i want friends! but it seems so difficult to get out of my own head when it comes to stuff like this.
Fear of isolation is a common and nasty reality for many lesbians even in very open cities. It is the reason I, as many others, get into friendships or relationships that lasted WAY longer than they should have. We stick around because we know we crave connections with other lesbians and that need often overrides our common sense. We stay with someone because they are a lesbians not because they have other qualities that bring us happiness. I stayed 17 years when about 2 would have been plenty.
In college i was not even out but desperately clingy to others I preceived as gay or lesbian. I stayed friends with one gay man, loyal to him to a fault, finally decidiing his continued unhealthy behavior was too much. Of course by 22 I had other gay and lesbian friends so it was easier to cut that tie. Otherwise, who knows how much I would have put up with?
Think of it this way, in high school we naturally find others like ourselves, all teens do, in order to feel like we are a part of a group. Groups in elemetary, Jr and High school are important to our "survivial". They offer protection, shared experiences to help us grow and learn, social skills and how to navigate relationships as we moved towards adulthood.
Now, as young lesbians, we have a limited amount of others "like us" so we find friendship groups based on other things like location, (where we live in proximity) hobbies, sports, socio-ecomonic class and even just the classes we share. In order to maintain these valuable friendships we often hide our sexuality because it is better to hide it than endanger premade connections that, as humans, we perceive as necessary to our survival. Humans are naturally social animals with a need to be in a group.
As we grown older and expand our friend pool outside of "all stuck in the same school for 12 years" we find other lesbians and we really crave sharing that part of ourselves, or at least not hiding it or keeping it on the down low. We have built up lesbian friendship as the "goal" and when a goal has been unattainable but is now in reach, it causes a fair amount of stress and anxiety that we are so close but could still blow it.
I can tell you from experience, you will not like all lesbians and you will love your straight/bi friends whom see you as you. Lesbian friends are amazing and it is nice to share that one thing, same sex attraction, because you understand so much more about how you both experience life. It is okay to meet lesbians and not become life long friends. Sometimes the connection is short and that is okay. You will find lesbian friends who become like family if that is what you want. Your over excitement and awkwardness is something most of them will also have gone through and will help you get to the other side to comfort and trust.
My first girlfriend took me to a woman's festival (I was very unsure about that whole deal) and in the process I met many lesbians who are still my friends today, including that ex and her wife. The midwest is full of women's festivals, small concert venues where women artists attracted the lesbian crowd and Iowa City has one of the oldest and best lesbian archives at the University. Midwest lesbians are a special breed.
So try to relax as you make friends knowing there are others and every lesbian you meet will not be the only lesbian you will every meet.

Do not know how ecomonic inflation is calculated but like. I feel like if the shit I sell goes up. 20. 25? Percent every few month. I mean thats bad.

my boss just asked me for a one page summary of the ecomonic conditions that lead to the rapid suburbanization of our city in the 60s. He then plans to use this page to make a 30second throw away comment on the issue in a departmental presentation. I'm so tempted to send him this 900 page dissertation I just found that answers his question.

