Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia Special Title Draw Banners Gems Pulls Results Part 2
The Special Title Draw banners just showed up in the Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia (DFFOO) mobile game.
Sadly, the reason why these banners showed up is because DFFOO just announced that it will discontinue or end its service on February 29, 2024.
That announcement came as a shock. Really wish that wasn’t true. Wish the game wasn’t ending at all.
I talk more about that in another post. In this post, will talk about the results of my gem pulls on the Special Title Draw banners.
This is actually a continuation of another post. Had to split the posts since the 1st one or part 1 already reached the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Special Title Draw Banners Information
There are a total of 7 Special Title Draw banners. All the weapons that have been released up through November 21, 2023 will be available in these banners.
Special Title Draw Banner 1 features all the weapons of chars from Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy XV, and Final Fantasy Type-0.
Special Title Draw Banner 2 features all the weapons of chars from Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy VII.
Special Title Draw Banner 3 features all the weapons of chars from Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy VIII, and Final Fantasy X.
Special Title Draw Banner 4 features all the weapons of chars from Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy XIV, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles.
Special Title Draw Banner 5 features all the weapons of chars from Final Fantasy V, Final Fantasy XIII, and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin.
Special Title Draw Banner 6 features all the weapons of chars from Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy XI, and Final Fantasy Tactics.
Special Title Draw Banner 7 features all the weapons of chars from Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy XII, and World of Final Fantasy (#ad).
Special Title Draw Banners Gems Pulls Results
Here are the results of my gem pulls on the Special Title Draw banners. Have a million+ gems, and a lot of my pulls just give me the usual bronze and silver trash and gold dupe/s.
As such, decided to only take a screenshot if I get a Force (FR) weapon and/or a Burst (BT) weapon regardless of if it’s new or a dupe. Will also take a screenshot if I actually get something new or something I haven’t fully max limit broken yet even if it isn’t a FR and/or BT.
Will also take screenshots if I get an interesting enough draw like if an unusually high number of golds shows up or something.
A force orb gave me a dupe of Lann & Reynn’s (from World of Final Fantasy) FR.
My 1st copy of this hasn't been limit broken at all.
A Burst orb didn't show up so was pleasantly surprised when this pull gave me my very 1st copy of Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca's (from Final Fantasy XII) BT.
This draw also gave me dupes of Enna Kros's (from World of Final Fantasy) Ex and Gabranth's (Noah fon Ronsenburg from Final Fantasy XII) 35cp.
Got another dupe of Lann & Reynn's FR.
Got dupes of Cid Raines's (from Final Fantasy XIII) FR and Sazh Katzroy's (from Final Fantasy XIII) 35cp.
Got my 1st copy of Faris Scherwiz’s (Sarisa Scherwil Tycoon from Final Fantasy V) FR from a force orb.
This pull also gave me a dupe of Noel Kreiss's (from Final Fantasy XIII) Ex.
Got dupes of Kuja's (from Final Fantasy IX) LD, Garnet Til Alexandros XVII's (from Final Fantasy IX) FR, and Basch fon Ronsenburg's (from Final Fantasy XII) Ex.
Got a dupe of Enna Kros's FR.
Got a dupe of Noel's BT.
Got dupes of Exdeath's (from Final Fantasy V) Ex as well as a 15cp dupe.
My 1st copy of Exdeath's Ex hasn't been limit broken yet.
A force orb gave me a 15cp dupe as well as a dupe of Penelo's (from Final Fantasy XII) FR.
Got a 15cp dupe as well as dupes of Galuf Halm Baldesion's (from Final Fantasy V) 35cp, Neon’s (from Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin) 35cp, and Jihl Nabaat's (from Final Fantasy XIII) 35cp.
My 1st copy of Nabaat's 35cp has been limit broken once.
A force orb gave me my 1st copy of Reks's (from Final Fantasy XII) FR.
This pull also gave me a 15cp dupe as well as dupes of Enna Kros's Ex and Eiko Carol's (from Final Fantasy IX) Ex.
Got a dupe of Edward Chris von Muir's (from Final Fantasy IV) Ex.
