Vibrant Auroras
In early November 2023, sky watchers across North America and Europe posted photos on social media of dazzling displays of the northern lights, also known as the aurora borealis. Colorful ribbons of light filled night skies, incited by a strong geomagnetic storm in Earth’s magnetosphere.
The VIIRS (Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite) sensor on the NOAA-NASA Suomi NPP satellite captured this image of the aurora over western Canada at 3:23 a.m. Mountain Time (10:23 Universal Time) on November 5, 2023. The aurora was so bright near Edmonton, Canada, it nearly saturated the satellite sensor. The event continued into the next evening, when skies in Glasgow, Montana, danced with pink and green light. The lights were especially bright near the U.S.-Canada border and in Alaska, but they were also faintly visible as far south as Texas.
The creation of an aurora typically starts when the Sun sends a surge of charged particles—through solar flares, coronal mass ejections, or an active solar wind—toward Earth. The solar particles collide with the magnetosphere and compress it, changing the configuration of Earth’s magnetic field. Some particles trapped in the magnetic field are accelerated into Earth’s upper atmosphere where they excite nitrogen and oxygen molecules and release photons of light, known as the aurora.
The aurora on November 5–6 was the product of multiple coronal mass ejections, large expulsions of magnetized plasma from the Sun’s corona, according to NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center. These bursts of plasma and energetic waves from the Sun crashed into Earth’s upper atmosphere, causing a strong geomagnetic storm.

A week before the storm, an astronaut on the International Space Station captured a photo (above) of another aurora while orbiting 260 miles (418 kilometers) above Utah on October 28, 2023. This aurora was likely caused by a coronal hole that rotated towards Earth, according to the Space Weather Prediction Center. A coronal hole is an area of relatively cooler material in the solar atmosphere that is open to interplanetary space. These dark regions on the Sun’s surface emit material in a high-speed stream.
If you like watching aurora displays such as these, you can participate in aurora citizen science through a project called Aurorasaurus. The project tracks auroras around the world via reports to its website and on social media, then generates a real-time global map of those reports. Citizen scientists verify reports, and each verified sighting serves as a valuable data point for scientists to analyze and incorporate into space weather models. The project is a public-private partnership with the New Mexico Consortium and is supported by the National Science Foundation and NASA.