KotS | Galatra | Fun facts
Galatra society is split in two ways: the region (north, south, east, west) someone lives in and their ecomonic class. [Basically like real life but I have funny names for them :)]
Regional stereotypes
Northerner
The high class region of Galatra, the people that live there are generally connected to the dissolved noble class.
Generally stuck up and pretentious.
Having unblemished skin is seen as odd in Galatra, but northerners make a point of not getting into scuffles or doing hard labor.
Artisans often live in this area, specifically painters and sculptors.
Before the kingdom was found, the northern tribe of this region was the largest of the old tribes, and while not the most physically fit, used siege tactics to absorb the other tribes into their own. Basically, the kingdom of Galatra was formed from the northern region’s conquest.
Westerner
The business center of Galatra, this region is very similar to the northern region in the perception that everyone there is rich, but in reality there are far less wealthymen than not.
The birthplace of Galatra’s Industrial Revolution.
People from the west are seen as more approachable than northerners, but are similarly distrusted by most people.
Western names often include hyphens, which is a layover from the tribal days where parents would name their children after themselves. Example: name of father- Hof-Niko + name of mother- Olga-Kyvn = name of child- Kyvn-Hof (paternal) or Niko-Olga (maternal).
The western tribe was the first to be assumed into the northern tribe due to outside pressures of an enemy country as the only tribe that shared a boarder with them. The western boarder has shrunk since then.
Southern
The south is the brightest region of Galatra, known for bright colors and special grown plants, glowvers, that emit light.
The people are seen as loud, bold, and foul mouthed. More extravagant folk moved down south, making the region the entertainment capital of the kingdom.
Southern people are usually on two ends of a bell-curve; if someone is really short, they’re probably from the south, and if someone is really tall, they’re probably from the south. The south is not average.
Commonly found artisan goods are usually food related, like pastries, bread, or wine. This is because the south has the best access to the coast, and therefore first dips on imported goods. Other region’s businessmen are eager to wedge in the market.
The southern tribe fought the hardest against northern conquest. They were generally more physically skilled than other tribes, but when cut off from inland wood for fire or mines for coal, the tribe slowly succumbed.
Docks
Most Galatrians see the docks as synonymous to the south, but the region has a lot of cultural differences.
The south has a great emphasis on individuality, more family before community, while the docks generally try to fold community into a family structure. Neighbors are expected to act like aunts or uncles, where one family can watch another’s children with the expectation the favor will be returned eventually.
In a general sense, it’s like the western region and the southern region fused and allowed immigration.
The region runs up from the southern to the western coast of Galatra, and the people living there make trade in exporting and importing after the Industrial Revolution.
Home of Galatra’s first ship and fleet.
In the past, members of the southern tribe that were able to flee the northern siege ended up at the coast. When they arrived, they met a population of banished members of the enemy country. Since then the docks have become a rich culture of both nations.
Eastern
A highly distrusted population in Galatra, home of witchcraft and other such taboos
The east is a very quiet region, known for a mixture of infamous warriors, mages, and philosophers. Artisan goods from here are literature, paints, and talismans.
Purple is a very popular color in Galatra and the fibers that make the dye were grown almost exclusively in the eastern tribes before the Industrial Revolution. Trade was very beneficial to the east as purple dye was inexpensive to make locally. Through constant trade, northern tribes slowly developed walls around the eastern tribes, and only through habit did the eastern tribes become a part of the kingdom, officially becoming a Galatra region right before the first war.
Actually building a border around the eastern tribes was a difficult task. Most easterners could care less about the other regions and their developments. Frequently northern contractors building the border would be interrupted by an eastern family asking why they were building something on their gardens, or construction being undone overnight.
To this day the eastern border is fuzzy, and where exactly the region begins and ends depends on who you ask and when. A large sprawl of now-abandoned timber fields between the east and north further complicates matters.

3 Nephi, Chapter 10. Part 4: Zenos and Zenock.
Zenos is knowledge, Zenock "the leap" is its embodiment. These refer specifically to a process by which the Holy Ghost enters the flesh and performs its works of faith through mankind.
Every religion has scriptures which testify to what this looks like on the outside: do not kill, do not steal, do not lie, do not covet, do not slander, etc. The ability to do these things and become Christlike anointed of God is the end point of holding back on the performance of these things.
The Book of Mormon says if we do, we leave a seed behind that shows others how and why to do the same things. Without these seeds the seat of civilization has potential to crumble as we are seeing. All the scriptures forbid granting power to persons like Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin but we have done it. Now we must focus on what the religion says to do about it becuase things cannot continue.
To veil the mind and the entire planet with ideas about the feasibility of future attacks and expansions of cruel corrupt regimes "post election" is a sin. These things and their orginators must be stopped now, today, and the lives they have touched must be given everything they need in order to resume civilization:
15 Behold, I say unto you, Yea, many have testified of these things at the coming of Christ, and were slain because they testified of these things.
16 Yea, the prophet Zenos did testify of these things, and also Zenock spake concerning these things, because they testified particularly concerning us, who are the remnant of their seed.
17 Behold, our father Jacob also testified concerning a remnant of the seed of Joseph. And behold, are not we a remnant of the seed of Joseph? And these things which testify of us, are they not written upon the plates of brass which our father Lehi brought out of Jerusalem?

