eok so with a slight delay here are my reset d’arby hcs

- since they ended on a positive note, their relationship in the reset universe is very healthy

- 5 yr age gap this time, their interests often intertwine

- in the reset uni Terence is 18 while Daniel is 23

- both have still have their respectful hobbies, but they’re less obsessive of them

- Daniel taught Terence how to cheat properly, and Terence in tern educated him a bit in bluffing

- because their counterpart’s lost in the most miserable of ways, reset Terence and Daniel never lose and make mistakes

- they make sure not to interact with other stand users and only target civilians

- reset Osiris is in all purple-pink hues

- both brothers are openly bisexual but never commit to any relationships, they prefer to keep it casual

- they live at Daniel’s

- Terence suffers from dependent personality disorder (that is my overall hc for him in general), so Daniel has taken to heart his responsibility for him and will most likely look after his brother until the day he dies

- unlike his counterpart, this Daniel is much more confident when it comes to bluffing and rarely panics when under stress

- Terence is mostly the same, but besides playing video games he also enjoys sports (tennis and baseball)

and now onto personal designs for them under cut!!

this is for Terence, i wanted to keep the same hair-style so not much is changed

again, he dyes his hair (usually pink)

The Dragon Prince Theory: Callum’s going to have to ‘win’ Runaan out of the coin that he’s in...

Warning...Spoilers. If you go any farther than this point and haven’t watched the Dragon Prince yet on Netflix, then I suggest you do so if you don’t want to be spoiled. To all others...well come on down.

So we all good? Good.

Now as some of you may know Lord Viren, the cad that he is, sucked out Runaan’s soul and placed it in a coin. This sent up flags to me of “Where Have I seen this before,” and that’s when I remembered, this is the same sort of trick Daniel J. D’arby pulls on Joseph Jostar and JP. Polneraff (sorry for the spelling right now. Running out of time will edit later).

So what do I mean. Well in episode eight we have this title card.

You can clearly see Runaan in the coin down there. Now the thing about this is that in Jojo’s series this happens due to a Stand. What is a stand? Well it’s sort of a fighting spirit that lets you do a lot of wacky things. In the case of D’arby, it allows him to put people into coins when they loose a game with him.

See the two faces there? That’s because Ponelraff and Joseph lost their bets with him. So he put them in there. Now as to how they got out? Well Jotaro, Joseph’s grandson, managed to actually out bluff D’arby and win the game because D’arby couldn’t continue. This allowed for the souls to be released.

Now the thing to keep in mind is that the body needs to be around to be freed. Due to the long amount of time that D’arby was doing this, many of his victims were dead or long gone, so their souls had no place to go to.

However in the case of Runaan we know where he’s at, and given that it seems like his body wasn’t left behind (or if I’m wrong it is still there in chains) then this will be an easier task for the team to deal with and they can save them.

We know that Viren isn’t a cheat, or as far as we can guess he’s not. It seems though like there’s a chance for Callum to pull a Jotaro against Viren or whomever is holding those coins. Callum is a sweet boy, not someone who is a stone faced mofo like Jotero, so I can’t see him bluffing his way out of a situation.

However he is smart, and I can see him tricking Viren though by some means. Either through offering him a fake egg, or pretending to be on his side to get close enough to get the coins. Or maybe making Viren think he can do something or knows something that Viren wants or desires.

This makes me think that, like Jojo’s situation, Callum will have to use some sort of guile to beat his opponent and win the day for Runaan. My guess is that either he will get Runaan out, or someone with more power than him will.

It seems to me that someone on the team may like Jojo’s because this is too much of a nod to not be anything but a moment of gotcha for fans who may know the reference to this moment.

Kind of hoping I’m right about this.