To translate that into words, when we think of a Triangular rotating, we can think of an object in 3D whose location is fixed to a center by the intersection of x,y, and z, and then imagine that object’s continued existence exactly as it is consists of an identity which is maintained over a series of moves so it appears stable to our perception. By perception, I don’t mean as interpreted; I mean that we perceive, like rocks hurt us. Perception is the processing of information across and at each layer, which is defined sensibly now as a series of inner and outer models, literally the edges of Boundaries. This is true for the tangible, for the tObject, as well as the intangible: a 3D object can be considered as having a lot of those axes to account for each piece’s orientation and for each combination to the total image, and that’s a lot of structure to move.
That localizes gs construction, stuffs a lot of decisions into a smaller area, etc.
Trying to get back into this. The idea is that when we spin the bT, the state of the fT, then forms the same thing, another level fT enclosure, and that next enclosing level is the pull of 4D to the 3 existing fD formed at the smaller fT level. That is, it forms an fD with the entirety of a D3 structure, and it does so in any direction or along any axis. That’s a description of D3 and D4 generating, and you can see time now as this fT flickering. Let me try to get that out.
Mechanically, this means we generate D4 by creating an fD which stretches into the fT which is half that formed fD, so the Thing defined by the Triangular exists in a field similarly defined. That means we attach two 1-0Segments, with those being the paths to the 3rd End of a Triangular. Thus D4 is literally the Attachment of a 3rd End to a Thing, meaning the Thing is treated as a 1-0Segment, and that is another 2, another pairing which invokes 2, which invokes the orthogonal 2, which invokes a grid squares grid.
And note that D4 and D5 appear on the way to D6, which completes each cycle. You can then see D7 requires sliding and thus distorting to get the overlap shoved over to make the count of the next Winding visible.
Do you see what has happened? I’m now able to process all those diagram, geometric shape image lit up things I see in my perception, which I have always considered as coming from you because they are so simple and the action of flickering is basic, and thus they would make highly loadable communication symbols or signals. Like I was standing outside with the cat and I watched the fT draw and then it turn into an fD with the smaller flicker appearing so it looks like a line appears up the middle of each larger fD, like the line on a leaf.
So, let’s say you’re counting down: then you Wind the count down to D3, which happens across scales, across lots of Things within a Thing. That idealizes to reduction to the lowest or smallest component, which one could say is the barest D3, which is true because all Things factor, which is another way of saying they construct using common pieces and common methods so therefore they must factor in the ways allowable by what constructs them. That was a longish way of saying some things can be reversed, like you build a Lego castle and take it apart, because the act itself is abelian because Lego are constructed to be reused into shapes that make castles.
That’s finite construction within a larger process, still finite until you reach the ideas of abelian groups and other ways of describing the infinite process which encloses and which encodes the finite processes within. By encodes, we mean a few things. One of them is that any Thing has a signature in the larger dimensions, with that signature determined by the orderings inherent in its Windings. This is behind the notion of innocents going to heaven. Another is that this signature generates over 1-0Segments, meaning it manifests in how your particular Thing Winds, how it counts each pairing, and thus how each piece of you connects internally and externally. In drawing tems, this becomes a 1-0Segment drawn along the edge of an fT, or any larger Extent at scale, and that reduces to a point or intersection where that 1-0Segment is rotated a quarter turn.
Need to go back to sleep. I literally tipped over when I became dizzy. Mentioning the quarter turn did that in my head. Trying to reset my balance. Was dancing around a lot earlier and reached even better balance control in movements. Amazing how well that is meant to express pain free movement idealized.

He initially tried using a point-cloud modeling technique in his most recent project, Ascension, with the intention of bridging the gap between reality and 3D.
Martrin enhanced video material and animated himself in 3D using a variety of 3D programs. He utilized Daz Studio and Blender to sculpt and animate himself in a self-portrait throughout the earliest stages. His PC, which has two NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs, handled this job without issue.
Then, he created and animated his outfit using the GPU-accelerated Marvelous Designer cloth simulation engine.
Martrin emphasized how crucial GPU acceleration is to his creative process. I used it when? Every time I made a render and each of the innumerable times I checked my live viewer,” Martrin added.
Martrin then experimented with point-cloud modeling strategies. He started by 3D scanning his space. He then deployed the room as a group of data points in space to generate a distinctive visual style rather than using it as a typical 3D mesh.
The animation was then rendered using Cinema 4D and OctaneRender with RTX-accelerated ray tracing.
With the aid of NVIDIA CUDA technology, Martrin finished the project by using a GPU-accelerated composition and special effects in Adobe After Effects.

My Hero PSLE: S3E12 "To where and back again"

