#Archimago Academy
Text
Pondering Crests and stuff for the FoE Academies. Because that's a fine thing to ponder and to figure out.
Archimago Academy: the Silver Tower, Woods, and a Grey Phoenix.
Dom Daniel: Cave Mouth, a Dragon with an Axe, Book, staff, and Sack.
Beowulf Academy: A Vampire Spear (like a Boar Spear, but for Vampires) crossed by a Sword and a severed Monstrous Arm.
Suleyman Academy: A Compass Rose with each direction having some sort of Creature, monster, or some such (don't know quite yet)
the Russian Academy (still figuring out a name, probably Vasilisa, Veles, or Yaga?) A Skull Lantern on a Stick, three Riders above it And trees beside it.
Tomoko Academy: a Grey Phoenix perched on a Scarecrow dressed in grey, with a White Fox attempting to play with and generally annoy thr bird.
Leeds and Kidd: Symbol is basically a figure of Captain Kidd hanging out with the Jersey Devil over a camp Fire.
Make of this what you will.

Okay...got a fair amount of characters....some nice set pieces (if that's the right word) a fairly okay training/education structure for a secret Society. Populated the place with contemporary and parallel societies of an friendly, indifferent, or hostile nature. Some general ideas of characters' personalities and actions and things...
Still figuring out what some people look like (have found myself figuring out the clothes first, then filling the clothes with people, and then refiguring the clothes from there due to a variety of factors)...but got a fair idea for most of the major players? (Still figuring out Aled and Acrasia (protagonists/Faerie royals/cousins) Huld and Runa( Elves, Combat instructor and Treasure House Overseer respectively. Not protagonists) and Faeries and Elves overall.(Faeries have Wings...Elves don't? as a major disntinction probably?)))
So most of that settled...major thing is...figuring out a plot.
Oh dear.
Make of this what you will.

Figuring out conflicts and things for the FoE....
Custody battle (for lack of a better term) over the Holy Grail(s). Fending off the machinations of the Faustian Order of Maleficium (Maleficia?)? Some group or other wanting to destroy all things Eldritch (including the Eldritch Fellows themselves)? And probably other things relating to the various fields dealt with by the FoE....Ghosts, Angels, Faeries, Monsters, etc. Make of this what you will. The Fellowship of Eldritchicians’ Academies...again.
Began with two repurposings. One of Dom-Daniel (which retained it’s name) and the Tower City of the Erl-King which became Archimago Academy. Dom-Daniel headed by Overseer Cosmin Lungu. Archimago intended to be headed by the Arch Overseer, but is more often than not headed by the Green Lady Bertilak (still figuring out a first name...Rhonwen maybe? Something with an R ) Archimago Academy will likely be the main setting. Might have a separate Academy in Brocéliande as the ‘Convent’ to serve as a Cambridge Archimago’s Oxford. Or not. Beowulf Academy located under the Lake of Monsters where Beowulf slew Grendel’s Mother. Headed by Overseer Morgan Maddox. Later came Suleyman Academy. Following Sinbad Al-Amir becoming an Overseer. Located on a Constantly Moving Island. Overseer Runa doesn’t head any of the Academies. Overseer Archimedes....is a special and odd case. No one is quite sure what he does. Presumably oversee the Uncanny Fellowship Observations in America and other places.... Some time in the 1000s two more Academies came about. One somewhere in Russia (probably in a Forest?) that likely had the involvement of one Ivan Tsarevich and certainly had the involvement of one Baba Yaga. Another got set up in Japan...probably had some involvement from one Abe no Seimei. Where exactly....I’ve no clue? So. Archimago Academy Dom Daniel. Beowulf Academy. Suleyman Academy. The currently Unnamed Russian Academy (?) The currently Unnamed Japanese Academy(?) Will come up with more if only to bring it to a good odd number. So....where would be a place? Time period of the thing is at least Victorian or Post Victorian (Post Dracula times so Quincey can be involved. So whenever that is) Have I given a good enough explanation of what the hell the Fellowship of Eldritchicians does? Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Figuring things regarding Alwin, his Wild Hunt, mount and so on...
