Agreste: Jovem morre após colidir motocicleta em caminhão
Na noite desta última quinta-feira (28), por volta das 21h, um jovem de 20 anos morreu após colidir uma moto na traseira de um caminhão na BR 232, em Gravatá, no Agreste de Pernambuco.
De acordo com informações da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF), a moto era emprestada e o rapaz estava realizando manobras perigosas, como conduzir o veículo deitado.

Time for a Heinrich lore dump!
Welp since I built a Lego-not-Lego model of my him I think it’s the best time to talk about my favorite fast boy Heinrich.
Heinrich is/is based on the real life preserved engine DR BR 18 201 or the number it currently wears 02 0201-0 (Which looks god awful on the smoke box imo). Heinrich’s history is basically the same, but enough chit chat it’s time for lore!
And it all starts with the VES Halle (Saale). The facility was located in the GDR (East Germany) and needed an engine to haul newly built express coaches at speeds up to 160 km/h (ca. 100mph) and beyond for testing purposes. A newly constructed Diesel for this task would have been too expensive so it was decided that the new engine was going to be a steam locomotive. For historical context in East Germany steam lasted into the 1980s.
So the project came to life, spearheaded by Dr. Baumberg from the VES. He for example is responsible for the design of streamlining which was inspired by SNCF 232.U.1. Another quirk this engine received was Giesl-Ejector. Which most of you know Peter Sam has too. In 1960 the construction began. The works responsible was the RAW Meiningen which is still operational as the Dampflokwerk Meiningen (they built Tornado’s and are involved in the P2 project). To realize Baumberg’s vision the engineers decided to attempt something. They had heard about Henry’s rebuilt at Crewe years prior. So an engine called Heinrich was brought in together with parts of two other engines and a tender from a forth engine. This original Heinrich was DRG 61 002 one of the two Henschel-Wegmann Tank engines.
They went to work and on the 31st of May 1961 their job was done. But to the shock of everyone involved behind the scenes this new engine woke up only knowing its name: Heinrich. What had gone wrong was that original Heinrich didn’t want to be so heavily altered so he basically perished, only traces of his memory remain. This has consequences for current day Heinrich. He has terrible nightmares which cause him to have bouts of insomnia. And becoming a scaredy-engine when left alone by his crew at night. But regardless this Frankenstein’s monster of an engine was not only successful but also became the fastest, in service steam locomotive in the world. The men at the VES grew fond of their new engine. They dubbed him Jimmo, because they felt like Heinrich sounded too pompous for such a chipper and friendly fella. Heinrich/Jimmo was rarely seen outside of the VES, when he was he could depart 10 minutes late and still arrive on time at his destination. Early on it was decided to give him oil firing and during the oil crisis Baumberg insisted on keeping it or he would need an army of firemen for to get Jimmo going. Because the high speed has its price, after all the three cylinders that power a set of 6 driving wheels with a diameter of 2.30 meters (ca. 7’5”) don’t power themselves. Heinrich after the end of his service life changed owners a few times. Nowadays he’s owned by the WFL and lives at Nossen which is near Dresden.
He’s revered by engines and enthusiasts alike. But he’s rather reluctant to be that famous. He only leverages his authority if an engine acts like an asshat. Heinrich has a strong sense of justice, but also a habit of being very direct. Which often results in him unintentionally trampling over the feelings of others. This brutal honesty is something Henry and Charlie like about him. Heinrich is also helpful and curious about the world. Although his curiosity occasionally results in embarrassing mishaps. Like when he chased a butterfly, demolished a set of buffers and ended up off the rails. Another quirk is that when turned on the turntable he instantly falls asleep. He and Henry become friends almost instantly. Henry helps him overcome his fear of the dark. And also influences him to become a bit more mature. Heinrich is also very respectful towards engines like Flying Scotsman and Saxonia. He even called Henry “sir” when the two green engines first met. Heinrich loves going fast. He gets ecstatic when he travels at high speeds. It’s a child like joy. He’s truly one of Germany’s finest.