So now it was supposed to be time for the big battle! Yayyy!
Only Kiefer wants to use the Deadly Sins to play chess with the dragon thing! Noooo!
He summoned a table and two chairs, sat down, and then transformed the Deadly Sins into chess pieces.
"Oh look at that," Captain Obvious said. "We're missing one piece," The king. They're missing the most important piece, the king.
So Kiefer decided to summon one himself with his own blood. Eh whatever.
And then dragon thing manifested a human form, sat down and prepared his own magical chess pieces too to start playing.
And then Xiao Ming and entire squad was just sitting there watching Kiefer's and dragon things' passive-aggresive roasting be like:
K: "You should know that the reason I decided to wage war on you... pawn to E4.
D: "...btw, my name is Izanami, pawn to D5."
K: "So you do know why we're waging war on you. Pawn to C4."
I: "Pawn to C6. Can I say, why are you playing this game instead of just killing me? Hmm? Oh, I do wonder..."
K: "Oh? Isn't there meant to be some kind of hidden power in the Deadly Sins? Knight to F3."
I: "Well, yes, but...why play this game? Knight to F6."
K: "Because I need to win this in order to unlock the power, don't I? Knight to C3."
I: "...Pawn to E6."
K: "Oh? Why so quiet now? Well, if you're at a loss for words, let's talk about...why you destroyed the furry village then! Bishop to G5."
I: "I didn't destroy it, someone used the power of the Deadly Sins to force me to! Pawn to H6."
K: "Yes yes yes whatever, whatever helps you sleep at night. Bishop to H4."
I: "And what do you want me to say? Pawn to C4."
K: *with a creepy stalker smile on his face*: Pawn to E4."
And then Xiao Ming and squad fell asleep watching their boring chess game and passive aggresive roasting. Until-
I: "Knight to E6. CHECKMATE."
Oh fu-
HE'S GONNA UNLOCK THE HIDDEN POWER OF THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS NOW AND KILL US ALLLLLL! NOOOOO
"Those of noble and exalted Exuvian identity such as myself and the young gentleman over there should be the sole rulers of all land, not patethic filthy disgusting half-blood creations like you!"
But heng ah. When Kiefer realised he was being checkmated liao, he quickly take the Deadly Sins, transform them back into black diamonds, and then forced it into a visible portal (because clearly he doesn't have enough power to close the portal yet)
"HAHAHAHAHHA! Oh, it's cute that you think that CAN STOP ME!"
And then Izanami immediately rushed forward to where the portal was and tried to steal the seven Deadly Sins from him.
But of course Kiefer also try to run away. And also the others tried to slow or kill Izanami.
Freya rushed forward and directed her sword at him. Then he threw a magically charged shot at her. Then Xiao Hua tried to deflect it back to him, but it just ended up creating another portal to end up hitting him, Grandmaster, Xiao Kang, Zhi Hua, Aniya, and the furry pheonix and lion and fox. Wah it hit and took out a lot of people sia.
"FUCK U LAH! CHAO CIBAI!" Zhi Hua screamed at Xiao Hua.
"Sorry..."
Six charged up his lightning sword with dark energy and swirled it with water, wind and ice energy too. Wah never knew he could wield so many elements sia. I guess water is stormy weather, wind is tornados, and ice is blizzard? Idk
Anyway then he did manage to hit Izanami with his super-electro-charged lightning bolt but then all it did to him was just like: PEW! *has a mild 5 second seizure* "Oh I'm sorry you were saying?"
Whoops. Then Juqla and Tempest tried to be big brain and shoot him from afar with a bow and gun respectively I guess lmao.
But then of course it didn't work. He just like grabbed the arrow and bullet and just flung it back at them like PEW! *grabs the bullet mid-flight and then flings it back*
And then he went ahead and killed more people.
So basically everyone except Xiao Ming is half-dead. Well that's not good.
So of course it's up to Xiao Ming to save the day. Ya'll pussies can't do one simple thing without needing Xiao Ming to co-
So anyway he swooped in, drew his sword, and...got hit by a volt of magic before he can even start properly fighting yet.
And then Izanami took his sword and continously stabbed him (per se New York man who gets stabbed every 52 seconds)
And then after he was done having fun stabbing Xiao Ming he used Xiao Ming's blood and paralysed Kiefer and stopped him however far he had run.
"Finally," Izanami said as he slowly walked over to Kiefer, sneering at him as he passed him by, "All that trouble just for seven black stones. Haiya, ya'll all so mafan one leh,"
Then he reached forward to the portal and used his divine elemental power, and forced the Deadly Sins out of the portal.
But wait-why the hell did that hurt for him?
"Oh and by the way, I should tell you one last thing before you ascend to godhood and all or idk," said Xiao Ming half-dead at some random corner.
"WHAT THE HELL IS IT?" Izanami was getting impatient now.
"All that you've seen, is but an illusion."
WAIT-
XIAO MING! HIS BASE POWER AS A TURBIDUS! DREAMWALKING AND CREATING ILLUSIONS IN OTHER PEOPLE'S MINDS AND DREAMS! HOLY SHIT-
"Wait huh-" Izanami questioned, then almost immediately his entire surroundings began to melt away and reveal his real surroundings.
And it also revealed what he really pulled out and why it had hurt-his Exuvian Anodyne.
Well, what Xiao Ming had read from Izanami's memories was that that was the core strength of every Exuvia, and grants them divine power far stronger than their already powerful selves. But the only way to take it was if the Exuvia gave it up themselves or another stronger more powerful Exuvia were to take it with their powers (which Xiao Ming clearly isn't).
So essentially Xiao Ming and gang just tricked him into forcing it out himself. The source of all his power, man. The source of all his power. The source of all an Exuvia's power. Man.
And then before Izanami had time to react, he felt his stomach get pierced by something extremely sharp from behind. Must have been a sword of some kind-it's always the swords.
*camera pans to the right* Reveals Izanami's shocked face accompanied by-while holding his sword used to stab Izanami in place, Xiao Ming's smug as fuck face.

