The Cavemanon Files
This documentation is regarding Cavemanon. They are an independent development team that created Snoot Game (the parody of proudly LGBT indie game Goodbye Volcano High) and its spiritual successor, I Wani Hug That Gator!, which released on Steam February 14th, 2024.
The vast majority of this information had been compiled over the past few months by an independent team, and Caliber (ex-Cavemanon developer who worked on Snoot Game, credited as “Spigot The Bear Anon”), has volunteered to be the primary contact regarding this documentation.
Regarding the company’s newest game, I Wani Hug That Gator!, Cavemanon failed to pay wages towards many members of the development team, with the few members who did get paid being forced to sign a potentially fraudulent NDA contract and being offered as little as $50 for their work on a game that is estimated to have made $15k-$20k within a week of its launch. Among the people not paid – wages, royalties or otherwise – includes the creator of the concept, Loanshark, who had begun it as a passion project with his friends before Cavemanon took it over.
Additionally, “Nerd”, the head of Cavemanon and the originator of the Snoot Game idea, is openly anti-LGBT; he has admitted that anti-LGBT messages were fundamental to Snoot Game (and he’s upset more people don’t see it that way), and he has attempted to impose his personal views on the fandom. This has included attempting to assert control over moderation teams of an art server, sabotaging a gay mod for Snoot Game and accusing its creator of being a pedo, and having a Wani character be hastily redesigned a week before the game’s launch after finding out the artist had designed her as a transgender woman.
There’s a whole lot more, linked below, with citations in both links and screenshots. Some names and personal info are redacted for people’s safety.

(On a personal note: it’s cold comfort to me that I got doxed for calling Snoot Game transphobic, only to find out later that the guy behind it admitted that was the goal all along.)

[C] Olivia - Late Night Conversations
Commissioned by a twitter user. Many days in the making, a lot of things I learned and explored with this one, and perhaps more effort than I should have given it, BUT!!!! I am so happy with it. I hope you all enjoy this little piece <3 I can very much see this as Olivia's POV during those conversations during the night that just went on and on... She would never admit to her blushing, I'm sure. A 2000x2000 version and WIPs for this animation can be found on my Patreon.   Find me and support me on other places!

Experience the Quirky and Relatable World of I Wani Hug that Gator
Tumblr media
I Wani Hug that Gator is a unique choice-driven narrative game for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. The incredible team behind Cavemanon deserves heartfelt thanks for this release. Available on Steam and itch with 98% Overwhelmingly Positive reviews. Since we're always on the lookout for games that break the mold and offer something fresh. I Wani Hug that Gator does just that. This isn't your typical story-driven experience. It's a visual novel that really emphasizes choices and their outcomes. While wrapping it in a story that's both quirky and relatable. Imagine this: you're Inco, stepping into your senior year, ready to take on whatever comes your way. But life throws a curveball - your family is moving across the country. This is where the real journey begins. I Wani Hug that Gator is a tale of new beginnings, a chance to rebuild from scratch. You might relate to this, having faced similar situations where you had to adapt and find your footing in new environments. The core of this experience lies in how you navigate Inco's social life. This is also where the game truly shines. You're not just passing time at school; you're making decisions that shape Inco's relationships and future. And let's talk about Olivia – she's a character that adds a whole new dynamic to Inco's life. Their interactions are like a dance, sometimes harmonious, sometimes stepping on each other's toes. Since it's this complexity that adds depth to the narrative.
I Wani Hug that Gator - Release Date Trailer
youtube
But here's the kicker – your choices don't just affect the storyline; they lead to one of four unique endings. It's also a reminder that in life, like in this story, our choices have real weight and outcomes. I Wani Hug that Gator about understanding and accepting who you are, and the power of second chances. Now, a heads-up: there's mature content in the title. We're talking about implicit references to drug use and some accidental violence. It's handled with care, but it's something to be aware of if you're sensitive to these themes. There is a Free Demo for Linux, should you want to try before you buy. Overall, I Wani Hug that Gator choice-driven narrative is a breath of fresh air. It's a blend of humor, drama, and real-life challenges, offering a story that's as engaging as it is thought provoking. It's not just about playing through a story; it's about shaping it with your decisions, making it a deeply personal experience. Available on Steam and itch for Linux, Mac, and Windows PC. Priced at $14.99 USD / £12.79 / 14,79€.

