My Demon: he need to hold her wrist to use his power since his tattoo (the source of his power) is now on her wrist. Ergo, if he doesn't hold her wrist, he cannot access his demon power.

So, these 2 dramas have similar vibes, but different mechanism on how this holding hand/wrist works. And believe me, I ache for BOTH.

On average once a month someone will step into a fishing hook or anchor lying on the ground and it has to get taken out at the hospital, because they have barbs on the edges. I love doom at your service so much😭 I'm rewatching it and I think I'll post think pieces on it after each episode.

I've seen so many reviews about people not enjoying the second half of this show and how a stellar cast was wasted on bad writing but for me, this show works even though I agree that the writing really was lacking in places.

It's funny how sometimes the things we like best are not the things that are perfect, but the ones that are flawed and imperfect and slightly inadequate.

It's so hard to define what brings us joy and comfort and what we find irresistible sometimes.

It's like, why do I adore this show even though there are so many shows out there that are so much better? Why do I think so often of these characters in particular? Why do I keep coming back here?

One of my favorite aspects about DAYS is Seo In Guk as Myul Mang. His character is the bedrock of this show from which everything else springs. I love his cynicism, his pessimism, his pain, his intolerance, his indifference, his quiet, simmering anger, his inability to outgrow his annoyance at the world. I love his audacity, his attitude and his insistent desire to destroy everything. I love that he doesn't hold back and that he doesn't try to be other than what he is. I love how the world slowly enraptures him, how it quietly grasps him into its folds, and doesn't let go. I love how he slowly discovers the world.

Myul Mang's entire existence is in nothingness, and then he is slowly brought into life. It is the opposite of what humans experience, for him it is actually life after death.

Myul Mang is hands down my favourite thing about DAYS.

The only thing I wish for was I wish we could have gotten more of his backstory. I wish he had been given a tangible past, a story that would have made the audience aware of where he was coming from, and thus would have made his motivations clearer, so that we know where he is heading.

Myul Mang lived, after death. He lived. That is all that matters.

yesterday before i fell asleep i had an idea to become a director and create biographical movies, where everything goes as you could imagine, pretty down to earth, the twist is, at the end of each movie, unannounced the main character kisses their best friend of the same gender. And it would only work for historical figures that were actually gay or are suspected of being queer. So, in 10 years, I'll make a whole 3 hour long comedic biography on Juliusz Słowacki, where he spends his time in France having a beef with Mickiewicz and stuff, they have an epic rap poetic battle, people would come to the cinema with posters "Team Słowacki", "Team Mickiewicz", "Team Słowackiewicz", every polish person would come to watch it because they would feel obligated to do that, giving me money in consequence, everything goes as you could imagine, but in the very last 5 minutes Słowacki kisses Krasiński on the mouth. And no another character reacts to that, just to leave people watching thinking how to react to that. Old conservative people would think "I guess they were good friends and that's how people showed affection towards friends over 100 years ago." but people on Twitter would be like "It's a HISTORICAL fact that Słowacki and Krasicki FUCKED at least ONCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THREAD!!!!!!!" and it's like 26 tweets of them letter sexting or something.
