Hello, and welcome to my nerdy little spot! :) I'm BB, I'm 24, and I'm a queer Korean American college student living in upstate NY :))

I'm genderfluid and nonbinary, and go by they/them. I'm also pan and demisexual, but I also vibe with bi as a label, so I just generally describe myself as queer when it comes to my orientation labels :)

I post about Daniel Jackson (Stargate SG-1) and K-Pop the most (I’ve been a multistan since 2012!). I'm also new to self-shipping, and currently write about my f/o and s/i, Daniel Jackson and Ji-Yu, respectively. If you find Stargate, space travel, and Korean princesses exciting, there's more info on their story under the cut! :)

I also write the occasional Daniel Jackson x Reader fic, as well as some Stargate headcanons, but I am a full-time uni student with a part-time job, so my ability to write fanfic is generally sporadic lol. I am interested in requests and ideas for both of these SG-ventures, so my rules are under the cut and my ask box is open! :)

I'm not likely to write a lot of nsfw posts, but I do reblog some occasionally, so minors DNI or you will be blocked. Ageless blogs who interact with nsfw posts and reblogs will also be blocked. Other DNI are pretty basic in my opinion but alas, basic human rights aren't considered such by everyone. Just don't be a bigot or creep, and you can stay lol. I also have some anxious tendencies, so gentleness in wording/phrasing and tone indicators are always greatly appreciated :)

Request Guidelines (Daniel Jackson x Reader; Stargate SG-1 Headcanons):

I'm pretty open to writing about most things, but I will not write about suicide, self-harm, ED, incest, rape/noncon/dubcon, furries/hybrids, horror, heavy gore, or anything else that I find triggering or uncomfortable. If something comes up that isn't included in this list, I won't be writing it, but I will let you know just so your ask doesn't go unanswered :)

I write my y/n fics to be gender-neutral by default, but if you have any pronouns/labels/identities/adjectives/etc. that you would prefer for the reader, please include it in your request and I'll be more than happy to include it!

I am always open to suggestions and input regarding SG-1 headcanons, so feel free to drop some ~hot takes~ and ideas in my ask box if you so please!

Self-Ship Update:

Regarding my self-ship, "Can I touch your heart?", I currently have a handful of chapters uploaded for the series, but I plan to rewrite it and reboot it sometime this year (2024). Ji-Yu being a Korean princess from a planet resembling the Joseon Dynasty, joining the Tau'ri, and her and Daniel getting together will be kept the same, but the general background and quality of the plot will be improved in the rewrite. The link to the original version of "Can I touch your heart?" can be found below, but I might remove the link and retag older chapters for the sake of the rewritten version I'll be posting in the future. This is going to be a long explanation but TLDR: I’m writing a story set in a fictional version of the Old West that centers heavily around Native American culture and I need help making sure the concepts it tackles (the negative impact of racism, the preservation of culture and the importance of unity and community during hardship) aren’t problematic or offensive. My biggest concerns are listed at the bottom of the comment. Thanks in advance for reading.

So for the past two years, I’ve been working on a series of movie screenplays which will be converted into graphic novels (I’m better at writing film scripts than comic scripts - they just make more sense to me and it helps with my illustration process if I do it that way).

The premise revolves around a version of the Old West that has dinosaurs as the animals. The overall story, and the first story arc in particular, revolves around two main characters (a white woman - Emma - and a Native American man - John) living in a small Western town, and whose fathers are murdered by corrupt lawmen. It’s up to Emma and John to find out why they were murdered and get justice for their fathers’ deaths.

Here’s where I started to doubt myself and why I’m here today, writing this:

The reason why these two men were murdered is because there is a village hidden in the woods just north of the western town. This village serves as a refugee camp founded by and for a small collection of Native Americans of different Nations who survived and fled from a brutal war years ago, and are trying to live the rest of their lives in peace. (They’ve chosen to live together because, strength in numbers - I’ll come back to this later)

These men who were murdered were the previous lawmen of the Western town, who were helping *another character* to keep this camp a secret from people who wouldn’t like the idea of refugees living so close to their home (and don’t like POC in general).

