Batmun's new schedule!

Starting next week!

Hey guys! I'll start to follow a schedule to work more on my ask blogs- college doesn't help me much to stay focused on all of them but I think this could help me a lot:

Mondays and Tuesdays: I'll be around my main blog @dreamingbuttons and also work on the drawings I must do for my blogs.

Wednesdays: I'll be on my SRMTHFG blogs @hopesofgold and @firestarwarrior

Thursdays: I'll be on my Klonoa slash blog @askgunoa

Fridays: I'll be on my Bendy AU blog @inkparry

Saturdays: I'll be on my (MSA) Arthur AU blog @aparalyzedheart

Sundays: I'll use Sunday to catch up on any days I didn’t get to upload!

Something about bats just made people go buckwild. "Barbastelle." "Pipistrelle." "Noctule."

Completely insane names.

Highest Key , more people should be crazy about bats. We'd have better urban lighting ( Meaning less light pollution ) Better Parks and environments ( meaning more robust Biodiversity and less Pest issues ) Better farms ( Less chemical upkeep needed because bats fertilize and pest control all at once ) Like literally if more people were crazy for bats the world as an entirety would improve drastically.

Sure thing! Bat houses can sometimes take Years before they're settled in . As bats are sentimental AND Prefer locations that are already established to be safe They must be : - Within good range of both Plant Life ( for bugs) And water Sources ( for sips) - Generally East-Facing ( Catches the morning sun for warmth, avoids the Scorching afternoon Light ) - Multi-chambered and small chambered ( Prevents snakes and larger predators from getting in )

Oh, and be made out of wood that's not heavily saturated with chemicals.

Hm.. I don't know what Constitutes " Rare " But! Vampire bats are smarter and more social than other bats This may be because their hunting requires more thinking and caution than with other bats, as they are right next to something often several Thousand times their own body weight trying to snack. yes, Several /thousand/ Vampire bat : up to 50 grams. Bull : up to and sometimes past 1000 KiloGrams. Like their food sources are absolutely insanely massive compared to them.

fun facts about bat hibernation?

Well For starters It's Called Torpor , Which involves all the hallmarks of Hibernation ( Lower heart rate, etc. etc. ) Not all bats Hibernate! Some don't need to due to location and Weather, Some Just fly a bit further south in their range, etc. The Ussurian Tube-nosed bat In Asia is known to sleep in the snow itself ! Which makes it 1 of 2 mammalian species to hibernate in direct contact with the snow. The other being polar Bears.
