Aston Martin One-77 (property — before being seized by Swiss authorities — of the son of the leader of one of the most corrupt governments in Central Africa)
In keeping with its tradition of producing limited edition, hand crafted exotica for the wealthy aficionado, best exemplified by the DB4 GT Zagato of the 1960s, Aston Martin previewed its proposed One-77 'hypercar' at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. 'The finished One-77 made its official debut in April 2009 at the Concorso d'Eleganza Ville d'Este, held on the shores of Lake Como in Italy, winning the 'Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes'. Designed by Marek Reichman, it was the fastest and most powerful Aston Martin ever built, with a top speed of 220mph, and also the most expensive, carrying a price tag of £1,150,000. Hailed by its maker as "possibly the world's most desirable automotive art form", the One-77 with its long bonnet and short tail was every inch the classically proportioned Gran Turismo, combing muscular pugnacity and feline grace in equal measure. A two-seater closed coupé, the One-77 featured advanced technology in the form of an immensely rigid and lightweight carbon fibre monocoque chassis, which carried a seamless body traditionally handcrafted in aluminium. Made from a single sheet of aluminium, each front wing was said to take one craftsman three weeks to produce.  Other state-of-the-art features included bi-xenon headlamps with integrated LED side lights and direction indicators, LED rear lamps (fog and reverse), carbon fibre front splitters, carbon fibre rear diffuser, and active aerodynamics with deployable spoiler. Providing the horsepower needed to breach the magic 200mph barrier was a stretched (to 7.3 litres) version of Aston Martin's existing 48-valve V12 engine. Extensively reworked by Cosworth Engineering, it produced 750bhp and 553lb/ft of torque, and was the world's most powerful normally aspirated road-car engine at the time of the One-77's introduction. Cosworth's extensive re-engineering included fitting dry-sump lubrication, which enabled the V12 to be carried 100mm lower in the One-77's chassis than in that of the DB9. Like the V8 in the One-77's Vantage sister car, the V12 engine was mounted towards the centre of the chassis, well aft of the front axle line in the interests of optimum weight distribution, to which end the six-speed automatic/manual transmission was located at the rear in the form of an integrated transaxle. Power was transmitted to the limited-slip differential by a carbon fibre prop shaft encased in a magnesium alloy torque tube, reaching the road surface via 20" forged alloy wheels - 7-spoke or 10-spoke - shod with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres.
Unusually for a road car, the One-77's all-independent suspension featured pushrod actuation of the adjustable mono-tube dampers, a system more commonly found in modern competition cars. There were double wishbones at all four corners: the front incorporating anti-dive geometry, and the rear anti-squat and anti-lift. The suspension was also electrically adjustable for both ride height and rate change.
The rack and pinion was power assisted, delivering 3.0 turns lock-to-lock, while the steering column was adjustable for both tilt and reach. Braking was supplied by carbon ceramic discs all round, gripped by six-piston callipers at the front, four-piston callipers at the rear. Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), and traction control were all incorporated in the interests of controllability and safety. Releasing the driver's door, which swings out and arcs upwards, the One-77's fortunate owner would be confronted by a leather-trimmed sports steering wheel, electrically adjustable lightweight memory seats, and dual-stage driver/passenger front airbags. Other interior features included automatic temperature control, a trip computer, and touch-sensitive map-reading LED lights. Powerfold exterior memory mirrors came as standard, while front/rear parking cameras were an option. Number '35' of the 77 built, this EU model has a legend engraved on the door sill stating that it was 'Hand built in England for Theodore N'Guema Obiang Mangue'. Finished in red with red-piped cream interior, the car is offered with Equatorial Guinea registration papers.

avan jogia. cis male. he/him.  /  krishna desai just pulled up blasting deal wit it by dababy  — that song is so them ! you know, for a(n) twenty-five (25) year old actor and musician, i’ve heard they’re really -finicky, but that they make up for it by being so +passionate. if i had to choose three things to describe them, i’d probably say late night smoke sessions, foreign cars, written love letters. here’s to hoping they don’t cause too much trouble ! ( emmett, 24, cst, he/him )
Hi guys! I’m Emmett and I’ll be playing Krishna here! If you’d like to plot, please don’t hesitate to drop me a line or like this intro and I’ll drop you one!