Furthermore, one of the main characters in the overarching story is a young Native American man named *Harold*, who is the next stage in human evolution because of his ability to use vibrational communication against the dinosaurs - which helps him protect himself and others from the hostile world they live in. (I'll come back to this as well)

So as you can see, I’ve already spent a lot of time and effort on this story. But I don’t want to move forward with illustrating and publishing if it is problematic. I want to tell a story that takes a firm stance against racism, and encourages unity, justice and freedom.

I’ve done research on how best to avoid using racist stereotypes and reworked the story multiple times so that the story stays as progressive as possible without sacrificing its logic or entertainment value. But to make sure I've done it right, I need help from anybody who can provide an answer.

My biggest concerns are:

1. Is the depiction of different Nations coming to live together problematic, unrealistic or in any way offensive? From what I understand, these Nations didn’t always get along and I was wondering if it would be considered offensive to depict them as cooperative with each other?

2. Because many of these Nations were never anglicized in this version of history, how would I go about naming the characters that are members of these Nations without entering offensive territory?

3. Is the character of Harold problematic despite being one of the central characters and not a tool used by any "white savior" character? (Please note: I understand that there is a racist trope in literature called “The Magical Native American”. I should clarify that his powers aren't tied to his race or religion - there are multiple characters in this story of different backgrounds with the same powers, who show up in later story arcs.)

Hey guys :)

Maybe I'm going chronological for one time, so I can sort my thoughts easier.

Yeah, Goldie's much mire active than I would've thought, too. But they did all those things to keep me alive and kind of save, since we still don't know who they are exactly working against. (I mean, we don't know who Goldie exactly is either, but you get my point)

Honestly, I am pretty sure the TSB timeline is continuing, at least if my theory that Goldie just set me back in an alternate timeline is true. In this case I feel sorry for TSB, though..Extremely sorry. He still was 'my' Jake back then, even though he acted weird in the end (maybe was manipulated by entities). I mean, if what he wrote was true he went with authorities. And in the end..this could've been his downfall.

And yeah, maybe I'm not exactly safe, but I just have to go back. If I go, and if I lose my job, I have some things to sort out. And Jake luckily agreed with me that clearing up my desk isn't the worst thing I can do before leaving. We're still thinking about a location, which I could luckily deside myself. Max agreed on that. Even though he still has some doubts. (I mean, of course...His cousin opened the door with bruises all over her face.) He did promise to not ask any questions until I feel ready, though. That gives myself and Jake some time to figure that out.

And also, Jake is right! We have three Jakes and three smart people. YUVON. And of course Goldie, like you said Yu :) And some information about the previous timeline. (And that was it with being chronological)

So yeah, like I said, Max and I'll go. And I also think we can be pretty certain now that the message came from Goldie not the MWAF (which is relieving). I saw the messages and they didn't make Jake the bad guy. I honestly just don't think I can quote them yet. (They're too good, but I probably start daydreaming if I do) But they talk about Jake being an important part of my life and my heart and Max protecting me when he cannot. My dear cousin jumped to conclusions when he saw my bruised face. About Max' phone...I'll probably throw it in a river or something if he brings it with him. I told him not to, also because of Jake (he's not only worried about the MWAF apparently...He didn't exactly say it out loud, but I think it's pretty obvious) but he loves this device.

And I emphasize with you about the being kidnapped thing, you'll manage it, I know it :) And if I need to jump dimensions and box some sense into your Crow-Crew xD

No but for real, you can do that. I know it :)

Jake, find a good point in time to talk to her. But do it :)

Otherwise, I still think the 'underlying desire' theory is a possibility! But, like always in the moment, we could be wrong.

As for my stasis, I really do not wish to talk to more people who think I've been kidnapped. And I am a bit scared that could somehow lead to either them or me being in more danger again. But for now we have to wait.

I for now will pack some important things and paper & pens xD I don't want to leave y'all behind :P

Hello Jake, it is a pleasure to meet you. I am not quite sure in which way Liska will handle giving you my message, but she promised me to not read it for now.

I don't know whether she told you before or not, but as far as I am concerned she realised I am not only worried about the MWAF chasing her.

With me breaking out of this stasis I am sure that my followers aren't that far behind. And I know you can't do anything from where you are, but cross checking way to protect her doesn't seem to bad to me. Especially since we are similar but still fairly different from each other. At least it seems like that from what I have read.

For my part, I recently improved and updated Nym-OS which allows me access to Liskas whereabouts. If Yuvon should read this, she knows and agrees to it.