WIP Update - 1 Feb 2024
Been on vacation for the last 2+ weeks (since Jan 13th) so got very little writing done. Over the past 3 weeks I touched 6 fics ( 2 WIPs & 4 new works) for a total of  890 words.

You get killed … walk it off.” - I combined this with a Tumblr writing prompt “things you said I wish you hadn’t” (requested by @gayspacesprinkles​)  for The Things You Said I Wish You Hadn’t   - post-mission fic with  Clint angst  and vaguely hinted at Clint/Steve. It came in at 245 words.
* D5 - Long Distance Relationship - posted  Not Too Far Down the Tracks as a crossover Flash Fiction Friday Prompt  Late Night Train.  It’s a Stony College AU ficlet that  I added onto to squeeze my TSB Doing Groceries square into.  It came in 411 words.

Meet ASUS' Newest Range of ExpertCenter Desktops

Taiwanese electronics giant ASUS recently unveiled its newest additions to its ExpertCenter PC range, a line of machines designed for business and enterprise users - these include the new ExpertCenter D5 Tower (D500TE), and the ExpertCenter D7 Tower (D700TE). The computers come with the latest 13th Generation Intel Core processors, alongside NVIDIA GPUs, and are built into a 27-liter case for maximum expandability. ASUS says that the new models are "meticulously engineered to deliver professional performance, easy maintenance, enterprise-grade security and manageability." The company also stated that the computers are designed using military-grade standards, making them more durable than your average desktop build. The D5 Tower leans more towards education and retail applications, and comes with the Intel Core i7-13700 processor, and 64 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz memory. On the other hand, the D7 is designed more for content creation, data analytics, as well as manufacturing industries, packing the Intel Core i9-13900, and 128 GB of RAM. Both models also feature the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, and are also available with up to 4 TB of hard disk storage, in addition to a 2 TB PCI Express 4.0 SSD, and come with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity. For software, the computers will come with the latest Windows 11 desktop OS. ASUS has also integrated its MyASUS app with both models, granting users access to a selection of first-party ASUS software - this includes apps for easy management of fan profiles for different scenarios for example, as well as connectivity with Android and iOS devices. As for security, the D5 Tower and D7 Tower also come with ASUS Business Manager, which includes USB Blocker data-movement controls, system back-track, and an encrypted virtual partition to store important data. Physical security is also covered, with the inclusion of a Kensington lock slot to tether the case to a fixed object. Also included is an upgradable chassis, with a modular, easy-to-open design without the need for additional tools. For example, users can instantly open the D7 thanks to quick-release internal components, and this goes for the hard disk and optical drives too, reducing time and effort when upgrading your components. ASUS says that upgrading the PCs is all the more easy now, and users can simply use their hands for quick and easy repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
