#batman: knightfall#knightfall#the thing about the knightfall saga is that there are some objectively interesting concepts that they explore there#about like the idea of Batman as a mantle#and what it looks like when other people try and fill the shoes that Bruce left behind#(And that's ignoring all the sweet sweet whump potential)#But it's also limited by the fact that it is fact a comics arc#and thus must spend extended amounts of time following Batman as he beats up his entire rogues gallery#And spend time on stupid plot points like the whole shondra kinsolving mess instead of actually interesting stuff#like#JPV as Batman is something that I think is legitimately interesting as an idea#however#this is counteracted by the fact that the moment he starts to talking to the halucinated flaming head of St Dumas#I completely lose interest in whatever he's doing#memes#carthago delenda est#dc#bats + birds + affiliated