Was thinking earlier about Alwin V Eldritch. Eldritch Fellow, Archimago (basically a Tolkien esque Wizard I guess?) and former Erlking of Faerie and Elfphame. Following his abdication at the advice of his Fellows (for lore reasons) Alwin (formerly Alberich) took his Corruptor of Words, his Best Knight Sir Bertilak , and somewhere between 30 to 100 Fae and Elvin Knights and has spent time Hunting, and being somewhat of a Nuisance to his Daughters who are now ruling and stuff (think of it as a King Lear situation? Sans the Tragedy). Some things to consider. What to have Alwin ride...as most Wild Hunts have people riding things... Seems it’s normally Black Horses and everyone’s in Black...will do this differently. Horse Colors...there’s two either Black, or Green (like the Green Knight’s Horse). Some ride on Goats. Eldritch Steeds like but also not like those that Nicnevin and her Court ride in the night. Bertilak on his giant Green Horse. Rosemary on a Green Goat? As for Alwin. I’m not sure. Something Kingly? Could have it be a Silver Steed which is neither Horse nor Goat. Could have it be a Unicorn (which if I recall correctly is sometimes described as an odd mix of a Horse, Goat, and some third thing?) Another possibility...just cause...could be a domesticated Questing Beast as a Mount? And I say this with it having the Snake head and neck...not that it’ll be a Giraffe.... Which seems like it fits better for a Former Emperor of the Faeries and Elves who I should note is not a Faerie or Elf himself? Unicorn? Or Questing Beast? Or something else entirely? A thought on the Unicorn idea is the Wild Hunt (save Bertilak) dismiss their Steeds into some place else when not using them. Alwin...when dismissing the Unicorn mount will leave the Horn behind which he’ll then use as a walking stick/wand. If not that...he will likely be the sort to pick up any old Smooth tree branch or just any serviceable tree branch and use that as a Wand/Walking stick. Come to think of it...I should probably make a post concerning the Eldritch Fellows and what they look like as some have undergone an aesthetic change or two...if anyone is interested in hearing about such things? Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

An updated description of Algimantas Varius Eldritch.
Algimantas (aka the Master of the Ring Market, the Maker, the Tailor, Ring Maker, The Arcane Artisan, Impossible Materials Maker, the Craftsman, the Curious Merchant, the Dragon, and other names besides, unlike some of his Fellows has doffed his Wizard like Robes and has made attempts to update his wardrobe. Wears Brown Corduroys and brown boots. A salt colored Shirt, Lapis blue Vest, and a Fine Green and Tyrian Purple Coat. Hair...mix of Golden and dirty blond curls. A curl or two is always escaping from under a fine Black Bowler. In the Bowler’s band is a red feather and a gold feather. Both seems to glow. His face is unremarkable save a scar across it (seemingly from someone scratching his face. Think like what happened to Mr. Sir in Holes) and a pair of opaque amber color spectacles obscuring his eyes. He wears a ring on each of his fingers. Might possibly have six on one or each hand for the sole purpose of wearing more rings. These are all magical to some extent and each serve a different purpose. Algimantas is the only one able to remove his own rings. Another note on his hands is they have noticeable Burn Scars. Algimantas does not hide these but he never elaborates on what exactly caused these Scars. By contrast he will freely explain why his face is scarred, his voice dripping with annoyance and an itty bitty bit of venom. Lastly, he Walks with a Cane of Black wood topped with a Silver dragon with Wings, two front legs, and tail. The Dragon’ tail curls about the cane like the Vine. His cane resembles a Zeigenhainer walking stick. Algimantas’ voice is peculiar. I’m not certain how to describe it save that it is voice of one who is studying you more than talking to you. Though it is not void of courtesy or charm....but the sincerity of it is often in question A final note, though not technically about his appearance. Algimantas is almost always accompanied by his personal PenDragon Estragon Alaric Pendragon aka Alaric. Alaric resembles though is not quite identical to the Dragon ornament on Algimantas’ Cane (I’m not certain if this Ornament will come to life or not. Probably. If so, it’ll be named Vladimir Alexander Pendragon). There’s that. Feel free to ask questions about Algimantas, the other Eldritch Fellows, the FoE or what have you. Make of this what you will. A hopefully concise description of the Fellowship of Eldritchicians.
I've realized I've been badgering two friends constantly over the past three-fourish months and haven't done much else. So will provide something of an explanation regarding the thing I'd been badgering the two about.
The Fellowship of Eldritchicians. Yes I know Eldritchicians looks like it sounds silly, and indeed it does...but thought and still think it sounded cool so I'm sticking with it. The icians bit meant to be like Electrician, Magician what have you( probably self explanatory but I digress).