My 1st copy of this has been limit broken twice so this dupe will finally let me fully MLB this weapon.
A force orb gave me dupes of Reks's Ex, Quina Quen's (from Final Fantasy IX) FR, Lann & Reynn's 15cp, and Vivi Ornitier's (from Final Fantasy IX) Ex.
My 1st copy of Reks's Ex hasn't been limit broken at all.
Got dupes of Cid Raines's FR and Dorgann Klauser's (from Final Fantasy V) Ex.
And that’s it. For this post, at least. There’s a lot more but gonna have to talk about the results of the rest of my Special Title Draw banners gem pulls in another post since already reached the max limit of 30 pics in this one.

Greatest Almost (Ashe/Basch - Final Fantasy XII)
(( fifth and final treat fic for the multifandom drabble exchange! topped it off with some smutty post-canon Ashe/Basch goodness ))
The Bahamut fell and Rabanastre was safe. That alone should have eased Ashe’s anxiety, yet she paced the palace’s halls and balled her hands into fists. For everything she was willing to sacrifice to protect her kingdom, nothing prepared her for what transpired upon fleeing the Bahamut.
And now she had no need to travel with sky pirates or orphans; the throne was empty and awaited her return. How long would it be until the general public discovered she was alive? How long after then would her coronation take place?
How long until her journey was forgotten, just like her companions?
Vaan and Penelo returned to the streets. Ashe liked to think Fran and Balthier were still alive somehow, despite the atrocious crash landing. As for Basch? He stayed in the palace. At least temporarily. Because Larsa was present. Because his brother—not Gabranth, but Noah—needed a proper send-off. Because there never was a home for him to return to.
When will he leave, too? she wondered.
She recalled the lingering animosity when they had first reunited, back on the Dreadnought Leviathan. Only in hindsight did she realize it was never between them, but entirely within herself. How she struck him down, how she spat poison at him. And the softness in his eyes… it never changed. Not then, not aboard the Strahl en route to Rabanastre.
It was in the gentle touch of his hand on her shoulder.
Ashe almost laughed at herself. Of course she was blind to his tenderness until the last moment.
When he and Larsa finally emerged from a guest room, they announced their decision to return to Archadia and restore the Empire to its former glory. But it was Basch’s decision, the one to assume Noah’s guise as Judge Magister, which paralyzed Ashe.

Zodiac Age
It’s no secret that i am a massive fan of the Final Fantasy series. Essays abut that franchise riddle this blog. My adoration for their world building and storytelling is profound, even is they kind of devolve into a Star Wars-esque retelling at time. Square sure does love that Hero Journey literary trope. Things like that don’t bug me because there are little unique changes to that specific plot, little dashes of creativity that take the form of setting, characters, or overall plot. It might follow the trope in the sense of character development, but the story told to get there is wholly it’s own. And let me tell you, some of these stories are the best that’s ever been told.
Final Fantasy VII is my favorite of the entire series. Great characters, vivid world, and a plot simple enough to follow but embellished to near mythic levels. Final Fantasy IX is another favorite, though, that one is more a fairy tale than anything. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a goddamn masterpiece and epic in it’s own right, but that story is more than at home with those old Grimm tales we were told as kids. It’s mad endearing that way. Final Fantasy Tactics, spin-off title, is probably the best story, overall, told under the FF banner and it’s not even a main title. The War of Lions is a tale of political intrigue, familial bonds, and devastating betrayal sprinkled with magic and demons and summons and dragons. It’s f*cking incredible and can give Game of Thrones a run for it’s money. I imagine, in time, i’ll revisit these stories and gush about why i love them so but that’s not what this essay is about. No, this essay is about the second best narrative in the entire FF franchise; A narrative that has been written off because people couldn’t get passed the gameplay. This essay is about my fourth favorite Final Fantasy title, Final Fantasy XII
The strongest part of this game is easily the story. It starts with a wedding. A beautiful affair between two nations to solidify a peaceful relation and treaty of prosperity but that bliss would not last. War, a bloody coupe, the death of a prince, and the betrayal of a king. All of this happens in the intro to the game. As you play, you take the perspective of a common street rat. You follow along with his misadventures, exploring the oasis city of Rabanastre withing the annexed kingdom of Dalmasca. During his various excursions, Vaan finds himself entwined with the charismatic sky pirate and main character, Balthier, as well as his longtime Viera companion, Fran. After a heist gone wrong, the group find themselves thrown into the same lot as the presumed dead princess of Dlamasca, Ashelia B'Nargin Dalmasca, and the man framed for murdering her father, Basch Fon Ronsenburg. The party is eventually completed by the final addition of Vaan’s childhood friend, Penelo. What starts as a tale of rebellion and unrest, evolves into something so much more. The dismantling of the current world system, the shattering of chains binding man to malevolent gods, wresting control of human destiny back into human hands, and a destiny laid forth by a visionary painted as a tyrant.