Still I am yet stuck on one little detail: I am trying to help Nym-OS in counterattacking. So, even though I am sure you already knoe this yourself, Nym-OS gets the ability to access location of the people attacking Liskas phone. I am almost done with that, so we are able to see a bit easier if and where people are that could be a danger.

Do you have any other ideas for ways I could help? Or even improve what I am doing momentarily. I wouldn't normally ask this since I know and trust my skills, but I think that this is fairly different from a 'normal situation'.

Um. I don't know if you've seen the newest person to send in a letter, but we now have an issue.

Jessy, if you're reading this, I was sort of trying to avoid talking about this right away but I'm sort of trapped in a weird place, and Jake's here too because I'm a dumbass. I did not, so you know, let him read your letter or my reply. I figured you wouldn't want that. Sorry for dancing around the issue earlier :/ But at least you can get a good sample of the complete insanity we go through on the regular now!

Yeah... you're getting thrown into the deep end right now, aren't you. Sorry. There's no way to ease into this. You should probably either stop reading these entirely or start reading the letters from the beginning, so this will all at least make some sense. The first letter should start with the words "To whoever reads this," just so you know you get the right one.

Back to you, Lis. Yeah, I feel pretty bad for TSB Jake too. I honestly can't imagine being in his position right now.

You could give Max half the truth. Tell him you have a stalker, and he's starting to get physical. Jake has been trying to help you get away from the asshole. It's not even a lie, just... not the full truth. Because. You know. The whole truth is completely fucking insane.

Ahaha, thanks. I don't think that's necessary, though. Actually, seeing future!Jessy's perspective has caused a bit of a paradigm shift. I think I might need to reconsider what all to tell and not to tell the Crow Crew. I just sort of default to keeping things secret, now, but you've seen how well that worked for me with you and Rai, and with Jake.

Again, you probably should wait for them to contact you first, but you WILL need to talk to them when that happens. What you say to them and what you don't is up to you.

Pack a couple different pens XD We're all a bit long-winded.

I am glad it was Goldie who contacted Max. Yuvon's suggestion for an excuse seems a good one, as there are far less things to remember that way. You simply need to oversimplify everything.

I do not, unfortunately, entirely believe that Yuvon was joking when she made that comment, based on previous comments and her ongoing guilt. I can't understand sometimes why she feels the need to lie so much. It is difficult for me to read people, much less her.

I will speak to her eventually. Early tomorrow, perhaps, if nothing else rears its head. Yuvon looks tired, and I am also admittedly not at my peak. I sincerely hope she does not wake up as early as she does every single day. It may get somewhat taxing, what with the lack of coffee here.

It is a pleasure to meet you as well, despite the unusual circumstances.

That our pursuers may be freed from the stasis is a logical conclusion. Seeing as the last known location I had on them in my universe was approximately five hundred miles from Duskwood, they will likely be some of the first to free themselves from the stasis. I do not believe I need to warn you that time is of the essence.

It seems as if I am a small distance ahead of you in the development of countermeasures, perhaps because I have had more linear time to develop them. If you are where I think you are at in the development, you likely have or will soon hit a bug you cannot pin down that makes the pinpointing mechanism simply refuse to work at all. Presuming your and my version of NYM-0S are similar enough, the issue should lie in the public bool set in line 132 of the third part of the targeting script, the script that decides what constitutes a target; you have it defaulted to "false" where it should default to "true".

As for additional countermeasures: I was attempting to work on a rudimentary automated system of pattern detection when I was brought here. Essentially, its function would be such that it would be able to triangulate using the locator features already installed to find a rough estimate of where their headquarters might be. However, I have not found any way thus far to eliminate outliers, and as such the feature is currently next to useless. I am no longer able to work on the code, but perhaps you will have more luck than I did.

That is all I can think of for the moment on that subject. However, I have an odd theory on what may be part of the reason we vary so. If you have a moment to spare, please answer me this:

When I was very young, back when Mother was still around, she took me to a doctor for odd behaviors. This included not looking people in the eyes, but there was a list. I was given a diagnosis; if you had the same experience, you should likely know which one.

Did you have this experience? If so, please prove it by stating what the diagnosis was.