There's a Wani Hug That Gator clip on my Twitter feed and every single QRT is talking about how good it is and how it's so much fun and better than Goodbye Volcano High in every way.
All this despite the devs being some of the most 4Chan 4Channers ever, wildly transphobic and not open to any criticism.
I don't care how bad GVH is, the fact that nobody either knows or cares about how shitty the Gator/Snoot Game devs are is giving me a headache.
EDIT: It's worse than I fucking thought. Twitter is loaded with Snoot defenders, and there's enough of them to score perfect ratios on anyone who knocks the game or Cavemanon. Not sure if this is a consequence of Twitter transforming into another 4Chan or if everyone is just that allured by anthro reptiles. Anyway we have a handful of new additions to my blocked list tonight.

Wait you actually like GVH? It looked so boring and soulless when I watched it. At least Cavemanon’s livestream of it was more entertaining.
We can't all have my impeccable taste, I suppose

Well... i finished both snootgame and volcano high, i needed to talk a bit about them
First of all: I LOVE THESE CHARACTERS SOO MUCH, FANG I LOVE YOU I HOPE TO YOUR HAPINNESS
2:. . .jeez, it's so difficult talk about both games without making parallels or comparing them
SG is a very simpler visual novel with a... very questionable reason to exist to begin with, but even with that it surprises you with a very beutiful story of self development and young love in the modern times. The multiples endings all of them are EMOTIONAL DESTROYERS, even the obvious joke-shouting-super edgy ending 1, but just 'cause all the care and love you have for the characters, you feel it in a more deeply way and you suffer watching them like this, giving you strenght to do the best ending possible and. . .oof, that destroys you too, but in a different way
I love Fang an Anon soo much, i wish them nothing but hapinnes
And talking about the elephant in the room? Well... i don't think snoot game is anti-LGBT propaganda
"B-but it's about fang doing destransicion"
That's the take talking about SG in GVH wiki and i'm not with that
Yes, anon is openly an ashole about lgbt themes and always talked shit about it
And the game treat the whole fang(they/them) with humor. . .both of those things happens between the first hour and the bad ending
As the game progress and anon makes the RIGHT choises you can see him at least try to comprenhend the pronouns thing, and perhaps he makes mistakes about it,but he get that is something important to fang
And yes, there's an ending where fang simply leaves behind all that identity and becomes a generic femenine wife? That's not the true ending
The true ending actually respect that side of fang, with her still liking that style, style being like that, still being fang, the only thing she doesn't keep is the pronouns
To me at least, fang's story isn't just about being no-binary. But being a young person trying multipples sides of their persona and life to try and found itself, with the help of the ones who cares about them to grow as a person
Fang could be a She,a he or them, and i would be perfectly fine with any of those
But if at the end she found herself more happy in this new version. What's the problem? If precisely that's the goal with this theme right?
BUT.... snootgame have a very heavy sin to carry and is. . .it's a 4chan game, and is a parody made to make fun about an openly pro-LGBT+ game
Even with how good the story is, with how NG never attacks directly the community and the movement, it's very hard to believe there's no bit of bath fait in the people behind
We still have all this early shit-talking about this theme after all
But having all in mind. . .i just can't hate snootgame, with it short experience it turned those characters in a very big part of my life (at least for this month lol), and the story touched me in various levels 'cause personal reasons (let's just say i had a "trish" in my life)
And well. . .thank you cavemanon for this very beutiful experience, i'm hoping your next project can shine your talent even more without so much controversy around it
And talking about conteoversy....
*sigh*
Goodbye volcano high. . .with you i have less things to say but still they're important i think
First of all: its FUCKING UNFAIR what happened to this game. An openly pro-LGBT+ visual novel with "tumblr aesthetic" being the first fucking thing they show about the fucking ps5??
What the fuck
It was throwed to one of the most savage and closed-minded fandoms in all the internet: """hardcore gamers"""
And just when they're waiting to some assasins creed, GOW or any other super big HD IP with muscles in the muscles of the characters
I can't think about this choise as nothing but an homicide, forgive for the comparation but. . .this shit was taking your 8yo cousin of color to a place you KNOW is full of neo-nazis with guns and criminal precedents. You know what you're doing or you are extremely stupid
And then internet folks started all this controversy and harassement and hate to the game and the studio by a lot of sides and themes and. . .i feel so sorry for the studio and the people working in volcano high, as a snootgame fan i'm truly sorry for what you passed trought, im hope with all my heart this doesn't make you to give up this style of game, and i'll be waiting to see your next project with heart ^^
And now talking about the game. . .fuck
Fuck fuck fuck
I'm sorry,i know what i said but. . .volcano high is broken by so much sides
I really wanted to enjoy it, i really wanted to love this version of the characters and the story but. . .fuck, i can't
Almost all the characters are soo flat (personality i mean)
All and everyone of them talk about ona (1) thing that they like and never shut up about it, you can be talking about anything else and- OH here's comes trish to talk about her worm. . .again, or sage and their cooking, or fang and their band. . .i get it, they're character traits and you need to use them but... i don't know these people, i don't know at all these characters at all.
In the first hald of the game you need to at least try to tell me something about them, their relationships, their past and problems, give me a reason to give 2 and a half shit about them... and they try, but everytime they talk and seems to be about to give some context they start to just talk about that one and only thing they like, leaving me with nothing to work with
