Bee honeycombs are in a hexagonal pattern. Surely there are shapes that are easier for bees top make, so why are they so insistent on them being hexagonal shaped? Well, the answer is in that video ;)

Fun Facts About Bee Stingers
1. Not all bees can sting (say what?)
Males bees (drones) can not sting. And something important to remember is that bees are not out to get you. They won't sting you unless you provoke them.
Bumblebees and solitary bees are generally very nice and very rarely will sting.
There are also bees that are stingless bees and actually can't sting you :)
2. Bee stings and wasp stings are different! You can be allergic to one, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you are also allergic to wasp stings. The same goes the other way :)
3. Only female bees have stinger, however...
4. ...Not all female bees can sting (only about 75% of them can)
5. A few species of wasps do have barbed stingers, however among bees, honeybees are the only ones.
6. Bees without barbed stingers can sting multiple times without dying.
7. Honeybees die after stinging because a portion of their internal organs are ripped out however, they can live up to a few hours or even days after singing before dying.
So bees are pretty cool, even if they sting, which can hurt and sucks for us. On the other hand though, bees are very important and we will not be able to survive without them.