The FoE is your standard global secret society (with six Academies across the world, and one in Faerie/Elfphame) dealing with all things Supernatural and Preternatural. Having the goals of studying and understanding the Supernatural, Preternatural, and Eldritch, and in turn assisting it/ protecting against it as the case may be. Was first founded around the fourth or fifth century AD/CE
The FoE primari deals with Nineish major fields
1. Ghosts and various other Undead.
2. Magical objects/items (retrieval/confiscation/rarely destruction)
3. Uncanny Fauna aka Cryptids (Note will be doing my damndest to be careful here In what is an isnt a Cryptid). Has an advanced field (due to its expert) in Primordial Darkness.
4. Demons (still figuring out the exact details here. Primarily dealing with Christian Demonology, though Christian demons will likely not be the only demons of course. Again, being careful).
5. Fantastic Fauna (creatures of Classical Mythology Not overly common).
6. Fairies (Dealing with the aftermath of Fairy actions, or acting as neutral third parties in disputes between the Five Kingdoms of Faerie and Elfphame)
7. Angels.
8. Magical People like Wizards and just Spells in general.
9. Lovecraftian Extra Dimensional Horrors.
Not all Eldritchicians are human (of its seven founders only three were human, and one of them being completely non magical) or entirely human...just a passing mention.
Only involves itself in matters relating to the Supernatural/Preternatural.
New Eldritchicians brought on (which is what this story will likely be focusing on) by senior Eldritchicians picking them and providing a letter of Reccomendation to one of the Seven FoE Academies (Archimago, Dom Daniel, Beowulf, Dobryna (probably spelled that wrong), Tomoko, Suleyman, and Leeds &Kidd Academy). Where they will learn/train for five years. First two years being something of General Study/Shadowing (following trained Eldritchicians on the job). The following three years being to learn in depth three of the nine major fields, a field per year, from senior Eldritchicians proficient in it but also from one of Nine Individuals who are something of Benefactors (?) to the FoE. The Eldritch Fellows/The Archimages/Arch Mages, 9 individua...beings...who are recognized as the experts in their respective field and are important deals in the FoE, though they do not lead it. The FoE being lead by six Overseers and One Arch Overseer who is the first Eldritchicia and founder of the whole organization. (A note that four of the Founders have such leadership positions and all seven of the original Fellowship are still around).
Will share more later. Though I think I posted about the planned protagonists and stuff already? If any of this sounds interesting, feel free to ask questions or what have you.
Make of this what you will.

The FoE's custody and experiments with the a Holy Grail. Owlmen and Saintly Vampires
So, a while ago I pondered what would happen if a Vampire drank Communion Wine. Like, would it be lethal poison, food poisoning? or just inedable (undrinkable?)?
Furthering this thought I wondered what would happen if a Vampire were to drink from the Holy Grail.
So...seeing as the FoE got custody of the Holy Grail (they stole it from Galahad and company)...Algimantas would no doubt try and figure out what the Grail can do. Figured out and did a number of things with the Grail...but I'll focus on the experim done with Vampires. From Algimantas' experiments with assistance from the FoE and from Vampires who either legitimately consented to it, or were on what amounts to Vampire Death Row several outcomes were discovered. In no particular order:
The Vampire in Question died instantly from contact with the Holy Grail and its contents.
The Vampire suffered what amounts to Food poisoning from Contact with the Holy Grail and its contents.
The Vampire in question was 'cured' of their Vampirism and became Human. or simply became Human again. If not human, then simply non Vampiric. At least one person became stuck as a Bat for a short time before it was fixed.
The Vampire in question reacts Violently and becomes a Terrifying Owl like creature (think like the Cryptid Owl man) losing their reason and sense. Reversing this has proven difficult to near impossible. Though these Strixes can be Pacified. The FoE (or Algimantas rather) Basically accidentally made a Fantastic Invasive Species.
The Final outcome of those discovered is the most Miraculous. The Vampire in question will retain Vampiric abilities but the effect of these abilities become positive. For lack of better phrasing these Vampires become Saintly with Miraculous healing. Basically working how people thought Leeches were supposed to work. Literally sucking out the disease from a person. They've also been note to Transform into Doves, Pigeons, and specifically Lions/Lionesses even if they'd transformed into Bats, Wolves, or Mist beforehand. There are only a handful of these 'Saintly Vampires' on record. Including Madame Bernice Valdemar. Prof. Of Music and Lovecraftian Horrors at Archimago Academy.