And that's the problem of volcano high in general to me. Is obvious there's a story, there's a background to these characters and there's real context to almost every conversation they have. . .but we don't know it, we can't see it, we don't KNOW these people and is frustrating. After the 2 hours i just shuted down my brain and every time this happend i just go "oh yeah, some cute experience we don't know about them)
The two musical montages (there's 2 right?) With photos of the group living their lives and interacting with each other. . .they're very cute and seems to be fun, but we don't live any of this. Fuck sake i WANTED TO BE SAD in the ending, i wanted to feel the characters and their lives sliping away at the end
Tumblr media
See al these beutiful and impactful moments? Well. . .i'd love to see them, to live them with them
But we don't. They're just a bunch of PNGs passing by at the end as the music continues. And that upset me a lot...
And what upset's me the most. . .you know why i care so much about the characters? Why i need to know their lives and feel something in this story?
BECAUSE OF FUCKING SNOOT GAME
They made me to care about fang and the gang, abour nazer, about naomi, about stella and rosa, i cared about this characters soo much that. . .i feel attatched to the GVH ones too. Even if volcano high do close to nothing to make me care for them at this level
It's to sad and so unfair, volcano high obviously was made with a lot of heart and they OBVIOUSLY cares about the characters a lot more than almost anyone in both fandoms, just the "memories" from above show it. But with the game story and characters as they are right now. . .i don't want to compare them so much, but honestly without NG being so important i wouldn't finished volcano high
And about the story itself? Well... is very rushed to say at least
As i said earlier they spent too much time trying to made us meet the characters (but without letting us know them)
To sudenly introduce the meteorite plot and. . .it feels zero important. Yeah it drives the characters to the harsh decisions they're making and how they interact with each other, but for half the game the meteorite is just there in the background and just mentioned over here and there as a reminder. Just to sudenly be the most important thing in the world at the last hour and half of the game.
Before that all the plot is about fang, the band and the battle of the bands (wich i hardly care about at this point)
But. . .fang and the band? Here they made it a very good work
Yeah, fang talk almost exclusively about the band as is their (1) personality trait, but still they manage to make me feel and understand how important is this to them, and. . .wow, i really felt how fang was feeling reed and specially trish leaving them behind and not taking the band seriously (and still having fang at the edge with promises of being a team but without helping them AT ALL)
I mean, there's no problem with reed and trish don't seeing the band as something more than some fun friends time after school and wanting to make something else for their life. The problem is they seeing fang talking 24/7 aboud the band their future together and openly taking life decisions about it and never saying "hey pal, i think you should focus more in a solos career, we don't want to live with the music but we're still friends" or something like that. . .and they do
Trish says this to fang. . .in the battle night, just in the most important night in fang's life, just to say that she's leaving the band in this very important moment and taking choises she never discussed with fang (as fang did talk with trish about theirs)
And the story insist on pointing out fang as the bad person here, who makes all the bad choises and burn all the bridges with everyone. . .but they doesn't
Even at the end with everyone crying and yelling each other, is fang who talk to everyone and says they're a horrible person and you can blame everything on fang because. . .reasons? Idk because with all the choises and talking options we taked at this point, we clearly made fang a very patient and caring person, but still there's one and only way the story was made and was with fang being constantly a bitch with everyone, so it doesn't matter if you take the bad or good options to talk about 6 hours, the dialogues are all about the bad ones almost constantly. And that's fucked and unfair for my dude fang the pterodolphin, i love them so much
But. . .not everything is bad with volcano high
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The background arts are beautiful and very colorful, a lot of cute dettails and i love them
The characters? Well. . .it's weird, i love them a lot and they're very unique, in the special images and animations they look soo good
But in the normal gameplay...
Tumblr media
They look kinda derpy all the time, and the few animations they constantly use for everything get repetitive after a short while (take a shot everytime trish does the eyebrow rise grin animation, tell me how you died)
((Btw perrito tacita epic cameo))
The art style in general of the game is very cute and i love it, but for the in-game animations they needed some more time to make them. . .feel alive and les akward
And the music?
Hell yeah this is good shit, i love fang's voice and definitely i'm gonna check more of their music soon
In conclusion...
I can see where all of this came from, if that leaked script is real it just makes soo much sence about how the final product ended,i can see every original plot being planted as seeds in the final game but never having the chance to grow or even blossom, just a little sapling in the dirt, and that make me so sad. . .
Even with all of that, they managed to launch the game, and leaving out all the controversy i think the game got very descent sales and everything was kinda worth, i really hope they don't give up again with this type of story
But Ko_On and cavemanon are full of talented people and they deserve a chance to grow and shine by themselves
Both without being a perhaps-bad-faith parody, or without so massive backlash from the wrong people who's not are even interested in the quality but the politics in the games
I don't make this kinde or post so often, but i had to speak my mind about something so important to me
Thank you very much if you readed it 'til here and sorry for the mess,i was typing things as they apeared in my mind lmao
Check it out my art, i just recently made this piece of fang and i really loved the result ^^

