Just over a few days i’ve noticed that the nopixel tag is much more populated, which feels weird and is wonderful at the same time. I’ve been seeing more art, more aus and just more content! Because of this, I will tell all of the few who follow me a secret.

This blog has existed for over a year. I remember when the tag would be dead for days, excluding one or two new posts. There are very few nopixel enjoyers here, and it’s always felt like a select few of us just yelling into the void, trying to enjoy something that wasn’t thriving on this platform.

Which brings me to the entire reason why I made this blog. It was the hope of cultivating more nopixel content on tumblr. I began reblogging any and all nopixel art and posts i could get a hold of. I tried writing fun tags to give people motivation to make more art. I love nopixel and it’s community, and I saw so much potential for it, especially on tumblr. I wanted to create an account that if someone looked up nopixel on tumblr, they would find my blog and have tons of content to look at. Almost like an archive. With more people coming from Twitter, I see the passion that everyone has for different subsections of this community while enjoying the whole of it. From cop viewers, to crim viewers, to the most based of them all, james randall viewers (kidding, kidding). It has made me very happy to see more content, more art, more everything. Please, no matter what, or how cringy you feel, make fan creations based off what you love. Everyone else will love it too. No matter the activity, I hope to continue reblogging and posting nopixel content for you all (with the occasional rdr2 rp reblog or post lol) And I’m sorry if I sound pretentious in this post, but it is the truth!

What inspired you to create your OC Turk Vanna?

The Final Fantasy VII remake trailer back in 2015 inspired me to create Vanna of the TURKs. The trailer made me revisited my favorite compilation series: Crisis Core and Before Crisis. I have a soft spot for TURKS and Zack. I discovered role-playing and headcanons after skimming through some FF7 RP blogs on tumblr and wanted to give it a try. :-)

Crim's and Owlteria's art is the reason why I wanted to draw headcanon content for my RP blog.

Vanna was made long before the role-playing started, but in a totally different design, name, and not part of any fandoms.

Note to self: if the ‘all RPs on hold’ test does not satisfy me.

Fandom... I realise that it makes me feel so busy. And I feel accomplished when I click post, but does not make me feel productive. So I keep putting in more hours! I’m doing a lot, but I am never getting anything done.

I will start thinking about a break. Thoughts listed below.

DA THOUGHTS

What would happen if I would take a week-long break from fandom?

I would miss it horribly.

This is the detox period.

Arms would heal massively.

Two weeks?

I would get time.

Would I lose my friends?

No, Lady. Not the important ones.

Would may acquaintances suddenly and irreversibly replace my Orochimaru with another person’s Oro? Only be friends with them?

I find my writing friends’s muses irreplaceable. Even duplicates.

What do I do if people jump into my chat?

The other photo (a blasphemously wonky photo) shows off my collection of mugs. The left three are from the artist @k-koji‘s etsy store, and I am so fond of them that I want more. I think I will want he entire set of FF7 characters!

When others (housemates) drink from any of my special mugs, a sort of stiffness overcomes me that isn’t possessive. I don’t want to say I dislike it, because I don’t, just... they’re special to me? I only let dear friends drink from them! (The rest gets normal mugs) I started this post because I wanted to show @lyrasanzennine my how trashy I am with my Ai no Kusabi mug and then grabbed every one of my special mugs, ahahaha.

Genesis, because my closest friends Dyana/Lily neeeed to have their own mug when they stay over at my place! :D This is the way of the universe.

Sephiroth, because I need my own mug to match. ^__^ I use it when I’m working on cosplay or roleplaying.

Sasuke/Itachi, because I’m a big fan of them too. :D I use it when I do roleplays in the Naruto fandom.

Iason/Riki, I intended this to be a gift to another one of my closest friends, but realised gifting it would be a faux pas, so I began using it. When I told her, we laughed about it. I thought it so funny my cheeks hurt from laughing.

Text-mug, that one Crim bought for me as a present in a church that was used as a photo gallery in Amsterdam. I drink from it whenever I want to write original fiction. In fact, I’m drinking from it now.