PSA for rail fans
When talking about german locomotives, you don’t have to use the “BR”.
German locomotives these days have a six-digit code, the first three digits of which are the “class”, i.e. the specific type of locomotive. For example, class 111 is one type, class 232 is another, class 403 is another and so on. This follows from an earlier system where the number was (usually) two digits, and was either plain for steam locomotives (class 01, class 43) or had either an E for electric locomotives (class E 18, class E 93) or a V for diesel (the V stands for “Verbrennungsmotor”, meaning combustion engine; examples include V 60, V 100, V 200).
(The details of this are actually considerably more complicated than that, because of course they are, but that’s not relevant right now.)
What you find a lot on the web, both in german and non-german sources, is the whole thing prefixed with the letters BR. E.g. someone will talk about a BR 111, or a BR 232, or a BR 01, or sometimes even a BR V 200. You may be wondering, what do these letters stand for? Do I have to use them? Is it more correct?
Well, it’s really a matter of taste. You don’t have to use it, because it contains basically no information. The letters are simply short for “Baureihe”, literally “build series”, or in other words “type” or specifically in a railroad context, class. If you say BR 102 in an english text, insiders will know that you mean the german class 102, but personally I just prefer to say german class 102. It makes it a bit more obvious what’s going on. That is by the way also what english Wikipedia does.
If you do insist on using the BR prefix, note this:
It’s rarely used with the prefix letters. BR E 18 sounds weird.
You’ll sometimes see people use the old prefix letters, for old time’s sake, and talk about an E 186. It’s not wrong, but it’s also normally not necessary, because there is no diesel 186 (well, there is, but it’s called a 285) and vice versa. An exception to this: Locomotives that can travel to Italy, or some that can be reconfigured to travel to Italy, actually have the E written on them, because that’s legally required there.
The old prefixes are never written out. There are actually way more of them for EMUs and DMUs, so that’s fun.
BR only makes sense if you’re talking about the type. BR 120 is a type of locomotive. 120 007 is a specific locomotive, not a type, so BR 120 007 is technically incorrect.
If you see a four-digit class number, you can sometimes ignore the first digit and sometimes not, and there’s really no good way to tell unless you’re already way too deep into this hobby.
All modern locomotives have a number written on them that ends with a dash and another digit, e.g. 151 003-1. You can ignore that last part if you want, it’s just a checksum, so 151 003 is also correct.
None of this actually matters.

GoaltendingWheeling: Castor, Gauthier, SparksToledo: Bednar, LethemonFor the second round in a row, two strong sets of goaltenders will match up, and both teams should feel extremely confident, regardless of who gets the starting nod. The last two ECHL Goaltenders of the Year are in this series, as Wheeling's Taylor Gauthier won the honor this season and Toledo's John Lethemon took home the award last year. Gauthier had one of the best seasons for a Nailers goaltender in recent memory, as he finished in the league's top-five in six different categories. However, an injury has kept him out of the crease since the middle of March. That has given Jaxon Castor the opportunity to shine, and he has certainly done that. Dating back to the end of the regular season, Castor has gone 8-1-1 in his last ten starts, and has allowed two goals or fewer in seven of the eight wins. The Nailers have also added Garret Sparks, who backstopped the Toronto Marlies to a Calder Cup Championship in 2018. Lethemon and Jan Bednar mostly alternated games during the regular season for the Walleye, and that continued in the playoffs, with Lethemon starting games one and three, and Bednar getting the call in games two and four. Lethemon had a 26-22 advantage in wins, while playing in 23 more minutes. Bednar posted the better goals against average (2.66) and save percentage (.901) over his partner.