Here's a document about indie game studio Cavemanon, and the troubles occurring within the development of their games (Snoot Game and I Wani Hug That Gator) and their communities. Bigotry, not paying devs, infighting, and so on.
Please read and reshare if you can.
Feel like it's crucial I share this considering my involvement as a fan in the games, and I'm fucking tired of seeing team leads fuck over their developers and be assholes to the same community supporting them.
Treat folks with respect, actually pay them for their work, and be a better person.
Last thing I want to mention is that this was a collaborative documenting process that goes back many months, put together by an independent team.
I personally just wanna do my part to help share this on their behalf, since it would feel irresponsible not to considering my own fan contributions.

Regarding Wani
Yesterday, a new trailer for Cavemanon’s upcoming Snoot Game spiritual successor, I Wani Hug That Gator!, was released. The game finally has a release date of February 14th, just a week away, Valentine’s Day.
In the aftermath, a thread popped up on 4chan featuring alleged developers leveling accusations about working conditions of Cavemanon and the behavior of Nerd, the Mormon founder of the group who spearheaded Snoot Game’s creation. These accusations have included people not being financially compensated for years of work, or only being given a pittance if anything at all; Nerd manipulating drama behind the scenes to drive select people out of the project; large, unprecedented changes to the game’s story that lead to the multiple delays; and Nerd planning to pocket all of the game’s profits for Exit 665, his YIIK-inspired pet project.
Here's the thing. I’ve known about a lot of these accusations for the past few months. After I was doxed over talking about my problems with Snoot Game’s transphobic messages, I’ve had people start to reach out to me with dirt on Cavemanon’s working conditions. But everything I’ve been told was done so in confidence. It’s nearly impossible to levy accusations towards someone who’s caused harm if you’re not willing to put a name to the words, because then you look like you just made it up. But I can also understand devs not wanting to speak out and put their name to this project, considering the vitriolic nature of the fandom.
I’m a person who believes in workers’ rights and fair compensation. One of the many reasons I championed KO_OP (a worker cooperative!) and Goodbye Volcano High was their dedication to living the ideals they espouse; they have four-day workweeks, Goodbye Volcano High was fully union voice acted, and the devs constantly push for the game industry to embrace unionization. For me, having a belief in the same ideals, it would be hypocritical of me to have a “serves you right” attitude towards what’s happening with Cavemanon.
So: If you worked for Cavemanon and you’re willing to speak out about the working conditions and compensation, and you’re willing to put your name to your words, please reach out to me. I want to put together fully detailed documentation of everything that’s gone down with this project, so something like this doesn’t happen again. I don’t know any of the legal ramifications of anything I’ve read – it feels illegal to me, although I’m not a lawyer – but I want anyone who feels like they were screwed over to know that there’s someone in their corner.