There must be an account and ministry, Zenos and Zenock. From these come the law and duty and they are clear: we need to spare the rest of the human race the horror proposed by Donald Trump and the savages that follow him, kill Vladimir Putin and his enablers and bless the Russian people and their neighbors with a real government and its ecomonics.
I will never understand why we allowed things to become so awful. We sat and watched and deliberated, but drew no conclusions at all that these people might really need our help and be glad for it. To deny the importance of such gladness all around the world, to avoid wanting to see it given back to us is the antithesis of the practice of religion.

1. Are you named after anyone?
My mum was watching a movie and the character’s name was Rachel - apparently the character was a real bitch, so you could say I was named after a bitch!
2. When was the last time you cried?
Ummm, a couple of weekends ago when my partner said he wasn’t going to stay over.
3. Do you have kids?
No, I’m a tad too old to start having any. I have a fur baby instead.
4. Do you use sarcasm a lot?
Yep - probably more than I should!
5. What's the first thing you notice about people?
Probably their face and height, then wait and see what the personality is like. (In regards to my partner, he sent me a pic of a certain body part, so that’s what I noticed first! Plus he was a guy I went to high school with, so I already knew what his face looked like!)
6. What's your eye color?
Hazel/brown - they seem to change
7. Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings for sure! (Duffer brothers, this includes you - ST5 better have a happy ending!!) I can’t do scary movies at all!!!
8. Any special talents?
Not really - I can knit and am good at cross stitch too - not sure if they are talents though.

10. What are your hobbies?
Knitting, watching TV - usually the same shows over and over (mainly Friends, The Big Bang Theory and Stranger Things!), spending time with my man or with my bestie.

I have my fur baby, my 17 year old cat Tabatha, she has been in my life since the day she was born in my housemate’s wardrobe - she’s my four legged bestie
12. What sports do you play/have played?
I did gymnastics when I was really young and was pretty crap at it. Played hockey and netball as a teen - was a brutal hockey player. Won the grand final in my first and only year playing netball so I have a cool trophy, that’s all I wanted!

5'9" or 175cm
14. Favorite subject in school?
I liked English, I really liked writing short stories but a lot of the teachers at my high school only seemed to like helping the cool kids - and I was not one of those! I also liked Home Ecomonics/Catering cos it was always about cooking!
15. Dream job?
I wanted to be so many things when I was a kid but my mum would always find a way to discourage me. If I was brave enough, I’d like to be famous - actor or stand up comedian - but I’m not brave and don’t think I have the talent to do either

The government of this country (UK) needs to get a fucking grip.
You know what i've realised? there's the economy, and there's
"The Economy ᵀᴹ".
Tories constantly talk about saving the economy, which in reality is the ability for normal people to have excess money to spend, circulating currency, i.e. what the economy actually is.
(remember in the pandemic when no-one was spending money unnessecarily on anything non-vital and the economy tanked? yeah.)
But what they actually mean is that they want to save "The Economy ᵀᴹ" which is the code name for all the fucking rich people and the big ass corporations and energy suppliers keeping as much money for themselves and not letting anyone else have any.
The fucking Tories have always saved "The Economy ᵀᴹ" at the expense and destruction of the real economy.
They're still parroting rhetoric from the age old 'trickle down ecomonics' bible of bullshit which over decades has been decried because it's been proven time and time again that it never fucking worked. EVER.
But why should they care if their empty excuses make no sense?
They have the power.
They have the money.
They don't care if you know they don't care.
They don't care if you suffer.