DefenseWheeling: Belliveau, Bunz, Drake, Lee, Nickl, Roehl, WaughToledo: Anderson, Cameron, Gabriele, Graves, McCourt, Michaelian, Pietila, PrapavessisThis series features two groups of defensemen who enjoy success on both sides of the puck. From an offensive standpoint, both teams saw three of their blueliners light the lamp in round one, as Isaac Belliveau, Davis Bunz, and Justin Lee tallied for the Nailers, while Grant Gabriele, Jacob Graves, and Riley McCourt scored for the Walleye. Belliveau and McCourt were the most productive players for their position during the regular season, as Belliveau finished tied for fourth among rookie defensemen with 38 points, while McCourt ranked sixth among defensemen with 52 points. A strong combination of scoring and defending also leads to large numbers in the +/- category, and five blueliners in this series finished the regular season at +20 or better. They were Gabriele (+34 - tied for league lead), McCourt (+27), and Matt Anderson (+26) for Toledo, and Thimo Nickl (+25) and Bunz (+20) for Wheeling. Bunz (10) and Anderson (13) joined Belliveau (14) with double-digit goal totals.
OffenseWheeling: Addamo, Frasca, Hamaliuk, Jankowski, Kiefiuk, Koopman, Laderoute, Laviolette, Manz, Martel, Quercia, Svejkovsky, Vierling, WestcottToledo: Bliss, Centazzo, Craggs, Doucet, Gilmour, Gresock, Hawkins, Keenan, Kruse, Lewandowski, Messina, Pilon, Sawchuk, WillmsThe first head-to-head clash of the regular season between Wheeling and Toledo saw ten goals scored in regulation, before the Nailers ultimately emerged victorious in a shootout. Both teams can score and score a lot, as evidenced by their 521 combined regular season goals. Two names that will be mentioned frequently in the series are Toledo's Brandon Hawkins and Wheeling's Jordan Martel. Hawkins won the ECHL MVP Award by leading the circuit with 40 goals and 93 points. Martel was a huge addition for the Nailers, as he finished the year with 35 goals and 58 points. Both players led or tied for their team lead in scoring during the first round, with Martel being joined by his captain, Justin Addamo. On Wheeling's side of the equation, rookie Tanner Laderoute finished second on the squad with 24 goals and 50 points, while Lukas Svejkovsky and Dillon Hamaliuk averaged over a point-per-game. The Walleye had five other players finish with over 20 goals - Sam Craggs (28), Trenton Bliss (27), Conlan Keenan (25), Riley Sawchuk (25), and Orrin Centazzo (22).
Special TeamsWheeling: PP- 20.5%, 11th. PK- 77.7%, 21st.Toledo: PP- 25.2%, 2nd. PK- 81.7%, 9th.Special teams can play a major factor in determining a game or a series, and that was definitely the case for the Nailers in the opening round. Wheeling scored six power play goals in its series win over Indy, while limiting the Fuel to just two man advantage markers. The Nailers went 12-for-12 on the penalty kill in the final three games, and even tacked on a shorthanded strike, thanks to Matt Koopman, who had six shorthanded points during the regular season. The penalty box attendants were pretty lonely during Toledo's first round series against Kalamazoo, as the two teams combined for just 14 power plays, with each side going 1-for-7. Two players in particular should gain lots of attention on these units, which both eclipsed 20% success rates in the regular season. Wheeling's Jordan Martel factored into the scoring on five of the team's six power play goals in the first round, and led the Nailers with ten goals and 21 points on the man advantage during the regular season. Toledo's Brandon Hawkins led the ECHL with 34 power play points during the regular season, and was tied for the lead with 15 goals. During the four-game regular season series, the Nailers were 4-for-18 (22.2%), and the Walleye were 1-for-12 (8.3%).
