I find it funny that frenry is such a cat-owning couple despite there being no canon evidence towards that literally just vibes and because it makes a nice contrast to sodashipping, which is the most dog-owning couple to exist (TOMMY LITERALLY HAS AN IMMORTAL DOG!!!)
And then you start shipping them in a giant polycule and there is c o n f l i c t about pets; Darnold calmly reminds Gordon and Benrey that the four of them already own a dog and that owning a cat wouldn't be the best idea to which Benrey and Tommy (not Gordon because he is a tired man and just chilling with Joshua who the polycule is also raising together) remind Darnold that Sunkist is the perfect dog and wouldn't do anything bad to a cat. They eventually get the cat and everything is great. The cat is named after a video game character because I said so.
Meanwhile Boomer (or Goomby) is definitely a ship that owns snakes, I'm not elaborating.