Do you know if the developers that got screwed over IWHTG were compensated since the document came out? I keep coming across fans of its creator acting as if nothing happened, trying to shove the game down people's throats whenever GVH is mentioned by someone that hasn't blocked them.
Short answer: No, probably not.
Long answer: Cavemanon released a response claiming they had done nothing wrong and that everyone who refused payment had done so voluntarily. They ignored the parts of the doc that discussed how getting compensation for their work required 1) signing a NDA contract, and 2) doxing themselves for a crazy transphobic Mormon 4channer in Texas. That was a risk people were understandably not willing to take. Not to mention Nerd and co. told the younger, less experienced devs it would be "greedy" of them to ask for payment on a passion project... one that he stood to make a lot of money from.
The response also stated that half the funds for Wani are going to the heads of the studio while the rest is being set aside for their next project. And without any proof they're even working on that next title, Exit 665, basically that means Nerd and the rest are hoarding all the game's profits until proven otherwise. For reference, Gamalytic estimates that Wani has sold 20k copies at time of writing, which means Cavemanon has made about $300k from it, while the people who made the game were given maybe $100 for over two years of work, if they were lucky.
In the time since the document's release and the official response, Nerd and his friends have successfully convinced their fandom that the dox was a hoax written by me to defame them, completely leaving out that it was put together by their own former devs and all I did was share it.

So, the same people who made the 4chan Goodbye Volcano High parody game are working on a remake/spirital sucessor to it with fully original, legally distinct characters and plot elements. I'm bringing this up to you because supposedly, a prolific GVH fan artist was going to work on the game but got kicked off the dev team after they found out he was gay. The game's protagonist, a paraplegic alligator meant to serve in the same role as Fang, also go redesigned twice because people kept calling her fat. It's just kind of ironic that somehow this tangentially GVH-related game has an even more chaoic development history than GVH itself.
I've heard of I Wani Hug that Gator! but I haven't looked into its development just yet, only that I heard whispers that the dev team was trying to rush it out before GVH releases. But looking up the game's story and characters, it really does look like a retread of Snoot Game but Legally Distinct™ so they can sell it this time instead of relying on crypto donations.
But I'm not surprised to hear any of that. The leader of Cavemanon Studios is purportedly a Mormon, which is why the Snoot fandom barely draws any porn of the characters, just "wholesome" art or reinterpretations of the game's endings.
The reasons for GVH being delayed - letting go of their lead writer and redoing the story, a global pandemic, avoiding crunch, and dealing with an ongoing harassment campaign that has not stopped since 2020 - are at least reasonable explanations, and KO_OP devs have said it's now "content complete" and on the final stretch of development. Wani's development seems like a bunch of infighting and weird internet guys shooting themselves in the foot.
I'd say I wish the Cavemanon team well, hope they mature and fix their hearts, but you'd have an easier time convincing Elon Musk to stay off Twitter. They made their bed in 4chan, and now they lie in it, whatever that entails for when they want to go "legit".

It's really interesting how Snoot Game fans who don't like Wani admit that they got on board with the idea of Snoot Game because they thought Fang's attractive but doesn't think the same for Olivia because she's disabled. They were able to look past Fang's queerness but weren't able to look past Olivia's disability. I think there's something interesting to be observed here. While these people are probably as ableist as they are queerphobic, they're able to put their biases on hold for one situation but not the other. Why do you think this is? Could it be because they think being trans can be fixed but being paralyzed from the waist down can't?
You're absolutely right on the money with that last sentence.
But "they were able to look past Fang's queerness" is a misunderstanding. They couldn't look past Fang's queerness. That's the whole conceit that Snoot Game is built upon. In their perspective, trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming people are either confused, victims of grooming/peer pressure, or just attention-seekers. Overall, they see queerness as a mask to cover an empty void where someone's personality should be. That's the lesson the Snoot writers took from the /lit/ critique.
There's no point in Snoot where Fang's pronouns (they/them) are given genuine respect by the game's narration. There's a very telling moment when Anon looks at Fang's clothing and thinks to himself:
Fang claims to not be male or female, but the clothes she's wearing are clearly provocative. Why would someone be wearing revealing clothes in contradiction to their identity…?
The whole reason these fans got on board with Snoot is because, like the greentext it's based on, they see it as a way to "fix" a conventionally attractive queer character into being cishet. And to reinforce the things they already believe, Fang is given a whole new backstory and deadname to justify the detransition angle.
By contrast, Olivia in Wani has a very glaringly obvious physical handicap. She's in a wheelchair. She can't walk. She can't be "cured" like they believe Fang could be. They instinctively see her not as a person with inner thoughts or complexities, but as "damaged goods". So all the other points about her appearance are ripe for mocking, which is why the developers had to dial things back and retool her design. It's also why Olivia gets that very obvious swimsuit titty shot in the demo; it's to signal to the audience that Olivia is conventionally attractive and desirable. You're not getting an interesting romantic partner who's disabled, you're getting "big titty alligator GF".
Queerphobia and ableism, natch. These are 4chan products after all.

