It is not entirely lost on me that the character who's motivations are closest to that of eugenics is named Austerliz, while my character obsessed with the past is named Claudandus
#this means absolutely nothing to anyone who isn't me but. consider...#Claudandus is named after the character from Felidae#while Austerliz is named after the place and the book#but Austerliz falls much more in line with the 'life is hell francis' thing#that the character from Felidae has going on