The reason for these different outcomes as far as Algimantas and the Eldritchicians involved can guess seem to be resultant or the Vampire's intent, belief, and other such factors.
Similar experiments were repeated after the Induced Metamorphosis of the Grail, and with the Second Holy Grail to see if these results stayed. They did so.
Make of this what you will.

Explaining the FoE in case I’ve not done well enough in that.
Alright then... So...FoE stands for Fellowship of Eldritchicians. An organization of individuals who are skilled in or concerned with Eldritch matters. Admittedly Preternatural also works as a descriptor, but Eldritch just sounds cooler. Eldritch also serves as the surname for a group of individuals (the Eldritch Fellows) who have supported the Fellowship since it’s founding in the 3rdish century AD/CE. They have been supporting it as benefactors/Tutors since with several being more involved than others for a variety of reasons. A tiny organization known as the Monitors of the Miraculous, Monstrous, and Mysterious served as a sort of Precursor group doing so at the behest of one of the aforementioned Eldritch Fellows. A big point in the History of the FoE concerns involvement with the quest of the Holy Grail carried out by the Knights of the Round Table and others. The Goals of the Fellowship are generally as Follows. Observe and take note of Eldritch, Supernatural, Occult, Extranatural, or Preternatural and so on. If it’s a threat, they stop it being a threat. Eliminating this as a last resort or when absolutely necessary. Following certain events with the Holy Grail (at the behest/request of another Eldritch Fellow), the FoE also concerns itself with the retrieval/confiscation of Magical/Holy/Supernatural Artifacts and Items...or at least keep tabs on those who are in charge of it. (Though they’ve been in frequent Custody battles over the Holy Grail(s) in their custody). The Fellowship of Eldritchicians primarily has operated out of Europe and through out Asia since that is where they’ve been mainly needed (other areas like the Americas have generally managed exceptionally well without their interference?) still figuring this bit out I must admit. Though the FoE generally go where deemed necessary. If they’re involvement isn’t deemed necessary, they’ll leave well enough alone. Their involvement in America has generally gone no further than the Observation and in some cases Caretaking (as is the case with Dr. L Leeds looking after her Youngest Brother John Leeds). Things in America have generally been under the watch and purview of Overseer Archimedes. Leading the Uncanny Fellowship Observers. The Leadership of the FoE is Seven Overseers. One of these seven being the Founder and Arch Overseer (Grand Overseer? Some such word) of the FoE Alyss Violet Eldridge. Three of these Overseers (Cosmin Lungu, Morgan Maddox, and Sinbad Al-Amin) look over three of the FoE’s six or seven Academies. Then there are Overseer Sophocles of Alexandria (In charge of the Archives and the earlier Monitor of the Monstrous,Miraculous, and Mysterious). And Overseer Runa Ring Maker who looks over The Treasure House where all the Collected, retrieved, and Confiscated artifacts are stored and guarded and what not. Within the FoE are several Splinter groups (think like the Messengers or the Mystorians in Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica). These include U.F.O (Uncanny/Unique. Fellowship. Observers), and the Preternatural Intelligentsia. The PI (who have the Pi Symbol as their symbol...cause) being a very select group that are meant to do espionage stuff...Gathering info on the state of other Secret Organizations(The Institute of Maleficum (don’t remember how to spell it. Means Sorcery or something), the Hermitage, the Knights of Cobernic (custody fight over the Grail), and others.... After the business with the Grail (following the example of the three Grail Knights and excluding Lancelot) it was established that Eldritchicians should conduct business in teams of Three. These trios are ordinarily set up after studies/training has concluded or after General studies has been concluded but prior to advance training? Fields Eldritchicians are trained in (each trained in at least three, but there can be more) Wisdom/Knowledge/Naming/Magic... Faeries and Elves (including Politics). Demons (of all sorts) Astronomy is required before learning about Demons. Ghosts(ranges between Exorcism, Ghost busting, or Counseling) Undead things (Vampires and the like)(several Eldritchicians are such things) Eldritch Horrors (Lovecraft like stuff) Fantastical and Folkloric Fauna (Classic Mythology stuff, Cryptids. This does not include certain things. Wend*go$ and such (did I do that right?) are not covered...) not included. While Lumberjack creatures will be? (Hidebehind in particular is important). Primordial Darkness and Shadows. Angels. Magical Artifacts and Items. Undersea Creatures Storm Elementals. Alchemical stuff And...I think I got everything? The FoE recruits people by Senior Eldritchicians taking notice of people with potential for such work (usually having some Supernatural or Magical talent like seeing Ghosts, Making magical stuff, being supernatural like Faeries and Elves, etc...) and having the Headmasters of each Academy divide however many they pick up between the Academies. They have a max and minimum of Students (have to have enough for full trios with maybe a few extra for other duties). And go from there. This Story or whatever will likely focus on six individuals (more on them later) being recruited and joining the FoE for a variety of reasons. They’ll likely find themselves at the Archimago Academy, and several of the Eldritch Fellows making appearances prior to their roles as Tutors. Regular Teachers are senior Eldritchicians given the job for one reason or another... So...yeah. If you’ve got any questions about any of these ramblings. The FoE, certain Eldritchicians (have a list somewhere), the Eldritch Fellows, etc. Make of this what you will. Al, the Chronographing Cottager and Prince of Naming

Possibility for a seventh FoE Academy or some such....
