First cosplay I've made in just under 3 years since Covid hit and all the cons stopped / finances took a major hit. This I made from what I mostly had in my stash, apart from the trims, underskirt fabric and the pendant.

Based on the description of Yennefer from the books, I stuck to the black & white colour palette and made a unique pendant.

Shown here with 2 different belts for choice. This can also be worn with trousers and long boots underneath too!

I just finished The Last Wish story last night (got 10 more pages of the book left) and OMG!!! It was amazing and I can’t wait to see it done in the show

And as someone who was only familiar with game Yennefer as I was reading book Yennefer she is quite different and just from the one story my first impressions of her are totally different than the game. Can’t wait to read more of her!

Yennefer’s anger in the Witcher is something that is… very refreshing. Cathartic to see. Women “aren’t supposed” to be angry. We’re told it’s unfeminine. It’s “ugly”. But Yennefer is so full of anger - about the way she’s been treated, the choices taken away from her - and she’s allowed to express it. She’s allowed to feel that rage. Of course it has its flaws and ups and downs and it’s something for her to work through but… I personally think it’s fascinating exploring this aspect of Yen that is not so touched on in the books