Why haven't you denounced I Wani Hug That Gator yet
First off, I had a carpet denouncement of Cavemanon overall, I've said I would never support them, so that should've gone without saying.
Second, as far as I've seen so far, Wani doesn't have some kind of spiteful angle that the previous game had, so there's nothing about what's in the game that can be denounced -- at least not yet.
Third, I do have some criticisms of Wani that I mentioned in the past, but I guess I should reiterate here:
As far as its story goes, it seems too much like a rehash of the previous game, just with a new school and legally distinct characters.
The use of AI-filter backgrounds looks extremely tacky. They could get away with it in SG since it was a free game, but if Wani is to be a game people pay for, they gotta step up their game. They seem to be able to make backgrounds just fine, so I don't know why they use such a cheap and nasty shortcut.
I've heard lots of rumors from a variety of sources that development of the game has been dreadful for everyone beneath Nerd (the head of Cavemanon). I can't verify anything so I won't repeat what I've heard, but seeing that they just fired a musician for plagiarizing music, I don't have a lot of confidence that things are going smoothly behind-the-scenes.
In addition to the above: their Twitter suggested that they were planning to get it out before Goodbye Volcano High's August 29th release date. They failed to meet that goal, and instead did a stream where they mocked GVH. Because they thought it was more important to do that than to work on their game, I guess.
They can't run on spiteful hate towards KO_OP and GVH forever. At some point, they need to mature and take game dev seriously. Are you guys making a game because it's something you like doing, or are you continuing chasing the high of trying to one-up your opponent in a one-sided conflict?

Am I looking too much into it or is Snoot Game's central theme of getting over yourself and understanding that nobody gives a shit about your problems some sort of jab at leftism and gay pride in of itself?
YES. EXACTLY RIGHT. YOU GET IT.
I've discussed the game's other problems in length, but the central message that drives the narrative direction is identical to a South Park episode. "Nobody gives it a shit. Nobody cares. Shut up and fall in line. Be normal."
In leftist circles and especially queer pride, care and unity are so important. Being able to hear out, understand, and fight for other people is what makes us strong. It's not about whining until you get your way, it's being able to recognize when systems are causing harm, because harming one of us leaves wiggle room to harm all of us (see irl: trans hate and panic eventually leading to abolition of abortion rights).
Right-wing media cannot recognize this because of their hyper-individualism mindset, so they characterize people like me - people who wear their pride colors openly - as attention-seeking freaks unable to feel validated without outside confirmation, instead of the actual reasons (so I can show other trans people that they're not alone, they have a safe person they can communicate with, someone that knows what they're going through).
This is why Snoot Game's Fang blows a massive fit in the middle of class when Anon accidentally misgenders them. It's portrayed as Fang seeking attention that they'll ultimately never get. That's how the Cavemanon team sees queer people. Meanwhile, Goodbye Volcano High's Fang is deadnamed by their mom in the first chapter, and all they do in response is crumple the sticky note and move on.
Goodbye Volcano High's story invites the viewer to ask themselves what kind of person they would choose to be towards their friends and family under the worst possible circumstances. Snoot Game tells the viewer to fall in line and be "normal".

Genuinely befuddling how you want nothing to do with Snoot Game or its community, yet continue to engage with it and said community
I did, in fact, try to drop out of discussing Snoot for a while, after I got doxed. I was fine with them fucking off and doing their own thing, so long as they left me and other GVH fans alone. By talking so much about my problems with Snoot, I had painted a massive target on my back for the internet's most unsavory people to attack me, and I didn't want that anymore.
Next thing I knew, I'm swallowed into this big exposé about how Cavemanon have hurt LGBT people in their own community and screwed over the people working on their next big game they stood to make a lot of money from. And I feel as though it would've been hypocritical of me to look away from two issues I care deeply about just because the victims were part of a fandom I was against. So I guess I've put myself back in the line of fire.