So...I was watching The Castle in the Sky...remembering that the name Laputa comes from Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels...and thought... Hm...two of the the Academies are underwater (Dom-Daniel and Beowulf Academy) the rest on land? With the entirety of The Russian Academy moving about on legs like Baba Yaga’s house...(hm...I wonder)... One on an eternally moving Island... Why not have one moving about the Clouds? Though...I’m not certain...if I do...there will be the questions of how it floats, how people get up there, and so on...then the question of when it was founded in relation to the others (Archimago remains the first). But for now...it’s a possibility....one to consider... Then again, might not have it be an Academy for the FoE. Could just be a thing Alyss and the Eldritch Fellows made...just because. Might relate more to the Preternatural Intelligentsia within the FoE...or could just be like a personal retreat or something for Alyss...like...Vacation...a hide out...or how she gets around instead of walking...Her own Study Cottage in the Sky...or something like that? I mean...each Academy already has a room or a handful of rooms for the Arch Overseer’s use....could have one separate... Was looking up Storm spirits. Apparently there’s a mythical land called Magonia populated by Sky Pirates or something...so that might be worth looking into...Not sure... Any of this sound interesting? Make of this what you will. Scattered thoughts concerning a new character thing
Atlas Weyland Elric
Basically a Frankenstein monster sort of creature created through the combined efforts of Algimantas Varius Eldritch, Albus Viggo Eldritch, and Aldread V Eldritch after Algimantas read Frankenstein when it originally came out.
Albus only agreed if they all agreed to take some part in caring for and educating Atlas. Atlas' first and second name were agreed upon by the three Fellows.
Albus was the most caring and is the one of the three to actually consider Atlas his son (reason why he has the name Elric. Eldritch would not be entirely accurate, Eldridge as Alyss was named was uncertain so they went with Elric).
Atlas is almost always in the company of Albus alongside the ghosts that regularly escort the Eldritch Fellow.
Atlas knows: Alchemy, Ghosts and various Undead, Angels, Magical Items(though can only make magical weapons), Sword making, Cartography, Poetry (huge fan of the Romantics), Seamanship (a qualified Sailing Master). Plays the Concertina and has a melodious Baritone (I think Baritone is the word? However you describe Stan Rogers' voice). He also paints landscapes and portraits of people
Atlas worked for the Fellowship of Eldritchicians for a time, probably attended Archimago or Suleyman Academy. Was probably on a Trio with Quincey Johnathan Harker...but almost immediately retired to accompany and live with Albus.
Probably attended Dreadrock University for a time, before dropping out halfway through?
I should probably note like Frankenstein of the book (the Creature I mean) Atlas is about 8 feet tall (Albus somewhere around seven feet). he's Wide shouldered, freakishly strong with haunting eyes.
Eyes are something of either a Ethereal ghostly pale blue, electric blue, golden. Actually, lets have it be a mismatched pair of Amber and Blue eyes.? Wears spectacles (most likely because he needs them?)
Hair long and Black witch shocks of Gold and Silver.
Unlike his Creators' very extra wardrobes, Atlas usually just wears a Peacoat and a Marineers/Greek Sailors Cap. He does have a Lighthouse Brooch (Pin?) on the lap of his Coat though.