OH! And I made this career timeline for Krishna (that’s what took me so long 😭😭😭) that you can check out here!
Krishna was born in Gujarat, India back in 1994, June first to be exact. He was born to a foreigner mother and an Indian father. His mother passed away during childbirth with him, so he was practically raised by his father. In 1997, his father moved with him to the states after he had a career change and was promoted.
Krishna was first scouted as a child. He was four years old in 1998 when he did his first commercial. The casting directors of an upcoming show got their hands on one of his commercials in 1999 and they immediately contacted his father to see if he would be interested in him playing the role of someone’s son on a television show.
It took a bit of convincing, but eventually his father conceded, and things kind of took off for Krishna from there? He was on that show for three years, was in a movie, did a cameo, did another show for five years, film the sequel to that movie during the course of that show, after that show ended, he jumped right into another show that lasted five years. after that show ended, he was in a movie. lol so he’s been a busy, busy boy.
2011 was the year that he released his first two singles. Unbeknownst to many people, he was really invested in music. Acting was something that he enjoyed a lot, and he wanted to continue doing it, but music was just something completely different for him. It touches him in a different way. His father always tells him how he gets that from his mother because his mother was a singer before she passed, and he can’t help but believe him.
So far he’s released three studio albums and sixteen singles in the course of nine years, which is pretty decent, I think. He’s a really hard worker, almost always working, whether it be on an acting project or on his music.
He’s currently working on his fourth studio album! Be on the lookout for it lol
Personality wise, he’s so fucking chill? Like honestly, he’s just good vibes. Totally mellowed out (partially because he’s high 99% of the time lol), he just wants to have a good time without all the drama.
Lowkey materialistic with a car fetish lol he has so many cars that he had to add onto his garage in order to fit all of them. He loooooves cars. He has a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, a Porsche Panamera Turbo Executive, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, a Mercedes-Maybach S650 Cabriolet, a Rolls-Royce Wraith, and last, but not least, his baby.. his pride and joy.. his Aston Martin One-77
He’s not just materialistic when it comes to cars, but to his home as well. While it’s not a MANSION per se, it’s still pretty large. Open concept, floor to ceiling windows, marble floors, the whole nine yards.
Krishna is lowkey a fuckboy, but he’s a romantic fuckboy? Like he loves sex, he’ll sleep with anyone he finds attractive and that’s willing, and he wouldn’t hesitate to tell the other person that it’s just sex, but when he falls for someone, he falls really hard and really fast. Highkey a hopeless romantic. Where do you think he gets the inspiration for all these love songs?
He’s always been just really experimental and free? Like he’s deadass just a hippie in modern times. Free love, peace and love, smoke trees don’t chop them down, all that good shit.
The type of dude you see with his guy friends doing lowkey gay shit. Then again, Krishna’s kinda gay, so lol
Fr though, he doesn’t really like to label his sexuality? Like if he feels the urge to kiss you, he’s gonna kiss you, no matter what you identify as or what’s in your pants (only with consent first, ofc!)
Please don’t call him Kris or Krish or Na or anything like that. It’s just Krishna. His mother named him before he was born, so his name is very special and important to him.
Wanted Connections
Best friend(s)
“Hey bro, gimme a kiss - no homo though.”
Childhood friends
Enemies
Frenemies
Friends with benefits
Exes on good terms
Exes on bad terms
We hooked up, now it’s awkward
Krishna helps (or helped if it happened in the past) this guy explore his sexuality
Fellow car lover
Smoke buddies
Other recreational drugs buddies (Coke, acid, shrooms, e.t.c.)
Songwriting buddies
Someone he asks to listen to his music when he’s finished recording so he can get their opinion
On again / off again
The two of them dated and they had a pregnancy scare that put a huge strain on their relationship, so they broke up.
TBH just give me some gay shit, love that.

