at the post-tournament grand banquet, the elusian pair have set up a golden deer corner, complete with yellow and cervid decor and drapery, and both hosts arrayed in house colors and face paint.

tips for deer
antler headbands! there are *so* many ways to make these!
practice quadrobics in gaits that feel familiar!
wear things like faux suede, it looks and feels like a deer pelt!
do makeup with very soft looks and “doe-eye” eyeliner!
make little freckles with brown eyeliner to be like fawn speckles!
get/make shoes with hoofs on the bottom!
do black lipstick on your upper lip to look more deerlike, and play with contouring too!!
let yourself be quiet and gentle, but incredibly protective of loved ones, like a powerful stag!
nature walks! reconnect with home!
find a place to just lay in tall grass, and maybe come back to the same spot every now and then so the grass makes a little imprint! (please be careful to check for ticks if you have them in your area!!)
find a herd! (deer friends, or nondeer friends! just satisfy that herding instinct!)

Was looking for some info about witches which lead me to Baba Yaga (czech Ježibaba) which is how I found this charming description -

Well, obviously I had to draw one and then it spread into three illustrations for czech folk tale O Smolíčkovi. Tale about a boy who lives in a wood with a deer with golden antlers. 🌲🌼