Probably knows several languages but I'm not certain which ones yet.
Participates when Albus has his War Games with Queen Gloriana
On the cartography thing, regularly visits Archimago Academy and Avalon to keep up to date maps on the constantly changing Landscapes of Faerie and Elfphame.
Is on generally good terms with his creators. As well as his various siblings and cousins (for lack of a better word). On best terms with Alyss(sorta cousin?), Queen Gloriana of Avalon(cousin?), and a handful of the Kleinmann family (cousins/siblings?) most likely Alruna, Panacea, Hermes, Phanos, and Albedo? Basically all the FoE aligned Kleinmann's. On shakier terms with the Kleinmans on staff at Dreadrock.
So yeah...there's that.
Make of this what you will.

Protagonists' cohort( part 2).
The rest of the Protagonists' cohort though these people aren't protagonists.
Selene Szark: A Vampire, one of several rehabilitated in the care of Eldritchician and Preternatural Intelligencer Prioska Lakatos (also a Vampire). Is the sort of Vampire that can be incorporeal, super strength, and heals/regenerates in moonlight And some shapeshifting (Cats, Magpies). Not killed by Sunlight, but made incredibly weak and ill in regular Sunlight. How the Light of Faerie and Elfphame effects Vampires...I'm not certain. Has met one Eldritch Fellow while in the care of Prioska.
Nim Bosch:Short for Nimrod, Nim is a Werewolf who was up until recently a part of Queen Diana of Elfphame's hunting party. Not much else at present. Has met several of the Eldritch Fellows.
Bill Carnacki: An ESPer (Psychic Powers and what not) and can see ghosts. His hair has gone white like most ESPers due to the Shock of coming into their Powers (other ESPers at Archimago staff include Algirdas Simmons and Prof. Florimond Feather).
Guildenstern: A Graduate of Dreadrock University with accepted expertise with Angels and Demons. Human. Enjoys Astronomy. Oldest of his Cohort. No relation to Guildenstern from Hamlet. Has met two of the Eldritch Fellows as a student at Dreadrock
Ajeet: A Changeling in Titania's Court who is basically coming along as a Friend/Bodyguard for Aled. Has met several of the Eldritch Fellows.
Cecelia Luminita Funar: A young Romanian woman who showed potential for Elemental magic especially the Weather. That or she's a Dragon...because. Would have gone to Dom Daniel (the second oldest FoE Academ, run by Overseer Cosmin Lungu a former Solomonar?) but the class was full. Her letter of recommendation came straight from overseer Lungu.
So...there's the protagonists of this thing and the rest of their cohort. Will probably share more regarding how they normally dress and such.
Feel free to ask questions about any of these 13..(from this or the previous post).
Make of this what you will.

Protagonists and their cohort and stuff...
As mentioned before, the FoE academies teach for Five Years. 26 in a year separa into Cohorts of 13 (Smaller class sizes?). With the exception of Dom Daniel which only accepts 13 students for a year(possibly the same for either Leeds and Kidd Academy or Tomoko Academy). Protagonists for this thing will be entering their first year blah blah...for a variety of reasons.
Perdita Alunni: Still figuring her out, but basically got on the FoE's radar when it was noticed she has skill in Making. figuring out her whole thing still.
Rei Arashi: Practically raised within the FoE, Rei Arashi is the adopted daughter of Preternatural Intelligencer Tomomi Arashi. Rei has natural Albinism (unlike most other white haired characters whose hair is white for different reasons), can see and communicate with Ghosts. Plays an instrument of some sort (still figuring that out). Came along with variou trick Umbrellas given to them by their mother. Has occasionally interacted with Faeries (due to Tomomi occasionally leaving Rei in the care of Rosemary Goodfellow) and from those interactions picked up a habit of not writing their name consistently. Though there are 5 writings she regularly uses and three favorites. The Second oldest in the Cohort (mid to late 20s ish). Knows Aled and Acrasia.
Acrasia Pendragon: Ninth child of Queen Gloriana and her consort Arthur Pendragon. Joining the FoE with recommendation from her aunt, former Headmistress of Archimag Academy Morgan Le Fay. Has Mist grey Mothlike Wings. Has a Wand that's a silver branch, a Faerie Pistol, and a Book gifted to her on her naming day that's full of how to make potions and stuff. Loves turning people into animals and back for fun.