` ♠ ; fair compensation.
oh sehun doesn’t believe in true love. it’s a concept invented by the media and used to trick the masses into spending their money on valentine’s day and their countless movies and songs about the subject. the most people can truly hope to obtain it is to find an equally delusional person and suspend disbelief together that the foundation of their relationship is based on trust and feelings, ignoring it will never be truly equal and that at any given time, that delicate illusion will break and the power will shift and one person will end up losing while the other will continue making mult-millions pedaling makeup to women who were just like his ex-wife.
but he digresses.
true love obviously doesn’t exist, but he thinks he’s gotten really close with the love he feels for his matte, pitch black, aston martin one-77. he loves it so much, in fact, that it has its own garage separate from all his other imported cars, and has hired a special team to take care of it. he doesn’t drive it often---he has other cars for that---but when he does, it’s a sunny day with lots of light and not a single call or even an inkling of his father’s existence lingers around him. in short, it’s a perfect day.
but it’s funny how the perfect day can turn into an absolute nightmare. he thinks he hears the sound first, of metal against metal, then feels the shift in movement body moving to the side with its momentum. realization doesn’t truly hit until he sees it, another car, touching his car, marking it, marring it, ruining his precious baby. rage is at the top of his throat, ready to be spewed at the other car’s drivier as his hand grips the door handle, but then he sees who’s driving it.
maybe it can still be a perfect day after all.
he regains his composure before stepping out of the vehicle, clicking his tongue as he goes over to the driver’s side window of the other car, leaning against it as he knocks on the glass. he’s shaking his head, and in a stark contrast from the ire he’d felt earlier, there’s an almost serene smile on his face---serene, and full of mischief. “well, aren’t you a sight for sore eyes, lara jung? we can’t keep bumping into each other like this. a man will get ideas.”
and, oh, the ideas he has.

First Look: The Aston Martin Rapide AMR
As Aston Martin returns to Le Mans to defend its 2017 victory at the iconic 24-hour race, so the latest car in the exciting new AMR stable has been unveiled. Following hot on the heels of the DB11 AMR, Aston Martin has revealed the limited edition Rapide AMR. This production version of the concept shown at Geneva last year is limited to just 210 cars.
AMR stands for Aston Martin Racing and the brand draws a direct engineering and aesthetic link between the company’s successful race team and its road cars. As such the Rapide AMR is a sports car capable of comfortably transporting a team of race drivers to a circuit on the other side of a continent and then tackling the track when they get there.
The design of the new 205mph Rapide AMR has changed little from the concept that was shown at the Geneva motorshow in 2017, with a large and aggressive front grille that is reminiscent of the extreme track-only Vantage AMR Pro. Meanwhile the circular daytime running lights recall the recent Zagato models.
The Rapide AMR’s aerodynamics have been tuned to reduce lift while retaining a neutral balance and the extra aerodynamic bodywork such as the splitter, sills, rear diffuser and boot lid lip spoiler are all carbon fiber. The new bonnet with large ventilation inserts is also made from carbon fiber to minimize weight.
At the heart of the Rapide AMR is a naturally aspirated drivetrain that draws much of its technology and character from the potent Aston Martin Vantage GT12. Larger inlet manifolds with tuned length dual inlet runners enhance the airflow into the 6.0-liter V12 engine and, combined with new engine and gearbox calibration, this results in an increase in power. The legendary V12 now puts out 603PS and 630NM of torque, while a new quad exhaust ensures a raucous sound befitting of the AMR badge.
To help harness all of this power and to launch from 0-60mph in just 4.2 seconds (0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds), the Rapide AMR has 21-inch wheels – a first for any Aston Martin – paired with ultra-high performance Michelin Super Sport tyres. The large, forged wheels have a multi spoke design that is not only very stiff but also aids brake cooling. To further aid thermal management of the brakes, the Rapide AMR utilizes an evolution of the cooling system on the Vanquish S, with modified brake ducts and dust shields.
As standard, the Rapide AMR comes fitted with carbon ceramic brakes. Measuring 400mm at the front with six piston calipers and 360mm at the rear with four piston calipers, this is the first time that a Rapide has been fitted with such stopping power. The carbon ceramic discs are also part of AMR’s ethos to use lightweight components whilst reducing unsprung mass they have a noticeably beneficial effect on the driving experience.
