The Norwegian boss has expressed his admiration towards a fellow countryman who has been heavily linked with a January move to Old Trafford. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s has confirmed that Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland is the subject of interest from Manchester United with the club on the lookout for good players all the time.
The 19-year-old has developed as one of European football's brightest young prospects after a burning start to the 2019-20 seasons. Football fans from around the world can purchase Premier League Football Tickets online to enjoy its stunning performances.
Haaland has netted 28 goals in 22 appearances for Salzburg, eight of which came as the Austrian club fought against Napoli, Liverpool, and Genk in the Champions’ League group stages. Speaking after the Red Devils' 3-0 Carabao Cup quarter-final win over Colchester United on Wednesday, Solskjaer confessed to being a fan of Haaland as the club looks for players who can complement the others we have.

"He is a player I like," Solskjaer told Viasport. "We are looking for decent players all the while. Erling has had a good development so he has to develop further wherever he decides. I do not need to talk so much about him, but we as a team always look for players who can complement the others we have and then we see what we end up with."
Dortmund and Leipzig have already met with Haaland and his representatives to discuss a potential move but it has also been reported that Solskjaer flew to Austria to open talks with a fellow countryman on Friday.
The Man Utd boss insisted that Haaland knows what he wants to do when addressing the Salzburg star's future after a 1-1 draw at home to Everton on Sunday with speculation set to intensify in the coming days.
In the meantime, the Red Devils will be preparing for a trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford in the Premier League on Sunday. Solskjaer's men are then due to host Newcastle at Old Trafford on Boxing Day before taking in a tough away fixture against Burnley two days later.
Manchester United will complete their festal schedule with a crucial showdown against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium on New Year's Day with both clubs still vying for a place in the top four.

The Times is reporting that the Gunners boss is a big admirer of the France international and Arteta is hoping to add Rabiot to his squad.
The same article states that the Gunners are hoping to initially secure the 24-year-old on a season-long loan deal following Rabiot’s lack of first-team opportunities at Juventus this season.
According to the same story, Arsenal’s bid to sign former Paris Saint-Germain star Rabiot isn’t connected to Granit Xhaka’s future at the north London outfit.
The Times go on to add that Arsenal have been linked with a bid for Rabiot in the past but the midfielder decided to move to Juventus from PSG in the summer.
Rabiot has started five of Juve’s 17 Serie A games this season, making a further four appearances from the bench in the Italian top flight.
The Frenchman is currently competing with Miralem Pjanic, Rodrigo Bentancur and Blaise Matuidi as well as ex-Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey and former Liverpool FC star Emre Can for a starting spot.

The home fans were nearly celebrating again just before half-time, but Lacazette's powerful effort was spectacularly headed off the line by Ritchie with Dubravka beaten.
After Sokratis headed wide and substitute Aubameyang had a shot saved, Arsenal got the second goal they deserved through Lacazette's calm finish after Aubameyang's flicked-on header set up the chance.
The only negative from the evening was Ramsey, who will join Juventus on a free transfer in the summer, going off with an injury midway through the second half.
Despite the Gunners fluidity, there was only a combined total of 10 shots from both sides, the fewest in a Premier League game since the nine efforts in the Bournemouth versus Leicester match in August 2015.

Ally McCoist has been left absolutely stunned by reports which claim Arsenal could lose Aaron Ramsey for nothing at the end of the season, after failing to tie him down to a new contract.
The Welshman is in the final year of his Gunners contract and has been locked in talks over a new deal with the club.
But rumours emerged on Wednesday which claim those negotiations have now collapsed.
It means Ramsey is likely to leave the Emirates Stadium for FREE in the summer when his deal expires.