Final Fantasy XII is a grand epic that feels very intimate, very small. You’re never far from the characters or their plight. Indeed, it’s their development and relationships that drive this story. Political intrigue and human destiny aside, the interactions between these individuals are absolutely wonderful. Vaan is a chump but, having played this game several times and looking back on this story with the eyes of an adult who appreciates great storytelling, his blank personality is necessary. He’s the vehicle the audience uses to immerse themselves in this world. He’s our allegory so ll that bland that colors him is simple place holder. an is who we make him. On the other end of that spectrum, you have the “villain” Vayne Carudas Solidor. Vayne is easily one of the best written characters in the entire franchise. His characterization and development can give Delita from Tactics and Ardyn Izunia from XV. Holy sh*t, Ardyn is magnificent. I can write an entire essay on him, alone, but that’s one for later. Maybe. XII is one of the best written of all the FF titles but Vayne, specifically, is written on an entirely different level. There’s never a time when you do not understand his motivation. There is never a time where you do not agree with his logic. There is never a time when you condemn his deeds. They are all necessary for the ultimate goal of human prosperity. Vayne is the antagonist of this story because of circumstance and he understands that better than anyone. He even prepared for that eventuality with his brother, Larsa. Even in defeat, he still wins; A victory for all that cost him everything. F*cking brilliant writing, man. Brilliant.
The world of Final Fantasy XII is absolutely gorgeous. It takes place in Ivalice, the only recurring setting in the FF franchise. It’s a staple, like Chocobos or Moogles. Vagrant Story and the Tactics games all take place here, to varying capacities. I love how meaty the lore and systems are for this universe. The Judge system permeates almost every title taking place here and they are to be heeded. Ranging from consequences of battle to outright characters in the narrative, these judges often have ornate armors and insane strength. Gabranth, the main Judge of XII, serves a rather dubious role throughout this tale. He and his contemporary, Cidolfus Demen Bunansa, the Cid of this game and father of Blathier, work together with Vayne to further his ambitions. Chasing their wake leads our team all over Ivalcie, visiting Ordalia, Valdenia, Kerwon, and Purvma. We follow Fran home to the Salikawood and hunt some powerful monsters in the rolling dunes of the Giza Plains. This world is gorgeously realized with loving passion and gentle renders. It really is a feast for the eyes.
Now, the reason everyone passes on this particular title lies in the fact that the gameplay doesn’t feel like an FF title. In that regard, the discourse is correct. XII does not play like a traditional Final Fantasy title. It skews closer to their MMO titles rather than their offline fair. It can be difficult to learn but is it really so different than what you’re used to? Is it really so alien? XII does a pretty decent job teaching you how to manage your party. Admittedly, yo can’t directly control what everyone does at every second but all titles in this franchise are kind of like this. I can see how that aspect can be disorientating wit the pseudo-action RPG aesthetic. That’s why there are Gambits. These things are little predetermined commands that allow you to program your party while you handle the heavy lifting on wither offense, defense, or support. It’s kind of like the system they use in FFXIII but, you know, good. You still play XII. You still have the ability to control your characters, in a limited capacity. Sure, i would have liked to have more direct command over my party but this workaround is fine once you get used to it. Besides, i think they fixed this in the international Zodiac version or whatever. I haven’t played that one yet but what we have in the vanilla game, the License Board, Tecnicks, Magicks, Quickenings, and Espers, all add a variety that gives you copious amounts of strategy. Building a character strong enough to trust to the Gambit system has it’s own reward.