Alongside the new tires, brakes and aerodynamics, the Rapide’s suspension has also received considerable attention. The new Rapide AMR rides 10mm lower than a Rapide S and although the three stage adaptive dampers remain, they have been thoroughly re-engineered to create a car that is more focused, agile and dynamic. Much of this development work has been completed at the newly opened AMR Performance Centre at the Nürburgring.
The Rapide AMR will be available in three different design schemes. The Standard and Silhouette schemes offer four colors – Mariana Blue, Scintilla Silver, Lightning Silver and Onyx Black – with the Standard scheme adding AMR Lime accents to the splitter, sills and rear diffuser. The Silhouette scheme eschews the Lime accents and instead adds a full-length contrasting stripe in China Grey or Clubsport White.
The Signature scheme matches Stirling Green paint with Lime accents and a Lime stripe for the definitive AMR look. This draws the closest visual link to the Aston Martin Racing team and the liveries of its race cars.
The interior of each Rapide AMR reflects the design scheme chosen for the exterior, with either AMR Lime or Galena Silver welting and stitching. There is a full-length carbon fiber center console and the seats are trimmed in Alcantara - both firsts for a Rapide. Also available for the first time as an option is a One-77 style steering wheel. Every car has discrete AMR logos stitched into the seats in Galena Silver and each car will come with a limited-edition AMR inspection plaque as well as AMR branding on the carbon sill plaques.
In addition to the three design schemes, customers will also be able make use of Q by Aston Martin to further personalize their car.
The Aston Martin Rapide AMR will be available globally with the exception of China and Russia and is available from £194,950 in the UK, $240,000 in the US and €229,950 in Germany, with first customer deliveries in Q4 2018.

Jaguar’s Dynamic Duo, the E-Type Coupe and Convertible, Gets One Last Parade Jaguar’s E-Type has been a showstopper from the start. Specifically the 1961 Geneva International Motor Show, when Jaguar took the wraps off its coupe and convertible concepts. No less of an expert than Enzo Ferrari instantly judged the E-Type the most beautiful car in the world. Many car connoisseurs still hold this view. Jaguar had intended to remember that introduction 60 years ago at the Geneva show originally set for March, but pandemic lockdowns iced those plans. So Jaguar came up with a new way to celebrate. But first, a little more history. Back in early March 1961, Jaguar’s new cars barely arrived in time for their much-anticipated introductions — after a couple of epic drives that are part of E-Type lore. The company had decided to preview the coupe for magazine journalists with early deadlines, and some mischievous journalists had gotten it up to 150 m.p.h. on back roads — a racecar-worthy, and prison-worthy, speed at the time. So after that joy ride, the coupe was still drawing attention at Jaguar’s headquarters in Coventry, England, long after it was supposed to have left for Geneva. Too late to transport it, a public relations manager, Bob Berry, decided to drive it, catching the midnight ferry from Dover. But he ran into fog that lasted until Reims, in France. Now critically late, to make up for lost time Berry set out on the drive of his life. He arrived just 20 minutes before the scheduled unveiling on Geneva’s waterfront, against the backdrop of its famous water jet fountain. There was barely time for the steaming coupe to be wiped down. William Lyons, the company president, said, “Good God, Berry, I thought you weren’t going to get here.” “It was the only car I actually drove flat out from one end to the other of a journey,” Berry recalled years later, according to a Jaguar history. “It was the most incredible journey of my life, and I’ve never forgotten it.” An even more hair-raising journey was in store for Norman Dewis, Jaguar’s estimable test driver, who was still back in Coventry with the E-Type convertible. Lyons hadn’t planned to introduce both cars in Geneva, but the response to the coupe was so staggering he changed his mind. He phoned Dewis and told him: “Drop everything. Bring the open-top E-Type here immediately.” Dewis did, completing his trip in about half the time it had taken Berry. Today in Business Updated  April 14, 2021, 3:30 p.m. ET Dewis, who died two years ago at age 98, vividly recalled the story of his journey, shortly before his death. “It was in the days before motorways in the U.K., or the autoroute in France,” Dewis said in an