Do not worry if you do not know what I am talking about; I would rather you did not guess. Simply state that you don't know. It will confirm my theory.

hi! I would loove some help figuring out my type. I feel like I've been trying to figure it out for years. I'll feel like a type fits me until it doesn't & then another type makes more sense until it doesn't lol so any help would be greatly appreciated! I don't even know where to begin, it's so hard to describe myself ahh because I feel like there's no one thing I could say to peg me down cause itd just be a contradiction. I feel like I fit into every category yet I don't fit anywhere truly. (1)

You seem obviously ENFP, almost suspiciously so, but then after I looking at your blog I had the additional guess of ESFP.

It is very typical (and known among typology circles) that type-hopping and feeling like no type can quite define you and your endless “contradictions” is an xNFP enneagram 4 “redflag.” The amount of typing help asks sent by xNFPs repeating these claims, verbatim, is so staggering that it turned into something that typers and regular typology blogs alike have learned to see coming from miles away as if it came with alarms blaring. Why would this be an xNFP thing, you ask? it’s because the combination of high Ne and low Te is perfect for falling into this trap: Ne is built to see many possibilities and give them all equal consideration, not being inclined to refine any of those ideas or settling for one, so everything can seem “right” or “wrong” at the same time, while low Te, when underdevelopped, has trouble finding the right information about both one’s self and the theory (which is not helped by poor self-awareness that many high Fi usersnsuffer from), selecting the right material, organizing it suitably and working it through to the most plausible conclusion. Instead, underdevelopped low Te takes messy, or not completely conscious routes, and comes up with loose results, wondering why nothing makes sense. In addition to this, high Fi users tend to intensely want to identify with things that they want to identify with, what they perceive as good (or bad, in the case of the ‘edgy" ones), in short: anything that their Fi values, rejecting the truths about themselves shall they not fit with their own constructed identity.

Your tritype seems strongly influnced by 7w6 and 4w3, with probably a 9 fix. If you don’t know the enneagram, I suggest you put some research into the subject, as I’m sure you’d take a liking to it; those enneagram types can influence your mbti typing because they already make you seem like an xNFP regardless of what you are. The good news is that they tend to correlate quite heavily with those mbti types.

“I love people and connecting with people but they also exhaust me and I love being alone but sometimes that’s not good for me either” is typical for SO/sps, as social/self-pres variants want to connect with people but are held back by their auxilliary instinct, but this can be explained another way: ENFPs are known to be “introverted” extroverts, which could be your case.

I was open to the possibility that you are an Se dom, a sensor, because of the pragmatic and down to earth vibe of your blog. However, that could just be the identity your high Fi/enneagram 4 has constructed for you (at least at the moment.) You say you love stimulation, but what kind of stimulation do you gravitate more towards? is it intellectual, or physical…etc. This can give us a definitive idea on whether you’re a Sensor or an iNtuitive.

The tendency to daydream all sorts of adventurous scenarios instead of following them through is a general 7/Ne dom thing, as Ne is excited by new opportunities and loves optimistic ideas but lacks the Si to follow through, or the Te to make a coherent plan to reach that goal. This results in the Ne dom stagnating. You confusion about life is a hallmark of the age and period of developement that you’re in, as well as an enneagream 7 feature, but it’s more often a problem for iNtuitives than it is for Sensors. It could be due to a type of perfectionism: Ne wants to keep being open to new possibilities in hopes to pursue them somehow, but they have trouble thinking of the right possiblities to pursue or how to get there, and can’t settle on one thing because you feel insecure about missing out on the others. “it gets to complicated when I think too much about it” seems to be a reluctance to adress the issue head on, probably unconscious. You have to find out why it seems to be so complicated.

“I also think I’m a perciever but I’m also pretty orderly and I like to clean/ organize if I’m in the right mood, I’m also on time to things which is usually not something percievers are good at so it confuses me.” Perceivers can be quite clean and organized, it is a myth that judgers have to be physically in order while Perceivers have to be messy. It’s an oversimplification of the information, “I’m pretty responsible and have always been mature/“the mom friend” but also not at the same time. “ is also an overly simplified statement (low Te) and it is known that with tert Te, ExFPs can show a sudden, very organized or more bossy side than usual. To conclude, everything points towards the low Te and Pe dom problems.

I’m pretty sure you’re an ENFP, but you could still be an ESFP. You probably think you already sent me way too much, and cannot dare to add to the pile, but don’t worry about that, feel free to send any addition if you want to go more in detail about something or have a question/disagreement.