Final Fantasy XII is an outstanding title that deserves so much more respect than anyone gives it. Your requisite hitters like IX and VII are rightfully mentioned in a much greater capacity but lesser titles like X and VIII have no business holding their position in the fandom zeitgeist in lieu of XII. This game has one of the most epic stories, a brisk plot rarely marred down by melodrama, one of the greatest villains in the entire franchise, and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The world is lush, full of life and vibrancy, hiding a sinister undertone that grips your attention until the very end. If you can manage the learning curve of the battle system, if you give it a chance, you’ll be rewarded with one of the all-time great games in the Final Fantasy pantheon.

Final Fantasy Record Keeper Realm and Elemental Relic Draw Banners Part 4
Every 15 days that players log on to the Final Fantasy Record Keeper (FFRK) mobile game, they get 1 Realm/Elemental x 11 ticket.
These tickets can be used on Realm and Elemental banners for a 10 +1 pull that guarantees at least 1 relic that’s of 5-star or higher rarity. These tickets can also be obtained as special rewards from campaigns and limited events and the like.
Final Fantasy XII Realm Relic Draw Banner
Decided to use the latest Realm/Elemental x11 ticket that I just got on the Final Fantasy XII (#ad) realm banner.
Got 2 disco orbs. Then, to my surprise, Dr. Mog appeared and turned both of them into 7-star items. Was so hyped when that happened.
The first 7-star turned into a sword while the second turned into some light armor.
The sword turned out to be Basch fon Ronsenburg’s Limit Break Overstrike (LBO), Captain’s Oathblade. Meh.
Disappointed since this thing doesn’t do anything except deal damage. Plus, don’t have a single BDL relic for Basch so can’t use him even with this. Wish I could have gotten a Sync or Awakening instead.
The light armor turned out to be Vaan’s True Arcane Soul Break (TASB) or Arcane Dyad Soul Break (ADSB), Apex Pyroclasm.
It’s not a Sync or an Awakening but TASBs are pretty useful. Well, as long as you have at least 1 BDL relic for the char in question anyway.
Thankfully, I do have 1 of Vaan’s Awakenings. I have his physical wind Chain Soul Break too so he’s part of my physical wind team.
Another ticket gave me 2 golds. One was nothing more than a dupe 5-star Legend Materia Relic (LMR) so didn’t even bother taking note of who it belonged to.
The second was actually a 7-star bow. Was so pleased when Dr. Mog appeared but that quickly turned into disappointment when I found out that the 7-star relic I got was nothing more than Fran’s LBO, Dual Mist.
My next ticket gave me 2 new items but I was still horribly disappointed anyway because all I got was a 5-star Glint for a Final Fantasy XII char and Ashelia B'nargin Dalmasca's Glint+ Soul Break.
The next ticket only gave me 1 gold but was still very happy with this pull anyway because I ended up getting Vaan’s other Awakened Arcane Soul Break (AASB), Dreadnought.
Yay! Now my Vaan has 2 BDL relics or 3 if you count the TASB that I just got for him. Here’s to hoping that I can eventually get his Sync as well.
I really hate the results of my next ticket pull. At first, I was so pleased because Dr. Mog actually showed up but he couldn’t even be bothered to give me something new.
Instead, I ended up with a dupe of Basch’s LBO. Ugh. How utterly frustrating and infuriating. Why’d this have to happen? What a waste. Should have used this Realm/Elemental x11 ticket on another banner.

FFXII: incoming Ashe/Basch fanart
After finishing my tasks today I went to draw Basch/Ashe aaand at first I was going to draw something spicy... but then I remembered a tender scene I was drawing of them some time ago and aabksngdgkfngm I’m now continuing with it and smiling like a huge dork while I do it.
You can blame my need for sweet and romantic stuff on the fact that today I watched “Shakespeare in love”.