Aled of Faerie: Son to Queen Titania and her consort Oberon. Has Antlers, Moth Wings of Blue and purple. A Trouble maker at heart, young Aled has three magical gifts. A Living Shadow, a Selfswinging Sword of Thunderbolt Iron, and what the FoE recognizes to be a 'Hide and Seek Ring'. On good terms and supportive to his cousin Acrasia. He or she might have a crush on Rei. Was recommended by Inteligencer Rosemary Goodfellow.
Rubedo Kleinmann: Seemingly a son to One of the Kleinmann family. Rubedo is short and somewhat frail. Reccomended by multiple Kleinmann Eldritchicians. Breaking with Tradition of the Kleinmann family by not attending Dreadrock University and joining the FoE at the earliest chance. Youngest of his cohort at...17? Or something.
Omer Adams: A Half Giant, both good with animals, baked goods, and mechanically minded. Omer 'ran away'(given full support by everyone there) from the circus his Family (Mom(the Giant Gerlinde) Dad (Cain) elder brother Abel and sister Eve) works for 'Mr. E Fantastic Phantasmagoria'. only one against him joining the FoE was Mr. E (or his 'Uncle Algernon'himself and that was mostly petty annoyance). limited Shapeshifting and illusion based magic.
Casandra Sibyl Read: A Cambion (half demon child) With some shapeshifting and Prophetic Abilities. Cassandra's demonic heritage shows up in horns, a tail, and purple skin (basically a Tiefling?) and Eyes that are like full moons yet not blind? Ward to 'Astrophel O Mancy' owner and proprieter of Mancy's Emporium for Fortunes, Herbs, Games and more. Joined the FoE after a particular game night with Mancy and her coworkers. one Co Worker insisting Cassandra join the FoE, another saying she should go to Dreadrock...Cassandra ultimately deciding to join the FoE. With both a recommendation from her former Eldritchician Coworker, and another from Mancy himself. Was given several gifts on leaving. a bag of Dice for gaming. A Tarot Deck Hand made by Mr. Mancy (he doesn't hold with Tarot, but Cassandra enjoys doing readings among other methods of Divination), a Telescope(for stargazing) and reminding Cassandra to keep up on her Violin Practice. And a silver ring with some writing on it. accompanying Cassandra is an Owl that always accompanied Mancy. Stolas. tumblr is dumb so I guess I need a second part for the rest of their cohort.

A better explanation of FoE curriculum and what not.
With the FoE things are relatively simple. People wishing to join the FoE or have the right potential for the FoE are chosen by older Eldritchicians who provide basically letters of recommendation.
There are Seven FoE Academies globally
Archimago Academy (current Headmistress, Rhonwen Goodfellow deHautdesert (A Goodfellow, one of the Old Fae).
Dom Daniel (current Headmaster, Overseer Cosmin Lungu(human, Solomonar) )
Beowulf Academy (current Headmistres, Overseer Morgan Maddox(human))
Suleyman Academy (current Headmaster, Overseer Sinbad Al-Amin (human))
Vasilisa Academy (current Headmistress, Baba Vasilisa the fifth, Human/Witch).
Tomoko Academy (current headmaster....don't know yet. probably not human?)
and William and Leeds Academy (still figuring this name out. might switch it to Kidd and Leeds Academy).(current Headmistress, Calista Flatwoods(The Flatwoods Monster))
These Academies take in 26 students a year separated into two cohorts. This excludes Dom Daniel which only accepts 13 students per year at the insistence of Overseer Lungu.
First year is some General studies stuff. Your Math, Gramma, Logic, Rhetoric, all that stuff that's good to know in general and also happens to be of assistance with certain Preternatural Practices. General introductory courses on the a Preternatural practices the FoE caries out. Studying about Demons, Ghosts, Faerie/Elfin History and Politics, Classes in identifying, dealing with, and making Magical items/artifacts.
Second year. Shadowing active Eldritchicians doing their thing, with more studying and stuff in things like Astronomy or Music advanc from the previous year. More advanced studies with the Eldritch and Preternatural subjects.
Next three years are years of Eldritch Tutoring. Being sent off for classes with particular individuals who will teach and decide if one is sufficiently proficiencient in an Eldritch Field.
After each student completes these three years of Proficiency training the students are separated into Trios (might change this) to best cover the fields an Eldritchician trio should know. The Extra two usually finding placement in the Archives, the Treasure House, or elsewhere.