CoachingWheeling: HC- Derek Army (4th Season, 110-112-15), AC- Mitch Giguere (1st Season)Toledo: HC- Pat Mikesch (1st Season, 48-14-9), AC- Alden Hirschfeld (5th Season), AC- Brent Bain (2nd Season)Derek Army and Pat Mikesch enjoyed great success with their teams this season, and both got there by following drastically different career paths. At age 33, Army is the youngest head coach in the Central Division, yet he has held his current position the longest, as he first took over as Wheeling's bench boss during the 2020-21 season. At age 51, Mikesch is the oldest head coach in the Central Division, yet he is one of two (Jesse Kallechy of Fort Wayne) in his first season with his current club. Both head coaches played college hockey (Army - Providence, Mikesch - Michigan Tech), prior to starting their pro playing careers in the ECHL. Derek spent the majority of his playing career with the Nailers, in addition to time in the AHL, while Pat played five of his eight pro seasons in Germany. Army began his coaching career as an assistant with the Worcester Railers in 2018, before coming back to Wheeling in 2020. Mikesch began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Michigan Tech, before he moved on to the USHL's Green Bay Gamblers, where he was an assistant coach for three years, then a head coach for eight seasons. Army played against Walleye Assistant Coach Alden Hirschfeld, as both retired from playing at the end of the 2017-18 season. Counting regular season and playoff contests, the cities of Wheeling and Toledo have watched their teams do battle against each other 273 times. Home ice has treated both clubs extremely well thus far in the postseason, as the two teams have a combined 5-0 record, following home win totals of 23 (Toledo) and 21 (Wheeling) during the regular season. The capacity of Huntington Center is over one and a half times that of WesBanco Arena, as Walleye games can hold 8,000 fans, while a sellout for the Nailers is 4,700.

This print depicts Cao Zhi (192–232), a renowned poet with a tragic life, as a fragile youth standing on the foreground stairs. Resented for his literary talent by his powerful elder brother, the large figure sitting at the table, he was ordered to compose a poem within the time span of seven steps or suffer capital punishment. The monumental landscape screen transforms the finely detailed terrace into a stagelike space in which the human drama plays out.
Bequeathed to British Library by Sir Hans Sloane (1660 - 1753), part of Sloane manuscript 5293. Transferred from the Library to the British Museum in 1906.
About - Cao Zhi (192-232 AD) was a Chinese poet of the Han Dynasty.
He was the third son of the famous military commander Cao Cao, a prominent figure in Chinese history and one of the main characters in the epic novel "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms". Cao Zhi is known for his literary skills, especially in composing poems.
Cao Zhi is recognized for his poetic skill, and his poems often express intense emotions, philosophical reflections, and observations of nature. His works are considered an important part of classical Chinese literature.
One of his most famous works is “Ode to the Splendid Peacock”. This poem is an expression of his emotions and feelings regarding the decline of the Han dynasty, and he compares the beauty of the peacock to the lost splendor of the dynasty.
Cao Zhi is known for his participation in the famous "Dispute for the Throne" (Xuanjuan zhi zheng), a legendary event in which the brothers Cao Zhi and Cao Pi, Cao Cao's eldest son, fought for the right to inherit the throne of their father. Cao Zhi is said to have presented a poem called "The Splendid Peacock" as part of his argument.
After his defeat in the Throne Contest, Cao Zhi was not executed by his brother, but his later life is less documented. He continued to write poetry and, after his death, his literary work was preserved and appreciated throughout the centuries.
Cao Zhi is remembered as one of the great poets of ancient China, and his contributions to classical Chinese poetry are still studied and appreciated.

Em 2000, o então governador de Pernambuco Jarbas Vasconcelos, vendeu a Celpe pelo valor de 1,7 bilhão e usou o dinheiro para a duplicação da BR-232, uma rodovia federal.
Agora a governadora Raquel Lyra, de forma acertada ao meu ver, vai devolver a rodovia para o governo federal. E priorizar as estaduais, motivo de reclamações pelos buracos.
A intenção pode ter sido a melhor, mas causa razoável desconforto. Pega-se um bem inegociável em qualquer país desenvolvido, que é energia, vende e gasta o dinheiro em algo que não é obrigação do estado.