interview at a concours event in Amelia Island, Fla. “It was mostly two-lane roads, through small towns, all the way. Across customs checks and through border crossings. I averaged 68 m.p.h., including the ferry crossing.” He added, “As soon as Bob Berry saw me, he came over and said: ‘Thank God you’ve made it. Look at the size of these queues.’” Indeed, the smitten crowd placed orders for 500 E-Types. When the two cars returned to England, they had covered a total of 3,400 miles — not bad for preproduction prototypes not intended for that kind of hard use. Impressively, both vehicles are still with us; the coupe, with the license plate 9600 HP, is in private hands; the convertible, tagged 77 RW, is still in Jaguar’s collection and is scheduled to be exhibited in the British Museum. Had the cars not made it to Geneva 60 years ago, it certainly would have been a world-class embarrassment, and might have dampened the enthusiasm. But they made it, and that storied introduction helped propel the E-Types to a production run that lasted a completely unanticipated 13 years. A couple of years back, Jaguar announced that it would produce a few “continuation” replicas of its most famous cars (as Aston Martin has done so successfully). Those models, including a few E-Types, have sold quite well. But this year, the company decided that the E-Type had earned its own special remembrance. As a commemoration, Jaguar is offering six pairs — a coupe and a convertible — in the same livery as the Geneva show cars, for sale to the public. The catch is they are sold only in pairs. No pricing has been revealed, but the continuation cars’ base prices were $440,000 each. Here’s something else that will be special about the so-called E-Type 60 Collection: The pairs are Series 1 E-Types from the early 1960s, not replicas. They are being completely rebuilt, and the engines, gauges, electrical systems and more will be modernized. Their paint jobs — Flat Out Grey and Drop Everything Green, in honor of their hasty journeys to Geneva — are exact recreations of the colors of the show cars. Jaguar further promises that those colors will never be used again on any Jags. The delay for the 2021 Geneva show has given Jaguar extra time to add a new wrinkle to the whole project: It will wait a year, allowing time to finish all 12 cars, and hopefully to sell them all. (Some are already finished and sold, Jaguar has announced.) And come 2022, they will all be driven from Coventry to Geneva for a grand event, via the same route as the prototypes — this time obeying the speed limits. Incredibly jazzed about the Aston Martin Victor, more than I should be. It’s a one-of-one GT supercar, yes, but the inspiration it yields is frankly more important.
The V12, manual gearbox, specialty interior, and the mixture of elegance and aggression in its coachwork all make the car rather unprofitable in the large scale (though perfect as a test bed paid for by billionaire oligarchs). No class of YouTuber best known for prank videos and candy tasting is excited enough about this type of thing high enough volumes to justify another run of what is basically an updated One-77. Teslas and Huracans exist for that crowd, I suppose.
Mostly I’m excited about it because it harkens back to the time when one could order an AC Cobra or any other track-oriented street car from some speed shop a few towns away, and they’d build you one bespoke. There’s a craftsman’s touch to it.
Moreover, this handcrafted, single-run approach to automotive production (though catered specifically to the overly-moneyed) allows for these machines to act as free concept cars, already paid for by the patrons who get to take them home. Bugatti is doing this as well, testing design and technology on the chassis, without having to worry if the expensive work put into the project will only end up cluttering the inside of a crusher in fifteen years.

Gran Turismo Sport Reveals its Full List of Launch Cars
Gran Turismo Sport will launch with 162 cars. The figure is a bit underwhelming especially considering Forza Motorsport 7 has over 700 vehicles on its roster. And there are some automakers noticeably missing from the list, such as Bentley, Chrysler, Fiat, and Lotus. But Porsche does make its debut in the Gran Turismo series, with gamers getting access to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, 911 RSR, Cayman GT4 Clubsport, and 919 Hybrid race car. Aston Martin One - 77...

Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Rumah kaca Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept melingkari bodywork seperti visor, meningkatkan sikap agresifnya.
