Welcome to our tutorial on how to change your Facebook location settings. Whether you've moved to a new city or just want to keep your location private, we've got you covered. Let's get started!
First, open the Facebook app on your mobile device. Once you're logged in, tap on the menu icon in the bottom right corner. Scroll down and select "Settings & Privacy."
From there, tap on "Settings" and then select "Location." You'll see options for "Location Services" and "Location History."
To change your location settings, select "Location Services." Here, you can choose between three options: "Never," "While Using the App," or "Always." Select the option that suits your privacy preferences.
If you want to clear your location history, go back to the previous page and tap on "Location History." Here, you can view all the locations Facebook has stored and even delete them if you want.
But what if you're using Facebook on a computer? No problem! Open your favorite web browser and go to facebook.com. Log in to your account and click on the arrow in the top right corner. From the drop-down menu, select "Settings & Privacy."
Next, click on "Settings" and then choose "Location" from the left-hand menu. You'll see the same options for "Location Services" and "Location History" as on the mobile app. Follow the same steps to update your preferences.
Remember, changing your location settings can enhance your privacy and protect your personal information. So take a moment to review and adjust these settings to your preference.
