قال الشيخ صالح الفوزان حفظه الله :
«ضعف العقيدة هو المرض الحقيقي الذي يجب عـلاجه بمعرفة التوحيد والعقيدة الصحيحة».
The Sheikh Saalih Al Fawzaan, may Allaah preserve him said:
"The weakness of Aqeedah is the real sickness, which must be cured by (learning and) knowing about At Taw'heed and the Authentic Aqeedah (Creed)"

These three issues are the core of happiness;
1. when he is given, he is grateful,
2. when he is tested, he is patient and,
3. if he falls into sin, he seeks forgiveness.
Whosoever is given all these three characteristics, he has achieved happiness and whosoever is deprived of these three matters or any of them - then he is miserable.

Allaah has mentioned in the Qur’aan three blowings of the horn, as Shaykh al Fawzaan mentions, even though some scholars mention two.
The first blowing of the horn is the blowing of the terror which also has been mentioned in Surat an-Naml (verse 87): “And (warn of) the Day the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will be terrified except whom Allaah wills. And all will come to Him humbled.”
The second blowing is the blowing of death, as mentioned in Surat az-Zumar (verse 68) where Allaah says: “And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allaah wills.”
The third blowing is the blowing of the resurrection. Allaah has stated: “Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.” (Qur’aan 39:68)

Sheikh Saleh al-Fawzaan (hafidahullah) said:
Sticking to the Sunnah is NOT a light matter. In it one will experience trials and tribulations.
There will be those who will:
Insult you;
Harass you;
Belittle you;
Will say that you're extreme;
It is possible that they'll not just limit their harassment to words;
It is possible that you may be killed;
Or Hit;
Or Imprisoned;
Be patient if you're seeking success;
If you want to drink from the Prophet's pond;
Be patient upon holding firm to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahu alayhiwa sallam) until you meet him at the Pond.

Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan حفظه الله:
'So let us take account of ourselves regarding these ten days that have passed and how they were spent.
Did we pay importance to them by performing acts of obedience to Allaah, and benefiting from them?
So whoever has done good in them, and was concerned regarding them, and paid importance to them… then what is upon him is to increase in righteous actions and to complete what remains of the month.
And whoever was heedless in the ten days that have passed and was lazy, it is for him to repent and to rectify what remains of this month before all of it passes away, and he does not attain anything.'

The Prophet ﷺ said: “There will not cease to be a group amongst my Ummah upon the truth; neither will they be harmed by those who betray them nor those who oppose them until the command of Allaah arrives [i.e. the day of judgement]”. [Bukhaari]
Shaikh Saaleh Al-Fawzaan [may Allaah preserve him] says:
This group will not cease to exist in the Ummah. The Ummah will not be deprived of this Sunni Group.
This Taa’ifah can be one group. If it adheres to the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, it is the Taa’ifah Al-Mansoorah [The Victorious Group], even if it is only one.
The Ummah will not lose this Sunni Group, this good group, and all praise be to Allaah until the command of Allaah comes to pass [i.e. the day of judgment].
‘They will not be harmed by those who forsake them’. Amongst the people are those who forsake them and those who oppose them, but they will not be harmed.
This is from Allaah’s Grace upon His servants and that He will establish the truth for the one who aids the truth and call to it, even if evil is rife.
There will be those who adhere to good, call to it and disseminate it amongst the people.
Not all the Ummah will be misguided, but some will remain upon truth, but they might be strangers [i.e. their affair will be strange to the people], just as the Prophet [sallal laahu alayhi wasallam] said, “Islam began as a strange thing and it will return as a strange thing, and glad tidings to the strangers”, so they said, ‘Who are the strangers O Messenger of Allaah?
He said, ‘They are those who will be upright when the people become corrupt’..
and in another version of this hadeeth, “Those who rectify what the people have corrupted’.
These are the strangers, because the majority of the people oppose them, belittle, forsake and keep away from what they are upon, but this will not harm them,
“They will never be harmed by those who forsake them nor by those who oppose them’.
Allaah will make them remain so that His Proofs remain amongst the creation until the end of time.
This group might be in the East, the West, or the North etc…They are not in a specific place, but they are present. Whoever wants will find it.
It is present and all praise is due to Allaah.
Alhamdulil laah, we at present are upon a correct methodology, upon a sound methodology; our methodology is that which the Qur’aan and sunnah necessitate, our learning is based upon the Qur’aan and the Sunnah.
We study Tafseer, hadeeth and its explanation, the Aqeedah of the pious predecessors and that which they were upon.
Alhamadulil laah at present we are upon a correct path, a sound methodology and straight path.
We ask Allaah to keep us firm upon it until we meet him, neither substituting nor changing it.
This is why it's very important to stick with ahlul ilm (people of knowledge) the major scholars and their students who are known for there sound Aqeedah and its Manhaj .... when people let go of the scholars then they turn to the ignorant one's who themselves are upon misguidance opposing the book of Allāh and the Prophetic Sunnah ...
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم foretold us about the misguided callers to the gate of Hellfire....
So be warned and careful whom you aquire knowledge from.....
As ibn siren رحمه الله said:
This knowledge is Deen so be careful whom you take your Deen from.....

FRIDAY REMINDER
Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan (حفظه الله) said:
Undoubtedly the Muslim is enjoined during the khutbah to listen and pay attention, and stop moving. He is enjoined to do two things:
1.Be silent and still, and refrain from moving or fidgeting.
2.He is enjoined to be quiet and refrain from speaking. It is haraam for him to speak whilst the imam is delivering the khutbah, and it is also haraam for him to move, fidget, touch the pebbles, draw lines on the ground, or anything else of that nature. End quote.
Al-Muntaqa min Fataawa al-Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan (5/71).

A righteous child is a blessing from Allaah....may Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ grant us righteous children
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “When the son of Aadam dies, his (good) deeds come to an end except for three: A recurring charity, a knowledge that is beneficial or a righteous child that supplicates for him.” [Reported by Muslim]
The Prophet (ﷺ) also said: "Indeed a man may ascend a level in Paradise and ask: ‘How did this happen?’ So it will be said to him: ‘By your child’s asking forgiveness for you.”' [Reported by Ahmad and Ibn Maajah]
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There are seven things of which their reward continue to pass on to the servant after he dies while he is in his grave: He who taught some knowledge, or allowed a river to flow, or dug a well, or planted a date-palm tree, or built a masjid, or bequeathed a mus-haf, or left behind a child that seeks forgiveness for him (from Allaah) after he dies." [A sound hadeeth reported by Ibn Maajah and Ibn Khuzaimah]
So based on this, the fathers and mothers are obligated to focus on raising their children upon uprightness so that they may serve as righteous deeds for them during their lifetime as well as after their death.
